LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Smile Corp by tinykidtoo 2017-12-07T07:25:11Z

This might be one of the most unique ones I've seen yet. Really loved the wobbly controls, and the wobbly camera made it feel even better.

Played it a few times, shaving as much time as I could. https://image.ibb.co/jcEaZb/GASGASGAS.jpg

DUI: The Game! by AfroAnt 2017-12-05T06:41:07Z

Nice effects the drunker you are. Good theme with a great gameplay implementation of it. Cops give the game a great moodswing, from laughing at your drunk self to OH SHIT THE FUZZ.

Duck Guardian by mahalis 2017-12-07T05:18:12Z

Got to level 12 and only stopped because I had a pizza in the oven... Love the graphics, theme, everything really. As the others above said, the katamari of ducks technique works a bit too well.

Wenk.

Don't Sink by alvinasiaten 2017-12-05T08:10:29Z

Agree with the others to move the player down to see the cannon balls. Thought maybe I could tell what cannon they come from and dodge from there, but doesn't seem like it.

Lucky Drop by svntax 2017-12-05T10:25:40Z

I wondered how this fit the theme at first, but soon, dang it got dark. Thought I found the perfect spot to drop it each time, but then it got worse...

Love the background and overall graphics effects.

Ultra Ninja Vs Falling Zombies II: New Hope by gaspard 2017-12-05T08:28:00Z

The build up to everything going crazy was really fun. Cool resource system (high fives). Like that the graphics are kept simple so that everything on screen has a distinct look. Running all over trying to keep one guy alive was great fun.

L.A.V.A. series L.A.M.P. edition VS THE WORLD by kazuo256 2017-12-05T07:25:24Z

Makes the player want to get further to see what they unlock next. Good graphics and music for a jam game. The bigger enemies seem to get stuck on corners often. Great presentation of info to the player with the cooldown bars and tab screen.

Food Fight by PonchoGuy 2017-12-05T09:22:13Z

Score of 110! (default settings). I may have cheated a bit in what I think is an easter egg area. Really liked that the arena wasn't just a flat box. Also the damaged enemy models were cool to see.

My character apparently couldn't take it at the end: http://oi66.tinypic.com/xgktig.jpg

The 1D107 Exterminator by Gris 2017-12-05T10:45:39Z

Didn't expect a bunch of blocks to make moody shadows! Never really got difficult. Enemies spawned slowly and your gun being out of energy didn't slow me down too much.

Lost Sakura by HellSquirrel 2017-12-05T10:31:05Z

Samurai Simon. Good art and effects. All them keys make it hard to get past 10.

Smooth Lines by yojammerjammer 2017-12-05T05:44:12Z

Laughed out loud at a few of the lines. Basic visual novel stuff but good presentation and premise. Managed to get myself slapped five times first try.

Overkiller by SubWooferX3 2017-12-07T08:58:28Z

Got to 11 barrels before I had to stop due to the slowdown all the bodies on the floor were causing. Great simple gameplay, funny mechanic, amazing music.

Ludum Dart by kbjwes77 2017-12-05T11:47:16Z

Good move color coding the text.

Manifold Complex by Thorneto 2017-12-05T07:04:52Z

Reminds me a lot of Decent. This is one of my favorites I've played so far. Multiple side paths and the perspective made it worth a few playthoughs! I found you can super spam your guns by mashing left mouse button and space.

Greedy Robot Fight by rodel77 2017-12-05T06:47:20Z

Don't know what happened with my game, but there was only ever one level (no random map as the game suggests). It seems all you need to do to win is ensure you get the first hit.

Mutation Situation by Don Fouts 2017-12-05T05:02:46Z

If you escape the stage boundaries, is that considered a win?

Mutation Situation by Don Fouts 2017-12-05T07:33:43Z

@ponchoguy You're right, especially the gun noise could've used some variation. And the volume toned down. Thank you for your feedback!

I'm tired of all your stuff by oliverlevay 2017-12-05T11:35:53Z

Got the table and the picture in. Then nothing else would fit except for small stuff. The voice clips really made this. Also laughed at an actual call timer on the phone.

Melody : Burden of Sorrow by BumiBomber 2017-12-05T10:11:01Z

The level designer really loves wall jumping. Shame the wall jump isn't as responsive as it could be. Maybe I was missing something, but there was a part where after you lose the double jump, you have to wall jump and shoot to hit a switch orb. I tried to do it for so long, and when I finally did, the barrier flung the character out of the level, crashing the game with a fatal error.

Neat idea. Good art. Would be much easier to play with a controller. Level designs' dependence on wall jumping may be a bit of a showstopper for most players. Though I did find you could Mega Man X style climb some walls... but only if they're thick enough and you're facing left.

Bring us food JAMes! by Willisika 2017-12-05T21:34:42Z

Space to talk, space to use menu, E to select, then Q to close, then space to pick up/put down item. That's quite a dance with the fingers.

Zbluch! by Mowztouch 2017-12-05T08:03:01Z

Would be neat to see a score system tied to the eating, as you can just run the little guys right to the goal. The purple guys are cool looking creatures.

Dunk Slimes by maxwaeper 2017-12-05T11:52:02Z

Took a second to realize I wasn't some ghost reaper with an axe, but a mop! Love the idea of cleaning and walls being dangerous for a fast moving player character.

IDEA! by BetaNab99 2017-12-05T08:40:30Z

Getting hit is pretty much unavoidable, but after you learn that the lightning only strikes in certain places, it becomes a lot easier. Perhaps this is a statement about inevitable distractions getting in the way of your goals?

The sprites look real good and have soul. The glitch effect is really nicely done.

Making it Hail by BalladofSong 2017-12-05T07:36:15Z

As John said, could have been zoomed out. Was always worried I was about to take a leap of faith. It seems no matter how many coins you have, the box only counts one at a time. Cute premise. Also, life's a...

Night City Challenge by makerart 2017-12-05T09:50:40Z

Very Aesthetic. Fun to find the routes and nail them. With a more consistent camera and better turning it would have been a lot easier. But that sounds more like a vehicle than a person. The player character reminds of a lego figure without a head but his helmet put back on his neck.

Unicorn Fart Jam by BeardedMoose 2017-12-05T05:09:34Z

We hit each other so hard we flew into the boundary every respawn. Lulzy take on the theme. Gameplay makes it so both players are basically trying to catch each other with a Falcon Punch. Gotta give extra points for all the audio being mouth noises :P

Delta Vee by AZealousRetort 2017-12-05T10:56:59Z

The controls make this a good challenge. Even if you corral the missiles it still gets hard. Using the boost not as speed but as a fine control method is pretty innovative.

United Parcel Force by Beard or Die 2017-12-07T05:05:27Z

I think I saw the numbers fall off a box. That got a good laugh.

Brilliance by Kobrar 2017-12-05T09:36:38Z

Love the take on the theme. Quickly becomes a muscle memory dance. Could be mapped better to make it easier on the player. Perhaps on the numpad (though I understand not all keyboards have numpads). Had to play a few times just for the challenge of how far I could ASCEND.

Starving Blue by konomizure 2017-12-05T08:54:46Z

I got 18000! When either meter is high, dang is that some pressure on the player. Makes it more fun, mashing D and hoping you can eke out a few more points. I played it multiple times to get that score! Charming sprites too. Also, are you saying that exercise and food only work when used together

Coffee Run by Canaha 2017-12-05T07:54:24Z

Had three bottles spawn at the start and I just stopped. Tried to avoid the bottles to make it more challenging. Love that only the sides of the barrels stop you and not the top too.

Hairball by instantnoedel 2017-12-05T10:18:07Z

This might be the shortest one I played yet. Silly take on the theme! Tried seeing how much hair I could fill the screen with but at 4 FPS it got a bit hard to keep it in view and growing.

LD42 — Running out of space

Iris by Galan 2018-08-18T14:17:24Z

The graphics and music set a really solid mood for this game.

Life itself by cdp_games 2018-08-20T23:29:43Z

The green balls ate the blue balls? I am confus

Baggage Claim by mgoadric 2018-08-18T12:36:04Z

Gook take on the theme! After a few rounds got a whole score of... 6. Got all stars on my first round and was a bit confused lol.

SuperTHICC by huskitch 2018-08-14T20:11:44Z

Great emulation of the style! Was inconsistent on if I could actually pick up knives or mot.

MinoFall by Ashment 2018-08-14T21:46:03Z

Got pretty far (1500 points) once I understood how to move the pieces well. Good fun!

Who Z For Dinner by talisra22 2018-08-21T02:12:27Z

Got a score of 60000 before I ran into the crash bug. My table fort was neigh-impenetrable.

Feedrun by WFMG 2018-08-14T20:27:25Z

Wasn't really clear on how to transfer the food from box to cage, then it just kind of rained down on doggo! Loved the exponential growth. Went from "Wow this room is huge" to breaking out.

Clean The Scene by breaknbake 2018-08-20T23:38:54Z

I'm not really sure when I can shoot and when I can't. Love the art. The petri dish gives a sense of depth instead of just making it look top down.

Cluttered Mind by HAUO 2018-08-14T21:13:59Z

Great art. Intuitive to figure out what to click next.

SeaLand by ntw 2018-08-14T20:18:18Z

Not really sure what to do. I filled the raft with water filters and the objective never changed. Looks great fullscreen in the browser. Great sprites and animation.

LD44 — Your life is currency

Apocarmalypse by CocaPasteque 2019-05-02T03:56:52Z

Couldn't get past the first level. Space just didn't work sometimes. D stopped working at times too. Often hitting retry, a car would already be in the fire and give me negative karma with no fault of my own. Looks good and sounds good. Nice use of the theme.

Blood Pressure by superpokeunicorn 2019-05-02T03:50:21Z

Love the graphics. Reminds me of a a very stylish DOS game.

Proton by Greg Lord 2019-04-30T18:57:31Z

Great use of the theme. The last level was fun to figure out. No audio was a little off putting but didn't hurt the game at all. Left me wanting more levels.

Gachapaw Dungeon Crawl by Don Fouts 2019-04-30T01:57:17Z

Link is up. I'm dumb and hit publish instead of save early.

Lifelight by Kromzem 2019-05-01T16:26:50Z

Between the stage border, different colored glowing eyes, and the player's sprite changing, the visual information in this game is superb.

Sick Business by very dark lord 2019-05-01T16:39:30Z

One of my favorites so far. Expected to just press a button and be done with treatment, but the minigames caught me off guard! Great mood setting moment. Found it a bit easy to make money by giving any high budget patients placebo surgeries. But hey that part could be true to life...

Big Facinating Mutants by hexkritor 2019-04-30T19:51:09Z

Right from that scream I knew exactly what to expect. Great mood setter lol.

The Underworld Underworld by Osspial 2019-05-01T18:19:07Z

Flight by gun made what would have been otherwise boring levels into fun ones.

LD45 — Start with nothing

Soulbound by ghost-in-the-toast 2019-10-09T03:05:57Z

Everything about this is good.

LD46 — Keep it alive

XCAPE by Frozen Stick 2020-04-22T23:23:03Z

Having a new weapon every stage kept it fun. I loved how enemies jumped through windows and everything kept exploding. Kept it fast and fun.

In The Flesh by LandoSystems 2020-04-22T22:19:00Z

Presentation reminds me of DOS games. Good work, liked the mechanic. Can also say this is the first time I've been punched by Glass Joe in 30 years.

The Storm by NvrSkipGameDay 2020-04-21T06:05:25Z

Very stylistic game. Love the color idea, makes you monitor the wall and think about risks. One play, I somehow got the dude's walking animation to go superspeed by jamming on Shift.

Akumachi by Fran Segura 2020-04-21T14:49:20Z

Amazing mood setting. I had to keep replaying just to see what an ending would be. Ran into a bug where if I tried to throw food while the monster was too close, he'd stomp it through the ground. Developed a tactic of sprinting away then 180ing the food into its mouth.

Jaghund Armoured Organ Delivery Service by iamscissors 2020-04-21T10:51:12Z

Reviving other robots to help you was creative and fun. I replayed the game twice, because the first time I somehow got put in the last level as my second level and beat the game in two stages.

Are We There Yet by Twistashio 2020-04-23T02:20:58Z

The slidey controls really made this dangerous. Great concept. Loved that the camera turned 180 in the menu for maximum danger.

Root Mania by Cristi Mihai 2020-04-23T02:02:29Z

Wasn't quite sure how I was supposed to stay alive. Took a second to sink in... that's the point!

Stick Ink! by Pusakiller 2020-04-21T15:05:37Z

The sprite disappearing as you lose ink is a great touch. Delayed jump took a bit to get used to. Couldn't get the door to open on level 1, but level select solved that. Well put together.

Scrap Cargo by shadow30 2020-04-22T21:29:19Z

No ending? Timer reached zero and nothing happened. Pirates also stopped happening at the 5 minute mark so maybe I ran into a bug.

Fun idea though! Clean look. Rapidly swinging my hand all around the keyboard and mouse kept it frantic and fun without being overwhelming all the way until the end.

Scrap Cargo by shadow30 2020-04-22T22:20:55Z

@shadow30 The ship just kept flying, no further incidents popped up.

UnLeeched by Jason Q 2020-04-21T09:45:23Z

Score 384! I love the visuals, especially the leech's animations and that it bleeds more the lower the health. Music was great, both tracks (or was it one track that nicely blended?). I found a "trick" of sorts, that you can fall off a ledge and jump mid air. Used that to get around a bit quicker.

Turtle Daddy by dummydojo 2020-04-21T10:06:23Z

Great... everything! Sprites, music, sound, gameplay. These kids are as suicidal as a real toddler.

The Fire Burning by Shouji 2020-04-21T06:24:47Z

Got to 51 before I couldn't find any more wood! Does dropping the wood give more "fire" than throwing it on the fire? It felt like it did at least. Chocolate is really rare, only saw one piece in my longest run. Throwing kept the game well paced and mobile.

The music and the effect of the grass/path changing slightly when you got near the edge set a slightly unsettling mood. I liked that.

Sky Sniper by FinTheFinn 2020-04-22T21:34:34Z

Still quite good for 12 hours! Some basic sound would have bumped it up a little. Reminds me of early flash games. The way he runs back and forth, I got up to 20 seconds by doing nothing!

Biorunner by purenickery 2020-04-22T09:35:37Z

ITERATION SUCCEEDED.

The sprites and lighting effects are really good. The lighting combined with the CRT filter give the game a good looking unique style. The music was varied well and did not become repetitive, good track too. Also varied was the new enemies that kept popping up. Thought I was going to get lost the way the path splits multiple times, but was able to use good ol' video game logic of "There are enemies this way, must be the right way."

Critical Freight by Nathan Wiles 2020-04-21T09:36:42Z

Fun concept, running in circles while shooting. Unfortunately I did not get to finish it despite multiple attempts. The game would crash on me at random times, never got farther than the first wave of bots before a crash. Loved that you can't see "it", really adds to the mood.

Critical Freight by Nathan Wiles 2020-04-21T17:17:46Z

@nathan-wiles I was playing on Windows build.

Mr. Cheesy by SAVVU 2020-04-23T02:34:04Z

Went all out on sticking to one theme. Took a bit to get used to his long hitbox but once I understood, I got a score of 4018. Good job!

Fire Is Life by Alex Horstman 2020-04-21T09:57:38Z

Used a tactic of getting hit to catch multiple harts and use the particles to clear rain to win. Due to the hills, this is a race against time in more ways than one.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Mr. Cheeks Sweet Dreams by MrTroy 2020-10-06T09:01:03Z

One of the more unique games I've played so far, even for how simple it is. Took me like six loops to grab everything.

Demongraft by kazuo256 2020-10-06T08:45:10Z

Love that the "enemy" isn't readily apparent. A good "oh woah" moment.

Stuck In A Loop by Dudum Lare 2020-10-07T00:39:51Z

A good amount of mechanics in such a short game, shame they didn't get more use! The paddle's hitbox not being the whole paddle (or is it?) messed me up a few times. Had to double take at the last level, it was a great mix up.

Stasis Break by 3mpty 2020-10-06T09:07:59Z

Amazing look. Cool way to start the game. Took me a few rounds to really understand the loop mechanic but got pretty far afterwards.

SubRocket by Declan 2020-10-06T09:58:54Z

I didn't quite make it to space, but I did smash into the sea floor! Before the background started darkening/lightening, I had to make a guess on if I was going up or down. Background objects for reference like fish or more clouds would have helped with that.

Beyond Death by Trypants 2020-10-06T05:35:15Z

Enough lives to brute force it, but also enough paths to get through by a little exploring. Good job on that!

RoboBlast by theforceluke 2020-10-07T00:59:21Z

Look great. Curving bullets added a bit to what you could do. If there's one suggestion I'd give it would be to make the player and enemy shots different colors. Things got crazy that last stage but not undoable at all.

Looper by Maytch 2020-10-06T05:56:34Z

The final spike pit timing was challenging. Very nice touch on the game looping back to the starting screen after finishing it. Great job on getting player made moving platforms working.

Into the Iron Mist by Griddolini 2020-10-07T02:40:24Z

Really captured that old PC game feel. Nice variety of parts. I barely made it to the end with heavy parts and after running out of all my ammo. One of my favorites so far.

Stuck in a Soup Loop by Doot 2020-10-06T23:54:41Z

This game fit the theme is three ways at once! A good example of how repetition makes memorization.

Frying Donut by fachscahfttf 2020-10-06T05:19:30Z

What a nightmare for an officer... Loved the fantastical music. Fit well with the silly mouth-made sounds. The laser beam to keep players moving was a great idea. Think I killed myself with the shotgun more than the enemies did.

Ball vs Rope: Escape from Hell by nik184 2020-10-06T10:25:42Z

I loose. Does that mean I win if I got loose?

Space Drummer by Guilloteam 2020-10-06T08:37:20Z

Great take on the theme. I was torn between tactically placing my beats and making it sound good. The color choices on the art makes everything easily identifiable and were great picks.

Getaway Portal by BiancaMello 2020-10-08T04:04:16Z

I have no idea how the healing works, but was able to exploit it until I got 40,000 points. Adjusting to the handling was fun and remembering where the enemy cars were at let me loop efficiently.

Fröggo by Loren Heubert-Aubry 2020-10-07T00:48:04Z

Never knew how hard Frogger would be without being able to see the whole board. Did not expect the "twist".

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Monkey Quest by paulloz 2021-04-28T22:23:31Z

Nice Link's Awakening inspired graphics. Using positioning and the shovel to dodge around the lizardman was much more interesting than straight attacking them.

The Squeaky Affair by bmacintosh 2021-04-29T22:23:14Z

Quite a unique puzzler with some fun twists. Very well presented. Enjoyed it the whole way through!

Outerstellar by MadHumster 2021-04-28T21:26:35Z

Clearing the "fog of war" with the light felt unique. The map was a great inclusion. Placing the first star juuuust in view of the starting point was a great decision to draw the player to the mechanics.

Fuel Run by Chase of Bass 2021-04-30T04:23:17Z

Cool unique way to jump/attack. The darkness and spots of light helped sell the theme. Wanted more since it was so short! Looked for a way to get in the door at the start thinking it would let me go "deeper".

Ludu Hare and the Magical Carrot by Mighty Mufflon Games 2021-04-30T04:11:28Z

Tight controls. Cute ending. The lights on the mole heads helped sell the deeper and deeper theme! Funny thing I found: I tried to see if I could jump as I was rolling. Ctrl+W closes a tab in Chrome. Minor, but gave me a chuckle.

LD49 — Unstable

SPLINTER(ED) (BRAIN)CELL by slimabob 2021-10-05T13:10:45Z

Love the warping effect. Cool that there's even pills around the level to grab.

My Little Monster by cdunham 2021-10-05T00:46:46Z

Had trouble getting the shower to work. Things start to tick down quite quickly! Loved the "Kaijuice"!

Unstable Gamble by rzfmzn 2021-10-05T21:07:19Z

Didn't expect to find a slot machine! Just like the slots, they keep me playing but never winning... First time ever playing a slot machine with a health bar.

The Headless Horseman by datadazer 2021-10-05T04:24:38Z

Death comes at you faster and faster with each passing moment.

Jenry Javelina by PBG 2021-10-06T00:22:50Z

A frantic game where pathing is important! The climbing mechanic is great for erring on the player's side.

Unstable Fury by Wizard 2021-10-05T19:49:14Z

Good audio. Simple enough to play right away. Those guards are mean! Liked the whole stronger=unstable thing.

Baby Panda by publicidadeba 2021-10-05T02:47:31Z

Amazing music. Bouncing made if fun to bop the panda instead of simply balancing. Looks great too.

MechaShift by MasterProject 2021-10-05T04:10:50Z

Wow, this was really good. Learning to combine powers in moderation made this a lot of fun.

Lucky Lefty Loves Landslides by TheBookSnail 2021-10-05T00:35:36Z

Simple and fun! Really cute. Building up speed to hit the arcs for the beans felt good.

Warp Glider by Koolruz 2021-10-05T01:30:08Z

Timing on some of the levels is really tight! Made for a good challenge.

Isle Of Pizza by teshimoto 2021-10-05T01:03:48Z

What a visual trip. Runs so smoothly for as good as it looks! I never found the violet box in the first part, but when I respawned I was holding it... Guess that works! Continued on after that.

Unstable Magic by DrSmey 2021-10-06T00:12:18Z

The spell charge time changing really sells the "unstable" part.

Cleaner of the Crumbling Keep by andy593 2021-10-05T20:05:26Z

Great variety of mini games! Good music and audio. One of my favorites so far.

Wayward Warlock by bradjste 2021-10-05T19:00:47Z

Thought I was never going to come back down after combining multiple bounce potions.

Tetrilibrium by Melancholia 2021-10-05T03:34:48Z

Felt like I could choose any block and win. Knocking over the blocks or dropping them so they tip helped a lot!

Brasópolis: Unstable Economy by Fernando Sydenstricker C. 2021-10-05T01:56:22Z

Running from the specter of "make money or die" is all too familiar.

Wind Rover by OminusGalaxy44 2021-10-05T03:09:25Z

Gave me a good laugh how everything seemed aimed at my red button. Eventually hit 50 after learning to dodge.

Orbital Cascade by PolymathLD 2021-10-05T03:25:47Z

Fun back and forth. Maneuvering was quite easier than expected since you can rotate with the mouse.

Proton Pilferer vs. The Particle Police by Skyward4d 2021-10-05T12:53:49Z

Very creative using mass both ways. Loved the panicking police.

Bird Game!!! by Ty Rymer 2021-10-05T01:11:52Z

Knocking over eachothers stacks gave us a good laugh.

Luna's Painful Pastel Promenade by GuessImLuna 2021-10-05T20:54:15Z

The squiggly graphics, no music, and the gameplay combined are oddly hypnotic.

Tomatoes Delivery by Muse_X 2021-10-05T20:37:03Z

After getting used to the physics, it was quite fun! Reminds me of something like Linerider but with an objective.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Captain Beardy by headchant 2022-04-08T01:23:45Z

Reminded me of early home PC games how things moved. Rushing in circles mashing X gets intense even if the game is purposefully moving slowly once enough guys start dropping.

Herdey (VR Only) by shadowbrain 2022-04-18T21:47:19Z

Great to see VR entries! I thought I had defeated the game design by herding one of them into the shed, only to discover that counted as escaped... Great take on the theme. Using the tools to build makeshift enclosures around them made this stand out more than if it was just dropping objects in their path. Keeping them slow and fat seemed to be the way to go. Really easy to keep the final one alive when it is big.

Tsunami by GameDevTraum 2022-04-08T01:42:11Z

Cute art! Clear mechanics. Easy to play and know what to do at a glance.

Panic by woahitsjeff 2022-04-08T00:10:57Z

Not even hiding out in a back alley can get you away from people!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Spooky Doctor by Gonzalol 2022-10-05T02:35:29Z

Quite tight for ten seconds! Took a few levels to get the hang of it, but after that it was a good challenge.

The Hardly Fair by pegasys 2022-10-06T00:02:59Z

Got to 110. Good audio (love the mouth noises). Controlled well. Somehow I pressed the trampoline all the way down and it got stuck there lol. Jumping on it again fixed it. Would have been great to have increasing difficulty.

The Oxinaut by Budark 2022-10-05T02:08:08Z

Fun game. Good flipping effect on the countdown. Screen shake is a bit much on weapon 2. Played enough times trying to use the fire weapon to catch as many "enemies" as I could with it. Got to 3rd place!

CHAOS CONDUCTOR by Cope 2022-10-05T23:29:44Z

Good choice of shotgun for the weapon so the player can focus on everything without too much aiming, or rush for full spread hits. Love the headbashing animation on the middle enemies.

Hectical Escape by fgamer99 2022-10-05T17:50:15Z

The tutorial made me think it was a simple game, but then the theme kicked in. Simple controls combined with 10 second sprints made this a good and exciting challenge.

LANDSLIDE by Adinimys 2022-10-05T23:46:32Z

Fun that you could bait enemies into dashing themselves off. Got a good laugh when on climbed up only for the level do collapse on it immediately. Good idea unlocking the mechanics one by one.

Shady business by Peche et Tradition 1867 2022-10-06T00:12:24Z

Def 5 stars on mood on this one. Looking between the map, radar, and refueling made this appropriate stressful.

LD53 — Delivery

The Dark Forest and a Delivery Through Distant Lands and Geometric Oddities by Tygrak 2023-05-18T02:21:23Z

I don't know where I went, but it sure was a trip. The "press F to warp to next warp point" is a great idea to keep players from getting lost.

The Infinite Delivery Machine by Steve Sparkes 2023-05-17T20:43:49Z

Due to the random nature, some stages were almost automatically solved and some took some brainpower. The automatic demo at the start is really cool for a game jam game. Great take on the theme.

Delivery DRONE by kasperhangard 2023-05-18T00:23:37Z

I can drop the packages in the middle of the street sometimes. Just like my real delivery driver does! Enjoyed the little bits of extra fun you put around the map, such as the ramps.

Carnage Courier by DecrementedPalindrome 2023-05-18T04:46:30Z

Not sure if there was an issue with my browser or what but loading new stages would freeze up my browser (Opera GX) until it loaded. I got 15 boxes delivered before the game froze entirely. Fun game though! Reminds me a bit of Warring Forever. Makes you want to keep getting bigger and bigger.

Delivery Survivor by LogicProjects 2023-05-18T03:16:05Z

Good idea giving the player a lot of health. Opens up the option to push through to grab coins in the beginning. Stacking nachos was truly the strat.

LD54 — Limited Space

Tiny Factory by AncientEntity 2023-10-03T17:23:59Z

Limited space, limited time too! Great job on the gifs showing you how to play, very helpful.

Murbunbun's Murder Mansion by Steve Dragon 2023-10-03T17:39:50Z

Wacky game. Sometimes interacting with things felt finicky, but I was able to get it to work out in the end. The unique art style definitely makes it memorable.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Tiny Grab by barisflo 2024-10-08T02:56:06Z

Unique idea with the power ups. Makes it a bit more than just a quick toy. Found I could shove the stuffed animals through the ground and make the claw freak out by pressing the button multiple times. Actually bounced a few in the hole that way somehow!

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Knightmare by krasse 2018-04-27T04:39:04Z

Gets better when the enemies increase and so do the weapons. The dash, as others said, was hard to aim when enemies were just a tad off the ground. Good music. Overall one of the better entries.

FRESH to UNDEATH by NvrSkipGameDay 2018-04-27T01:46:35Z

I got 3 across before my finger started hating me. As the others said good music, really fit the mood.

Clidger by Mathiouza 2018-04-24T22:02:40Z

First clicker game I've ever played where you can get a game over! You totally hit the theme! Fun and innovative take on it. Having to keep up with the scrolling, keep yourself in a safe spot, dodge, and click all at once makes for hectic fun.

As for negatives: Pretty much gonna echo the others here. Side enemies killed me nearly every time instantly, and the instructions felt like they should have been a seperate screen.

Harvest Ninja by gamesient 2018-04-25T01:13:07Z

Didn't expect managing when I planted to matter, that was interesting and a good way to make the player get risky running back and forth. Great mashup for the theme. Ran into a bug where retry and quit stopped working on my first try.

Claude Van Clam Presents: Roberto Fishermun's Horrific Fishing Adventure 2019 by The Enigma 2018-04-24T23:23:20Z

Calm music mixed with the situation, and the overall theme wins humor points. Gameplay works well giving the player something to do while the wave is going on. Was able to cheese the boss waves that don't attack your "towers" by running in circles and fishing bit by bit!

Racingsaurus Text by Don Fouts 2018-04-24T15:47:34Z

We definitely learned the lesson of getting other people to playtest this jam. While we can finish with 10-15 seconds left on the clock (because of course we know the layout and right answers), the game is may be a bit too difficult for others!

Racingsaurus Text by Don Fouts 2018-04-24T17:27:51Z

@dj-depressive Honored to be on that list!

@amras0000 The peaking is totally my bad. Thought I had fixed that. We discovered the easy strat in the last few hours while adjusting the time and trying to make the game easier. The original idea was to have the text message pop up at certain checkpoints on the map, but that wasn't the direction we went.

Thank you all for the feedback so far!

Where's Waldy by Dartictheunic 2018-04-27T01:50:51Z

Constant mix of audio sources creates a chaotic mood and I love it. Convention setting helped there too. Genres mix well since you can clear out everything you're not looking for. Overall both fun and got a few laughs.

Cyclevania by Allen Oliver 2018-04-26T00:34:18Z

Multiple paths made we want to keep going. Biggest upgrade would be adding more speeds than "go" and "stop" to the bike.

Witch's Escape by cristiano.m.garcia 2018-04-27T04:48:50Z

High score of 3444! But only because I found you could mash all the keys at once without penalty.
