This is really awesome! This will make a great mobile game actually! Good luck in the comp.
Wonderful prototype, this could easily make for an awesome local or online multiplayer phone game, or web game. Well done! Good luck in the comp.
Great work! The style and feel of the game is great. Only thing I think could have changed was enemy fire rate, but that is nit-picking. Good luck in the compo.
With better AI and some more varied gameplay and modes, this can turn out to be a great little game! I think you can definitely take this furhter. Good luck in the compo.
I particularly like the mechanism of controlling a school of little fishies. Very cool. Controls were a little slow, kinda like there was input lag. Good luck for the comp!
Awesome little game... This could be damn cool with some multiplayer components. I loved the shark animation when you munched hoomans... Nom nom!
Thank you to everyone for the comments and critique I will take it all to heart :) (That's if those who commented see this :P)... Just as FYI the torpedos from below the screen are intended, it's the idea that the submarines are sinking to the depths of the ocean, and still shooting up for as long as they can. But, I will work on that because it is definitely causing confusion.
Pity it wasn't finished, would've liked to try it.
Interesting idea, and really minimalist. Like it's core mechanic, I do feel that the control and the way the box deviates needs to be better defined though, not for more precise control, just the way it works and feedback to player.
Maybe other level designs can up the challenge, or a cube you shouldn't touch. Nice room for growth with the mechanic.
Really cool concept, with a nice humorous take on the theme.
Got me real panicky very quick, which is good! But after 2 rounds the emergency feeling wore off though.
Nicely done though.
Very cool concept. As stated by others, the control needs work, but it's a jam game, it's understandable. The soundtrack is pretty cool.
On a side note, the source is missing the Assets folder.
Very cool. But it does feel very much like hoplite.
I think reusing the game mechanics is fine, and I can see some deviation, but would be nice if it had a bit more of a unique touch.
Really cool, and love that it's a roguelike for mobile. With some more work it can be a really solid mobile game.
Well done.
Very nice take on the theme, initially one minute feels like plenty, but quickly runs down. However, I do feel the challenge is due to the controls and not so much mastery of the game.
Also, when I destroyed some boxes and without realising I picked up the bomb, it took a moment to figure out if I actually had it.
Interesting idea, and very nice graphic style.
I think a point and click control system may have been better than keyboard though, unless you had controller analogue sticks in mind.
Nice education style game. Some UI changes and tweaking to the difficulty curve are needed though.
The sense of urgency was done well.
