Chef's kiss. I assume you're taking inspiration from Mac classic Glider. If not, even higher marks for innovation.

Fun and addictive! Great retro graphics and a well developed game.

leyamez 2021-10-04 23:59

I loved the crumpling mechanic it was cool and I haven't seen something like it before! Very well done! Liked the simple artstyle too

Interesting concept :)

wbertrand 2021-10-04 23:59

The graphics and colors are awesome. Plus the mechanics make for some really complicated and satisfying rooms. Was really fun!

juliofesch 2021-10-05 00:00

I liked it a lot! Keep it up!

cad 2021-10-05 00:01

Really crisp and juicy gameplay. What's there is very well done, it'd be fun to see this expanded into a larger game!

elmos-minion 2021-10-05 00:01

I really, really love the graphics & aesthetic of the game. Super consistent too. The gameplay (dropping and raising the ship + puzzles) is tight and responsive as well. With a lot more development, I could see this as some complete fast-paced metroidvania-style game with some sort of plot beyond just the puzzles.

Cool, clever, yet infuriating game. Going to come back and finish it later or break my monitor trying.

jepjoh2 2021-10-05 00:11

Thought a few times I would stop but then just made it to the next level. Very frustrating yet addicting :)

gingerningerish 2021-10-05 00:20

Cool little game. Very addictive. Some very well thaught out level design. Although some levels could be a bit more generous before you explode, as they felt like they were on full speed run mode. Also a little precise in some spots, always just kept hitting the very edge of things. Otherwise good job, I managed to finish it.

don-fouts 2021-10-05 01:01

Oh wow this is really well done and polished! I love the art style and the mechanics are really awesome and creative. Great work!

wooshdude 2021-10-05 01:22

a fun charming little game. the controls were slightly infuriating at first but after getting the hang of them the flow became really fun

nillard 2021-10-05 01:30

Timing on some of the levels is really tight! Made for a good challenge.

icedjam 2021-10-05 04:13

This is really well made, nicely polished. The levels feel really well tested and balanced, they're difficult but fair. The art style is simple but works very nicely. I love the look and feel of this game and it's quite addictive. Great job.

I love the way this glider feels! The animation and mechanics blend together with the the Undertale like graphics for a seamless experience! Amazing Job!

I could see the game becoming a full release!

cottontshirtz 2021-10-05 05:30

Classic concept with a strong retro aesthetic!

scidev 2021-10-05 11:44

The game was hard, but in the way that makes you want to keep playing, the game really allows you to learn the controls quickly. Its one of the more fun games I've played. The art for the game is also very nice and conveyed the level to the user really nicely while still looking great. Great job on your game and good luck!

lereveur 2021-10-05 15:58

I didn't manage to get to the end, I gave up on the "left-air-column two spike-plateforms four lasers and three buttons" level, didn't find out how to get the low-right button. But this was fun and challenging, and the retro feeling is good. Well done!

harry-holschier 2021-10-05 16:40

incredible I absolutely loved how it went from zero to 100 so quickly after teaching the machanics

arttu-halonen 2021-10-05 17:58

The game was difficult, but the mechanics were clear (the early levels worked beautifully as tutorials) and the instant restart made the game exciting, where otherwise it might have been frustrating. A really solid game!

beats 2021-10-08 01:36

Nice take on the theme, the mechanics are great, the levels were challenging and some were a bit trial and error but overall solid effort.

nyles 2021-10-08 04:43

The paper mechanics were really refined. It's giving Paper Mario and his RPG identity crisis a run for his money.

etrealjunior 2021-10-09 20:33

Congratulations on the game, I found it very fun and challenging, the arts are well combined with the game's proposal, the only suggestion I would give is to create something or a particular effect in your game that differentiates and consequently creates a striking personality in your game, because if you don't post jam if it turns into a commercial game you may have your great idea lost among many similar art styles which would be a shame as it's a great game, again congratulations, if you can give your feedback on my game too I will be very grateful , a big hug.

cam-moore 2021-10-10 15:50

Addictive and fun great work!

mattwoelk 2021-10-10 15:56

Very nice mechanic. Tough as nails, but with quick resetting. Well done.

itsboats 2021-10-11 06:00

Man this was tough but I enjoyed every second of it!

My one suggestion on stream was to make the timing of the lasers the same every time you start the player, but you mentioned that it does restart the timing every time you respawn and it allows the player to pick the timing they want which I think it just as viable!

Really solid game, I would have kept playing even if there were 100 more levels xD

erkberg 2021-10-11 13:49

Really cool game! It made it into the fourth part of my let's-play-series: https://youtu.be/7aO0Tm7Tgyw PS: Check out the end of the video part for the second game, I'm coming back to yours to adjust the ratings up a bit :)

jonathan-lorenz 2021-10-20 11:14

Imho this is the perfect scope for a LD game. A simple but effective concept that you can explore throught a lot of small (but quite challenging) levels. Very good work!
