The art is so cute and the animations are so good! I love the bunny's little smile. The combat mechanic was a really neat addition to this style of game. I just wish there was a little bit more added difficulty as I dig. Awesome game, lots of fun!

This was so well done! I think it would be nice if the abilities were a bit cheaper so one could see more of the game in a shorter amount of time, but it was definitely fun enough for me to play for quite a bit!
That's a great game, art and animation are really sweet. I really enjoyed the extra care you put in some mecanics such as the combat system or the fact that if you hit a bomb once by mistakes it gives you some time to run away. I think my only issue with the game is the difficulty wich is a bit too easy, each run being a bit too long in my opinion (shorter runs will increase the incentive to press the replay button I think).
Overall an impressive entry, very well done!

Insane polish for a compo game. Very nice visuals and the soundtrack had me banging.
I think the game is held back a bit by the interactions being a bit to simple. Digging is fun - combat is mostly waiting for pretty obvious openings <- which is fine but combat needs to happen fewer inbetween, be more impactful (like showering you in loot) or have way more variety earlier on. Because it takes so much more time than to simply mine.
Yeah, I think as a *game* and not as a product of a jam it needs an additional balance pass on the main mechanics. But as a compo entry this is done extremly well and impressive.

The amount of mechanics, art and overall polish is insane for compo. I didn't have as much fun actually playing as I though I would, maybe the digging is a little too slow? But one of the best entries so far.
I had fun :D and this is wow for a compo, i'm amazed. First i was a bit confused while playing like the first few minutes and then it went smoothly :)

I have no words, the game is just incredible. The music, the graphics, the atmosphere, the whole concept and UX, everything is as perfect as it could be. The game is just a slightly bit slow; either the upgrades are too exepensive or we should have ways to obtain ores a bit faster.
It's by far the best game I've seen for this edition.
Insanely polished, love the adorable graphics (especially the bunny)! However this might be because I'm a noob, but I skipped combat quite a bit despite the work put into it to maximize depth and money. I also feel like runs depend a little too much on the RNG of torches appearing.
Those are very anal complaints, because it's quite fun overall. Amazing job!!

I didn't have the time to do the balancing tweaks at the end of the compo, so the game's pace could definitely be improved. - @martynas @the-baldur I got up early but managed to sleep well both days. Unity is my daily tool so I know how to hack my way through it to make ~~broken~~ prototypes efficiently. As usual, I'll post a Compo post mortem in the next few days explaining the process! - @plusminus thanks for pointing that out! just fixed it.

This is amazing. As elzach said, combat takes a lot of time and is mostly waiting, which is somewhat at odds with the basic gameplay and digging, where you have the torch-timer and a need to be efficient with your time. But that's tweakable, overall this is fantastic!

Just wow. Absolutely amazing! This is not a jam game. This is a done and polished masterpiece. Motherload was a game I absolutely grinded together with my brother when we were kids so this is right down my alley. The theme song is in stuck in my head, it has nice balance to my taste and is fun to both dig and combat the bats. Efficient Torch II didnt go green for me on purchase. Also, diamond spanws could be increased a bit - I went all the way to the bottom multiple times and didnt find a single one. Only saw one diamond on my very first run and didnt get it since I was short on the torch. This made me a bit stuck to progress along the tech tree. But nevertheless this game gave me a solid 45 minutes of gameplay which i really enjoyed! So good. Looking forward to playing it some more.
EDIT:
After playing some more I finally found a diamond! Also discovered a couple of bugs. Triggering a bomb and going into combat immediately after doesnt take damage from the bomb. Standing next to a block, facing left/right and spamming A-S/A-D lets you mine 2 blocks at once - direct down and then left/right. Perhaps this is intentional.

Such a fun game - you did an amazing job! Played for probably 30 minutes and had a blast. Had to guess a bit when combat came up (you press the up arrown to attack right? Or at least that's what worked for me) but that may just be because I missed something in there. Incredible level of polish, though! Really love this one
Really nice game. It was very hard to find the diamonds. Maybe there should have been an diamond when you reach the end of the cave. It was really nice to such a polished game from the itch.io page background to the really nice art. The only bug i noticed was that in the tech tree the most right building upgrade 2 on the left does not indicate correctly that you bought it.

Great job on the overall vibe and polish. Really impressive for 48h.
The game, however, feels a bit unfinished. I was able to reach the bottom consistently with only about half of the upgrades. There doesn't really seem to be an end of the game, unless I am missing something. I was even able to dig through the bedrock, only to find out I ended up being stuck. Also, I understand that more enemy types were planned but you didn't make them in time, but that aspect of the game feels a bit unfinished too.
One thing that really bothered me were the combat animation times. The animation that tells me I got 3 gold (the same 3 gold I get from every other space) takes 5 seconds to complete, and is completely unskippable. I ended up avoiding combat not because I would not be able to finish it, but only for the long animation times. That definitely didn't feel correct.
You sure you did this in 48 hours? Very well made!
I love this game. Seriously, its perfect. 5's across the board.

This game is fantastic! Honestly so impressed. The _only_ suggestion is a pause mechanic and the music could be a bit less repetitive. I would have loved to keep the music on especially with it being timed to the digging _(nice touch)_ but it was a bit too much of the same for me. Regardless, wonderful game!!
I'm sorry... this was a COMPO GAME? HOW!? IT'S SO POLISHED!! Rogue-lite dig dug is a concept my team also toyed with and seeing your results I'm almost sad we didn't pursue that idea lol. There's no way we could have compared to your game though! This is legitimately super fun! It's probably a good thing that itch.io is blocked on my work VPN :P

This is cute AF. It's straight up nuts how much you were able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. Very well done! I liked the idea of monster blocks that bring up fights. I wasn't expecting that!

I love the dungeon crawling and hauling idea. I think it would be really cool with weapons and armor and some kind of endless mode or campaign. But it's already great for what it is.

Realy good game. Mechanics can easily be expanded to a full game! Graphics is nice and cute. Music and sound design is excelent. A bit of repetitive battles, so you end up trying to avoid them. But it's okay and perfectly fit's gameplay of mining game. Also this :) 1.png Anyways, it's one of the best i've seen there. Congratulations!

To answer a few questions:
- @amolker : thanks for reporting it! I just fixed it :) - @abigailcorfman : you actually have to press the Up Arrow/W key (or Z if you have an AZERTY) to hit monsters above you. I agree it lacks explanation. Sorry about that! - @anshul-k : I made a system in which I can design "patches" of blocks to create interesting situations (e.g. a gem surrounded by monsters). Then these patches are randomly assembled. I have different patches with different spawn probabilities according to the depth you're at (e.g. hard, purple blocks only appear starting 45m deep). Honestly, it's not well balanced, and I didn't have time to create many patches :( but the system is easily expandable upon! I'll talk more about it in a post-mortem blogpost. - @sirkovitch i <3 u

Regarding the comments about how I made this in 48h, as a disclaimer I'm an indie dev, I've been making jams regularly for several years and I have a background in art. All of these make it so that I'm fairly effective when it comes to prototyping stuff fast, even though it's quite broken if you look under the hood haha.
Since I scoped small for [my previous entry]("https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/glitch-loop"), I decided to challenge myself for LD48 with a larger scope. Had to cut down a few things still (enemies & blocks), but I still managed to get the general idea. Hope you'll enjoy the game!

I really enjoyed this game a lot! It's really addicting! The art and music are amazing and I really enjoy the mechanics and the gameplay, really makes you want to play again and again! Like others said, I bet it would be really cool if there was an endless run option! Definitly looking forward to more, and perhaps maybe future updates on the game!

A very polished game! Love the cute aesthetic and bunny character. The combat was clever in how it recontextualized the movement controls, though the rewards were meager enough that I usually just skipped it as much as possible. I like how the torch mechanic forces you to speed up and weigh the option of returning early, though it became a non-issue after just a few upgrades. I wound up playing until I got all of the upgrades, though it got a bit stale and repetitive by the end. But, overall, I enjoyed my experience with this game quite a bit. Nice work!

I think the combat had some bugs in it. I could hit the air and suddenly a bat died. If I wouldn't hit the air, the bats would also not fly to a new position, being stuck at the sides.

I concede my loss. This game actually made me feel better now. I'm glad you made this game just so it puts things into perspective. Wonderful job. Art, music too, and I didn't think to make a gameplay like this.
If you want to know what I'm talking about check out my game. I did something similar and "failed." But your game inspired me and taught me what makes a game grabs people's hearts. And honestly I feel like this is something I can aspire to. So thank you for the encouragement. I'm afraid there's no such thing as a next compo anymore so I may not be able to live up to it in this jam, but I'll keep this moment in mind in my later jams and all subsequent works.
As for the gameplay itself, I reached the end of the mine 7 times and I filled out the skill tree. I think that explains everything. I did avoid the fights as much as I can and bombs were easy to evade but that's about it. I had fun and moreso I had an experience.

I really like this game ! The graphics are cute and the music is cool. I had so much fun and i'll continue to play later ! I particularly like the combat system but i join the opinion that it is too repetitive if you play too much.

Such a smooth and fun game! The graphics are extremely nice and polished, and the music is a pleasant jam that's easy to listen to on repeat - you did incredibly with them for the time span! Descending felt very smooth and natural, and though I didn't realize you were supposed to use the shafts to get back up the first two times I descended, I pretty quickly realized there was a way to get back up to the top alive. The town, the rabbit, and the combat all have an excellent charm to them, and I could absolutely easily see this being moved to a phone game or something of the likes - it's very satisfying to play!
I did wish while I was playing that I would get the resources from whatever the bombs blew up - without that, and given I could mine through blocks about as fast as a bomb could explode, I almost never felt the need or desire to interact with them, and they were never blocking my path so wholly that I had to. I think allowing them to drop the resources from the blocks around them would cause more incentive to interact with them, causing players to have to wrangle with them more.
I also ended up not interacting with the combat system much for the same reasons, given there's nothing in combat for you to get that you can't get while mining already - it was an absolutely charming system, and I'd love to see more incentive to use it either through unique drops (or enforced entire lines of monsters such that there's really no way around them!)
The torch and pickaxe upgrades also felt really good to use - though I had no concerns getting to the bottom after getting the second tier pickaxe, I absolutely kept playing until I got to the top tier just to see how fast it could go! they were really rewarding trees.
Maybe it's because I didn't use combat or bombs much, but the other trees felt much less impactful. What I would have loved to see would have been a finalized upgrade to the bomb tree that made you immune to bomb damage so you could, after enough upgrades, mine through them without a care.
Ultimately - excellent work! It's a beautiful game that's very enjoyable to play, and though I understand where it needed to end from the perspective of a game jam, I found myself slightly sad when I got the final upgrade that I couldn't pick through the bedrock at the bottom of the mine for ~secret bonus content~ - I'd love to see that implemented some day! ☆☆☆☆☆

Amazing accomplishment in the time given. Repeatedly pressing keys to mine got a bit tiring after a few minutes, so being able to hold the keys, or even press space bar to repeat the last direction, could be a nice feature to add. Once again, an insanely polished game to make in so little time.

Itch page and game art looks great, sounds are good and the gameplay is a lot of fun! Arrows/WASD work well for this game and feel good to use.

Immediately hooked! Great music and simple yet addictive gameplay. The page is also nicely laid out, the sign of a pro. There was one thing, maybe intentional, the delay after landing on the tile below before you start smashing buttons again. That was a tiny bit annoying but didn't detract from the overall experience.

loved it! could play it for hours. There is a visual bug: when in combat, sometimes, when you hit an empty space, you see a bat dieing, though there was no one in that spot. Anyway, great game, loved it!

Yeah, I mean, this is like the quintessential game jam game, a very compact but stellar game loop with progression to keep you playing for more, and with very nice a consistent graphics & audio style.
And it's a compo game! Controls are a tad bit stiff or janky, but to have made all this by yourself in two days is ridiculously cool! Huge props to you!

Very polished and fun game! I loved the graphics and the music/sounds, the gameplay is pretty unique too!
The only problems in my opinion are the battles, which are not very rewarding and I mostly try to avoid them, and the spam mechanic. My fingers started to hurt after a while. It's a great idea, but maybe add something in the skill tree to auto-click at some point!

Incredibly polished - very attractive art, coherent music, on point with the theme, gameplay interesting and intuitive. Gets repetitive after a couple of runs, and it's quite easy - given more time, content and tuning I feel this could be a very tight and fun game.

so full for 48 hours, I hope you slept anyway ^^ in any case well done, because graphically the game is super clean and consistent. The game uses known mechanics but with a lot of freshness. The combat phases in addition to the descent will allow the "farmers" to scratch a maximum of supply without losing a torch, which adds a second way to understand the game. this game is /ridiculously/ polished, holy shit - amazing job getting everything done by yourself in 48 hours. this game is so addicting i could easily see myself sinking 3+ hours in a single session if the mine went a little deeper. that's actually my only piece of criticism - the game feels very short for the amount of progression available via the tech tree. overall though, amazing stuff.

Amazing art style and level of polish. Very curious to know what you started with to achieve this polish within 48 hours. Let us know. I found the constant battles against bats to be frustrating for 2 reasons: (1) repetitive, and (2) the wait time before (about 1.5 seconds) and after (about 2.5 seconds) each battle. It's just waiting - never fun. I would say make the battle start instantly. Also, remove the "winner" and score popup to show what you gained after the battle. Just indicate you got something with a chime and go straight back to gameplay.
The fact that you delivered such an amazingly polished, beautiful, fun, and interesting game in 48 hours is a marvel.

Wow, very impressive. The art is amazing and it feels lika a finished game.
Outstanding execution! Only two points of feedback: - The death/end-of-run screen should be skippable or faster. - When reaching a new level, the dig button seems to be disabled for (roughly) a quarter second. This may have been by design, but without an animation of the bunny recovering, it feels like the game is not responsive for that moment.

What a well done variation on the mining concept. You did everything right when it comes to expanding on the core gameplay. The economy forces you to actually get further rather than just grind out the easy sections up top. The fact that exit shafts become more spread out as you get further adds a lot to the tension as you push your luck and try not to die. I know people are raving about the art (deservedly so), but there is a lot to say about your understanding of how to keep the player interested. Awesome job!

Amazing game! Very fun, highly polished and the gameplay loop of die/elevator and try again was super well implemented! I think the randomization could be a bit cruel as Ive been doomed by no branch spawning, yet I also fluked into the bottom pretty early on with few upgrades; just a very convenient arrangement of tiles (lots of brown rock and branches). Even after that I still tried again, thats how good the game is xD. Great game, Seems like a winner!

Not sure if I can say something that hasn't been said already, but this is great. The game design choices are on point. There is the "interesting choice" of choosing where to go when mining, like "do I go for a torch or this nice bunch of gems to the side", as well as the choice of what to upgrade, and the choice of "do I go back up the elevator or keep going"... That's what makes games interesting in my opinion, and this game nails it. Well done. The art, sounds and everything else is fantastic too of course.

Amazing game! Played if for like an hour! Here are a few things that I noticed. Maybe they can help you improve the game even more: - when sound is muted, the bomb sound still appears - in a combat it is only possible to attack when a bat is above. The first time I was in a combat I needed to restart the whole game bc I did not know what to do. It would be cool, that I can always attack the above unless if there is a bat above - in the skill tree, the 'Efficient torch 2' does not change color when bought - it would be cool in further releases that I can play in a different mine when I reached the ground I hope this helps! Amazing job and really cool and fun game :)

@zakamana There's one "game breaking" glitch. You can dig basically 2x faster by using WASD and arrows at the same time, as well as some other little bugs - one upgrade with torch gets buggy, sometimes first attack in battle spawns dead bat sprite. Gameplay also need some improvements imo, it gets boring quickly.
I know this comment may sound negatively, but for top level games like this one, I think it's better to give useful feedback on how to improve it even more, rather than praising it to the stars, because potential is great and there's still a lot to polish.
Super cool game. I like the rogue-lite feel and the combat system. Enemies could have an anticipation of their attacks to help the combat be more intuitive. Awesome entry.

This entry it's just impressive. The visuals are incredible, the audio is fun and catchy and the gameplay is addictive and polished. I'm amazed that this is a compo entry.
The only thing that I didn't like is that my fingers hurted after playing for a long period, but I think that changing the input to "pressed" could affect the gameplay in a negative way.

So far this is one of my top LD48 games. So cute and adorable. The controls are great. Combat is simple, but challenging. Music is so hoppy! Just a well done and polished game over all.

Thanks everyone for playing the game and giving constructive feedback :) I've fixed additional bugs according to what you mentioned: - bombs' sound is now muted properly when the mute key is pressed - all upgrades now properly turn green when bought - you can't mine faster by using both arrows and WASD anymore - there shouldn't be anymore visual bugs with the bats (I hope)
I didn't put the "hold the button to mine" thing (even though I think everyone is right, it'd be a cool thing to have) because it feels a bit too much like a new feature instead of a bugfix, and I don't want to change the compo version.

This is such a good game, you can tell at first glance it's going to be one of the winners.
Everything works so well, the art is cute, the animations are funny, the gameplay is polished, the sounds and music fit perfectly. Even the itch page is nice to look at.
I have just one small suggestion: It would be nice if you could hold the button to dig instead of spamming it, my hands start to get a bit sore after a while.

Great game! Art enchanted me! The gameplay is simple and fun. At first I didn't quite understand how the monster blocks worked. Then I was able to understand. The music is very well produced. A little repetitive, but as it is done well it does not interfere. I was just a little disappointed that the game didn't have a small ending. I thought that by getting the super pick I would be able to drill the black blocks at the bottom of the well.

@dhim Hi! well I don't really have time to make many commits & set up a github during a ludum so that's how I usually do. In regular circumstances, I'd definitely do commits at least twice a day, but I also wouldn't do this game in 48h, I'd take time to code stuff properly. Since I work alone on my games Github is mostly a save and sync tool between my computers.

I love everything in this game, I almost can't believe it's a compo game! The art direction and the sound design feels great and the gameplay loop is f-ing addictive, and the game as a rythm that works very well, definitely one of the best entry I've played so far during the event! I just noticed something that maybe is a bug, when I hit a block on the right after digging under me, if the block above the one I mine is an ennemy block I sometimes get in the fight (but it happened only a few time)
Anyway I'm a bit admirative to see what you achieved, well done!

As other commenters have noted, this is insanely polished for a compo game. Sound design is top notch. All the interfaces stuff looks super sleek and intuitive. I especially like the work you did on the skill tree. Combat feels kind of tacked on, but I can't believe you fleshed it out as much as you did in the alloted time. Great job overall!

Impressive entry, especially for a compo game! There's a lot of really polished content, great graphics and catchy music.
The dig -> upgrade loot makes it super engaging and gives you that "ok, one more run and I'll go" (and suddenly it's morning) vibes that together with the urge to dig deeper can get you really hooked.

Very impressive to bang out such a complete and polished game. The visuals are cute and very well designed. Great cartoony graphics with beautiful, well chosen colours. Only thing I was missing was a final goal or ending to play towards. Reaching the bottom of the pit felt a little unsatisfying because there wasn't actually anything there. And I guess it would be cool if at least one diamond was guaranteed to spawn per playthrough since they're so important to the upgrade trees.
Other than those two nitpicks, it's a fantastic entry, deserving of all the attention :)

This is stupidly well polished! Most game jam entries don't even get around to adding a menu, let alone a full skill tree, complete with bouncy UI animations and transitions. Hard to believe this was made in 48 hours. Looks like several weeks of work.

Went back later and played again (off stream). Managed to make it all the way to the bottom without finding any diamonds, but the next run I found 3 -- might be good to have a guarantee of at least 1 diamond per mine (possible I just missed it if there was one. I was focused on grabbing torches).
I like that the game had a bit of a challenge to it, but it was very forgiving. Once I figured out the mechanics, I was able to breeze through it, but it felt good just starting out. Could be expanded to have more difficult challenges later if you continue to work on it. A lot of the digging games like this I played didn't really have any threat -- you just dig and dig until it's over. Good work!

Extremely polished game, definitely one of the best I've seen so far. The music and artwork is amazing, almost crossI did find it to be far too easy. I only progressed to the upgrades Pickaxe II and Lucky Torch I, didn't buy anything else, and I was already able to easily and comfortably reach the very bottom. I think making torches spawn less frequently at lower depths would help with this. I never felt like the health upgrades were worth it since getting hit seems pretty rare. I avoided combat as much as possible since the rewards didn't seem worth the time invested. Maybe if the combat rewards were higher, but your torchlight still drained while in combat, it'd be a more interesting risk-reward decision.
Also, making the dig action have essentially zero cooldown, and not having a way to simply hold a direction to dig, has two major problems. First, it's not very accessible to people with motor skill issues, who might have trouble pressing a button that fast. Second, mashing that fast can cause injury if done for a prolonged period of time. I think you should focus more on the upgrades, allow players to hold a direction to repeat actions, and set a cooldown on actions so players don't need to mash. Mashing is okay to use infrequently, but this game expects it to be done constantly for minutes on end. And even if mashing is infrequently required, it's best to have an option to swap to a hold input.
Overall though, fantastic work!

Great game! The overall aesthetics is amazing (only thing I would perhaps change would be adding a little more variation for the music, maybe changing it based on how deep you are), solid gameplay. Only thing I was hoping was to find something special at the end, or it being a endless game, with many other upgrades, but this would be too much to ask in such a short time. But really, amazing game!

Well, it looks like our game but you made it better, so how can I say something bad ? XD The music is a bit repetitive, maybe you could adapt it with the depth. It lacks an endgame, and at the end the game is pretty easy. The graphics are cool, the battle system is original. Nice work :)

I loved this, cute and wonderful art style, music that didn't get on my nerves no matter how long it repeated, and interesting mechanics. I ended up hunting for the combat encounters because of my fully upgraded damage, making quick work of bats! Shame that after hitting 198m a few times the progression stops, and there isn't much more to do. But still, a nice distraction and enjoyable game.

This game is so polished that it's hard to believe it was created for a game jam! The graphics, sound effects, music, gameplay... wow! My only complaint amongst the plethora of compliments is that my hand got tired of smashing the keys to dig :D Being able to hold down a key would go a long way. I highly suggest you consider continuing with this game because this is incredibly well done!

That's a cool game! Audio, graphics are very good. If I met this game without context, I would think that this game was made by team.
Short and sweet! Wish there was a little something at the end, or some more interesting upgrades, and the combat was pretty tedious and skippable, but nice job on a good compo game!

Wow. This is the most fun I've had with a game in a little while. Let alone a Ludum Dare game. Everything was awesome, graphics, theme, audio. Even the menus looked great.
My only gripe is that I got to the bottom after buying only 2 upgrades. I think this is mostly because I didn't see the exits on the side of the map until I got to the bottom. Anyway I would love to see this game with more levels. Excellent work.
Also I would love to know more about the process you go through to make something of this quality so fast.

This is so good! Incredibly polished and lots of fun, had to stop so I have time to play other games too, but I could definitely have played more! 🤩 Music is great and gets stuck in your head, graphics also great, and using only the directional keys within the game also for fighting and the elevator works really well, almost wish I could control the upgrades using them too. 👀 Would have been a lot of fun even without the upgrades, so they're a fantastic bonus. Super solid!
Wow. I think we have a winner. I doubt I can add much that other folks haven't already said, so I'll just say thank you for giving me a fun game to play for an hour on my Sunday morning. I can think of a bunch of fun ways to extend this, and I'm sure you can too, which is a sign of how solid this foundation is. I really enjoyed this and played until I had purchased every upgrade. Really well done, great job!
Wow! What a very polished and clean game. All the components are there and they work so well together. The sprite work is beautiful, the sound effects work well, the music is perfect for the game, even the light of the torch slowly dying it a very nice touch. If I didn't know any better, I would say this is a game I found on the app store. :P Nicely done!

Very solid roguelite! Good progression making even bad runs useful for something was fun. Incredibly polished graphics and feel for a jam game.
The combat was fun but there wasn't really any incentive to do it, so it mainly served the same as bombs and were just obstacles to dig around. It also felt like you could almost always dig around stuff without too much of an effort, and then it was more of a endurance run with some luck thrown in on how far you could get. Maybe some e.g. Mr. Driller style falling blocks and more "dig physics" could have made these more challenging and unavoidable.

I echo every positive sentiment mentioned here. Outstanding game. I'm grateful for your LD47 debrief on Glitch Loop, or I might not have believed you could make something like this from scratch, by yourself, and in 48 hours. But I believe you! Your process works!
Side note, I think a fun approach to playing this is to use both WASD and the Arrow keys to "button mash" a direction by alternating pressing them. I believe it helped me dig a lot faster than I otherwise could have.

Amazing entry, fun to play, gorgeous to look at and really addictive with a great push your luck design.
The only thing I feel is missing is some sound effects especially for the UI to add that little bit more juice!

Amazing jam game. Everything works perfectly, the atmosphere and theme use was great. The upgrade system was a delightful addition to an already deep enough game. Helen says the bunny was cute. Amazing job!

This is just super polished and fun! I do want to mention that the keyboard-mashing gameplay gets a bit tedious, and on the other hand the combat kind of breaks the pace, because in the combat it's not necessarily beneficial to try to go as fast as you can since the torch stops burning out. Still, those are kind of just nitpicks, but maybe something to address if you want to make this into a product.

The graphism are really great and cute. I amzed by the quantity and quality of the works done by you in such a short time. I really enjoyed to play it until the end and the song is stuck in my head ^^
Very fun! It was well-balanced at the start, but it seems like it could use some additional twists/challenges as you unlock more things. But very fun! I played for much longer than I was planning... I love the art and music. And bunnies are always great.

Beautiful art, nice animations, good sounds, cheerful music and satisfying gameplay together create a very strong core. And then there is good looking UI, progress indicator, tutorial, it just has all the nice touches. And so much content - 4 resource types, skill tree, even a combat minigame! Amazing game!
