Really cool concept. Camera angle worked really well, always felt like I knew what was going on which seems like that might be hard to get right in a game like this. Would be awesome to see levels that are more than just flipping the ball at the right angle (like breakable roofs or pinball bumpers that launch the ball higher or multiple layers of flippers or whatever). I'd totally play more this if you fleshed it out after the jam!!
Fantastic! Love the concept and the art. Also difficultly was nicely tuned. Took me a little while to beat it but I made it a little farther each time.
Dang, made by the guy who taught me how to make my game.
Ha well done! What's your high score? (I got 96)
Ahhh how do you give the battery to the vacuum?? Nice game. Procedural level generation was cool! Well done
Dang this was an awesome game! It was fun trying to like ricochet armies of each other to make multiple attacks in a single move. Rock Paper Scissors worked well. I thought this brought a lot of really interesting elements together. Nice job. One piece of feedback was I didn't realize I had another army in the lower right hand corner on the first level because it was covered by the turn info.
Maybe it's my computer's fault but the notes didn't seem to quite line up with the music (seemed to always be about a quarter of a second too fast). But other than that great execution. Thought the transitions were funny.
Lots of levels! I liked some of the level design though some felt really straight forward / like a big step down from the level before. Nice job
Super fun, surprising amount of depth especially for a 1 button game.
Most fun I've had so far easily. Super well made. I had a lot of fun trying to throw the heart into the goal and trying to do loopdeloops with the heart. Fuck the pigeons.
I had fun! Intuitive, figured it out without a tutorial. Nice game!
Nice job! Interesting concept. A lot going on but not complicated. Well done
Wildly inaccurate interpretation of the music industry ...in this game you can actually make money!! I enjoyed the game. The UI rendered a little strangely sometimes (maybe it's just my computer) but I seemed to still be able to play / understand what's going on.

holy shit, brilliant concept, well done
Informative "tutorial popups"
Physics are a lil buggy but also I'm here for it
Wow well done! Funny concept, interesting gameplay. I had fun! Love the fact that you show the network strength based on how faded the castle connection is.
The art was great! I was a little confused about when I should be preparing a drink, or reading the text.
Echoing the above, bouncing bullets was a fun mechanic. Nice game!
Woah you can surf on the seagulls! Art and animations are great!
Ah, good feedback -- after the "Maze" the puzzles are somewhat less about memorization.
If you'd like to skip through the maze, here are the safe squares (X = fire) ``` ...XXXXX ..XX.... ..X..... .....X.. ....XX.. XXXXX... XXXX.... ``` (Also the fire doesn't do a ton of damage if you just run straight through a tile or two)
LOL!
Reminds me of the set of the kids show "Zoom"
Nice game, interesting take on those side scrolling games where you try to get as far as you can.
Wow, sick game. Gatling gun shooting, bullet drop, and the helicopter movement felt super polished. Love the BZZZZ sound effect lol.
Nice level design, 4th level was really well done! I like how it felt like you could solve levels multiple ways (sometimes you could flip the treats really far and do things that I don't think were originally intended but as a player that made me feel like I had more power!
One bit of feedback is it would have been nice to be able to choose when the level starts (maybe on key press?) so you're not scrambling to find the right keys after clicking something.
Dang, well crafted game. I like how you don't die if the fire goes out, you just have to try again. Felt like there was a good difficulty curve!
Loved the fish poop, found it funny when it landed on top of another fish. Good contrast with a lot of the other super frantic games in the jam.
Dang, nice visuals.
Trippy, really cool!
Nice vibes! You sound frighteningly like Bennet Foddy.
Stressful! But well done. Good tutorial.
Yeah agree with @madbookstudios really zen. Nice job!
For real this was my ludum dare experience after I upgraded my unity version mid way through the project. Nice game. Cool leaderboard.
Cool idea!
Cool!
How does the placement of the princess work? Sometimes she was like 2 steps away even for some of the later levels. Is that just random?
Lol quite literal take on the theme. Nice job!
Wow super polished. Great job
Cool idea!
Cool concept. Lots of depth for a "1 button" game
Animations + sound are slick and satisfying
Loved that you included the dev haxx in the tutorial. Really polished!
That dance gonna be the new "flossing"
RIP humanity, oops.
Very in tune "do do"-ing. Nice
Cool concept, wasn't always sure when I would be able to land on a wall though. Otherwise really polished!
Wow, really cool concept. Really fun. You should actually release this. I'd buy it
Cool! More fun than I would have thought
Cool game! too me a minute to figure out how to remove the star things (I thought I couldn't touch them so I rarely flew close enough) but once I figured it out it was fun!
This isn't rocket science... oh wait...
Cool concept!
Well executed!
Among us vibes with the station. Nice job.
Cool concept, really good execution!
There is a surprising amount of freedom in the game (i.e. jumping, changing lure sides, picking up hooks on the surface, falling into water, swinging your lure as it falls into the water, etc...). Also nice job with the details like the main character's walking animation.
Hypeeee
Takes me back to playing motherload in highschool, great game!
Well done! that was a lot of fun
Such a zen game. Love the art and the take on the theme. Kind of reminded me of Seedship. Awesome job! (And thanks for the HTML5 build!)
I like the minimalist atheistic. Agree that sometimes the right side was a little hard to see. But nice job!
Hmm it's not rendering for me like in the gif, for whatever reason I see basically nothing of the character, it's just the walls/lava.
Wow killer concept. So fun!
Feels really original. Awesome job!
Took me a minute to figure out what was going on but fun when I got the hang of it! Gator behavior felt very natural. rating: Gator/10.
Felt really chill. I had fun!
Wow gorgeous game. Controls feel smooth, rotating world puzzle mechanic was super slick and felt like you made good use of it. Not totally sure how the 2D map maps to this space but I'm super glad that y'all implemented it, helped me figure out that I was turned around a number of times.
I wish your leaderboard held more than 5 slots, I think I would have been 6th lol
Very pretty! Controls felt really good.
TIL carrots grow 20m+ below ground :joy:. Super polished, amazing entry!
\m/
Wow super polished. Love the simple art style and the details like the drill rotating when you're traveling through rocks. Really interesting movement mechanics, only being able to turn while drilling. Really unique entry, awesome job!
I'm a sucker for isometric art, looks gorgeous. Love the fact that the intro cutscene into the game is seamless. Not too many LD submissions try to do automation/building games, well done!
Screen Shot 2021-04-26 at 20.28.27.png barely made it
Hmm, mug noodles??
Neat! I liked that I had 2 options for what to type. Nice animations. Well done!
Wow a lot of fun, really polished, nice job! One thing to note -- the game was a little too tall for my screen so I sometimes had to scroll on the webpage up and down to see various things.
I really liked the character sprites, very well done. Game was fun! I also liked the "reveal the dark" mechanic. Made the game a lot less spooky when I could snipe the grunts from outside their agro range :)
Took me a minute to understand that my blasting was getting more powerful as I destroyed stuff. But felt cool when I started destroying everything around blast level 20. Loved the quips! Unique concept, I had fun. Just finished my nachos
LMAO awesome game. Audio was superb. So awkward, I love it.
@cheesepencil unfortunately no :( I didn't quite have time
@zwodahs brutal :sob: yeah the fact that you can trigger terrain tiles while trying to move the map around was not well done on my part. You can zoom out with mouse scroll wheels (and I think trackpad pinch) if need be if that's what you mean by "make the map smaller". But in any case thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback.
@Molpe so cool, thank you for the video!!
Really insightful to see the player's perspective -- looks like my implementation of scanning didn't do a great job of explaining itself. It should tell you what the tile's contents are in the message pop ups on the right side of the screen. It should also show you what the contents are if it contains Loot/Danger/Bio but there is no icon for dirt -- I think most of the times you used it you scanned dirt so it looked like nothing happened. So I should give better visual feedback when you scan an empty tile!
Thanks again!
Wow awesome job with the hand drawn art style. It felt like the turtles would sometimes try to protect me from the sharks (but they usually failed :joy:)
Wow super unique take on the theme. Sometimes it was hard to tell which symbol I needed to throw but I think I just need to practice. Fantastic art, great job.
Wow super slick. Love the concept and the seamless level transitions
Tasty game. I love the fact that the objects cast shadows.
Art was fantastic. I enjoyed the music too! Nice job.
I'm not sure if it's my fault but framerate was really low for me. Seems interesting though!
Seems like we had kind of similar concept but it seems like your game world is more unique/interesting. I really like your world/map and the way you uncover the art as you walk around. Awesome job!
Cool movement mechanics. Interesting game, nice entry!
Wow lots of cool little puzzles. You packed a lot into this a jam game. Nice job!
Well polished, nice!
Nice job with the fauna art. Are there really slanted anteaters in the depths of the marianas trench? :joy:
So to be honest, I've played a bunch of other "Dive into water and avoid things" games so far...
...but I gotta say, this one is far and away the best one!
It's super well balanced, the difficulty ramps up very smoothly, the enemies are really interesting (I especially like the Foosh -- Homing + Lunge worked really well here!) and I liked mechanics like reduced light (for the first 50 meters I was like pssh who needs a flashlight but by 500 meters I was desperately searching for one!)
If I were back in high school computer lab, I'd definitely skip all my assignments and just play this.
Great job!
G'Damnit! Mah drill's overheated!
LOL I love that some fish flip around and fly past you like they were launched out of a cannon. Need some fish police to enforce the speedlimit.
Wow, fantastic!
Unique concept for sure. Nice job!
Wow gorgeous game, goo physics are super cool! Well done!
What's the "highest value" gem? I made it down to emerald(?) I think. Fun game!
Wow, amazing that you did this in a game jam's worth of time. I love how I always miss the square that sends my orders to the customers when I drop the packed food but it still flys away anyway. Nice job!
Gorgeous art style!
Art is beautiful, simple concept but actually a lot of fun. I assume the enemies move randomly? Neat!
Haha interesting! I actually thought it was intentional when they didn't move, it seemed like the enemies were always up against a wall when they didn't move so I just assumed the direction they picked to move was into the wall.
ahhhh the jellyfish!! The zig-zag upwards swim pattern is something I haven't really seen in a game like this. Fun!
Cool concept, and was actually a lot of fun! Maybe a stupid question but is the answer random each time? I could have missed it but I didn't notice any pattern between rounds/colors and what the answer was.
Looks like we had similar ideas :joy: . Really cool that you added an element of character movement and you managed to solve the "delete all 0 adjacency" squares problem which I didn't get to. Awesome job!
Feels pretty polished! Actually requires some strategy to clean out the levels. Nice job
Solid puzzle game, took me a minute to understand the rules but really compelling once I did. I am also probably too dumb to play this and could not for the life of me figure out level 2. Awesome job though!
Hold up I beat level 2. Sick.
Wow awesome concept and great take on the theme!
Nifty. Man I fell so hard for that ice bit on level 2. Great graphics and scene transitions
Wow gorgeous. Really satisfying to win and there's a surprising amount of depth! Amazing you had time to flesh out so many quality levels. Fantastic job.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Wow looks great! Kinda reminds me of the trash compactor scene in star wars.
Gorgeous! Reminds me a bit of "Remember, Apollo" but with more of a story
I love me some golf! Interesting way to fit that type of game into the theme. It took me a little while to figure out that the ball launches away from the direction you draw the mouse line but was fun once I got the hang of it.
@myles-doupe yeah good call out on RNG -- agreed. I wanted to make the block color/shape order deterministic but ran out of time.
WTF did I just play. I like that y'all put effort into the details like measuring the height of horse related things with "hands". Nice job.
Man they've eliminated global warming but have not invented auto pilot for spaceships
Really polished, loved the art style and as people said above really creative. Awesome entry!
Ah yes, like my game but much more polished and original, great entry! Enjoyed the moments when I placed a block and it didn't quite go where I wanted it and then I tried to use other blocks to hammer the block into place and I just end up launching my tower to kingdom come.
Wow looks gorgeous.
Nice job. Sometimes I got unlucky and died without being able to draw a troop. But impressive entry for the compo!
How should flat Earther's feel about the world actually being a cube?? (Nice game! I like the art)
Soundtrack on Spotify when? Nice entry!
Excellent voice acting. Sometimes I just kill my pieces to hear a good "Urk!"
Ooof too real. Clever concept.
RIP all the little balls I killed . Fantastic entry.
As a software engineer, I feel like I've been training my entire professional career to type "ls" as many times and as quickly as possible. Thank you for giving my life purpose and fulfillment.
Nice key art/graphics in general!
Nice entry! The gameplay/controls feel good which can be hard to get right in a game like this.
Nice job! The movement feels really good.
Gorgeous! Creative take on the theme.
Love the music!
Wow, this is one of the most complete racing games I've ever played across many jams. The AI(?) behavior looks amazing and was tuned very well such that the game felt competitive. Fantastic job. The turning feels a bit wonky on WASD (I think it's too sharp?) but everything else felt great. Also maybe my favorite take on the theme so far.
Super juicy. Love it.
It's working for me (WebGL). Took me a minute to figure out the controls and movement was a bit abrupt, but the graphics are fantastic and was fun when I got into the swing of things!
Why!! I do game jams to escape cubicle hell!! (jk, nice job! love the art style)
Lol is the score tracked in like microseconds? Echoing what most everyone has already said, nice, simple concept!
