I lik,ed the cute birds, albeit the game seemed a little random

I lik,ed the cute birds, albeit the game seemed a little random
The physics were too floaty for my taste, but I enjoyed the colors!
Cool puzzle! Took me a while to get and I didn't make it in the end, but I was very intrigued!
The bug where you get stuck in the wall is annoying, but I enjoyed the game! It was fun trying to get all the unlocks
The physics were quite tricky to work with, but I managed to complete it nonetheless.
Really enjoyed this!It was really soothing & I got quite far, but then I ran into a crash :( Not really sure what caused it unfortunately.
Very complicated, I had a hard timing getting all the rules. Maybe try keeping it simpler next time.
Really nice, loved the mood!
When I first looked at the rooms I was kind of amazed, but I found the gameplay just a bit repetitive. If there were more items that would help you, it would be better :)
Danik, you did a great job! I think it would be even better with some other audio and other graphics!
Wow, that was really hard. There should probably be a less steep learning curve and then it could be really fun
The game-concept was good. It could be developed better. I missed a tutorial of some sort and it was a bit buggy. After my first unit died I had 2 unit 3's.
Thanks for the advice everyone. I've been mostly busy with porting the game to Flash. Basically making it non-text based. I'll take your advice Shigor, the flash version will have the optional pauses. I'll also like in some way to add more interaction. I'm kind of wondering how I'm going to implement the 'new' trading but I'm not sure if it will work out.
I think you should probably remove the fact that you have to press your mouse button to continue and instead make it any key. The game was really original, but sometimes I felt like there wasn't a real tactic. It does have the possibility to turn into a really cool game :)
I really like the graphics of the game. The game is a bit hard though. I think there should be a few more save points, because otherwise it just gets a bit repetitive.
You succeeded in making this game really hard. I love the artwork!
The controls were rather choatic and often the GUI elements got drawn over each other. The warning sign was a good idea and helped me a lot.
I took me a while to get hang of the controls, but once I got the controls, they we're rather cool. I thought the game was a bit hard at the beginning, but after that it got easy quickly. The music was good, a shame that it didn't loop correctly.
I couldn't get past the level with the green bumpers, which kind of ruined it for me. I really liked the graphics of the game though!
The game was quite hard, I think it would be appropriate to have some sort of tutorial.
You need to put http:// in front of your links
Haha, the main character looks so darned awesome! He is quite happy for a flying person who eats poop :P
Are the maps randomly generated, because that is pretty darn cool! Also, the graphics were pretty tight, but without a single bit of music, I thought it was somewhat boring.
Put http:// in front of your link
I really like the mood in this one. The graphics are great too, but I feel that it's more of an interactive movie than that it is a game. Great job though.
Wow, those graphics were really great. I loved the mono/dialogue too, nice job :)
I noticed, so I put another download link in the notes.
Can you retry? Seems to be working for me
Thanks for the feedback :) Will take it with me if I decide to further work on this game.
First I was like: "Wow this game is terrible." Then I realised what I had to do, then it was really awesome. I think the fun in this game in the discovery of how the game works.
Wow, those graphics were really awesome, really liked the style of the game. Just like the 'olala' sound of the sheep :)
I did think the game was a bit too easy, but still an awesome job on the concept.
I really like the graphics, however I got stuck on the fourth level or so, the one with the big jump. I would have loved some music.
The game looks really great, the art is amazing. A little ambient music, would make the mood so much better though, in my opinion, this can't be stressed enough.
The concept is nice, but it was not really challenging.
Nice job on the graphics and the music! The enemy bullets were a bit hard to see though, because they didn't really contrast the background.
The graphics are nice, but I thought the game was somewhat easy.
When I first started, I thought that it was a Jam entry made by a team of at least 4 people, it was not, amazing work!
Awesome game, DeadlyFugu. I couldn't get past the level with the lasers though, but that just could be me :P. Pretty cool concept too :) And about the links, you have to put http:// in front of them to make them show up.
I like the fact that it combines RTS with shoot em up/bullet hell. Good job :)
Where you inspired by Plato? Anyway, I agree with Suese, your game idea was perhaps a little too big.
I played it, but it was not very clear about what I should do.
Amazing that you actually made a GBA game! Anyway, I still liked the game, I love spacesims. I think that the game can become really awesome with sound effects and such!
Very nice, reminds me of Rubik Cubes!
Cool concept! Some of the sounds got a little annoying though
I love 'eat em to get bigger games'! Loved this one aswell :)
I think the game is good, but I really want audio too.
Cool concept, but extremely difficult. Couldn't get past the ball.
Doesn't seem to work for me...
Played it and liked it, a bit short though
Game didn't work for me on Windows 7 32 bit.
I really like the fact that it is a somewhat casual strategy game, those don't really exist. Maybe the game should be explained slightly better in your post, at first I had no clue what to do.
I really like the music and the graphics, really amazing for just 48 hours! I don't think the game is really innovative though
I like that the bullets synced to the music, nice job :)
Doesn't work for me on Win 7 32 bit.
I like the promoting, this game should really be expanded to an actual game
Would have been nice to have several attacks, it felt a bit like I was button smashing.
I liked the concept, however, the task became tedious and hard rather quickly.
I think the game could be really awesome if it was a bit faster, I felt a bit like a was just waiting for that bar to fill up, instead of playing a game. If those things are fixed, it could be a really nice game.
I really liked the graphics! The game was not that hard though, some more gameplay would be nice
I love the dialogue! The game lacks some interactivity though.
Loved it :)
Nice game, it had a nice twist from other point and click games.
Came here via http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/sv636/pretentious_game_help_the_blue_block_reach_his/
Loved it :)
That was really hard! I like the style of the game. It is okay for it to be this hard, but please let us save between levels.
The game feels good, but a save feature would have been nice. It really is a pain to start from the beginning everytime you fail.
I love this game! A mini map would be nice though
Is it just me or is this very hard? Anyway, great job, you really applied less is more!
Missing VCOMP100.DLL, doesn't run for me :( Looked interesting though
Love the art style!
I really liked the intro
I like the message the game is trying to convey, but it would be nice if it were more like a game.
This is without doubt the best game where you fight nazis with beef ever.
I love the graphics, the game is a bit hard though.
Pretty decent, but feels more like a small fun tool than like an actual game.
The game felt a bit like Fez, which is a great thing. All the text did get annoying sometimes though.
I enjoyed it :)I liked the experimentation with stats. Some music would have been nice though.
I really enjoyed the flying in space, good job :)
Cool game! I enjoyed it :)
The concept is great, but the game was a bit easy though.
I liked the graphics, the music loop got kind of annoying for me though, maybe it should be a bit longer.
Pretty cool game! The movement was slight buggy sometimes though
Since you played my game, I thought I'd play yours. Pretty cool, a bit difficult though. My Queen kept dying.
And at what you said about my game, I did realize but I thought it could not be used. Will fix in future versions though :)
I just caught myself humming the song! It is a great song :D I also really liked the graphics, but the game is not that innovative.
Woohoo, I finished it and I enjoyed it :) A bit short though
Damn, I'm always a sucker for upgrade games! I really loved this one! I didn't see a connection to the theme though
I like the fact that I don't hurt them, I just make them infinitely small :P
I really liked it! It really got my imagination going!
I always love eat to grow games, the graphics are good too. I think the gameplay is slightly too slow though, maybe make the player progress faster?
World gen is cool, but the game doesn't seem very complete to me.
While it was nicely executed and felt smooth, it wasn't really innovative.
Always insta-props to people who make GBA games for Ludum Dare! I liked the graphics a lot, but the gameplay felt a bit repetitive.
I liked the graphics and the concept, but it felt a bit sluggish.
The music helped to set the mood and I liked the fact that it was essentially a story-based platformer.
Great entry! Felt very retro because of the graphics. I also liked the puzzle a lot.
Nice idea, but it needed a bit more polish.
I liked the graphics of the game. I also liked the puzzles you created but they weren't really hard.
I agree that fantasy maps are really cool, so this game is cool too!
I really liked the graphics, but the gameplay was lacking probably due to the 10 hour constraint.
I love it! Nothing comes to mind that is annoying or badly designed. It's just like cockfights, but with beetles!
I really love the story, the writing was more than excellent!
I liked the evolving world and the graphics, but I would have liked a goal that was a bit more clear.
I like the simplistic graphics, I also liked the concept, although it was a bit confusing at first
The art is sweet. I like that you took on such a huge task, but I'm sad it isn't fully finished yet.
I really liked the flying with the paper plane. Could you share how you did the physics on that? What I did think was annoying was that you had to restart all over when you hit something.
While I liked the idea of having to build things with materials this way, I wasn't really sure how it was detected and therefore I didn't really know what to build
Great mood in this game! I also really liked the music
I really enjoyed it! I liked messing around with it and trying to beat my highscore! The level with the ledge was too hard for my mind to comprehend though :P
This game is great! I really love the graphics, but it could be a bit more clear in what's going on.
The sound was great! I also really liked the graphics. It did take me a while to get what I was supposed to do, but after I got it it was super fun!
I like the graphics and I think it is a super cool concept, but the gameplay lacked interaction.
I like the story!
The sound was really lovely, but the gameplay was a bit lacking. Perhaps you should add kittens that hurt you or do certain things.
I liked the way the currents worked. I think it would be awesome if there were even more power ups.
Not very innovative, but the really solid entry made up for that.
Cool! I like how your stealth game is very different than mine, the line of sight looks cool and works well too :)
I like the idea and the looks of it, it really makes me feel like I am using some kind of stock exchange program. I think the game does need a tutorial of some sort though.
Doesn't run for me, it gives me this error: http://imgur.com/Ed6yH
The graphics were kind of odd and I found it annoying that the music was unmuteable. The game would be more fun if you fixed the issues we are having.
I love the monologues the civilians have. It is a pretty challenging game.
The audio, mood and graphics were super nice, but the gameplay got a bit repetitive after a while.
I really liked the music and the graphics and the game was really solid. It did lack a bit of innovation though.
The graphics are great and the game is very polished, but I'd love to have some background music :)
I came here to complain about your game, but I wasn't able to. I really like the graphics and the scaling mechanic :)
Shooting had a nice vibe to it, I also liked the graphics. The sound of the shooting gun got kind of annoying though
@Gravity Games, are you on AZERTY? Because W+S works if you are on normal QWERTY
Really cool concept. The music is also great! But it is a bit difficult ;)
I really liked the graphics, music would have been cool though
Simple, yet relatively addicting and fun :) Good job!
Lovely music, the game felt a bit like poetry :)
Great mood! It feels a bit random though
Whaaat so you can destroy walls?! I made it through the entire game without doing so haha :P That could have been more clear. I am a sucker for finding things out though and this game really got me curious, great mood :)
Were you too lazy to program your own game and let us do it? Haha, but seriously I like it. It would be cool to have even more commands
Great mood, the game made me really curious. It could have been a bit longer though
The audio gives a very clear explanation of what you have to do, still a bit strange though.
Cool game, would love to see more levels :)
I first thought it was not a very smart idea to have to return to the red button each time, but then I realised that was part of what makes the game difficult so I actually started appreciating that. I think there could be more juicy effects on everything and when that is done, I think it will be a great game.
Sometimes it's hard to see the trashcans when they are in front on the buildings, I didn't really quite get when I could buy something and when I could not. With some more content the game would be more fun I think.
Amazing graphics and super great controls and everything just feels right.
I like the idea that you are supporting the hero. The skill tree and all the items you could buy felt very complete. The humor was also good. Unfortunately it was a bit too slow-paced.
I liked that you don't just die after 10 seconds, but you get to recharge your batteries first. That was a good design decision. The difficulty was just right. It would have been nice to get a better indication when you pick up batteries.
I liked the way all the movement mechanics worked together, but it would have been nice to move slightly faster.
The graphics and audio are really nice. The level reset when the timer runs out was kind of annoying though so killing yourself became a viable strategy.
As was said before, the audio and graphics are amazing. The game has a lot of personality and that sets a really nice mood. The controls could use some work though.
The controls feel really tight. It would have been nice to have a way to block attacks though. I think this can definitely be expanded into a really fun game.
The controls were very interesting and the game was fun, but it would have been nice to have more checkpoints.
The intro was very cool. The collision could be worked on though.
Nice story, I enjoyed that a lot and it definitely added to the mood. The player movement could be improved though.
I really liked the trails of previous runs, that was really cool. Sometimes it wasn't really clear why I slowed down though.
The difficulty ramps up nicely, but it would have been nice if there would be audio.
Audio didn't work for me unfortunately, I liked the atmosphere of the game.
I liked how the seagulls yelled things when you ran past them. I couldn't get further than the sea level though, it was quite hard to get past there.
I liked the twist on the classical turn based, get to the goal by placing objects type of game, that was interesting. The controls would be better if the blocks could be chosen with the number keys and that spacebar would start the game and R would reset.
Great art style and great music. Fun game overall :)
The gameplay is somewhat lacking, but the graphics and the mood was nice.
The graphics are simple and adorable, a bit of music would have been cool though
"There are no bugs in this game" - Anyway, cool idea, I understand it's hard to execute. I think it could be a really cool Tony Hawk Pro Skater game if it was built on some more. High five for making a game about unicycles as well!
Really funny, but it feels a bit random when she catches you sometimes.
Great mood, but it just needs a bit more polish, like a more useful restart button and the like.
Not a bad job considering you're only programming for 2 weeks!
The art reminded me of funny old adventure games. The game could be a bit longer, but still a nice job!
Really funny graphics and mood, it really got me into the flow.
BOOM HIGHSCORE! Anyway, nice job on the game, really cool idea. It seems like the only viable option is to just keep using the example every time. (or at least for me)
Melee combat felt a bit underpowered compared to the magic and the enemies never really attacked me when I used magic on them. Also, it seemed like I could keep picking up new items even though my inventory/equipment was full. I liked how extensive the game was and the story was cool as well.
A nice mood, and it felt good to destroy the enemies with the orb.
Cool art and fun little stories. Music would have been nice.
The movement felt a bit awkward, mainly due to the relatively slow walking speed and the low jump height. The graphics were really cute :)
The static was really loud, but the concept is really cool! I'd love to see how it would work on a grid instead of free movement as it is now. The movement seemed inverted as well, but that might just be personal preference. Anyway, nice job!
Great audio, graphics and mood! Loved the dialogue!
Really calming, but also challenging! Nice job :)
Cool combination of different game mechanics! I would like a pace that is a bit higher though.
So great, loved all the juice!
Great mood and interpretation of the theme! I wasn't able to pick up the drinks it seemed though.
Solid tower defense game! The difficulty was good and the game felt well balanced :)
Nice physics! I really liked the puzzles that used the physics. I feel like the gold mechanic is a bit out of place though, I think the game would be better off without it.
The difficulty was good for me. The game reminded me of the ghost in Spelunky. Even though it is quite simplistic, it is well polished and already a lot of fun. It would be cool maybe if there were more types of enemies.
Definitely a well-designed puzzle game! A bit short, but lots of potential here!
The mood was good, but I feel like the concept could be a bit more innovative by maybe adding in some new elements to the mix.
Haha, the concept and art is hilarious, I really liked that. The game could have a bit more depth, maybe by changing the position of the barrel?
Really lovely graphics and simple but entertaining gameplay! Nice job :)
Interesting puzzles, albeit pretty hard
Great mood! Loved the audio and graphics :) It felt very cinematographic
Mood and graphics were nice, unfortunately I kept getting stuck though :(
The controls were a bit confusing at first, but after a while I understood them. I'm not sure why there's a button for aiming when there's also a button for shooting. Next to that I really liked the concept!
The camera was a bit slow, but the mood was great! Couldn't find out how to pick up the treasures either unfortunately
I'm not sure what was happening but it was very mysterious and I liked it.
Wow, amazing amount of content for a Ludum Dare. I got stuck at one point though and even with the walkthrough I wasn't able to get unstuck, so might have been an unfortunate bug :(
It would be cool to see a post-compo version of this game as a motivation for other game devs for the next Ludum Dare :)
Hard to play on a desktop pc like you said, probably more do-able on a touch screen device. The simple graphics work well though.
Nice audio, but I feel like the gameplay could be a bit more innovative.
The game taught the mechanics very well. Reminds me of games like Dance Dance Revolution, but it made more sense to me and was more fun.
Interesting interpretation of the theme and funny story, audio would have been nice though.
The story was well written, but the game was a tad too difficult for me.
Nice graphics and music, I did feel like the camera and the 'curving speed' was working against me though
Super interesting concept and executed well. Could be a bit easier though.
Nice shooting animations and concept. Could use some screenshake and it took me a while to figure out how to actually move the planet.
Solid game, too difficult for me though.
Neat game! It was a fun challenge to try to get the highest score as possible.
I was confused the whole time. In a good way.
Super interesting concept! It was kind of annoying that the bridges seemed to randomly break down without me doing anything though.
The collisions were kinda buggy sometimes but I liked the concept.
The tutorial was well done and clear, it's unfortunate you weren't able to do more levels :/
Very moody due to the good audio. Like others said, some more interaction would be cool.
Funny game! Ran into some bugs though, like not being able to build sometimes and the default resolution wouldn't show the full level.
Amazing atmosphere! Really loved it! Had some problems giving stuff from my inventory to people sometimes, but that was no biggie!
Haha, pretty similar to my game in the way the worlds are connected. Almost the same tech as well :) Nice graphics, the game was quite difficult though.
Sweet! I'd really love to see more of this kind of endless runner, maybe with more minigames or something. Solid work!
The game is nice, it all feels really good. I have one thing though: once you die the intensity of the game is really low again because of the way the levels are designed. Right from the start of the level it should be high intensity action I think, because now dieing is really off putting . Next to that, very enjoyable :)
Funny stuff! Really enjoyed watching all the channels, even though it took me a while to get what I actually had to do.
The game creates some really interesting social dynamics, like everyone starts focusing on the player that has the most coins. I'd play with that more if I were you, maybe give the leader a crown to encourage that more. I already mentioned this in the chat, but I'd be cool if pushing also always just slows down the player. Right now there's really no reason not to push, so I was just pressing spacebar all the time. Anyway, interesting game!
The game got stuck a few times for me, but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless! It was quite humorous and I liked the little tweet the game gave you to send.
I'm gonna agree with mmoustafa. The game already had an interesting mood though, and you could definitely play with that some more :)
Very interesting concept, it's a bit too random now in my opinion though. Also, you can get tiles which cause you to 'lose' because you're not able to place them anywhere anymore. Would love to see this with some more different tiles and less randomness :)
This was so cute! Such a lovely story, thanks for this :)
Interesting concept, but actually solving the puzzles was hard to grasp for me.
Very nice, although technically this isn't how you juggle :P
Some variation would be nice, currently it's pretty basic. I liked how you can use the turrets to defend the turrets that have low health though.
Hmm, I had like 50 soldiers at one point and a bunch of aerials but the attacks on other bases seemed to keep failing. It was pretty difficult to understand what was going on, but I think a similar game with more explanations could work well.
Really addictive! The leaderboards really motivated me and I loved the rhythm based gameplay.
The music and art were nice! Good mood overall :)
Really felt like a playground, which was cool :) I would like some more variation (maybe more interesting physics objects to play with), but I had fun while it lasted.
Could be more challenging, the game is pretty simple but it seems to work well.
Interesting concept, but it was really tough. I would like to see some this be expanded in the future though
I thought it was a bit weird that you lose when you've lost a single soul, but that you only get told that at the end when you've played with them all, it seemed a bit unfair to me for that reason. The collisions were also a bit off. Nonetheless, I think the mood and the audio were really nice!
Cool! It took me a while to get, but I did manage to get to the end. It would be nice to have some more direct feedback on the actions of the player, like making it more clear that you take stuff with you once it's in your circle. Also, at first I didn't know the shrine was the shrine.
Next to that, I really enjoyed it! Neat little experience :)
Very interesting mood! The game didn't end when I melted though, so I had to restart to actually get to the end
Juiced and coloured out! I enjoyed it a lot! The boost from the paint gun felt just right. Some people enjoyed the climbing level, but for me it was mostly just frustrating, because my jumps kept being slightly off. It'd be cool if the transitions between various levels would be a bit smoother to make it a more cohesive experience in general.
The tongue physics are amazing! I really enjoyed slapping things with my tongue. The dialogues were also way cool. It's a bit short though and I'm sure a lot of more mechanics could be explored with the tongue slapping, but that's hard in the short amount of time. Overall, very solid entry :)
First of all, extremely polished animations and effects like you always do. Really enjoyed that. Here's a few things I noticed though:
Dropping the toys felt a bit off because they dropped slightly above you, instead of at your feet where I would have expected them to drop.
The game felt a bit slow but that might be my computer (There was a semi-slow response time when pressing keys)
When I was in the baby room near the door the alligator entered and instantly killed me.
Next to that, I enjoyed it a lot! I like how it feels more like a dungeon than as an actual house and that the alligator was really scary.
It was hard to see where I was going to shoot, it'd be nice to have an indicator that shows how the spit's going to move. Spacebar worked for me, but only sometimes. The spit sound was really gross and funny!
Very interesting gameplay mechanic! As you said, there isn't much in the game yet, but I think the stuff that was in there was really interesting.
CARS! The first time I played it I was very confused and wasn't sure what to do and why I died. The cool polished effects got me hooked though. The second time I understood what was happening and that made it super fun. The car controls are very satisfying and killing other people with your car is as well. I think it would have been nice to have some deeper strategy in the game so that there's more of a way to get really good at the game.
Feels very retro! I had a hard time aiming in the right direction though
Keyboard control was a bit unnecessary, I felt like it didn't really add anything to the game, it just made it annoying because I had to switch between typing. Getting damage was a bit confusing and I wasn't sure when I got damaged and when I didn't. The game was a bit too hard for me. The font was nice in combination with the pixel art.
It won't stop me from eating meat, but I still really enjoyed the eerie atmosphere! ;)
It would be neat to have some more interaction with the world, instead of just being inside of it
I liked the lose animations in the scenarios, I wish there were more though!
I enjoyed the graphics and audio, but it was hard for me to get into the game. I think I got the point you made, but I wish there was more to pull me in.
Too cute! Really enjoyed the graphics & being a cute little ramen monster :)
Really polished as always! The graphics are really lovely! The game could be a bit faster though
Super neat! Killing the dudes was very satisfying and I enjoyed growing the bloodworm. Reminds me of Snakebird. I would like the game to be a bit more punishing though, as it was rather easy now.
I feel like the game is a bit too random; how long you survive and how many points you get seems to be solely based on when the things spawn. If landing on things would give you a bit more bounce, I would be more involved with the game.
The difficulty could have ramped up quicker (by having the police come in earlier). The policemen were pretty strong IMO. The music was a bit too happy. I liked the idea of a newspaper narrating what you were gonna do. The game had a nice mood.
super great mood and it was really nice growing cool plants!
tip: find the black seeds
so cute!! really nice art & amazing animations
tip: if you don't get it immediately - keep playing and make friends!!
Very interesting mechanic - not sure if I've seen it before ever. I had a really hard time with the puzzles
nice! played it with 4 players - hectic but good
c u t e ninja
cool slowmo effect! the game had a nice feel to it - the graphics could use some work
just a black screen :(
The platformer movement was a bit frustrating - and I couldn't get past the end of level 2. I liked the models though
i'm never eating apples again
nice graphics - the movement could use some work tho
no YOU have a great LD35 <33333
i also had some issues with the frame rate
the game could use some more animations, but i like the idea!
funny voice acting - difficulty could have ramped up faster
very clean aesthetic! i liked the g u i t a r sound
