Cool idea but the feeding and watering dont seem to do alot. Also i got a bug where it said i won even though i was eaten...? Other than that, cool!

Love it!!! This is a evil-genius/alien problem simulator with it's on automated help service! really nice game.
Like the idea but it needs some tweaking, like the jump and the way the cubes behave sometimes.
Nice game with good graphics, the sharp contrast between hd and pixel art is nice. The only thing to tweak is the length of the game.
Akward hiboxes and it is not really clear where you can go and where you can't.
Very nice game! The "next-level" system is a bit confusing at the start. It's nice to have a game that is challanging without being broken or glitched.

Nice concept but i will have to agree with you that it doesn't really feel finished. Good attempt of making a turn based game.
Nice game! Really like the fact that the damage changes depending on the cone that you shoot. Overall nice sounds and nice and clean graphics but i feel like you need some kind of overheating or energy limit otherwise you can just camp in the survival mode and pretty much get an unlimited score...!
Nice art-style and a funny idea. Had some problems getting it to work on the page but the standalone worked. I also like that the level gets randomized each time you start.

@Finn The lighting is basicly a dark gray surface that is drawn over the view. The lights then create white/yellow circles on that surface and merges that with the surface.
Also the key to fighting is kiting ;) attack -> turn and walk -> turn -> attack and repeat.

Nice concept! The whole concept of having the swatches as weapons is nice but the movement and color switching is still lacking a little bit.

Nice work! Really cool graphics (love the reflections in the bots body!!!). the AI isnt perfect but i didn't expect it to be. Overall a good and fun game.
Love the graphics and animations. The only thing i would tweak is the length of the days, they are a little bit to short in my mind.

"Toaster!"*Epic voice* :D Love that! Really nice sound and the cool lights/shadows on the maps. Something that feels wrong is the time that the toasts stay after that you have fired them. Also the enemies seem to stop moving if they get hurt. Good game!
Nice idea but it doesn't give alot of gameplay. Graphics are as good as can be expected from a ludum dare game. The animation of the people walking is nice and fluid. This game lacks alot but it could be good with a little bit more content.
Has potential but it lacks a tutorial or any kind of instructions. You might have to consider lowering the difficulty.
A completely playable game but it lacks alot of things. The energy is very limited and the damage that the enemies deal is just pathetic, i stod there and tanked the damage for atleast 30 sec :/

Nice little game with a nice multiplayer possibility. Would have liked a possibility to have some AIs for those that don't have someone else to test the game with and some more levels.
Intresting mechanic. It's nice that it actually is so simple but so powerfull. I had some trouble with the jumping and lasering animations making me get stuck in the walls and the jump doesn't always work when you walk on spikes in soul mode. Overall a nice game!
Hahahaha, nice! a llama simulator :) Like the concept and execution but i think you should add a better collision between the player and the snowmen(?!).

nice idea with a lot of possiblilties. In my eyes the game window itself is way too small, it's like I'm controlling ants. The problem with the clicking event is really anoying. Overall a nice idea.
Great idea! Graphics are Ok but i think the movment needs some tweaking, don't like the way you keep moving to the sides when you are mid-air.

I'm not able to play it :C The website throws an error at me and then it loads the game. When the game is loaded i see the menu but it doesn't respond to the spacebar. But it looks really good
Cool idea and the car physics are better than other that i've seen today. Although the steering is inverted while driving backwards (I thik that is just a matter of how one thinks about steering). I had some issues with the trailers flying away.... and the trailers accelerated on their own, somehow.
Hm, nice art style and story but the collision is rather frustrating. Would also benefit from the ability to hit downwards and upwards. Still a nice game!
Hmm...intresting concept. though it feels very repetitive and punishing. Maybe makeing the towers "perma"-die would give it a bit more flow.
Took me a while to figure out that you were supposed to click on the loading screen but after that it was a really funny little game. Credits for the cool audio.
Nice! The concept is a little bit more original and the gameplay is solid. I would maybe have added an HP bar that goes down when you hit rocks and stuff.

It is cool to see more and more 3d games in LD but they always come at a price of gameplay and and mechanics. Cool little game! The lighting sets a good overall mood but the interaction between player and civillians(?) should be more clear, maybe a simple particle effect would do.
Nice game! It has an element that many entries lack: Progression. Would have been nice with some more tank variants. Overall a solid game!
The controls feel wrong, you get stuck on every wall you touch and you cant move diagonally. I also had trouble with the wall breaking action especially beacause you have to destroy two blocks next to each other. Could be a really nice game but it needs to be polished.

Thank you for the feedback so far! I'm sorry about the typos, my english is far from flawless. A friend of mine already pointed out the thing about the text showing up when pressing Ctrl+Alt or Ctrl+A but I consider it to be a minor issue.
Oh and that the text sometimes is outside of the frame bugged me for a long time and i have not found a perfect solution yet... ...just use the "web" link for now, it should be fine there.

AWESOME!! Love the papery art style and the voic acting/music is top of the Ludum Dare line. Would not surprise me if this makes it to the top 10 or 50!
Well...M.O.N.S.T.E.R... yeah. I like this completely different approach. Would have been nice with a bit more gravity and maybe a lower point of weight on the car.
Nice idea, but the controls are somewhat odd. The jump is kind of inaccurate but i guess that wasn't the main focus. Going back to your boss gets kind of boring after a time.
Stunning graphics! Would have loved some kind of scoring or something and maybe reduce the "fuzzy" filter in the menu, other than that, brilliant!
Hmmm, yeah really hard to do with the keyboard. Intresting idea and the multiplayer function is nice. I like the art and the design of the ships.
My only real complaint would be that the menu buttons are very unresponsive.

The story is kind of funny and the gameplay is too, but i would love to see a button to instantly go to the meeting, instead of the codex.
Really like the "snake" style gameplay. The graphics are nice and I did not encounter any control issues. Something that i would like to see is the ability to regain "bodies", maybe every 20 kills or so.

Wonderful little game! Even cooler once I realised it's a compo game, well done! Could really see this work well on a mobile or tablet screen.

This is awesome! Instantly reminded me of the fire spirit from the moving castle, cute and always hungry :smile: Well done on helping the player get a feel how the fire is doing by pitching the music. Though I would like to be able to remove "building" once their output becomes obsolete
Great game but the enemies spawn way to fast.
Music appears to be broken for me as it's played at 2 - 3x speed with horrible clipping. Tested in both chrome and firefox. Looks great though!

Well done on your first entry! I've come across a few of the "keep the fire alive" games already today but aiming with the mouse and using the logs for both fuel and defence is a nice touch. Keep it up!
Great graphics! Though i think some limitations of your powers (boosting and shooting) would have made it more engaging as right now the only thing that killed me were enemies that spawned on top of me. Well done!

The graphics look really nice but I would have liked a more complex core game loop. Maybe a different enemy type or some kind of weapon powerup. Other than that, well done!
Cute looking game but feel like i've seen these assets before, credits to the maker of the art would be good. Also you might want to look into improving your colliders, unity has quite a good system for that AFAIK.
Love the voice acting but couldn't quite figure out how the maze thing worked with everything else going on :D

@Karas Thank you for playing and reviewing! A hint regardning the spells and doors has been added but the lag in the second room is probably due to the spider objects having a memory leak or a rouge "while" loop taking longer than expected. Considering that my code looks worse than an Italian pasta buffet gone wild, I'll probably not be able to fix that any time soon.
@fabula-rasa Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the brother's pickup system (especially the firey one ;) ) as sadly that is something that was mostly lost during the level design. Also an inventory was in my mind for the longest of times but then time caught up and ruined everything.
@WhyNotYT Yeah...there is a loop in the code that is eating a bunch of frame time. I'm working on finding a less demanding solution for that.

Simple and sweet game, would have liked some more way to deal with enemies once you are on the same floor as them though.
Cute story and solid mechanics! The placing of the tunnels felt a bit clunky at times and a way to remove a placed piece would have been nice but other than that, well done!
Great graphics but even for a space game the controls felt a bit too floaty/weak for my taste.
For science! The mechanic is easy to grasp but evidently difficult to master as seen from the leaderboard. My only complaints would be that it doesn't feel like the difficulty is ramping up throughout the game and that the braking effect of the thruster charging feels kinda wierd (too strong) to me.
Oh and the graphics are gorgeous! Can't put my finger on what they remind me of but they fit in perfectly!
Wow, this is really impressive! Great mechanics and sweet soundtrack. My only critique would be that it's obvious from the start that you can use the ladders to get home again. Understood it on the second try though
Solid and fun game loop the timer really makes this work. Purple feels a bit to close to blue and it took me a second to get that purple is indestructible. Lastly the coin sound was quite harsh so having a way to turn down the volume would be great. Well done overall!

We sadly had to pull the sountrack from the main game right before release as we all thought it would hurt the overall expirience more than add to it. We are working on a patch though so for those that tolerate such things there will be an option to play an updated version too.
I like the concept but the rythm based movement felt a bit too clunky/slow for me. Impressive job finishing a 3d game for LD though!
Great mechanics and overall impressive polish! The game did however freeze twice on me (web version, chrome) once after death and once totally randomly on lv 5 so I didn't get to expirience the entire game.
Took a few tries to understand the mechanics but once I understood them the game was awesome! Stressful at times but not in a punishing way, well done!
Love the upgrade mechanics and well done on the wall jumping mechanics! I think this could become really good with a bit more art and movement polish.
Clear graphics and easy to grasp mechanics. Would have liked some motivation to be somewhere else than the middle as the edges always felt like a risk without a reward. Still, well done!
Mechanics and visuals are really solid. I think dying from a single touch is a bit too punishing, especially given how little the player can do againts the enemies. Finally, a little tiny bit of sound/music would make it feel way more polished but overall and given that it is your first jam, well done!
A sweet little game! the art is clean and the mechanics easy to grasp. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no way of knowing if you are jumping into a pit with spikes or progressing down the right path. Maybe zooming out a bit would have fixed this and prevented some puzzles from being "spam all the projectiles and hope one hits". Great job on making a solid compo game!
The color shooting mechanic is super cool but I feel like the game loop could have benefited from some kind of restriction on how many shots you have. Other than that the game is solid!
