Absolutely fantastic game :)
Did it have sounds? I didn't hear anything :P
My highest was $140, but I'm sure I can do much better xD
Very awesome :)

Very awesome :)
My high score was $250. Really fun game, I especially liked the art style, color scheme, and rope physics. Great job!
Great game!
My best is $355
Feels cruel but it's fun! Love the visual style. Really neat minigame.
Amazing, simple controls, a great fishing game, an inspiration.
Well done! I loved the physics and graphics in this game. It was a little easy, but overall, good job!
Great game. I really enjoyed it. The gameplay was solid and was well balanced. Neat artstyle too
Really nice! Love the physics. :D
Loved the graphic style and music to this. Got a little under $600. Liked the variety of fish, and the orange ocean theme.
That was really fun. And there is something about 1px wide lines I absolutely love. :D
Really calming, but also challenging! Nice job :)
Very very great asthetic and fun gameplay! How do you do them line physics? Very neat, got to win something for sure!
Really great game!
I like the line physics and the simple idea of the game :)
Nice colors and layout!
My highscore was about 300$
Nice job :P
Cool little game! Gfx is a good example of how to make limited pixelart look good.
A very beautiful game. I was touched by the ending.
This is really awesome! This will make a great mobile game actually! Good luck in the comp.
My record was 1255$ and I really enjoyed playing it. The graphical style fits very well. You made some nice game design decisions here and I hope you extend it to a post-compo version with new fish types and perhaps some kind of upgrade system? I wish the harpoon gets a longer range and some hooks which bind fishes while the harpoon gets reloaded.
Nice experience
This is truly great, only lacking in audio. Visually loved it and had fun playing it :)
Oh, wow, I really liked your style. The gameplay and graphics really came together on this one! I felt sorry for the fisherman every time his cable was cut.
Masterfully done, thanks for the game!
By the way, I tested this on wine - sound did not work, but other than that the game worked fine.
Cheers!
Amazing sound work, it complements the game really well. The feel of the game is perfect.
Just wish there was more variation or more goals, then it would be even better. Got $560 ^^
Wow, fantastic work. Great concept, perfect for the theme. Really enjoyed playing this. The low res graphics look awesome and the color scheme is spot on. The sound is good too, kudos for the guitar work! My record so far is $410
Really awesome game I love it, it puts me in a great mood. Cool color palette as well!
Any chance of a Mac or Browser version? Otherwise this will have to wait until I'm in the office tomorrow. It looks great!
Really good graphics, quite nostalgic and excellent animations. Its GameBoyColor style works nicely.
And the final counting is a neat touch, very "arcade" like. Ir reminds me of "Battle City" from NES :D
@Gwinnel nope, sorry :( I made this in Game Maker, so porting it is going to be a problem without buying and porting Game Maker Studio. Someone tested it with Wine, maybe it will work with Wine for Mac? If it's worth that effort for you, that is.
By the by, thanks for the awesome comments and feedback/ideas everyone! I'm working on a more polished and expanded post-compo version. You can kinda follow the development on my twitter if you want to.
Fantastic.
I saw your blog posts but forgot to search for the game until now. Really love how you managed to convert such a physics heavy game into the pixel style. Looks great, feels alive and plays well.
Got no critique at all really. Great entry!
Awesome game :) the graphics looks nice and it feels quite polished
Love the art, and really like the physics feel of it. Very simple and very polished. Great work! :)
Feedback: I died quickly the first few times, as I kept accidentally firing left. Once I was used to the controls however, I stopped playing at around 300$ when I realised nothing new was happening.
Very solid entry. Nice job. :)
Love this graphics. Very tight gameplay, great job!
Enjoyed a lot.
Graphics and pixel art are awesome! especially that it have complex physics behind but a pixelized rendering, it give a very good and realist feeling.
Best game I played so far and I vote 5-star everywhere except no audio. Congrats.
This game made me so happy. I played atari games as a kid. These graphics. These sounds. They made me happy inside. The controls are good, the game looks great, and it's a lot of fun. I'd like to see this developed more post LD. So much potential!
That moment when I realized that swordfish could cut my air hose, oh boy! Great game!
great game, I love your pixel animations
$2475! Took me a while to get that score. Before that, my high score was still under 1000. Very addicting game you've got, and I like the complexity added by the different behaviors of the various fish.
The graphics are fantastic, especially the way the boat moves on the surface. The bass riff in the background and the sound effects add a lot to the experience. Really fun game, man!
Simlpe awesome!
thanks for all the comments and feedback everyone :) I got the best rankings in the compo ever! I am very happy you took the time to play my game and even leave a comment :D
See you again at LD30!
