Nice graphics, the music is funky too. My favourite aspect is the spinning effect on the logs!

The special drops seem a bit rare. I only got 1 piece of chocolate and no coal in my 180 sec playthrough. Had fun though. I enjoyed trying to hit the fire with a log while it was offscreen.
@madbookstudios Thanks! I really appreciate you taking time to try out my game! @dnp Thank you for your feedback! I'm ecstatic to hear you enjoyed it!
I got 33 points after 146.55 seconds. This was fun! I would have liked a bit more wood, and more ghosts, so I could really fight more often.
This game is decievingly difficult. To echo the above person, trying to hit the fire with logs from offscreen while you're running is quite a fun challenge!
this is awesome and the spinning be like LMAO
@ubershmekel @gnd95 @honest Thanks so much for all the feedback and complements! I appreciate it a lot!
i like this it
The throwing mechanic adds a lot of spice, fun game!
@mehrdadsh @willoftw Thanks for playing! This being my first game, it makes me really happy to know people like it!
Great first entry! I managed to survive for three minutes :P Music was top notch!
@pabricka Thanks! I appreciate it!
Nice graphics and sound. I like that the logs are your weapons and source for the fire. But after some time the fire burned down pretty quick and it felt like it did nothing to feed it more wood.
the fire reminds me of Howl's Moving Castle, good job! is very pretty!
@charliegray @nekoruma Thanks! For the nice words and feedback!
Liked the font. Good job with your first entry.
@itskdog Thank you!
Got to 51 before I couldn't find any more wood! Does dropping the wood give more "fire" than throwing it on the fire? It felt like it did at least. Chocolate is really rare, only saw one piece in my longest run. Throwing kept the game well paced and mobile.
The music and the effect of the grass/path changing slightly when you got near the edge set a slightly unsettling mood. I liked that.
@nillard Thanks for your thoughts! I had originally had dropping the wood give more "fire" but throwing logs felt more fun so i decided to not punish it. The two are the same. Hope you enjoyed!
Looks, nice, graphics and sound are good for 48h. Gamplay is bit boring, but solid.
@jsec thanks for the feedback! I appreciate you taking time to play the game.
Well done on your first entry! I've come across a few of the "keep the fire alive" games already today but aiming with the mouse and using the logs for both fuel and defence is a nice touch. Keep it up!
Controls and movement felt really nice. Mechanics were simple and easy to understand. Graphics were good, I especially like the burning fire effect. The music loop was good but it was obvious when the loop started again. My best run ended when I couldn't find anymore logs to throw into the fire.
@frokes @jimanzium Thank you so much for your time and feedback! I really appreciate it
Like the concept! Very well done for your first entry
good
This has way better programmer art than my first game!
I like the idea of having the fuel also be the ammunition so you have to decide between feeding the fire and keeping the sprites away. Overall a fun game.
@team-wala @eduardogacn @hueson @taddl Thank you so much for all your feedback and nice words! :)
I read it was programmer art. um really liked the graphics and audio nice too. pretty cool mechanic so had fun. Nice for a nice quick fun play. Made for mobile :) . really liked the UI style too. although the fire blocks the how to
Nice little game here! It's surprisingly similar to the one my group made but with a different emphasis. Plays well and controls nicely. Once I sorta started figuring out how to get more wood near the flames, I was able to get pretty far. Didn't beat it, though (if there is an ending). Nice entry!
