Very solid puzzle idea. Last level took sime time for me. I really loved the mechanic! At irst i thought locking rooms are kinda OP. But at late levels i saw that was needed. Anyways keep up good work!

it is pretty hard, but also a lot of fun. Good game mechanics!
Really neat idea! There are things in this game that added to the overall mood, such as naming each individual character. However, I couldn't figure out how to move the character when another one entered as the move button wouldn't work.

@Anaglyph, that is odd, the only time you shouldn't be able to move is if the room is locked or the player hasn't started yet or is dead. Are there steps that can recreate this?
A very unique puzzle game, and a cool title screen to boot!
One day I learn to play this. One day I understand the game mechanics. One day...
Anyway, a good game with an interesting (and pretty original) concept.
This is clever. A simple system with simple rules, and very tricky to figure out, but also very fair, so you don't get too frustrated.
An easier level or two just to start the player off and ease into the mechanics would be a good addition post compo. Right now it kinda feels like you're thrown right into the deep end, and it took me quite a few goes to figure everything out, even with the instructions.
The random names are a nice touch. I got Kevin Bacon one time. :)
Sorry about the challenge, a majority of the mechanics changed in the last hour of the competition, but I should have been better about keeping the new player's perspective in mind.

Really cool puzzle game! Has a certain difficulty and you really have to think about your next move. Also dead on the theme!

Love this game! Good mechanics and good implementation! I only have first level slightly easier, to get the mechanics correctly -or a tutorial-
This is an essentially perfect example of hitting the mark on all points. I would have liked to have seen a little more visual flair/polish, but as for the core mechanics and overall design, you killed it, man.
As Yatedog said, you hit an excellent medium between difficult and fair. The only knock against the game in it's current state that I think would be valid is the fact that it was REALLY fun trying to figure out the first two levels but there wasn't enough variety in gameplay to hold me after that.

Literally no idea what I was doing wrong, sometimes I'd move room but nope, someone shot me. Do people remember? Can I not go back to rooms I vomited in? Everyone looks the same though? What's going on?! It's good, but very confusing :P
Very cool idea, I wanted to make something similar but opted for something different in the end.
Nice puzzle mechanic, sometimes difficult to figure out what I did wrong. I guess people moved into a room I was doing something in? I think if the hosts' movements between rooms would be animated or if they look different somehow it would make a lot of unclear situations a lot clearer.
But, nicely done.
