Graphics are really good, but maybe level design needs a twist. At the start of the game, you walk so much without doing anything, and this can be good, but isn't when you die and restart the level from the beginning.

But the first levels are good! The level design try to teach you the things you can do, like jumping and afterwards active the cursor. Good effort there! :D

The effects and the general vibe of the game are very well crafted, but maybe the gameplay feels a little odd, although the "The Lost Vikings" kind of gameplay fits very well the game.

Like the others say, walking diagonally (not sure if writed right "diagonal") speed doubles because (I assume) check the speed vector individually, check the magnitude and it's all good.
The game itself is a very well crafted retro doom style of game, and I suspect you at least played "Devil Daggers" as the style is very alike.

The cam shake is good, but as others commenters say, the "energy feature" seems like an overkill for this game. Maybe with more polish you can get a good game.

@kristof You can discover secrets between levels and yes, you can get an ending after 4 layers of digging. The game is about 10 minutes of gameplay which I know is waaaaay too much for a jam game, thank you for playing nonetheless
@incobalt Thank you for the feedback. I just uploaded a post LD Windows version after all the comments telling me about the up/down inverted camera movement (I got used to it in development and forgot to change it after 1 or 2 hours into coding). I'm not using a camera mount setup sadly, only the main camera object, this was pretty much my first try with a first person game. Also, you can't progress from the glitch level, is an intended softblock, I thought of it as a way to punish the player for wanting to test for invisible collisions. (I'm just weird)

Good effort in your first compo game! Congrats! The game loop is a nice little minigame around the theme, I found that if you empty your energy the next generations are empty of ores, but is a small bug if you play around it

In one level I found a bug where you couldn't kill your enemies, it seems that i was in a different depth

As the others said, the first impression is that the game is unresponsive to player input because of having to mine resources or things like not being able to deselect the turret you have chosen with the right button. But this has a lot of potential and once I got used to it I had a great time playing. Very good job :)
Hey! This is a great entry! :) I was genuinely scared when I realised I was in a loop (P.T PTSD) After I realized this wasn't a horror game I enjoyed the excellent soundtrack and ending. Super nice job with the mood, 5/5 <3

Very good game, I liked a lot the car controls, the difficulty seems to be well measured, but at the beginning it is difficult to see what you need to do (follow the little arrow) and you get a little lost picking up coins, but once you get into the rhythm you understand what you have to do.
My game is also made in Godot, it's the first time I use it for the Ludum coming from Unity, very cool to discover that so many people are using it now! :D
I also made a roguelike with Godot so this game really resonates with me, good job making a dungeon crawler in such a short time mate :)

Great great take on the "classic 2048" game, more impressive knowing that you did it only in 8 hours. Maybe I would like an iteration with the idea of using the white ball as a joker but the design is very good alltogether

Very delicate and relaxing game, i really like the duality of the gameplay with the sun and the moon. As others said maybe the damage and healing of the branches are not very well explained with the red tint but this is a great entry :)

The game resonates with me a lot, I think it's a great idea and that the "background" game is a platformer (which is usually what most people do as a first Ludum Dare or as an idea when they run out of ideas) it's the best touch without a doubt it blends so well with the history
The dubbing and the way it's written seems spectacular to me and it would be a great game without the platformer.
I'm a bit annoyed by the inconsistency in the length of the platformer parts, at the beginning they are super long and from the "horror" part onwards they become very short. I got to the choices before you finished talking and sometimes I would choose without knowing what I was doing!
Also tell you that with the plug to "Taste of the Past" I just downloaded it and will play it without hesitation.

Es muy refrescante ver algo así en una Ludum con tantos memes puestos por ahí, la mecánica de la destrucción supongo que funcionaría un poco mejor marcandote lo que puedes destruir y lo que no (Y aún no tengo muy claro cual de los dos botones del ratón interactuaba con cosas, al final clickaba los dos varias veces cuando quería interactuar) pero para el tiempo de una JAM y la cantidad de cosas que habéis metido (Y la cantidad de gente que sois en el equipo!) está muy bien. Enhorabuena!
It's a great entry to the jam :) the idea is original and the way to manage the inventory is comfortable maybe my feedback would be to try to have a little more cohesion between the size of the inventory, the objects/obstacles and the speed at which you go (it's fun to go fast but it makes it almost impossible to grab things that are also hard to see in the first place).
Great little game! As others said it's easy to make a lot of money at the beginning of the game and with another gameplay mechanic things would be a little more interesting to keep playing but overall is a very good and almost-relaxing experience. Congrats!
Very complex game for a compo game in the good sense of the words! Managing old people it's a very good (dark-humor) take on the theme. I would make it a little bit more quick at the beginning but overall it's a superb entry
I loved a lot the art style (specially the Character model and the portrait art!) the idea is very unique with the changes in your psiche being reflected in the portrait and the amount of content you putted in the game is a loooooot. Be proud of your entry guys, it's a very good one :)
I really like this, I like the space-themed games, It reminds me to a previous Ludum Dare entry I made in the past (LD42, time flies!) As feedback, maybe I would made a larger fuel tank, it feels bad to be out of fuel so soon if you didn't catch the gameplay the first time you play

In both parts of the gameplay I really like the game, the only thing I would say is that the camera seems to vibrate all the time which makes the game a bit uncomfortable, but awesome job!
I really like this game! I'm a big fan of "Event driven games" like Crusader Kings or Reigns so this was charming :)

Very cool and simple (in the good way!) game loop, it's quite stressfull but the cute art makes the experience better :)
Superb graphics and a very fun game loop. Took me a moment to understand the harvest loop but all clicked soon enough, and it's probably easy to add a interactive tutorial to help with that with a little bit more time, good work :)
It's fun to play, maybe have some problems. The first one is a bit easy to correct, in the "Instructions" menu, the text is difficult to read cause the background and the colors don't help together. The game itself is fine, but the aliens in the air can't really kill you if you doesn't jump... Ok, you don't get the exp, but you don't die, and just can kill the ground aliens shooting non stop. Some games fix this with the ability to move you right and left in the map, (As you would do in a airplane shooting game)and having something that comes from the sky to kill you directly.
Game is cool, and feels very complete and polished, congratulations.
As the comment up in here says, the controls are more fit to a mobile game than this type of game. And maybe you can release a mobile version of this! Could work very well, is an iconic character and gameplay is clean and simple.

The game feels very finished! The idea of being helpless is good and playing feels nice :D The pathfinding of your partners & enemies seems to get stuck between buildings sometimes.

@Sophie Oh, I really think that the great failure of this game is the state of polish. I give it a thought and kinda decided to make many little games as a test to myself maybe? I know it's not the best thing to do in a game jam, but I had fun making these, and I would do it again.
For a post-compo game I absolutely would like to polish the minigames more :)

Music is relaxing, typing is stressful xD I think that you had a problem with the collision with the player, seems like the ball collides inside the paddle and saves the day most of the times.

Wow, I really enjoy this. Arkanoid and platformer works well together. Maybe some of the levels were too easy? At first I thought that if you fail with the ball or with the little fella you lose, but is very fail-tolerant. I would like to see this made in a full-fledged game :)

First of all, art is the best part of the game. David improved so much these years :)
It seems I don't get how to play the game, or why I'm winning or losing, but let's do a try. I imagine that the objective is to hit the ball before it falls, but there's all I know. I kinda see that the projectile I shoot to the other witch makes her lose a few seconds, but seems like it doesn't matter because the ball is going to me next "turn". Winning points or losing them is confusing. It seems that I win points by shooting sometimes, but it feels that I would win them by touching the ball last or something like that? Don't know if is the programming or the rules of the game, but feels odd.
Anyway it's a good effort, and I loved you made something this jam. Cheers!
Shooting feels so good in this! In a 6 hour jam this is awesome feedback, both visual and gameplay wise.
Maybe the main mechanic could be other. At first I thought that this was a platformer! 'Cause the constant jumps and the return of the gun.

Enemies ramped up so quickly! And I was shocked when the game sayed "Wave 2" I thought I was on the 12th or so!
I like it, was funny when I saw the relationship between the two mechanics (ammo). Makes you more involved with "reloading" the gun. With more bullet variation and some tweaks on rythim this could be a great game. Keep working :)

Game is fun! I like the twist with the control, but I have some feedback.
Maybe the map is too open? I mean, I really don't know if I'm in the same place every time because I turn much, or if I'm moving through it (Until I collide with the map limit). You have forests/swamp/bushes there to help with the movement sensation, but I don't think they work well with the orientation.
(I whistle to the mic instead of shouting. Too shy for that)

Game really stressed me! But the idea is very well put together. I smiled when I saw the "I'm a gamedev" part, cause all of your players can relate to that!
Cool game, love the introduction. I kinda don't like that you can fail or introduce other commmands with the letters. An example of this is when you get "jump2" you can just type "jump" and be left with a 2 and can't pass through the wall. I imagine that is a gameplay mechanic, but you just have to let you die to restart the entire level.

As the graphics and elements of the game go, they are really well put together! Maybe you lack some visual feedback on somethings, but this is a jam, you can't do anything in this little time.
As other people, I don't get how to solve the puzzle ><. I keep trying to make the little guys go in their thing, but I couldn't. Maybe the game was a bit ambitious on a preliminary design phase and you can't end it on time. Don't know! But you should feel proud of yourselves, You ended a game! And a jam for that matter! It's awesome.

On the first play I got a bug, the turn didn't end and I was stuck forever. Reload and went allright though.

It's interesting and well done. Hm, I'm troubled with the importance of movement here. Enemies spawn at a certain distance from the center, and when you move you can't attack... So, you can just no move at all. Making the enemies shoot "random" also helps to that.

Fishing part is well put together. The ADADAADDADADADADDA part creates tension, and the fighting part is hilarious when you see that bod the fish got.
Maybe you have some problems with hitboxes on the fighting part, and mr fish hurts me when I'm close but He doesnt do a animation, so it's kinda unfair?

It's a nice idea, you had some troubles with the map. Cause you are using sprites I think, and render order in them is a bit off, as seen here: guerrinha.jpg.
Another bug is when you die, you didn't restore the mouse to ve visible! It's difficult to press the buttons like that! ><
Eu vos recomendaría adicionar mais "visual feedback" aos tiros. Quizais um movemento da camera rápido ajudaria (screenshake)
