that is the cutest little zombie i had ever seen. my only gripe about this game is that its going down and im bad at going down due to not being able to plan ahead for moves. it was really fun to play, nice job!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD50 → Run Little Zombie

Wow, really cool 3D retro graphics and animations!
I can't really explain it, but the controls felt a bit hard/awkward. Maybe a simple grid movement (like Railway Runner) would have been easier here.
Cool zombie
Great presentation. The modeling, texturing, animation, post-processing - everything about the visuals is great and really impressive for 48 hours.
As for gameplay, it's pretty fun and polished, but I think the jumps are a bit too demanding, you have to be pretty pixel-perfect. It took so much of my focus that I couldn't really realistically go for the brains (doesn't help that sideways movement is a bit slippery).
Impressive work overall.
Amazing graphics. The gameplay worked well too. Think your game will place high in this compo!
I had a lot of fun with this one. The graphics and controls are amazing. It wasn't hard for being hard's sake. The jumping felt nice and forgiving. Great submission!
like the graphics.especially the title screen! The background music is a bit harsh after listening to it for a long time.
The gameplay is overall simple and fun. The visuals is really good, but perhaps the camara is set a bit close at the zombie. The music was a bit wierd, but if fits the game okay. Overall a well made jam game. Well done.
Zombies are not supposed to be already dead ? ;)
Nice looking game, the mood is perfect and fx (post processing) are really good. The gameplay remember me the old crash bandicoot  I think the jump is too slow compare to the run speed, it's make the game a bit difficult.
It could be a nice mobile game. Good job.
I really liked the game, although at my first try I died instantly and the sounds of the reaper scared me so much haha! good job!
Loved the ps1 aestetics here! Simple and fun game, good job!
I'm amazed at some games, how did you make all these assets in 48 hours? Congratulations! The camera makes it a little difficult, but also gives a touch of originality! Question: How does death kill a zombie?
Great work, loved the vibe and art direction. inspiring for 48 hours!
One of my favorite yet! Loved the platforming with the super limited camera and the impending doom haha. Super well polished and well made for such a short time haha.
Wow this was really well made. Great ps1 graphics aesthetic. The boss looked super cool. I liked the bats too
Love the low poly look and grainy texture. Game just seems polished and complete which is great.
Pretty funny, nice one with this point of view.
Kinda hard to tell where I'm going, but the movement itself was very smooth.
Not an easy game, but I love the artstyle.
Things I loved: - Art style is fantastic. Zombie is cute as hell, and the grim reaper is really cool looking. Environment is great, textures are nice for the feel of the game - Game is simple to understand and easy to grasp - Background music fits the aesthetic very well
Things that I would personally tweak: - Camera angle is too close to where you have a hard time seeing the place you're going to jump. - Jumping felt awkward sometimes. Maybe have a few frames of lenience when falling, so that even if you jump when you had just left the ground, it still lets you jump - The grim reaper sound effect was a little too loud and kinda broke my ear drums after a while
Really great entry overall, nice work!
Art, style, grim reaper, 3d textures, all VERY good! Game play came quick and easy! One thing that did make it hard was how zoomed in the camera was, as there was no way to know where incoming tombstones were right across a gap, and if you hit them you fell. Even just making it so tombstones would not spawn on the first "row" after a gap would be a great change, and would help with the difficulty balancing.
The ps1 aesthetic is pretty cool, love the mood, the jumping might seems a bit difficult to pull off when you are near the border, but overall it's great!
You nailed the PSX aesthetic with lovable cute models :) Jumps seem difficult to time but after a little while feels good, great work with this entry ^^
My only issue with the game is that you can't react in time for jumps and brains to collect, but that could be me being bad at games. 😄 Other than that, I quite anjoyed it, turned out pretty good!
Untitled.png I broke the game UwU
Zombie is cute tho
@Mika314 ha, I had this happen while testing just didnt get the time to fix it, the player can get too quick and just run through everything
The idea to put that camera angle for that kind of game was a good idea. But like others said, the jump are really hard to execute. The game looks really good. Well done !
Great game, Loved the old school camera.
Crash Bandicoot Zombie edition!
Pros:
- Funky design and graphics, reminds me of old PS1 / Xbox games - Dead easy gameplay - Additional enemies and obstacles on + - Color palette also a + - Glad you included soundcues and a bit of music in Compo - Death animation is kinda cute - Good take on theme - Randomization*
Cons:
- Wish there was any menuing (WebGL version) - Jumps are ok, but implementing coyote time would improve it massively. And maybe make a bit tighter gaps - *Randomization is cool, until you get obstacles that are not good in any shape or form.
A fun experience nontheless. Good job!
Game looks great, sound is a little loud though.
I like the crash bandicoot idea, but the randomisation doesn't work for me, the camera perspective means that the auto runner is hard, but a static map is learnable (what crash does), but in a normal auto runner its more about looking a head and reacting there is a little of that here but not enough in my opinion!
Platforming could have used coyote time to make it less punishing
Saying all that this is a compo game so what you have is great!
Decent game with good visuals.
