this has to be one of the most interesting games i played this ludum dare. nice gfx, nice sfx, nice music, nice mood.

for some reason i couldnt kill the green or blue mobs no matter what i did. so instead of attacking i just ran to get past them and completed the first level. then rage quit when i hit that first mob in the second level. :P

the game was enjoyable, though the shots lagged behind the mouse cursor a bit, and when i was panning to shoot a enemy it wouldnt catch up with it.

a nice game overall, though i had issues with not being able to see if my shot hit the boss or not. and during the (i think it was peppers) stage they knocked me out to the left, and i was stuck, and couldnt do anything. maybe add a bounds object there to keep the player in.

This is a pretty good puzzle game. the concept is different than the ones i seen so far.
i love the mechanic of this game. though there was alot of issues like getting stuck on walls, getting stuck on mobs, not jumping high enough to get on the moving elevator. other then that, with some polish, this can be a really nice game. hope to see an update. :D

This was a really good game. it was well developed. i love how you have to go find your shifts and then use them as kind of puzzles in the game. very well done.
the thing that irritates me the most, and keeps me from continuing to play this is that the camera should face the way the car is facing. when i get turned around, its so frustrating to get turned back around because of the way the camera is.

i won when i let them charge me, but when i charged them, the cards froze at the end, and one of the card slots didnt go away and it blocked me from advancing that card in that row. and my hand got over filled with purple cards and i couldnt get more attackers. other then that the game was pretty fun to play.
if there was a pacman open world game, i guess this is sort of what it would feel like. interesting concept.

the controls with the jumping need a bit more tuning, and once you add in some good graphics this will be a nice puzzle game. and i might be blind, but the only shapeshifing that i saw in the whole game was when we shrunk to the little guy. but overall nice game. i had fun completeing it

this is a pretty good game. gets really repetitive after a while, but over all a good game.
So what you would do to reset is to have a game manager object. then have like a static variable that all the classes can access. then each object will have an if statement checking the reset flag. if that flag has been set in the gamemanager, then each object can call its own reset functions to clean each object up. hope this helps
Nice job with this, the graphics were refreshing. my only con is that the save buttons could have been placed in front or above the player so you can access them better. like when you had to drop and item to pick one up, i had to walk away to drop it then walk back so i was able to pick up the new one. other then that, this was pretty fun. :D

This is a pretty interesting game, what the tutorial doesnt tell you is that you should try to bounce with the left and right keys when your the arrow, after that the rest is pretty fun and obvious.

interesting. i also did a game based on pacman. in this version i wasnt able to pick up all the small pellets, was that a feature? i havent been able to win the level due to not getting pellets and the shape shifting pellets didnt work most the time. interesting idea though.
This could be a really good game. i found it hard to control the character properly. a big more control on what we do with the portal ball would be helpfull. there was times where i got glitched from the ball.

i typed bob like 150 times, then it got me to try and type some stuff in, then it didnt work, i tried 10 times, including the period, but couldnt finish.
something felt off about this game, then when i looked at it more closely it was that the gun and the ship are on different rotations and it was throwing me off. not sure if that is the game style, or a oversight.

not too bad, but the constantly running back and forth to the center got frustrating. though you did add more time each time, the music really got horrible after awhile. i made the mistake of short music loops too before, try and go for 30sec loops bare min before you loop. it will sound alot better then.

well you lost me when you took away my imagination in the begining by saying its not this, or its not that kind of story. NEVER tell ppl what to think. let them enjoy your story and leave things up to imagination. after i read that i didnt care for the story and just clicked through to see if i could interact and try to do things, but alas it was just a click through text game. nice art and music though. :(

interesting game, if your going to use arrow keys for puzzles, then i would suggest to disable the movement from them so you can stand still and use the arrow keys to solve the puzzles.
Couldnt get it to work, it ran the start up scripts, opened to the game, i saw some type of scene, there was 100 dollars there and then nothing, froze, or didnt work. i tried a few times. :(
i like how you ahve to control the bot remotely from a console. with more levels this game can be pretty good.
thanks for the feedback guys really appriciated. the issue i had with the game was coming up with a proper way to auto check puzzle completion. and i didnt realize at first that there was more then one way to get the desired resistance value. i hard coded one path for each level to be completed. but the fact that you could get the resistance value doing a path another way broke the way i implemented the auto solver check. so this will have to get a whole rewrite for the post compo version. but since this is my first ever puzzle game i think since it was some what playable ill chock this up as a victory :D

this was a really cool concept. i found a bug where when i through one of the things i got stuck in a wall that came up when the block went out of the wall. might want to just kill the player if they get stuck. other then that, its a really neat game. good job

nice little game for starting late.

so i filled the ship with what i think is water, then i lift up a little bit, and fall a hair and my ship blows up. the game takes a bit to get used to. the graphics are ok, and music and sound effects are good. overall this is a nice game

interesting game, i kept running around buying up stuff and selling it, and for a while i was just getting my money back, but then i started to make money. then i ran the ship into ground evading a pirate lol.

the game is pretty fun, though i would add a full screen option to the game since godot has a bug where if your moving and you click out of the window, the character bugs out and wont stop moving.

@panda ah yeah for some reason some mac installations dont install webgl at all, have you tried my mac download, and have you tried playing other webgl games in that same browser?
@rangrave yeah it wont run in chrome at all, firefox is a must for the webgl, otherwise you can download one of the others that work
@jonahsenzel yeah i did all the gameplay friday, then saturday was all the art and sound, and sunday was bug fixes and getting things polished. i chose to keep that one mechanic and roll with it. maybe in a future ludum dare ill challenge myself to put more juice into the mechanics. thanks for advice
@tero-pulkkinen the webgl versions need firefox, for some reason godot web export doesnt run on chrome, the download versions work if you want to try that.

the game was pretty interesting and fun. some things though, i felt the camera tug me after moving to the far left, not sure if thats a feature or a bug. when we move to another level please dont take away are power ups, let us continue to grow stronger. the fact that i was able to spam shooting for a bit, then had to go back to spamming my mouse button was a bummer. i really wish there was a shooting when the mouse button was held down. but over all the game was pretty good, nice job
very nice mechanic with the game window, the thing that i would like to see improved would be an arcade mode, where you move faster and shoot faster. was fun to play nice job
the art is ok for what the game is. i got a few things about this that i believe could be improved. the first thing is with the theme. the level is so big, and after awhile the level automatically empties itself. so i didnt feel that the theme was used effectively here 100%. the power up system was nice, but i would have liked angle shooting. as ppl have mentioned earlier, the controls felt alittle wierd, and could be made faster. with the limited player precision some of the enemy fights were alot harder then they needed to be. the best thing to do in a game like this is give us full control of the character, with speed, and all angle shooting, then figure out the difficulty from there. with some more polish, and adjusting the theme to be overly dramatic with more gore and bodys piling up this game could be pretty good.

the game plays pretty good, but for some reason the scoring system is messed up, it goes up and down, and i dont know why. but it was fun to play, even though i figured out you can stand in the corner and cheeze the game :D
with the rotating numbers the 6 and 9 screwed me up, even though the bars were there. was a fun game though i enjoyed it.

the screen shake after staring at a screen for the past week end made my eyes water lol. the game was fun to play, and i love the fact that you can actually fall off the map.

i tried to play the game a few times and the procgen wouldnt let me finish, i always came up with end points and got killed. the controls are floaty, but not that bad, the only bad part of the controls is the wall jumping sometimes is buggy. the art work is really good, i wish the enemys had more intellegence with them, like moving back and forth, and the baseball bat guy was just a walk past, and i tried jumping behind him to kill it, but i couldnt, the only killable guy was the gun shooter. so with some fixes to the game this could be a pretty neat game.

this game was pretty fun, the feels when i left the park for the first time. though after a while all i heard was a buzzing sound while i was playing the "how many guys can i push into the park" game. and i did notice alot of your z indexes were buggy, like the building was higher then the dudes and stuff. but other then that i got the point of the game, was nicely presented in a understanding way.
not a bad little game, the one thing that bugged me was that i couldnt rotate the box with A or D, or arrow keys. i instinctively went to A and D to try and rotate. i would like to see an escape menu while in the game, i had to alt tab out in the middle of a game to close it. you can only retry so many times before you just cant no more :D. other then that really nice game.
this was a fun little game. some things to point out to make the game better. dont have the walls close in so fast. also this game would improve so much with wall jumping. you could even increase the difficulty aswell like in celest.
so i figured out a pro strat, just run left, then keep jumping and building the bridge under you and you can pretty much last forever. i think if the balls were smaller and they did damage to the player too, this would be the start of a pretty neat game.
in a wierd quirky way the art worked for this game. i would like to have had seen better shooting mechanic used on the gun, it felt weird that the gun rotated like it did. with the gun thing fixed this could be a pretty neat game
so i managed to get to 4550 points and i then realized what the theme was supposed to be, those pink things pileing up. some ppl might not know about those if they dont get far enough. i would like to see power ups to help boost damage, or alternative shooting styles like split shot, missle shot, lazer or something. the ship was floaty, though it felt ok, but i didnt feel like i was actually in space. the game automatically seemed to give me back health after a while and i dont know from what. then when i died, i still had some health on the health bar. so maybe look into your death condition and check the health bar to make sure its empty. overall this game kept my attention for awhile so that was a good thing. nice job.
i would like to see auto shoot with mouse held down, but thats just my personal preference. nice job with the game. :D

@kbf123 yeah i never did a top down dungeon crawler before so i completely overscoped it. next time i do one it will only be like 10 rooms, and not 45 so i can get more polish in.
@chris-covert OH SHIT i forgot to take that out, it was an attempt at another attack but i scratched it.
@erasmus-crowley yeah i actually had a minimap system setup where it was a live minimap and live max sized map, but for some reason it was messing with my mouse coordinates and wouldnt rotate the character properly. i spent some time trying to find a fix for it and couldnt so i had to just go with the static one. also i scoped 3 mini boss fights to unlock the key doors and a final boss fight but yet some how i thought that was doable in 48 hrs, and i just had to throw totems all over the place to have some kind of game to let ppl play. spent too much time on things that i shouldnt have, and not enough on the things i should have. so lessons learned this time around.
i got pissed at the level 4 puzzle cause the robots exploded the block right through a robot i had put on the other side to keep it from getting pushed to the left. other then that the game was a good concept.
i really enjoy this game, its pretty satisfying to bounce the hammer around and squash them little lava loving basterds :D
so a couple things. i probably shouldnt be able to go over 100% health, and i went into negative food which probably should have stayed at 0, but started taking damage or something. and with the fighting it was cool, but maybe roll a dice to see if you take damage each round instead of taking damage every hit. after floor 2 the exploring got repetitive and i knew that it was just a grid pattern for the floors. have a bit of variation in the map so its not so easy to traverse. with some polish, more enemy types, weapons and armor this could be a nice game.
the controls were super annoying for the isometric view, and since i couldnt tell what direction the character was facing cause it was a sphere it was hard. you did put a game out so congrats on that.

this was a cute litte game. not sure how much time you had with this, but since it was a short game you could have put some time into maybe animating the character and making it look more appealing.

i got stuck on the dash part, and couldnt dash over the spikes. the one thing i noticed in this game is that your gravity is a bit too strong, and the ground seemed a bit like ice when landing. i like the aesthetics.

@anderssonkev yeah with limited time i had to compromise and make the last few puzzles harder to allow for challenge in the game. but on a regular 100 level game there would be plenty of time to learn mechanics, which i will make in my post compo version
@pkenney yes i will be adding the numeric keys to allow selection in the next iteration. also i will be gutting out the life stuff in the next version too and just concentrating on the number values of the entitys and the manipulation. im gona make about 100 levels for the first game with just the simple number variations. then i got an idea for a second game with more added mechanics to complicate things further above the simple manipulations.
@pokenoufl meaning the character couldnt move fast enough to effectively dodge attacks and the monsters moved faster then the player could move. putting the player at sort of a disadvantage for this particular take of the game. like when ever i tried to run to a spot to use it i had a hard time dodging the mobs and bullets long enough to get it.
interesting game. got to like 780 then the game started to slow to a crawl. not sure if it was because of the web version, but it was pretty slow to start out with aswell.
nice game, the looks are pretty good for the pixel art, and those things flying around are pretty scarry, made me jump over into the pit a few times. the arrow keys didnt work for me for controlling the character, so i dont know if those were disabled or not. the jump physics felt a little off, but thats ok because there are so many ways to make a platformer. i think in my personal opinion though that the controls could be a tad bit tighter so i dont over jump ledges and such. but over all this was a nice looking game and it did what i expected it to do.
nice game here. the one thing that botthered me was with the one on one after the other two opponents die, depending on how much life one has pretty much determines the winner here. i played a few games and who ever had the most health during the one on one always won. but that was just my experience. was a fun game, and would like to see this with a full deck of cards and more things to punish with.
interesting game, took me a while to figure out that you had to shoot the blue things on the side of the road. but yet im half tired from this weekend so theres that. was an interesting take on a runner game.
so i used to play alot of air hockey when i was younger the the main thing i noticed that the puck didnt feel like it was floating enough, same with the paddles. with a little less friction and some speed clipping this could feel better. on another note, when the game resets after a shot you should put the enemy goalie back into the goal and not lerping back allowing for an easy score.
interesting game, though you might want to put a seizure warning for the time reverse thing. the game actually gave me a headache after playing this for a long period.
pretty interesting game. would be interesting to see a game like this with card building. the game wasnt too bad to play, though at first i was like ok this is gona take 30 min to understand, but i got the hang of it after about 5 or so retrys. with the time given this was a good game,but with more time spent into levels and monsters and ally types this could be a pretty good game.
not a bad little game, i beat it on the first try with only sacrificing my left arm. i think there could be room to balance it a bit better so we are forced into sacrificing more limbs. with the play style i got pretty far on the second go with out sacrificing anything. though some of the weapons just reach too far, which isnt a bad thing its a good thing.
well atleast when you run out of ammo you can use your body to kill the mobs :D
nice game, when i saw it i was like ok this is another crappy shooter game. but then the guns started rotating and i was like OMG that is so cool. i actually shot the one guys hat off i started laughing my ass off. :D
so the early waves were a bit to easy since the bullet pierced and the zombies were all in a line. i made it to wave 6 but they were too sparse then to shoot with the life i had. i played the game a few times and i noticed one of my life upgrades didnt work, so that might need to get looked at.
this was a really interesting idea, kinda brought me back to the old mud days, but in a visual sense. i could see this as a bigger game with more puzzles and encounters

@rialgar i feel your pain with the 8x speed on the video, i tested those levels my self, and it never dawned on me to put in a check point system till it was too late. my next platformer game like this will be smaller levels and have check points in them.

this was a really good start to a game. you can totally build onto this with upgrades to the robot, more puzzles, and turn this into a 300 level game.

the one thing thats important with a game like this is make sure the player can control the character properly. it felt a bit slugish at times, and the shooting wasnt instant, unless thats what you planned for. and if thats the case, give a wind up animation for the delayed shooting.
pretty interesting game, the levels felt interesting, and there was always a point to do something in the level.

i personally would like to have a little bit more finer turning, i overturned alot when i went to cut the sheep. also you could add a trigger so that when you close to the planet it starts loading ahead of time, and then gives you a nicer smooth planet entry. other then that the game seems pretty playable and i could see this turned into something more.
i quit playing when the red heat seeking things came out cause the floaty controls kept putting me right into them. but i guess im on the fence where i dont like them.

well atleast you put a checkpoint system in your game, i forgot to do that. few things though, the one part near the end after you get your wall jump there is a jump down, and an enemy there. it took me so many deaths cause i couldnt tell if the enemy was there or not. got kinda frustrating, but i managed to get to the end, and the door didnt trigger an ending or anything, just said you escaped, and kept me in the level.
nice game, the one issue i had with it was the apple hitboxes were maybe a bit too tiny, and holy crap at 35 seconds!!!

@bilbycoder im thinking about it, i wanted to try and make a progression system in this game, but that was way over scoped, so maybe i may try that in a post release. like instead of the timer counting up, have a mode where the timer counts down, and you need to survive and collect coins, to spend on things in a item store, to help out in further progression
@week-of-the-agents there really isnt an out in this version of the game. its just a high score game. maybe if i had another day and submited for the jam i could have added more levels, but alas the time boss came creaping in :D
@spirits yeah thanks for playing, and yes that was a huge complaint that i got. the meaning of the reticle in the center was to imitate a camera viewport, and its dual perpouse was there for the ball pointer thing. yeah i forgot to put a thing in the how to play indicating that the block spawns at mouse position.
interesting game. though i early found that you can cheese heal the mage to full health when the only enemy left is a power up, or another weapon. got to level 12, and didnt really see anything different. this could be a interesting clicker game if changed a bit. maybe add some spells for the mage, instead of the mage using swords and axes and things
the game had a bunch of glitches, the visuals didnt look right, and it became unresponsive after awhile. though the music is nice and kinda catchy
ive got a pretty good pc, but the issue might be that im using linux.
the controls could be less floaty for this type of precision game.
the game was pretty quick and bland for my tastes. nothing really stopped me from wandering around and unlocking the citys. maybe have a villian run around and pick up all those droplet things, so you got to race to get to them.
got to lvl 25, was a interesting game, i like how you gave a few levels to show how the new mechanic worked
the game started and the little guy walked into the cabin, but then i couldnt do any thing after that, i tried clicking all kinds of button, mouse clicking all over the screen, to try and get him to do something.
with a game like this i would make the music from the notes im picking up, so the song you hear is form the notes you make in combo, you miss, the song gets ruined and you need to start over.
yeah i made the music simple and small and put it in a loop to kind of match the theme a bit. but maybe that was a bad idea.

the archers in this game are a bit broken, they would always go near the top and hide where i cant get to em real easily. made me rage quit

had some points where i got stuck and wasted burn on the planet, or better while i was stuck dragging on the planet, but i think that could have been html lag.
the music is ok, graphics are ok, the game seems interesting, but i just cant get the controls of this character down. i keep spinning out of control.

since your using arrow keys to move, could you add UP as jump too, would be alot easier to play with
i really like the idea of the ghosts doing moves for you to advance, kind of dark though knowing you have to kill yourself to progress forword. this could have been great for death is not the end theme

the mechanic is pretty good, just hard to get into. having more information on how to play the game being conveyed to the player in the game would be needed for a mechanic like this. once i realized how the mechanic worked and how the game works the game was pretty fun. but the game being hard to get into in the begining may be a bit off putting to some ppl. i would have one level where you hold ppls hands and teach them the mechanic and all the controls. other then that this is a really cool game and mechanic. nice job!

this is a really cool game, i had issues with the tossing of the character over the pit, no matter what character i tried they wouldnt pick up any character, so i couldnt get past that part. other then that the game had a really good feel to it.

i seemed to have issues switching characters not sure what that was about. though the game looks and feels pretty good
the collisions on the character seemed a bit wierd, like i got hit when i thought i was safe.
out of all the games this has to be the best game i played in this jam. a few cons that i dont like about the game. first one is the arbitrary move forward when you attack. when i attack a zombie, it moved me forward into the rest of the pack and i got murdered. this got really annoying with the vampires near the final level when there is like 10 of them, you attack once, they warp and your dead. thankfully you have the dodge roll thing that some times i was able to dodge roll back after an attack. the vampires, when you attack one, and there is a group, they mostly teleport and kill you. i used a hit and move kind of play when there was too many vampires around, but mostly had to corpse run to kill the whole pack down to a manageble level. the progression of powerups was nice, the progression of enemy introductions was good. would have liked to have a final boss at that red rune level at the end, but i can understand that this is a jam game and you might not have had time. overall this is a great game to be proud of. nice job.
the attacks are waaaaaay to slow, and when they hit, there is no gratification. the game looks nice.

this is a pretty good game, i liked the cylinder normal kind of level rotation effect.
you guys did a good job with this game. having dirt particles explode when the machine goes down into the next layer would add a bit more cool factor to it in my opinion.

so the game was confusing at first, when i saw jump i thought i had to jump and try and hit the rope, but then i tried to just move and figured it out. the game is pretty good, the shader effect is nice, the music is repetitive but it fits the game, and doesnt bother me too much. throwing the rope could be a bit more easier to aim, but thats alil nitpicky and my personal opinion. over all nice job on the game, its pretty fun to play!

for a very simple art style you put in a nice amount of different elements that made me not even care that the graphics were so simple, and it just worked for the game style.

this was a fun little game you had here. though the strat seemed to be put the torch on the farthest place you can put it, because you gave us the indicator on where it was. i think in this case you could have had the player tell you by some kind of hurt noise when you go too far from the light, instead of the indicator. overal nice job!

took me a bit to realize that i had to push the little bugger into the pit, i thought i had to jump over it, then i tried jumping on it, then i stood there hitting buttons to try and figure it out. then the last thing i tried was to push it, and then i finally got it. maybe a bit of a heads up in game on what you need to do specifically.
the game kind of bugs out when they call the police, i cant hit try again, and when i hit quit, the game crashes and i have to reload the window. other then that the game felt satisfying to play. and i liked the fact you had to shoot the guy to start the level. maybe you could add mode where you score on where you shoot the person on the body. nice game.

very nice game, was easy enough to get into. adding in a few more mechanics and other things to keep track of could make this a more complicated puzzle game.
so i really want to like this game, its nicely done, but the combat is SUPER frustrating cause i dont have a swipe in front of me attack. the default attack does not hit a enemy when im right in front of it and its frustrating. also the enemys have wierd pathing that sometimes they are walking in the walls and when i try to attack i get killed.

got to level 7, then no matter what i do everymove broke the trophey. was a pretty interesting game though.
oh man this game made me laugh looking at those horse legs. i think most the time i ended up running my self out of the ring and losing. this game could use maybe some kind of aoe push on cooldown. like i found my self next to the ledge with the horse almost going off and i was turned the other way. and by the time i got turned around it was too late. though it was a fun to play game, nice job.
the game was pretty fun, i loved spamming bullets and bouncing them all over the place. my only gripe with this game is having to use the left control as shoot. i think it would have been fine to use mouse to shoot. move with the left hand, shoot with the right. i think too many things with one hand gets problematic for uncoordinated ppl.
i found my self clicking on some items multiple times to try and pick them up and move them. i think that the pick up system could be more forgiving.
so the controls were too hard to manage. it would have been nice to have the arrow keys be movement, and then have your left hand be the bat or racket. having one hand do both made the game too hard to manage. the game looks really good and runs well.
some of these words were really crazy. i didnt quite get the word mixing, but i can tell that it was an excellent mechanic added to the word puzzle system. over all this is a really cool game and well put together. its just some of those words are so random at times.
nice job that was a neat little puzzle game. for some added in score you could possibly add in a move counter, so we can go back and try and complete the level with least amount of moves.
blockgame.jpg i set out to get over a million and it was actually pretty easy to do. nice little game, i think the blocks fell a bit too slow, though i was eating while playing your game so that was fine. lmao!!
nice little game here. some of the parts were pretty easy to cheeze by staying on the edge of the block and avoiding the spikes. maybe make the spikes shoot lightning to fix that, or bigger spikes, or staying on a block too long forces an update and it loses a number. ether way the game was fun.

ok i got to play the game. was a interesting game. though with these games the floaty controls dont work. you should probably switch to a grid based movement, so that when i come to a open section to turn into, i dont get hung up on the corner. with grid based movement you are always free to move and you dont get stuck on walls or corners.

it felt kind of weird to use enter to shoot. maybe have shoot on both enter and mouse first button for other ppl that dont like full keyboard controls.
i dont think climbing the ladder needed the a and d alteration. it felt weird. the game felt pretty fun to play, and it took some tinkering to figure out what to do. but was a good fun experience overall.
there seems to be a bug where i cant put down a grape to block the guy at the very bottom. i keep losing to that. i tried in regular and full screen. the game seems like a twist on plants vs zombies, but that thing keeps me from playing properly.
got stuck in the second level. so i have no idea what to do in the blue mode, it keeps making my character stick, but i cant wall jump, or do anything. i managed to get to the rope at the end but i couldnt get up to the next platform. im aparently missing something here.
so i came back from the black zone at a weird angle and it dropped me so far out of the world i kept falling :D
interesting game, it took me some time to get used to the aiming of the bullets. sometimes when i was directly on the enemys the bullets didnt seem to register a hit. not sure if that was because of the theme or because the hit boxes are really small.
i think the car got too fast too quick after the first lap. maybe a slower ramp up.
the game really needs coyote jumping, i cant seem to get past the first wall jump part.
you may want to set the game to public so we can access it.
not a bad little game, took me a minute to realize i had to hit the potions that were alittle bit bigger to get the + score. for some reason i thought this was a potion mix game to make him come alive.
this was a really fun game. with more twists and turns and other mechanics i think this could be a really great game. nice entry!

i couldnt get past the part when you had to jump back, for some reason no matter how fast i go, the rock wall is there. i usually let the player have the first level as a gimmie for getting used to the game.
had a little bit of a matrix vibe with the anomoly thing going on.
so the player would stick on the walls alot. i would add some kind of physics material and turn off the friction so the walls and climbables are smooth and allow for easy manuverability. the camera controller moves too fast.
this was fun to play, i know there was some kind of trick to putting a plant into the house where it would get balanced light and dark where you wouldnt have to tend to it, but i couldnt figure it out.
@widdershin i just downloaded it from the website and tried it and it does in fact work. i had a few other ppl try it aswell and they can run it fine. im not sure what to do with that. maybe try rebooting?
@s1lv3r-dr4g0n-games i watched my GPU heat and my CPU spikes while developing the game, my computer isnt the greatest and the heat didnt rise over 60c with the final release. there was some things that i took out, like rigidbody impulses constantly that did shoot my temp to over 80c, but i took those out. the game lacks a bit from that, but its safer this way. and i pull the game when it gets to the frame sweet spot to try and keep it safer. i had this idea and another. and for some reason beating chickens with a club just seemed way more funner to do :D
@robowarrior1982 the fast music loop was meant to indicate that you have to GOGOGO and kill the chickens to help relieve the FPS and last longer. and with godots physics its really hard to get proper FPS with alot of bodys in the scene. maybe if i used kinematic bodys, but even then they are making noise, bouncing, flashing colors, so yeah 100 rigid bodys in godot doing all that spells trouble. also godot doesnt have threading for its physics. so everything is done in the main loop so to speak. which is why it gets laggy when you use too many rigidbodys. now i have dropped 1200 rigidbody cubes in a scene and it didnt do too bad, but they were not constantly moving around and making noise, or flashing colors on hit or sending signals. so its a trade off with godot.
@tellyhead yeah i tried the meat sponge hp thing first, but i didnt want the player sitting there beating on the same chicken for a minute. the system i put into place has a wierd design, 1 hp, 2hp, 3hp, 5hp, the red chickens were put in to add tactical flavor and help rid the scene of chickens. unfortunatly with the theme being delay the inevitable, the inevitable in this case was the frames were going to drop. if it would have been a different theme, this definitely would have been a different game. and i would have loved to do it another way.
@cagibi yeah i suck at making music, i just needed something with an upbeat tempo to get the job done. and yes there was going to be a portal at the top showing that the chickens came down. but i forgot about it... :D
@balgorode yeah sorry, i had a suspicion with this game that some ppl would not be able to play it, if only the theme was combine you would be playing a chicken breeding game like the chocos from final fantasy 7
@zoohair yeah im am constantly trying to find ways with godot to stretch the limits of its physics system. but unfortunatly when your doing alot of things other then bouncing at once godot doesnt like that too much. but i did learn alot about frugal design with this game and how to optimize performance a bit.

@alexhoratio i didnt use any object pooling, i just called instance in a for loop for N chickens for the wave. if i used a timer to sequentiallty spawn them, instead of spawn them all at once, i think the spawn lag would have been better. but yet it added to the effect of destroying the frames. :D

@tanis yes thats a bug, the game detects that the frames are too low before the game actually starts due to loading framerate, but yet its not supposed to till after the first wave starts. and for some reason that first spawn of chickens is killer to some ppl. next time ill use some sort of object pooling so its not instancing so many at a time.
@chris-mcknight yeah luckily i managed to pull out the audio in this one. i was having so much trouble with audio due to lag, and things. the audio started out poping all the time. it was a mess. :D
had to download, since every time i click space to start it moves the page down. i would try and choose better start buttons for your web releases. my one biggest pet peeve with games like this is that they put all the controls with one hand. this could have been a arrow keys to move, and with your right hand shoot, or throw the cat. or atleast maybe give the player the option to select the keys, or have both wasd and arrow keys work.
tomato.jpg this was a pretty unique fun game. sure its a twin stick shooter, but the unique thing is the vegetebles.
the music was perfect for this game. the mood is definitely 5/5.
so this had a NES ghost busters feel to it. then i realized i was playing door dash, while hopped up on coffee. then also the eldritch things ate me when i fell asleep.
i would change the hit sound of the enemy to something that feels more like an UNF! or a smack in the face. with that sound i feel like im knocking on glass table.
this game is pretty hard. the juggling of throwing the king down, and picking up blocks in interesting. so on another playthrough i just jumped with the water most the time instead of doing the block puzzles.
i am really bad at this game, i cant seem to get past 300. one thing i would like to see is maybe some kind of power letter that blows up some words around it to help clear out some copys of letters in the way. it was fun to play, nice job!
game could use some coyote time. also the automatically jumping forward felt wierd. some times i thought i could just jump and make a thing i didnt. or i would just jump over things.

really nice game. it needs an escape menu. needs a exit game button. also this game needs a settings menu to turn down all the high graphics. as fun as it was to play this game i had to stop due to it destroying my graphics card.
around 8000 seems to be where i keep getting stuck at. interesting game.
i got to around the 2 minute mark, but the zombies kept standing on each other and it was keeping me from flying away. giving the zombies flying is fine, but i would personally not let them stack on top of each other. because the only way to get away is to fly left or right. you could add in a kick to push them down, or some other aoe attack that could knock them back.
the one thing i noticed is that the pathing of the golem from far gets bugged. and if your too close and call the golem and walk away the golem doesnt follow, then call the golem again, and it walks a little bit, then call, then walk a little bit. my golem kept getting hit by the rocks. with better golem controls this could be fun.
for some reason i had alot of trouble placing pots. they wouldnt drop
the shanking was a good idea. though i wish the combat felt smooth with the wolves. having the ability to jump down and stab would have been a nice feature.
nice quick little game, and i love the fact that you can use the light to flame up your arrows. the dropping to shoot got annoying some times when the light got thrown, when you just wanted to place it down. but overall nice game.
for some reason i got locked in the screen after the i died. couldnt get out of the window.
i would actually balance the game around 60 seconds to let the player have time to enjoy the game. but of course thats just me being nit picky.
i spent most my time running around trying to dodge them, then i realized i could attack them.
so tried using the controler, the right stick is backwords, and im sad about that. so i switched to mouse. and i noticed that there was no cross hair for aiming. thats a MUST need for a game like this. also when i was shooting at multiple enemys the level up screen poped up and cause i was still clicking to shoot i automatically clicked a levelup item before i knew i did it. so maybe add in a buffer asking the playing if thats what they want to ensure you cant just click an item in the middle of a battle. also it would be nice to show feedback on the enemys when they get hit, also you could have them get slow a bit when they are hit, or maybe have a chance to be dazed.

its a very nice looking robot building simulator.
this is a really nice looking game. unfortunatly the big robot kept bugging out. the first time it got stuck in the bush and wouldnt follow. it looked like it wanted too. other times when the big robot bumped into things it got stuck and fell out of the world, or just bugged out.
instead of having space and enter for select i would have just went with enter or for that matter just use mouse clicks. the begining screen was confusing because i didnt know about the selection scheme in the game. not sure what the calculate thing was after playing a card you can just apply a hit effect. and there was a lack of effects i wasnt sure if i hit the thing or not. most the time when i played a card it didnt do anything to the enemy and it took 5 points of damage to me.
definitely would like some feedback when you hit the enemys.
so i got the bad ending. i didnt realize i had to make the 3000 while juggling the onslaught of enemies. this was one the of funnest games this event. nice job!
that is the cutest little zombie i had ever seen. my only gripe about this game is that its going down and im bad at going down due to not being able to plan ahead for moves. it was really fun to play, nice job!
i really liked the toon shading look. it was really hard to out run the enemies because they had your number once they found you.
the in air velocity made it hard to try and jump on the small blocks, and when i landed on the small blocks it felt slippery.
interesting game, was hard to control properly, but i guess thats the game.
some of the jumps were so close to the edge i feel like i should have just made it. celeste did a thing where if you were close you got the benifit of the doubt.

for some reason it was pretty fun to just run around and poop out the fuse thing all around. i even starting making drawings with the fuse wire.

that guy at the bottom right always gets me like clock work. i cant seem to click fast enough to get his hand. maybe change the randomness a bit in the hand movment.

well i would stop the mouse clicks outside the map from moving the rover. other then that the game was fun to play. nice job!
definitely need to have a proper detection area on the fire. i threw some pieces and they landed on the fire and nothing they just sat there. then i backed up and threw and nothing, but there is a sweet spot where you have to throw the logs and thats not good, it should be set up as a area detect. found a few bugs with the box of tnt and the boulders. when the tnt blew up it bugged my picking up of pieces. the game definitely needed a timer to show how long you lasted, so you can compare runs.
i would have a timer counting up for score. then i would have a counter for the number of balloons so we know how many we need to juggle, or what you could do is make the resolution bigger, that way we can see the balloons. and keep the balloons in the arena.
this was a really nice put together game. some nitpicks about the game would be the drone lazers shooting through the ground. and the boss hitting me twice when i got teleported back to the spawn area. i would ass in some iframes after spawning so you can get away from the been of lazers
the one thing i would like to see added to the game is bigger click radius's. there are times i had to click 3 times to get a snap. i think the screen could be a bit longer up and down so we can plan ahead, but thats just my little nitpick. the game was interesting, it worked, nice job!

found a bug in your skater game. when your in the shop you can hit escape and open the menu, then resume and get killed while in the shop. so a nitpicky thing would be to add a collider to the shop keeper, i feel skating on its face kills immersion a bit :D other then that it was a fun game to play.
i would say to start of you could make the air velocity a bit more, so the character floats just a tad bit more, in stead of slamming to the ground with a hard gravity. i would also allow for the character to jump with the up arrow. since we have movement with them. it would also be nice in the begining to give us a check point after getting the weapon and the initial thing. there also seems to be a condition where you and the enemy hit each other at the same time. i think if you hit the enemy, it needs to be shut off and jolted back. allowing the enemy to hit you after you got hit makes the game that much harder. overall the game is fun and interesting. the scanline effect is nice, the music is ok for the content. nice job!
with the speed of the bomb character, it was sometimes hard to get to the other side with the terrain.
for some reason when i played it i wasnt sure the fire went out because it naturally did, or i pissed it out. maybe some more feed back when your actually putting the fire out.
i always lose it at 3 meteors. a suggestion could be to make the area collider bigger to allow the player more room. that would make it more fun.

i would limit the moveability and spin ability of the mouse. specially when looking up, it spins way too fast.

so the thing i dont like about the game is that the ammo is random drop. its a nice mechanic that you force us to shoot carefully, but if i want to try for a high score im not garunteed to do better due to the RNG even if i do better. so there could be some thing to balance better there. the game was fun to play, it seemed like 45 was my average run kills due to the rng. nice job!
interesting game. the moving around felt wierd. switching between the on screen control and wasd stuck a bit.
i would put colliders on the monkeys so they dont overlap. you can make some monkeys faster or slower aswell to help with the overlapping.
so first thing i would do is inform the player to what the control scheme was. wasd didnt work for me, then i pluged in my controller it worked. the timer needed to be white text, and probably in the top of the screen. you could have also put a plane at the bottom of the map to be emission orange to show lava. would have added a nice aesthetic.
interesting game i would definitely put a volume control on the game. the game got kind of confusing, the tutorial made it seem pretty easy, then playing it my money never really went up, but the ppl went down super fast. i would probably figure out a way to balance the game out to let the players get used to the game. most my games lasted less then 30 seconds.
the game is pretty interesting, it is pretty hard to play with some of the bugs. though i did enjoy playing the game. for the shop i would clear the text from the screen, its a bit confusing to know if i actually baught the item i went to hit enter after it said too and it seemed to want to sell it to me a second time. id be ok with a gui shop and click a button to buy the item. the exploring is interesting, i could see the old mud style directions built into this game after the jam. like input commands to go a particular direction or not, or to maybe search for items or hidden things.
so the first thing i did when i played the game was to go fullscreen. like i do with every unity game. then to my suprise i saw the pause menu over to the left. and the game got crazier in full screen. to be honest i really tried to figure this one out. i could move the guy and shoot. but some how i always died and i didnt know why. so point number one, test your game in fullscreen. point 2 have a super easy to control character or entity for the game. point 3, have a clear and concise reason for why the player died, or failed. and always provide feedback when you do a thing in a game. like shoot a enemy, make it flash, draw blood, make a sound, etc.
file size was way big for just a jam game. the graphics being set to ultra high was not good. my gpu heat shot up over 80c with this game. i tried clicking on settings, it never opened. when i got in game, the only thing i could do was walk back and forth and swing. not sure what the point of the game was, but i never found it. and with the game destroying my GPU i just couldnt go back and give it another try. also i couldnt open an escape menu to exit the game, i had to use short cut keys to get out and kill the process to stop the game. if you put in a quit game, or back to menu thing in the level game area, make it more accessable.
so with the web version, the wasd did nothing. space just pushed me down the page. in fullscreen mode wasd did nothing, and space did nothing. i used a controller, the left analog moved the ship, but nothing would shoot. with the windows version i could move the ship with wasd, but i could not shoot with any key on my keyboard, holding it down or pressing it.
@mateu in my previous post, the first part was the web, and yes i clicked in the window, and i tried full screen. the second part was with the windows version that i downloaded.
ill reboot my computer later and give it another try.
the controls are a way too floaty. the camera would have been nicer if it followed the player. the game feels a bit out of control to play properly. the concept seems good, just needs the better controls. OH and soften the music a bit.
it took me a it to realize that i had to put the rocks and slick spots on the road, DUH!. i like how you had to run around and collect the money that was a good idea.
the controls seem to be a little floaty. i would make the mouse turning a bit slower for more accurate turning. also putting in some water cooler power ups, or gossip powerups would be interesting in this game.
one idea to maybe change the way this works is to have the powders as liquids in tanks, and you hit the buttons of the tanks to mix, then hit the button to create. that way you dont click extra times. also you can have more colors for more combinations and have the timer time you on how long it takes you to figure out how to make that color. you could also add in that mini game chemical mixer mechanic from the new resident evil 2 remake to this for added in difficulty. overall was fun to play with.
well there is really only one thing that i would add to this game, and its some kind of visual indicator of where the ball is when it dissapears under the obstacles.
it was pretty frustrating to not be able to at least make it around and kill the small blue ones. maybe have a larger hit area on the small ones.
this is an interesting game. i made it just past 300. it seems i cant get past my dead bodies every where i leave them. i tried spiral patterns i tried ladder patterns, but its always around 300 i get rekt. it would be interesting to have random places out there like islands to shoot for, or have some saftey at. like maybe a power up that blows up your dead bodys in a 50m radius
i think the trees are bugged. they wont break or knock over? i keep pressing E key to tap on the trees rocks, and nothing happens. this is a really cute game though, nice art and music
made it to round 5 though the text was a bit small on the character and it was hard to read. i would do some chat boxes on the sides maybe with bigger text.
took me a while to get used to the controls. though i wasnt able to get to the eggs on the outside, not sure if those are reachable. i really liked the music it fit in well.
too many of them orange dudes with pin point accuracy spawning. also the controls feel a bit clunky.

was kind of interesting attacking on a rhythm. i think the leaderboards are broke, i had a score of 300ish and it didnt update. rip. overall was a fun game, the upgrades were nice.
i love how you gave a bit of leeway for attaching for grinds, made it a bit more fun that way.
i had no idea how to play this game or what to do. but it was very satisfying to run around and smack things and flying smack things.
the biggest issue i had with the game was the controls. for most games im used to left hand controlling player movement, and somewhere on right hand shoot, and interact, or interact with E key. would have been nice to have W as jump, and left click to shoot, and right click to harvest.
the blurryness was kind of messing with my eyes a bit. when i planted the seed in the dirt the red monster thing came up and ate it, and i was left with no seeds to plant, made it all the way to the top to see the basket, and no where to get new seeds. unless i missed something.
interesting game, in my opinion the raycast was a bit too long, i could snipe ppl out from a distance with a pistol :D. the control panels were a bit wonkey when you got too close to them you could see the bilboard over rotate and break the immersion. funny thing at first when i started playing the game i thought it was broke and the auto shoot thing was because of the web problem. had a laugh when i figured out the game. was really fun to play nice entry.

so some advice to spice this game up to make it more spoopy. when you hit something, make a sound, that would suffice as a jump scare. also haveing weird ghost ppl running through the corn across the front would have been super scarry. and when you hit the mongrel thing could have had blood splat on the win shield, like make a sound, then turn visible some sprite on the windshield and that would have been good.

so with games like this my advice would be to use the shadow to allow the player to see where they will be landing, since your using a wierd angle on the game viewport. overall was a fun little game to play.
normally i get turned off by these type of text games, but your banter between the characters and items were pretty amusing so it kept me interested to continue playing the game. the art is really nice and fits together, and i almost missed the cute little emotion effects on the main chacter in the text window. overall what i played of this seems to be a pretty solid game for the jam. i didnt find any problems or bugs with the game. from the itch page i chose to play the jamversion, since i think that was the one to play and rate? other then that nice job on this.
yeah with a game like this, control is king, we need to have agency to use key press skill. try using the controls with out the automatic movement. and let the player move the trackter.

this gave me an oregon trail vibe when i was killing the monters during the sell thing. and doing that made me laugh
so i mentioned these on stream, quit button didnt work, sometimes it didnt want to pick up or place items. items persisted on table after timer timeout and game retry. the timer felt too fast. the character controller feels fun to use and walk around with. using the mouse when it worked felt fun with the conrolls. also the game was artificially hard to play, that might be ok for the game if thats the idea, but im just bad at the game. :D

@lisyarus i might have forgot to mention that when you hear the cherping sound a bird will soon fly by, and thats a carrier pigeon with a message. you have to shoot it. that might be where your invisible deliverds are coming from.
@ylaxus yeah i didnt want you to be able to jump down and easily kill them :D although that could have been a more interestng game having to hunt down the guys before they get to the keep.
@pete-valeo yeah i used unitys default renderer, and anything in the scene that didnt move i made sure was static. also the fog seems to help a bit with culling a bit more maybe.

this feels so fun to play, the shooting, the speed of the zombies is good. the right amount of flares. nice job!
oh wow this was pretty fun and hard at the same time. i would suggest start out slow, let the player learn the conveyor system and get used to it, then ramp up the difficulty. maybe use smaller levels to introduce mechanics in. if you did that you could turn this into a 100 level game ramping up the difficulty and adding in new mechanics.
i like gary, hes a great character. the art and animations are nice and smooth. it makes it feel more fun.

this is a pretty good game. though it seemed like the only way to get at the baloons was to hit a car. not sure if thats the right way, or maybe im just bad :D one thing you could add is a free play mode, like in the tony hawk games and let us just run around and learn the city having fun.
the attack with the first enemy is broken, i hit left click to start the attack, they both take there stances, then nothing, game kind of soft locks. so i tried the guy through the invisible wall and the combat froze aswell. so yeah the game looks fun, but might need to fix the combat and get it working.
so yes the downloaded version was much better to play. and im way better at parrying in this game then i am in dark souls :D i found another bug with the combat though. when you come from behind on an enemy he stays facing the other way, instead of turning around.
nice game, the combat felt good. after awhile it got too hard to kill all the guys before more came. also i couldnt seem to sprint with the beer, not sure if thats a feature or not. other then that it was a fun experience
nice game, the truck got sticky on some things, but that could have been just me. i could see this with a full traffic system and some GTA style ppl walking around and being smart asses. :D
nice art. the game was intresting, and a bit confuing, but in a normal im new to the game kind of way. so the ingame tutorial doesnt have a way to get out of it, i was even in full screen. but other then that was a interesting game to play. nice job.
so i noticed the far plane of the camera eating buildings, what you could do to hide that is possibly use some fog. a little bit of fog goes a long way.
for as short as it was i can respect you making your own engine and stuff. i like games like this that let you discover what to do in the game.
really nice game, i love the mood of this. its like hitchcocks the birds, mixed with some conspriacy stuff, where you can control the birds. love it.
this was a pretty fun to play game, the controls were a little floaty, and it was pretty difficult. but thats just me being bad at the game. overall it was fun to play!
this game is so fun, and i love the third person character controller. the only bad thing i can say about this game is that there was some artifacting with the grass. when i got to the island where the spinny things and cannon shooting there was some flicker in the grass textures. other then that great game, looked great and felt fun to play.
so one of the things that was wierd, i was able to recruit members to the party, but i couldnt put them on some missions, like this one mission has zero character slots to choose from, and it was 2 star. i think with a bit more time to polish the balancing with the days, and having more 1 star quests along the way for the 1 star new recruits would be fun.
uber eats on a broom stick love it! i for some reason managed to dodge the birds, but when i hit one i laughed my arse off!!!

the game was fun to move around with, but there was way too much clutter all around and i didnt have enough room to just open up and fly. during the timed runs i was always running into cars or things, and the hook shot thing didnt always want to grab onto things. but overall was fun to play.

at first i thought to my self, man this would be better with proper grid movement. then after playing for a bit i was like, ok the no grid thing is fine, adds to the insanity :D

very nice game, finally something to play other then delivery boy. so what i would suggest, that tutorial was a bit to handle all at once for my hampster brain. i would suggest maybe give us a mechanic, then let us play with it in multiple ways over a few levels before introducing the next. other then that it was a fun to play with game.
so this game was fun to play. it felt good to shoot the slimes and things. the one thing about the character that looked alittle wierd was the turn animation when you shoot and running away from the enemy. the game felt pretty moody in a good way, till you meet that unicycle guy. so i didnt think the unicycle guys personality fit the game, you kind of went with a moody game, then stuck humor in it with that guy. if you change the guys personality to something sad and moody to match the game this could be a good post jam game to work on. add more enemys, more spells, more levels, more boss characters, boss characters with boss fights.
theres something about just flinging packages around all over the place :D
interesting game. i would have started off slow to allow us to get used to the mechanic. when it first started for me it was so fast. and for some luck there was a really slow robot that felt good. could have started with that to get things going, then ramped up the speed.
the more fun i had with the game is when i was in a orbital loop and could fling my self from planet to planet. though if i messed up and landed in space it felt meh. way more fun with the gravity stuff.
This game felt very satisfying to pick up and throw the boxes around. was confused by the score and the boxes. but you managed to fill me in on the stream about the game. this could be a fun game with the boxes and throwing them if you decide to keep going with it.
the game idea is fantastic, i always wondered who refilled the chests in all the dungeons. now i know. fun game here.
nice game. so i derped and didnt read the thing and realzied there was a dash, so i just jumped around and got the blue things. though it was confusing at first, but then i realized i had to go into the mouth of that guy. maybe when you get all the flames, or enough of them put a arrow over the place to drop them off. also the cursor didnt lock in the ld site player, i would of hosted the game on itch.io. and for unity you could do Cursor.lockState to rid the mouse and keep it in the window. overall the game was fun to play the music was moody the colors were moody so a nice submission for the compo :D
this was a fun game to play, kind of like paperboy with a fixed perspective and camera facing.
the sword swings felt a bit slow. you definitly noticed this in the second level.
@ralin each area has 1 key to open the next. but all the areas cept the first one have tons of fakes in them. and you have to find the right one to open the next door. ill try the game out again and see if theres a bug, but last time i checked the first key was good. *edit* yeah i went back and played it again, and yeah i could get the door open, did you try and pick up the torch to look for the key in the room to the right?
the game feel was pretty good with this game. shooting the bow, the fire sound. maybe missing a impact sound when the arrow hit. but other then that this was a fun game to play, nice job!
the two things missing from the game would be 1, a timer for speed run stuff, and personal bests. And 2 some screen blocking stuff, i was able to take the car for a drive outside the screen and i got lost and couldnt get the car back :D, other then that was a nice game, maybe the last two puzzles were to easy, but maybe i missed out on the fact that the cars were partners of some kind? :D
couple points, it would be nice to have mouse hold down to fire, delete all bullets when wave is over, i got hit so many times when i cant move. something to aim at like a cross hair. also the game got super laggy after 5 waves.
was an interesting hover over the NSFW thing, but enjoyable. didnt like that i could only use X and C keys. im not a fan of that style of controls.
might have been a bit better if we could throw away what ever we wanted after a fight. it seemed like when an item was on the ground, i had to ether put it in the bag, or delete it cause i couldnt delete things in my bad.
interesting game, but because of the randomness i found my self having to surface alot. most the time it was the thief getting stuck. i might have been doing something wrong, but i couldnt attack with the thief. other then that was an interesting game, i like how you did the surface and the little store. was fun to play over all nice job!

so when snake and a tron light cycle have a baby you get this little cute and cuddly fun to play with bastard. was fun to play, but for me it takes a bit of time to ramp up in that tension.

the only bad thing i could say about this game is that some of the puzzles according to difficulty were out of order, some were super easy to solve right after doing a tricky one. but other then that it was a fun game, i liked hearing the little squish alien thing bounce. too bad we had to keep chucking it into space. :D
so for some reason i couldnt move the character. no matter what browser i tried, wasd, nor arrow keys worked. the bullets shot, so there was that.
interesting game, it took me a few playthroughs to get the hang of bouncing the thing around to smack the monsters. overall was a fun game to play.
so i played this game for like 3 hours or so. has to be my favorite game this ludumdare. for a while there the game got super easy, i was one shotting enemys and taking like no damage. and just when the game started getting repetitive and boring i met the level with the demon princes, i killed 1 of them, used up all my food, then on the next screen fought another one, almost had em, but had no food and he had the last hit. so the one thing that i missed the most from this game was some kind of map. i got lost all the time, and just randomly moved around till i found the surface again. that part didnt feel fun to do. but the rest was really fun.
kiddy pong i love it. i would prefer to see the entire screen at once. that way i could plan shots better. but this kinda worked out.

the art in this game was super neat, i liked how you took the inventory management game and put a spin on it.
i must have got the bad ending, it just repeated after i did the alien thing. i can see this turning into some kind of escape room thing, where you have to unlock clues to get to the next room in the building, then eventually get out.
the attack was way too slow. i walked into a room of like 5 monsters i hit one, then died cause i couldnt attack fast enough. with some tweaks to attack speed and balance this could be fun.
really nice game, i kept the small area, got the money spawn super high, and got pick up radius, so all i need to do is stand there. im gona let the game run all day and see how much money i can make while i play other games :D

welp, due to it being a godot game, the controls bugged out in the web build and kept forcing the character to the right. this bug has been in godot forever. the parts of the game i did play it was fun.

didnt do to well, i kept trying to push space or up on the arrow keys to jump. for some reason i couldnt get X to register for jump in my brain. for situations like this, you could implement multiple input maps so you have multiple ways for ppl to control the game.

so this game is super buggy, when im selecting a power up on a card, you should timescale = 0, also somehow when i finished the wave i was in the cards selection i died and the died popup happend. BUT i was still able to move around alive, till i selected the card, then i died. interesting.
gave me some ptsd from when i actualy played this when i was a kid. though with this its always lit up :D the game was pretty fun, took me a few seconds to realize i couldnt attack because of stanima. was a quite fun little game. nice job
each playthrough i get a bit overrun before i can get down to the other graves then the first 4. a bit of tweaking and balance and this could be alot better.
pretty fun game, but really hard to fight multiple mobs on the screen at once. maybe have a AOE ability to knockback on cooldown.
so a really poo poo randomness bug. so during my wave 2 the world colapsed on me and then the area i was safe in started filling up with damage things and enemys were not dieing fast enough, so i couldnt stay in safe zone, then when i left the safe zone i died... thats not a situation i expected to see at the second wave. i really had nothing to deal with that situation.
nice fun little game. a bigger variety of abilitys would be fun.
most the time i just dashed out of the way and let them dash into the darkness :D
the fact that i had a PAW for a mouse cursor was a super amazing touch. my strategy of click on random bags and placing them in random tiles seemed to work out for me. nice game.
the music seemed alittle out of place for a dark and moody game like this. the music was fun and good though.
i like how simple this game is. you could turn this into a small icehole fishing game where you got power ups to be able to go deeper and get bigger fish.
so i ran around the island collected 12 coins, talked to the other guy till there was nothing left, talked to the boaty things at the docks, then ventured out in the water trying to swim cause the boat wouldnt let me on. and i died. walked around the island looking for something to trigger something or move the story along and found nothing. did i miss something? oh and a nitpicky thing, there was no sound when i picked up the coin :P

suprisingly a fun to play game, and having those upgrades to chase felt fun. i keep getting in the 70's when i play. i think if you could move around it would add another dynamic to the game.
i think the game kind of bugged out. i tried to compost the bad order that i made and the stuff for that order was still in the squeezer and i couldnt get it out no matter what i tried. unless i missed something. other then that was a fun to play game. i played a few like this already this jam and this one was pretty fun.
need to put constraints on the other characters so they dont rotate when you walk through them. also not sure if we supposed to walk on the vending machines or not. maybe missing a collider there?
so i couldnt get this to work right, i think... so i put multiple pieces in the middle like it said, i clicked on the things, it made stars, i ran out of pieces, and then nothing. i clicked on the stuff to the right and it made new pieces for star stuff. rinse wash repeat, back to a blank thing with no pieces and no progression. i guess i dont understand the game. its a shame the game looks interesting.

this game was great. havent seen a puzzle action game with multiple floors in some time now. this could be interesting with a full version.
was a fun game. i would have liked the option to choose which item i threw out of the bag, and also to drop it straight on the ground under me. would have made for better management of items on the ground.
i like how you added that little bit of story inbetween the puzzles.
really love the spooky demon sounds and the ambient noise. it made for a good atmosphere.
i really enjoyed the little animations. made the bitsy art come to life.
could use some kind of death transition. like in any of the mario 2D games.

made it to round 52 before my wrist started to hurt. by then it did get quite repetitive. so maybe add in some more variety later in the game levels.
i literly had no idea what i was doing. though it felt nice to dig stuff. i got confused the first couple games i played i got locked out of digging after a few block breaks, then this one game i broke the whole screen with one yellow bulb. so im so confused on what the heck is going on. ld55hmm.png
if there is a way to fix the character getting stuck on the walls. maybe have the character slide down walls and not get stuck. other then that this was a really fun submision. nice job!
shockingly i managed to beat up unicorns and other things with 5 bears. i think the bees that the bears summon are super great and OP. kind of hard to spend more point when there is a twitch 30 second cooldown after you speak a command thing. so thats a bummer for single player.
in some wierd way this reminded me of the witch doctor from diablo 3. though your AI was better IMO

might want to play with the hit scanning more. at times when i hit the enemys it didnt register a hit.
things got wierd once i past the ant, and i couldnt get back into any other level. tried a second time and same thing. not sure what to do.
i completed the first level, it spit me out into the big room with the bit ant, i walked under the big ant, then there was this wall and what i thought was another level, but i coulndt get in. and i couldnt beat the ant.
yes need to have some contrast between the enemies and the background. also a score at the top so we know what we got. then hit effects on the enemies. but it was fun to run around and shoot those things :D
i would love to see pictures over the buttons when i get a new ability. i kept forgetting what things i had to work with over time because the buttons are just numbers. also i would do the difficulty ramping a bit slower. on my second enemy i got a snail and it took a bit to kill it.
i thought i was playing with a 2D game at first, then when i started moving around i was like wait, this is 3D. the shader was nice looking, but probably not for this game i think.
i would like a sound effect to let me know that one of my ppls are getting murdered. or also maybe make the screen flash red.
not a bad little game. for me personally i would have chosen to use the mouse to aim and left click to shoot. was pretty hard to kill things with space bar. but over all was nice little game.

interesting game, but why am i summoning things when im summoning more bad guys to eat me :D i would make it that you summon minions to help you fight the monsters.
the art was really nice to look at. though one suggestion, instead of the transforms your doing on the images, maybe try out the southpark approach and just let the characters do small hops. would be pretty funny to see with this art style too. :D

should probably limit the number of summoned critters. i was able to fill the screen with critters, then the game moved to the second map and crashed.
put the blues clues IP into this and you got your self a nice little education game. 2 digits were pretty easy for me, but something about seeing 3 digits made me go blank.
controls are pretty hard to work with.
interesting game. i bet it was hard making all those drawings for the combinations.

i would personally make the controls a little bit more tighter, and expand the hit box on the sword by 20% more.

so im about done with my 7th completion, 1 last category to go then i maxed out the miner stuff. i really want to see this as a mod in minecraft. it would be so much fun. also i agree with some past comments, like if i can click on a miner and get access to his inventory to just click and drag stuff to it. also i noticed there was a 1 miner per block limitation, so alot of miners were just standing around and wasting time. i think there could be a way to have them go to the closest block and mine it with out breaking game balance. over this game was fun and one ill prolly come back to now and again to play in the future.

96 deaths, 21:33. for me the character felt way too floaty and slippery. control of your character in games like this is king, and i felt i had no real control of it.
the more i went the more i had to get the picks just right or i was losing. maybe some balance with that
my one gripe about this game is that the bullets go through everything and they can follow you down. i think they should get blocked by the walls.
managed to beat the game without seeing a single enemy.
yeah i couldnt get past the 2nd screen, and it glitched a few times droping the orb and trying to pick it up again. also i dont know what to do with the orb? tried pressing every key i could, it wouldnt make me jump higher so i duno. then i tried moving back and forth to the other levels and i couldnt move forward at all. so i was stuck on the second screen and not able to get the first apple in the first screen.
this shit gets way too hard too fast. like i just started and i barelly have a single upgrade and im down half health. should have put a leeway in to let the player learn the game before throwing them at the wolves :D
definitly a few bugs in the game. one being ghost colliders when the bug destroys a block its standing on, its standing in mid air. also when i kept mining straight up, the debris were lagging and getting stuck in the air, till the next block got broke. also the little collector guys would constantly stop so i had to keep telling them to move to an area. then after some time the collector guys were glitching out moving back and forth super fast. not sure what that was about. i did manage to make it to the top and win the game. also when you program a 10 by 10 area to mine out for a mining guy it does it wierd to the point where it gets blocked out from getting back to it. so maybe add in some smart mining so it can detect what blocks to get first so it can actually reach all the blocks programmed in to mine. other then that the game was fun and like i said i made it to the top and finished.
was kinda hard to aim exactly at a enemy. unless its just a web artifact. also need some feedback when an enemy is hit and dies.
got 7 out of 9. couldnt figure out what the last to on the end were. tried all the combos i could. :(

im not gona lie that sun at the bottom scared the shit out of me. i love these games where you have to grind out currency for upgrades.
i wish there were other controls, z and x are way too close. also space bar is usually the defacto jump in alot of games.
so i got like 3 magnet upgrades and i went everywhere, had 4 critters to change too. i couldnt find where to go for some reason.
100% nailed the atmosphere. the shooting felt good. the moving felt good. the sounds were pretty good to what you were doing. oh and ofcourse the big bad fish that i couldnt seem to get out of the way of :D. over all nice job. this is a good wholesome fun game.

you have basically 2 timers, the timer, and the fall distance. i would remove the timer, and keep the fall distance as the game timer, since its on theme. also theres a bug if i move the cow thing out the game window it wont come back :D
it was fun till you said place all the umbrellas in the top row! then i just noped right out of there :D
please put your lights in the room on an actual light source. like a torch, or a light bulb, or some shiny crystal emiting light. its a tiny nitpik, but its immersion breaking. the spikes when they spawn are on a z index above the player. could use some damage feedback when the enemys hit you, and when you hit the enemys. i dont think there was attack sounds, and if there was it was probably drowned out by the music being so loud. also the text was SO tiny, so i would blow the text up alot to make it easier to read. specially if your going to choose a font like that. personally i would choose some type of serif by default so that its easy to read. and put some contrast to the text and background. the game is enjoyable, though its lacking those few elements to be interesting to continue to play. if you fix those put them in a post jam version.
falling into eternal blackness is right on theme :D i wonder how long one can fall before the game crashes.
i can see this being turned into some kind of meditation game one could play before bed to calm the nerves. or just to calm nerves in general. pushing stuff off a cliff is always fun! :D

for some reason i couldnt get past the first screen. when i started the throw i couldnt aim it ever. so i never got a shot off.
unfortunatly the web version suffers a problem with the mouse click. when i click in the screen the character looks straight up and theres no way to look away again. reloaded a few times, i can move around but when i try to click to interact with anything the view shoots up.
so funny story. im watching a twitch streamer who was making a game just like this. and i told him and he had a bit of a chuckle!. overall was a fun game to play i made it to the 1t thing but kept dieing. guess im bad at this game :D
so i ended up falling out of the game world. i went all the way right, got to blackness, then went down. then left all the way over. then fell down to nothing, then it turned grey. so yeah falling forever :D
@bcvery1 yeah global.gd is my singleton file, it worked on all the other platforms, not sure about why it didnt work on linux. ill look into it.
@pohead12345 yeah im playing around with post compo game now, and im looking at the aspect of brining more things to do in the game since i fixed the random ball bounce thing and its quite repetitive without things to do.
@Boltkey yeah its beatable, but you had to get the balls flying off at a certain angle at the begining, and thats partly due to my bad design in difficulty. :D And i went with the dark and scary because its just a personal preference. I can experiment with a rainbows and ponys version with happy music and see how it works. if it does, ill put it in the post compo version :D
this is a really great game. with some more automation stuff and enemy types this could be an even better game. nice job!!
this game is pretty good, its a harder version of chess because its real time, and you have to watch the whole board at one time. with more polish this can be a great game.

this game wasnt too bad, once i figured out that i had to drag the card onto the board, and not click and hold the card in place. totally a different game experience. the art and sound is good, there isnt any really programming issues in the game, other then that click and hold thing, i would change that to click and drag. this is better then alot of the other card games i played.

when i saw this game i was like omg its going to be great. then i pick it up and start playing and the controls feel super clunky to me. i would suggest a keyboard rebind system so we can change the keys, or maybe add in some type of controller support if thats possible. other then that, everything else is amazing, and feels good. nice job

i think i beat the game, i got to the part where it said some stuff about a dream and gave me a click and go option. the one thing i didnt like about this was that the girl was facing once direction even though i was going in another direction. the listening thing for the sound was a good mechanic and used very well here.

i like the game, had some issues at first getting the hang of the game, though i still cant tell who is doing what and if my clicks do anything at all.

i would suggest to ease your way into the game letting your player learn the controls, like say have rounds and only a few enemys. by the time i learned the cats can shoot i got over welmed. on the next few plays i had issues with the cats shooting what i shot at. but i can see that this could be a pretty neat game with more polish

this is a nice game. once i got the hang of what color is what, getting through the maze was pretty fun. nice job
your credits button is a link to controls, and your controls button is a link to credits. the character started wigging out for me, and it kept going form map, to side scroller, on its own, then it flung me into the mountain area where i bugged out, and the mountain started moving when i moved the character, maybe it was coliding with it? duno, this game could use some polish. ill come back and play in the future.
