Cool execution :p Good job!
I'm a sucker for a good pinball game, and I absolutely love the way you incorporated the looping theme into it. The only criticism I have is that the placement of some of the paddles did make for a long wait for you could hit anything again and it would just fall.
Really cool.
the flippers on the left side didnt have enough ummph to em. couldnt really get the ball moving with them. had to just let the ball drop past. i could see this turning into some interesting rythm pinball game.
Who doesn't love a good pinball game. Very interesting take on the theme I never would have thought of an infinite pinball table. I will say there where some times that I felt the ball got completely out of control (specifically bouning in a nearly horizontal line between two bumpers.) but it never got stuck and your sound effects are nice so it wasn't a pain to listen to them go off rapid fire. Good stuff.
A very nicely executed pinball game, but I can't help but agree with JCMOnkey that the flippers don't do much. Also doesn't this defeat the point of pin-ball?
My first run was a 3:48 :D
Sometimes the ball went into hyperspace but I didn't see that as a negative thing. It was nice to build up points quickly. The multipliers stacking is also nice.
The theme integration is really nice, even though now you can't technically lose. The sound design was pretty as well, so getting huge chains was extra cool.
As mentioned before, the flippers are a bit weak to feel impactful. That is my only complaint though :D
1:21 first try. This was a really interesting take on the theme and I really enjoyed playing this game!
2:59 on first run.
Really getting the Windows XP space cadet vibes from this. I loved that game.
Creative use of the theme.
I got 4:36 on my first try, not so good, even though I used to be quite good at space cadet.
Very cool interpretation of the theme, I liked it a lot :)
Really neat take on the theme, I think this was the perfect place to explore this idea. I'm not much of a fan of pinball, but I must say it's impressive you made a level that (at least to me) didn't have any places you could get stuck in. I would have liked more interactability in this game (as others have already mentioned), but overall this is a really cool experiment. Great work!
apparently i'm bad at pinball cause my first run took my 5:43, but this was really fun! ball felt a lil' heavy maybe but for the timeframe this was really great. good use of colours to differentiate the elements, too!
I like the concept of the infinitely looping pinball table; it is something I could never have thought of myself and I think it fits well with the theme. I did find the physics a bit janky though, the few times the ball got close enough to the paddles for me to interact I felt like it just went off whichever direction it felt like. I think that with a bit of polish to that interaction, and maybe a few fewer places where the ball went off and did its own thing for a while, this would be an immensely fun take on a pinball game. The use of “get X points as fast as possible” as the goal was a clever way to have an end state for a infinite loop, I like it. Well done!
How come I've never heard of infinite pinball before? What a unique idea! Fits the theme real well. I kind of wish there was a bit more I could do other than wait for the ball to get close to one of the few paddles I had. But it's a real solid entry. My favorite thing about it is how the game never resets and flows from one attempt to another. That's a good detail. My best time was 3:34!
My best time after 2 or 3 tries was a 1:10. I like the idea of infinite looping pinball, but in addition to the physics being quite janky, it felt like there were a lot of long stretches of time where I didn't have any chance to touch the ball. Altogether a nice concept and a fun little time waster.
Great game! I really like the idea of creating music as a function of gameplay, my submission has a similar mechanic. I wish the layout of the table was more conducive to hitting lots of different things, so that hearing cool sounds was easier and more frequent.
My best was 2:12! I wish I could tilt :)
This is a very cool concept.
The controls of the pads felt really clucky and the impact on the game was very little I think. Most just came down if you hit a x3 by accident early on.
I really enjoyed it though and it really fits the theme
Thank you for the game
6:00 on first try. Really cool concept. Sometimes, I had the impression I had little to no control on the ball itself even when properly redirected with the flippers. With a little bit of polish this has the potential of becoming a really nice commercial game.
Great use of the theme! I was able to win by just leaving the game open in the background  Great game has a lot of fun (while I was playing) so thank you for that!
Cool concept!
@neonjeff I just beat your time with 2:11! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Really cool idea and well executed! My best score is 1:23 :D
Reminded me of Rollerball (one of my favorite NES games) and I loved it. What a cool idea and experience. Thanks!
