I like this idea and hope you keep working on it! Being able to change where my crew is between sailing was a fun mechanic. The random events are a nice touch, but can be pretty mean sometimes.
On a side note, thanks for checking out our game! summy-intro.gif
I was a little confused during the tutorial, but the graphics looked pretty good. That ringing after blowing up might be a little too loud.
Wow! I love the design and theme, this was a really fun game!
That third level was pretty rough. I felt like I was slamming the buttons really fast but I was stuck at ~2.0. Nice work on the music, I like the slow down and speed up mechanic of it.
Great Job! I think this is very well made for the time you had to complete it!
The gravity was a cool addition to the game. Some audio would have added a lot to this. Also I wish there was some sort of visual to let me know I hit the aliens. Overall, nice work!
Great short little puzzle game! This was really well made, I hope you plan to continue and add more levels.
Hey, great job and grats on finishing the COMPO! I think I had an ant under the level on my first game. The one reactor was powering down on it's own.
Awesome job for 12 hours. That first bad guy killed me so many times haha!
I love the losing power mechanic, awesome job!!
Pretty cool particle effects! The game felt really smooth and played well. Took me a second to realize I had lost because I was so caught up in killing demons (and the game didn't stop me haha)!
Cool idea, I ended up opening a bunch of windows for the different stations because I can still click them when one of their windows is open. I was a little confused on what I needed to upgrade or how to upgrade them.
Cool game, the digging noise wasn't what I was expecting.
Nice take on the bullet-hell genre. That second wave is really nasty though.
Took me a second to figure out what to do. I think the jumping might be a little too strong and a little too fast. Other than that this is a great start, I hope you continue with this idea after the jam!
The artwork in this is fantastic and the characters are well thought out! It took me a little bit at the start to figure out what to do and when I did figure it out I thought it was a neat mechanic. (spoiler alert) I got stuck right after the above mentioned spikes.
Nice start, I agree with @prettylucky that just a little bit of animation can add a lot to a game! It took me a few tries but I was finally able to make it past 2 fuel!
Really happy that we finished our first Ludum Dare!!!
Ludum_Cover.png
So many fingers were harmed in the making of these reviews (haha). Thanks everyone for trying our game out! @ramou sorry our game cheated you out of a win screen :c
@farhan-qureshi Thanks for your feedback, reducing the number of clicks players has to make is going to be one of the first things we look at when we continue this project. Based on all the feedback (and sore fingers) we've been getting, I think it's a good starting point!
(@sebastian-m @jsmcag @joskineide ... Thanks for your feedback! We plan on going in and adding some of the features we wanted but ultimately cut, due to the time constraints, after the contest. @jsmcag, I like that idea. We'll have to look into possibly doing something like that as we continue the development!
@prettylucky thanks for your feedback, your puns are spot on haha!
Great job on this! Your slap animation is pretty sweet, I wish there were more animations like it in the game.
Neat idea, the only thing I didn't like was how the main character looks.
Cool idea for the theme. The animations were a little rough and it's hard to get into without any sound. If you continue working on this try to get the feet moving at the same speed as the ground so the character doesn't look like they're running on ice!
Not bad for 6 hours! That starting noise was a little too loud.
Graphics were a little rough but the idea for the game is a good one! It was a little weird that I wasn't able to attack the robots that were behind me.
The sounds were well done! When I got to the end I found out I could hold "F" and slam the space bar to never die and kill everything haha!
I like the idea of the game, however with now way to lose the game moves it away from the theme a little bit. I didn't see any downfalls for having too many farmers or sheep. Would be neat if the sheep could walk off the ledge, it would make having too many of them hard!
The level layout was a little bit odd, I'm thinking you probably only needed 2 rooms as the house looked really empty. I really liked the washing mechanic, it was fun trying to press the correct buttons as fast as I could. It would have been neat if it took away from my progress if I got the button wrong.
I did get a fatal error when trying to send some items back (below). ___________________________________________ ################################################################################## FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Step Event1 for object Box:
Variable Game.
Neat concept and congrats on finishing! The gun was a little wonky sometimes. Interestingly if you hug a wall on your left it points the gun behind you (or at you?). I'm not sure how effective this is but it felt like a neat trick. I don't mind the 3d graphics, they have a sort of style to them, but the UI face is pretty rough. Moving around felt really smooth, nice work on that!
Wow, awesome job!! I really liked this game, it was fun and very smooth. The style was also pretty sweet.
The graphics were a neat style. The shooting was a little loud and the mouse moved really fast and was a drifted a little bit. I'm not sure what I did wrong but my screen faded to white and the level restarted. Awesome job working on this solo!!
Thank you for all the feedback so far! I've working through everyone here to try their game out. There are quite a few great entries for this LD!
Fun mechanics and the game runs smooth! It's an interesting take on the theme.
I love the way you worked this into the theme! Great job!
I really liked the mutators that were added. Having various controls inverted make it challenging! Matching the element to the enemy was a cool concept as well. I'm not too sure how this fits into the theme, but it was still fun to play. Only bug I ran into was I couldn't select QWERTY on my first play through, when I quit and opened it again I was able to change the controls.
Very solid game! I really like all the mechanics. My suggestion would be to add a noise when mom comes in to inspect. Also some sort of indicator that tells you when you've successfully clicked on the broom. Overall this was a very awesome entry, nice job!!
Nice game, I really liked the audio! My first game bugged out and everything stopped moving, a quick restart fixed this! The abilities were a nice twist to the action!
This was a great entry and I like how it ties into the theme really well. Everything is very well made. I think some of the sounds were a little loud and got old after a while of playing. As stated above the 5 seconds was a little tight, but it kept the pace up and the pressure on!
Nice attempt for 22 hours! Not really sure how this fits into the theme but it's good that you stuck it out and still submitted something after your first idea didn't work out!
Nice game entry. My game crashed, but I think it's because I was holding the down arrow down too long. The graphics in this were nice, but as mentioned above I wish the score counter was in the same font you used for the instructions. It was hard to get used to, but I actually liked the random shots and trying to manage which one I was using.
Nice game, I really like the visual style. It would have been nice to have a visual indication that clicking the red button next to the follower gas would kill them.
Looks and sounds great! It's funny that you can just walk down and kick all the pins over.
Nice submission! I really liked the car graphics and the bad guys flipping up into the air. It took me a little bit to figure out I was getting juice from enemies because I was picking it up so quickly. I did end up saving enough to get my freedom. Overall nice work.
This was great! I really liked the mechanic to lock hearts away after upgrading. Really solid submission, nice work!!
The graphics look interesting and aging after picking up the first few treasures looks neat. Though I can't get past the first enemy I encounter because it shoots me back to the start.
Way to stick with it and submit something and nice job! There didn't seem to be a way to lose the thugs when they started chasing you so I ended up with a little mob of them a couple times.
Nice graphics and audio! The only problem I had was having a hard time knowing what the range of the gun was.
I liked that you had to light yourself on fire to fire the cannons. Nice job.
The art and sound design are great. The big guy from the second wave took a little too long to kill.
Great work on the music and the scrolling background looks awesome.
This was a really unique take on the theme, great job! I loved everything about this, it's very polished.
The game runs well and the combat is interesting. It would have been nice to have the monsters move a little more to make the combat more challenging. I ended up with a full inventor most of the time because I was getting loot faster than I could sell it. Congrats on your first submission, nice work.
Great work, I love the mechanics. The voice acting at the beginning was awesome! This has been my favorite entry so far, really solid stuff you all have in here.
@drjeebus @ghost-in-the-toast Thanks for the feedback! Right Click to remove the blocks, but there's a bug that will sometime prevent this.
Oh no my boots! I like the art and audio on this, nice work. I would add some sort of grace frames after the player presses the button. I kept loosing because I think I may have held the button down too long and it registered twice. Overall great work!
The art in this is amazing, awesome work! I thought some of the noises were a little weird but the ambient music pulled the setting together well. Overall fantastic work.
Interesting game, it's pretty surreal. I thought the arcade puzzle was pretty challenging.
Very interesting mechanic! The audio was a little loud but I loved your mechanics. It was fun to try and arrange the backpack based on the upcoming events.
Nice start and congrats on your submission. As mentioned it was hard to tell what was being crafted when I was picking items up. I would say the biggest drawback for me would be getting the ground tiles lined up a little better.
Nice job, I thought the puzzles were fun and the reactor had looked really cool. I agree with what some others have made note of, increasing the walking speed would be nice but I understand wanting to have it match up with the audio. Overall nice entry!
This was a really creative game and I loved the puzzles. I like how you brought the theme into this.
The music was great, nice work! I really liked the cat throwing mechanic, this is a solid entry.
Love the mechanics and artwork, nice work!
I really liked that when you throw a grenade to the right it turns into a soda can. Interesting idea and take on the theme.
A few selective audio queues would have knocked this out of the park. I love how this fits in with the theme and think it's a very creative take on platformers. Great job!
Nice game, the controls were a little weird but I was able to get the hang of it. Some of the models were a little rough but I think it added to the style/charm. Overall nice work.
Nice job following through to the end. Every time my team participates we get a little better. I hope you stick with it and submit another project for the next jam!
Nice game! I couldn't stop trying to push my luck. I really liked the dialog and pacing of the game.
As already mentioned the end game screen gave me all zeros but I had a good time bullying my way into being a successful pixel merchant! Nice entry.
Nice game, it's interesting how you incorporated the theme into collecting goals. I wasn't able to clear the first pit and got stuck trying to get out of it and clear the jump back. Once you're in the pit you move so fast it's hard to manage to get out. Overall I think this was a really creative entry, nice work.
Nice entry, it's impressive how much you were able to cram in for the jam! Some sort of hit indicator would be nice. I would sometimes think I got past a room flawlessly just to look at my heath and find out otherwise.
As already mentioned by others I think the speed ramp up is a little too much. Congrats on finishing your first game!
As already mentioned the controls were a little wonky and found myself trying to find wide paths around the mushrooms because I was mistakenly eating so many of them. I really like the art style in this, nice work overall!
Nice game! I really love the pixel style with 3D models, that was a pretty sweet effect. I was able to break free from the umbilical cord by slamming 'ASD' as fast as I could. It was very liberating. I'm curious what else you had planned for this game based some of the elements that are currently in this build. Congrats on finishing!
I can see the direction you were trying going in with this. I hope you continue to work on it because it's a good idea!
The solution to the first obstacle of the 3rd level is interesting. It's really hard to recover if the drone goes parallel to one of the walls. Nice work and congrats on the entry.
Nice idea, the music got a little repetitive but I liked that I could swap between games.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone, we must have flipped a switch that we shouldn't have prior to our last build. I just double checked and can confirm there's a game breaking bug when you try to throw something. We learn something with each LD entry and I think the lesson from this is to give plenty of time for play testing. Again, we really appreciate all the feedback and will do our best to play all the games of those who tried ours out!
Awesome visuals, I had to download the exe as the webGL was really slow. My favorite part was the environment changing as I spent more lives.
Really cool way to work the theme in. I couldn't believe the results at the end.
Really nice entry! I like how polished the experience was and had fun trying to slosh soup around as fast as I could.
I liked that I could use the shotgun to boost my speed by shooting behind. Cool concept, nice work. The menu was also a nice touch.
The transitions and animations are so buttery smooth, awesome work. Creative way to tie into "Deeper and Deeper"! I originally got stuck on the first room on a clue so small it must have been made for ants (haha). I only got one of the endings last night before I started falling asleep from staying up so late our our entry, so I'll have to play through some more tonight to see the other endings.
I love the idea of two characters sharing the same controller. I didn't have another person to play with, but it only took a few moments to get used to playing both. Very creative, nice work!
Nice job, this seems like a solid entry. As others have said it would have been cool to have hazards or upgrades. Even without upgrades, I still found it a little addicting.
Cool idea for the puzzles, it was fun bouncing around between the ages. I also liked the feeling of seeing a clue and knowing where I needed to use it because of a puzzle earlier. Great work!
As already mentioned, I couldn't get the mouse wheel to work and the audio was a little wonky. Though, that could just be from the webGL doing something weird with the original. This was a cool concept and I wish I was better at it to see more of the levels. Nice work, this was a good entry.
Thanks to this game I've learned that I would make a very poor back alley surgeon. This well made and I like the art style. Nice work!
This is very challenging, I can only make it to the bedroom before time runs out. This has an interesting art style. Nice entry.
@koolruz Good suggestion. We moved the warning above the screenshots. Glad everyone is enjoying the game, thanks for all the feedback!
Cool style and an interesting way to fit into the theme. I like how different characters scream when stuff hits the car. The voice lines seemed out of place and a little repetitive but overall it was fun enough to play until I beat it. Nice work!
Awesome graphics! It took me a few tries to realize the baby panda was that little tiny guy bouncing around. This feels like something that could be a mini-game in Rhythm Heaven or Warioware.
Really creepy and the temple guardian dude gave me a jump scare. The sound effects are great and the controls/movement are well done. Nice work!
Love the character and the weight mechanic to the potion. Once I got the hang of the controls it felt cool to quick chuck the potion into the air, jump, and catch it in a smooth motion. It's too bad you only had 72 hours as I would love to see the environment fleshed out like the character. Occasionally I would get stuck running on the ground, but other than that this was a really solid entry. Nice work!
Oh wow this is really well done and polished! I love the art style and the mechanics are really awesome and creative. Great work!
This might sound strange, but I love the title screen. The music is a little loud but the gameplay is cool and fun. Nice entry!
I like how I can send my birds over to my friend's stack to throw it out of balance. This is really well done, nice job!
I agree with some of the other comments that the UI and audio could use a little work. With that said, the underlying mechanics for the game are really well done. I'm a sucker for city builders, it's cool to see one make an appearance in the jam.
@circle That's us! We try to go through and play everyone's game that tries ours out. Glad you liked the game!
Classic mechanics with a cute twist. I like the graphics and theme of this. I would agree with previous comments that the addition of some animations, likely cut for time, would have pushed this up. Overall I think this is a solid entry that you can be proud of, nice work!
I love the mood of the game and the solid Oregon Trail style mechanics. I wish I could aim my shots similar to the enemies when ambushed. Overall I think you did a great job on the game, nice entry!
Love the graphics and general game idea. The small detail I was really impressed with was the way you accomplished the little flame on the main character. It looked great! I do wish there was an easy way to replay, or at least I couldn't find one outside force closing the game. IT would also have been nice to see how much time I had, it took a while for me to figure out the timing. Overall this was a great entry, nice work!
I'm really bad at this game but it's amazing. I love the idea of queuing up commands that take a moment to reach the dog. The graphics are wonderful and the music is on point. Awesome entry!
Nice entry, the mechanics were simple and fun. The bus ship for people evacuating was a nice touch. I liked the cut-in graphics as well. Overall this was a good entry and solid game.
This is an interesting idea for the theme. I enjoyed the strategy of picking what to build before the moon crashed. I do wish there were some sounds, as that would have really kicked this up a notch. It took me a little bit to realize the power station wasn't out of power, due to the lighting bolt looking similar to the other buildings when they needed more power. Overall the controls are responsive and the effect of the orbit showing the path of the moon towards the end is cool.
I actually really liked the way you handled the water in this. The sound effects were also pretty funny. Nice entry.
Great looking game, I love the esthetic. The music and sound effects were equally good. I did experience a few issues where the mouse sensitivity with the motion blur was way high. I also think some textures failed to load on the toilet and sing as before cleaning them they were both bright pink. With those set aside I think this was a fantastic entry and think you made a great game. Nice work!
Interesting take on the theme. I thought the mechanics were unique. I really liked the drawn background for the home and wish the characters could have had the same treatment, though with this being a jam I'm sure that was cut at some point in the process. Overall you did a great job and this is a nice entry.
During our last 3 hours we pulled some lever or pushed some button that suddenly bugged everything out. There are probably a bunch of bugs in this as we had to hastily deploy at the last minute. Sorry in advance for anything wild and crazy.
We were able to fix the game breaking bugs and reuploaded the game so you can see how it was intended to be presented. For the contest we have included the original entry as a downloadable executable which should be used for grading us.
Nice entry, the controls feel responsive and the story is cute. I do wish there was sound to tie this all together though.
This is a wonderful looking game. I loved the mechanic of the lanes getting damaged instead of the player. Towards the end it felt close to impossible when the open lanes would be the far left and right back to back. Overall very nice work with a unified style, you nailed the synthwave sort of look.
Classic game setup and it's incredibly well made. I could see this deployed to mobile as a full game. I really liked the graphics, though the main song got a little annoying with the "wa wa wa" after a few minutes. Overall though this is a solid entry, awesome work!
It's really cool that you have a leaderboard, that's a nice feature for a jam game. I really liked the style and graphics. I think it would have been nice if there were some sort of hit registration when attacking or being attacked. Overall I think this was a great entry, nice work!
LOVE the style of this. The graphics are incredible and the audio is equally amazing. This is the perfect length for a jam game and really highlights the mechanics you built. I'm sure this was cut, but there should probably be some sort of negative effect to pressing a key too early as I was able to just slam HJKL to hit most the notes (I'm bad at these kinds of games). One other thing, the keys are out of order on the how to play screen. It showed "HJLK" instead of "HJKL".
Overall this is a very solid entry, awesome work.
Nice game, everything is really responsive and feels good to play. I couldn't tell if keeping the windows boarded up was helping or just extending the amount of time it took for the wave to bust in. Overall I think this was a nice entry, great work!
Nice game, very ambitious scope for a jam! I played the WebGL version and was getting these weird screen tears in the graphics. I'm thinking the tiles were slightly off or overlapping in a way to cause the tear. Screenshot below. Great entry, nice work!
Screenshot 2022-04-16 212806.png
I'm apparently really bad at this game as I couldn't get past the main menu. From what I saw the graphics look great! Based on previous comments this is probably an issue with my browser.
@roolow pressing enter worked! I'm playing the WebGL version on Windows, though my issue seems to be not pressing the correct key to start the game.
This was fun! I like the mechanics that are in this as it's simple and entertaining. I also think the characters are charming. Some additional SFX and a little more UI work could push this up to the next level. Great work, the entry is a solid one!
Great game the mood is fantastic. I actually really love the way you handle the shadows for areas outside the vision of the character. Solid entry, nice work!
Fun puzzle game, I like the way the seats work into the solution. The SFX were a little loud and the repeated clicking sounded more like a plastic toy popping than a train going along tracks. Though I knew what you were going for, so in a way it still works. Overall I think this is a clever entry and interesting use of the theme.
@bearding8 Most of the effects our team use end up being household objects or someone making it with their mouth similar to the way you did. I actually think it's really fun to find weirdly specific objects that make the perfect noise we're looking for. It's a little risky, but searching for royalty free sounds can help if you're looking for something super specific that you can't make with household objects. Sometimes the website Humble Bundle will have music/sound packs that can be purchased to create music or SFX with. I think the last bundle they sold also came with editing software, but I can't remember what it was.
As far as software I personally use Audacity and for our LD50 game our audio guy also used FL Studio.
The graphics are amazing, you've done a great job! I found the game to be a little difficult but I think after a few rounds I started to catch on. I really like the alchemy book and having to check on the demon to see what it's doing to know what to start cooking up. Overall this is a very solid entry, awesome work!
I played both the web version and the windows build. The web version ran really slowly, but I think that may have been an issue on my side. For a jam game you were able to get a lot done and I really like the stealth mechanics. The use of lighting to create a mood was great. The audio peaked a bunch or sounded like it was recorded in a room with an echo. Having some sort of lean mechanic to look around corners and not get caught would have been helpful, though after getting caught a few times I was able to learn the guard patterns. Overall I think this is a nice entry, great work!
Interesting take on the theme. I love the graphics at the lake location. It felt really tranquil and looked great! It took me a little bit to figure out how to reel the fish in, some sort of indicator could help here. Overall I think this was a great entry, nice work.
Interesting entry, I like the style though the hum of lights is a little loud. I think if it was toned down a bit it could help accent the knocking/foot steps. I like the style and the mechanic to spam space bar does give the feeling of struggling. Great work!
Nice game, I like how the character movement made it feel like a pop-up book or paper doll play. Some of the font was a little hard to read, but in general I like the way you tied the theme into your game. Great entry!
Really interesting mechanics. The graphics look solid and the game played well. It's a little hard to tell what the icons are and what puzzle pieces can fit together. Overall I like this game and think it's a really neat idea.
I really like the graphics and theme. I almost lost after winning by not realizing I had to wait for the time to run out once I got 20 clouds. I was running around hitting all the red things and realized my score dropped. Cool entry, nice work!
This is a really interesting concept. I enjoyed exploring the city and was surprised there were vertical areas to reach by spamming jump. Some of the people walking looked weird, but it gave them a creepy sort of appearance so maybe that was intentional. Great work, solid entry!
Nice game! It was wild how many objects were falling which made it almost like a living maze. The Sound was really nice, though it sounded really crazy when I plowed through everything across the screen. I think I hit some objects when I thought they were off the screen yet still partially there. Overall, great work and nice entry!
I was not expecting such a narrative experience from a jam game. Awesome work, this was an incredible entry.
Wow you put a lot of work into this story, great work! I wish I had more time to enjoy the story, but I was able to catch most of it. Great entry!
Great graphics and the gameplay is solid. I like how there are multiple versions of the Karen to make it look like a mob. The upgrades seemed fair and the difficulty ramped up appropriately. Great Entry!
I love this so much! I've never had so much fun doing taxes. I wish there was a way to change the sorting order to bring some of the forms forward, but this was easy to work around by just shifting everything to the edge of the screen. Great work, solid entry.
Very solid entry! I really liked the graphics and this was a classic setup for the theme. I liked the powerups as it spiced the game up and makes the player adapt to their new temporary power. Great work!
Very ambitious for a jam game. I know games with stats and RPG elements can be difficult to balance, but I think you did a good job with this. I enjoyed the various choices and text, great work!
I really like the style of this and it's a really interesting method for story telling. I did get soft locked on this level with a few null reference errors. Or maybe I got a game over? Overall I think this was a really cool entry, nice work!

@sofignedova I was walking around pressing "Space" to try and find items to pick up. I think I triggered a few of the memories on that stage and when I got close to the right side of the screen I got the above screen shot.
@sofignedova I just replayed it without slamming the spacebar like a spaz and didn't get any errors that time. Seems like it's something I did rather than with the game.
Nice graphics and I love the way your menu animates in and out. This is a great entry, nice work!
This is a great looking game. I had issues easily getting stuck on objects but I still had fun exploring the world you built. Great work!
An interesting idea though it could use a little fleshing out. I went around the track a few times but it said I was still on 'lap 1'. I do like the mechanic of swapping controls every 10 seconds as a way to fit this into the theme. I would also update your game cover so you can drive more people to try out your game. Congrats on the entry!
Side note: Ignore the Anonymous comment, this person isn't providing anything useful.
I think my game crashed at the end when all the tiles filled up. The music continued playing but I wasn't able to click around or inspect anything. I also had a hard time reading some of the text, but this could be an issue with the laptop I'm viewing it on. This seems like it was an ambitious game idea and could pan out to be pretty awesome if you continue working on it after the jam. Overall nice work and congrats on the entry!
Wow this was amazing, great work! I love the style and the concept for the game is so cool!!
This is really well made, great work! It's wild how polished this is for a 72 hour game jam. Very impressive, congrats on the amazing entry.
Cool entry and a fun hidden message. The game played well though the sound was a little delayed and didn't start right away. Loved the graphics, congrats on the entry!
Cool entry. It took me a few tries to figure out what was going on. I wish there was a way to see what cards I currently have and what buttons they're assigned to. Some visual feedback would have helped with using them as well. I like the atmosphere created using the lighting and some of the models had a nice style to them.
A strange bug I ran into was pressing the '3' key caused my game to crash and freeze up. Refreshing the browser was the only way to fix.
Congrats on the entry!
The game was a little hard to understand (I don't speak Australian) and I'm not sure how it fits into the theme. I will say that the controls were very responsive and felt solid. Good entry and nice work!
This was really well made and I love the art! The sound the two cute characters make was a little clunky but I'm stretching to find suggestions. Awesome work, this was a fantastic entry!
Cool idea for a game. It would have been cool to see how close you were to the actual prompt used to generate the images with some sort of indicator besides score.
This was an interesting take on the theme. It took me a moment to figure out how to play, I think some sort of additional indicators on some of the actions would have helped show how things impacted your character/enemies. Overall nice work and congrats on the entry.
Fun game! The hardest part for me was the time management in addition to trying to click the commands. This was also a really interesting take on the theme. Nice work!
Really cool concept. I like how the game gets more difficult the longer you play. I also thought the upgrades was a nice touch. Great work!
Nice work, this looks great!! For some reason level 2 was the hardest for me to get points on. Level 3 was my favorite with the booster. It took me a minute to get used to the controls but once I got used to it, it felt natural. I didn't think to try playing it on the phone until I read the comments, so after playing a bunch on my PC I jumped over to mobile. It's actually really cool your entry can be played on mobile!
Overall awesome entry and a really clever take on an otherwise restrictive theme.

Wow this is really well done! I love the graphics and the gameplay feels really polished.
This was an incredible entry, awesome job!! I love the simplicity of the character and how smooth and polished everything feels. The music is pretty catchy also. Sometimes the character would walk to the vegetable pushing other off screen causing me to wait for another to pop up but I assume that's part of the challenge.
@mcbombadev Thanks for coming back to provide that feedback. It's good to know that there are different experiences on different browsers. We noticed a difference in our build vs our editor so I think we'll need to give ourselves a little more time on the next one to test WebGL builds.
@nvrskipgameday Thanks for trying our game out! We noticed the 'unable to pick things up' bug on the last day and fixing it got scrapped for other priorities, haha. We're not 100% sure where the drift is coming from but it'll be something we keep in mind for our next entry.
@100th-coin Thanks for playing our game and we're glad you liked the multiple endings. That was actually a last minute decision on our part when we were trying to wrap things up on the last day.
Harvesting dreams is a good take on the theme. I liked the mechanic of drawing around the dream to harvest it. Though I think I made it harder on myself by using the trackpad on my laptop to play. Regardless I still had a good time playing this, nice work!
This was a really thoughtful entry and I feel like it's very polished. I loved the mechanics in this game and it felt like an interesting mix of strategy/rogue-lite/card game. Overall nice work, this was fun to play.
Cool game and a unique take on the theme! I really liked the design of everything. It all looked whimsical but with a dark mood. The hiding mechanic was well done, though the tractor would sometimes turn around and not move away from me. This was easily fixed by jumping in and out of the scarecrow though. Overall nice work!
Straight forward take on the theme with an amazing twist by making this a puzzle game. I loved the graphics and think in general the game has a polish to it that could play into an eventual full project/game. Nice work!!
My first playthrough I felt like I was doing everything wrong, I even trashed my first carrot lol. The game loop is pretty cool and reminds me of a restaurant sim where customers are requesting meals and you're running around making it for them. Overall this was a nice entry.
Nice work, you all got a lot of mechanics completed for the jam! I really like your take on the theme. If there would have been more time some animations would have really pushed this over the edge. Overall great work and congrats on your entry!
As already mentioned in various comments this was a really cool take on the theme by using a visual novel. It may be just an issue on my side but I felt like I may have missed some dialog options when pressing space bar to advance the prompt. I would see a text bar at the bottom them flash to a new dialog box. This was on the HTML5 chrome player. Overall great work!
I LOVE the artwork in this entry, this is great! I love the mood and how even from the start it has an unnerving undertone leading up to the later in the game. The game feels very polished, awesome work!!
The design of this was great! I liked the addition of the rogue-lite progression. I could see this project being a great starting point for a fully developed project.
Well this was an experience I wasn't expecting. I love the humor in this and the character design was jaw dropping. I also like how the slow motion effect looked when activated. Overall this was a great entry, nice work!
Nice entry! I like the way you designed the people of this city. It was a little hard to knock over the trash cans to collect the delicious donuts sometimes. Overall nice work!
The graphics on this were cool and I liked the dialog. The platforming took a little bit to get used to but once I got the hang of it the puzzle aspect was more enjoyable. Overall great work!
Love the art on this, great entry!
This was a great looking game, though the platforming felt a little finicky. For some reason it never really clicked for me and I had a hard time with it. The graphics more than made up for it, I loved the high contrast foreground with watercolor-like backgrounds.
What a unique take on the theme! The car was a little hard to control but the idea for this game is hilarious. Awesome work!
This was a really cool take on the theme and a well designed word game. Great work!
Great take on the theme! I really liked the graphics and general layout seemed really stylish.
This was a really cool take on the theme but also an awesome twist on the 'tower defense' genre. This was probably one of favorite entries to play for LD52.
This was a cool take on the theme, nice work! It was a little confusing at first but I started to get the hang of what was going on. As others have commented on I love the polish added and think the overall esthetic is nice. Overall great work!
Cool pick your own adventure take on the theme, nice work!
This was an interesting take on the theme!
Nice entry, I had fun playing this. It did take me a few tries to figure out how to play but once I figured it out I enjoyed what you created. Overall nice work!
The audio and graphics are really nice, but I was having issues figuring out how to play. This is a neat concept and a great entry though.
This was a really interesting take on the theme, nice work!
Are just the characters AI generated or are the user interface elements also AI assisted?
Nice entry, this was really well made! The controls felt snappy and responsive. The stage was a little hard but I had fun playing it, overall I think this is a very fine entry for this theme!
This was a really cool entry. I really enjoyed the artwork and how it paired with the audio. Overall I think everyone that worked on this project should be proud, awesome work!
Really nice entry! I liked the gameplay and felt like everything was really crisp. The upgrades were a nice touch but overall I think this was a cool take on the theme.
Cool game, I liked the mechanics for this. It took me a minute to get used to some of the controls and get the hang of grabbing things while doing the platforming. Overall nice entry for the jam!
Nice entry and an interesting take on the theme. The controls were felt crisp and I enjoyed the upgrade system.
Nice entry! As already mentioned in previous comments I had some issues with figuring out what was clickable as the areas seemed off. I noticed using the fullscreen button seemed to make this worse. Overall I think the illustrations in this are great and the audio gives an unnerving undertone.
This is a cool take on the theme. I really liked the artwork.
Nice entry! I really liked the artwork for this and the controls were really crisp. I wasn't able to deliver the chest, it seemed like I wasn't making progress even with throwing bombs off the boat and repairing holes. Overall, I think this was a really great entry for the jam.
Cool idea and a fun take on the theme. The music was a little on the loud side for me and I would have maybe rounded some of the numbers up to clean up how the scores look. Overall this is a solid entry, nice work!
This was a challenging game but I like how it fits in with the theme. It took me a few playthroughs to get the hang of it, but once I did I was enjoying the experience. Overall, great work!
The graphics in this are amazing and the UI is very professionally done. Nice take on the theme and overall a great entry, nice work!!
This was a cool puzzle game. The theme seems loosely tied into the jam but I can see the direction. Overall I enjoyed the puzzles and thought the game in general was really chill. Nice work!
This is a great entry! I love the style and the controls feel responsive/snappy. Also an amazing take on the theme, overall this was really cool to play. Nice work!
Cool skin of the Watermelon Game. This fits with the theme well. Overall nice work.
Really cool game! It was really challenging trying to figure out which key I could let go of when they dropped off. Overall I think this was a great entry for this jam and a very solid game. Nice work!
Love the style and including a classic manual as a downloadable pdf is a great touch. Overall I like how this plays into the theme and had fun playing. Nice work!
These children are wild. Great entry, as others have mentioned starting off with space bar didn't give the results but after clicking the icon once it started giving me the feedback for how many children I upset. Overall nice work!
Great idea for the theme! This reminded me of something you would see in a Wariorware game. The character felt a little buggy/glitchy when moving around but it wasn't game breaking. Overall I think this was a solid entry for the jam, nice work!
Nice work, I thought this was fun to play! The graphics were nice and the inclusion of a story for the jam is always impressive to see. Overall I think this was a good entry.
Fun take on the theme. The controls felt really responsive and the sound felt like it matched what was happening. I also really liked the graphics, especially the layout of the main menu. For a jam game it's always neat to see multiple stages. Overall I think this is a solid entry, nice work!
Oh wow this is really well done! Great take on the theme and really creative/fun gameplay. Overall I don't think I have any suggestions to make this better. Amazing entry, nice work!
Great artwork, sound, and voice acting! It took me a couple tries to win, but I really enjoyed the game. Overall I think this is a solid entry, amazing work!
Loved the art style for this! The mechanics were fun and I think this fits the theme really well. Overall I think this is an amazing entry for the jam, great work!
Love the art style though I wish the camera was zoomed out just a little bit. As already mentioned the map was a little hard to navigate and it was hard to find/see things I could interact with. Overall I liked the story as it and the art made the whole experience feel like a creepy children's book.
Oh wow this is very well made! I love the graphics in this and the music/sounds are spot on. Everything feels very polished and professional. Amazing work, very nice entry!
I love the artwork on this! Love the idea of this and like how it was fit into the theme. Great work and congrats on the entry.
Man Ernie should not be allowed near cars, haha. This is an amazing idea for this jam and was very fun to play. I love how it fits the theme so well and it's absolute chaos slamming cars around the lot trying to keep everything organized. Really amazing work on this, it's probably my favorite game of this jam so far!
Loved the song! I got stuck on some of the platforms which prevented me from moving, resulting in a lost life. Overall I liked the graphics, loved the sound, and think this was a solid entry for the jam. Nice work!
LOVED the style of this! Everything feels like it was made with the N64 era in mind. This was also a very fun take on the theme. Overall, great entry!!
This was a nice chill farming game, loved the art style. The mechanic for the weeds was a fun way to manage the space. Overall great work and nice entry!
Cool maze game. It had a whimsical eerie feeling to it. The controls were nice though the jump felt like it lacked weight. Overall though I think this is a really solid entry, nice work!
Interesting take on the theme. As others have said controlling the catapult was difficult. I think some sort of aiming indicator would have helped. I found that the easiest way to win was to aim straight into the air, hold my mouse in one spot and throw people straight up until I made a tower of people. Overall nice entry.
As already mentioned, the breathing mechanic at the start triggered sticky keys. I loved the graphics and the mood this game has. Really creative idea and I think this was a good entry.
Loved the graphics/effects of the screen. As mentioned by the previous comment, I also loved the atmosphere! The droning sound added a creepy feeling to the game. Overall I think this was a cool idea, nice work!
Interesting take on the theme. I had a hard time figuring out the controls but after a few tries I started to get the hang of it. The menu is a little hard to navigate through but overall I think this is a good entry, nice work.
This is a really cool idea for the theme and a creative take on this type of puzzle. The graphics look great and the controls feel great. I did run into an issue where I couldn't go through one of the gates I opened. I ended up just moving the blocks around and when around the gate. Overall I think this was a great entry for the jam, nice work!
This is a unique and fun take on the theme. It took me a few tries to really get the hang of it, but once I did it was really fun trying to come up with strategies to make the most out of the space I had. Great entry, nice job!
@lupercalia yeah, no problem!
Amazing graphics! I like that this was a complete package including multiple endings (I got ending 2). Overall I think this was a great entry for the jam.
Cool and classic take on the theme. I liked the addition of the grappling hook. Weirdly enough I really like how the end game screen looks. Overall I think this is a great entry, nice work!
Cool puzzle game! I liked the graphics on this and thought the controls were responsive. Overall I think this is a good entry for the jam.
Cool take on the theme. I liked the controls and graphics, though the game was pretty hard. Overall I enjoyed it, nice work!
This was a really cool idea for the theme and I love the graphics. Nice work and congrats on the entry!
This was fun to explore through and see the different dialog options for the object combinations. Creative take on the theme and a solid entry overall. Nice work!
Cool take on the theme and I love the graphics. Landing on planets felt a little weird and I ran into a bug where the planet I was on clipped through another planet and I got stuck. Overall though I think this is a solid entry to the jam, great work!
I used the secret flight ability by slamming space bar as quickly as I could manage and made it to the end. This looks like a good start but could use a little polish. Overall congrats on pushing it over the finish line and posting this to the jam for us all to play. Nice work!
Cool concept for the theme. As already mentioned a little balancing would be nice as I can get a few enemies in while being really careful with my shots before I run out of energy. The controls for the game are responsive and I liked the graphics as well. Overall nice work!
This is a really cool take on the tower defense genre. The game was pretty fun once I got the hang of it. Overall nice work!
Creative take on the theme! I like the added mechanic of waiting to kill enemies until they were in a good position to turn into a block. With the camera pushed in as far as it is I felt a little claustrophobic, but in a way it leans into the theme a little more because of it. Overall I think this is a good entry, nice work!
Amazing artwork/style! This is an interesting take on the theme and love the risk/reward mechanics of the "buff building". Overall great work and solid entry!
Loved the characters but wasn't too sure what my end goal was. This felt like an interactive museum where I can look at the art and click on thing to see their interactions. Overall I think this was a really creative take on the theme, nice work!
Wow this is a solid entry, amazing work! I love the gameplay, I love the artwork, I love everything about this. Great work on this, a very solid entry for this jam!
I killed everyone on the buss, then I killed the driver and was a peace. Cool idea and a creative take on the theme, nice work!
This is a really cool idea on the theme. I like the stealth mechanics added to the inventory management. Rushing to get my inventory in order before the guard comes back was fun. Overall I think this is a good entry for the jam. Nice work!
Wow this was great! Loved the puzzles and feel like it was very polished.
The mood of this was eerie! As other have mentioned picking things up was a little hard and I kept picking things up when I wanted to instead drop what I was holding. Overall though I think this is a great compo entry, nice work!
Congrats on the entry! I couldn't find my way out of the maze after a few playthroughs but the ambience of the music made it a creepy playthrough. There seem to be some issues with the character animations as moving up/down and left/right uses different sprite styles. Besides that, I did enjoy the game and think it's a good entry, nice work!
Cool game idea, it was fun to pick two different factions to match them together on a team. I really enjoyed the music and sound effects, haha. Overall I think this is a nice entry for the jam, great work!
It took a minute to load but it eventually did. I like the idea of mixing 2d and 3d in the same environment. It gives it some stylistic flare. Exploring around trying to find the wall switches was fun but I wish there were a little more variety in the rooms to help with knowing where I've already been. Overall I think this was a good entry for the jam, congrats!
Awesome work, this was fun to play and I think a great take on the theme. The only issues I ran into were when my slime would get stuck in a corner or maybe the slime would fling in a direction I wasn't expecting. Overall I had fun and think this is really polished for a jam. Great work!
Neat concept for the theme and well put together. I liked exploring the areas around the furnace. I also dug as far down as I could to see what would happen. I won't spoil it for anyone, but it was pretty hot. Overall, great work!
Oh wow what a cool concept and it fits into the theme really nicely. As I've seen mentioned already it could be sped up a bit so I can quickly type the keys to move around. Overall I think this was a very successful entry, very well done!
Nice simple game with solid controls. The background is a little busy and hard to look at, but other than that for the amount of time spent on it I think this was a great entry, nice work.
Great take on the theme! I loved the sound effects and overall classic feel this entry had. There were a couple things I thought could use work, mostly some sort of visual feedback (or at least more if there is one) that you've been hit. Overall I think you did a great job, awesome work.
What a cool idea. I love how it fits into the theme. My only issue was after a few waves I became too big to fail, but it was still really fun once I got there. Overall great work, this was a fantastic entry.
Cool take on the theme. This was an interesting puzzle game with some timing/rhythm elements to it. I could see this being fleshed out with other indicators being used to help with timing besides the round circle in the top left. Overall I think this was a great entry, nice work.
Cool idea for the theme. This was a nice and short point and click puzzler. I love the concept of trying to capture creatures from playing cards that are hiding in your house. Overall I think you did a great job, nice work.
Love the concept behind this. I had to turn the audio off because it was a little loud, but I had a good time balancing collecting crystals and attacking bases. Overall I think you did a great job, nice work.
Cool concept for the theme and it ran really well. The second level was a little too huge with stuff maybe spaced too far apart but I still thought it was pretty cool. Overall nice work.
Congrats on finishing the game for the jam. It took me a little bit to figure out the controls, I think the biggest thing the game needs is some sort of feedback for attacking or getting hurt. It was hard to tell if pressing 'x' did anything until I saw the cannon ball flying across the screen. Overall nice work.
Interesting take on the theme, I really liked the grappling hook (though it took me a minute to figure it out). I liked the map and it was fun searching around for the creatures. Overall nice work.
Cool graphics, and interesting take on the theme. I was having a really hard time dealing with the eye ball enemies but still had fun playing. Overall I think you did a great job, nice work.
Very cool atmosphere and an interesting take on the theme. I liked the style, and seeing the cat's eyes when you turn a corner was actually spooky sometimes. Overall I think this was a great entry, nice work!
Interesting take on the theme. I kept getting errors when trying to play it on the Ludum Dare site and the link provided does not work. The errors didn't prevent me from playing but just filled up the screen.
Not sure what the two themes were with this but it was fun. I really like the art style in it! It was a little hard to aim the dash and found myself using the weapons more. It would have been nice to skip the tutorial after the first time playing it. Overall, nice work!
Awesome work and congrats on the submission! The music in this was made me laugh out loud. I also like your take on the theme! All it takes to fail is one hungry zombie to fall early to ruin the show for the rest of them! It's really hard to feed them enough so they can all make it to the end, but I had fun watching them fall all over each other.
The questions while resting were a really nice touch! Though as others have mentioned I found it easy to just spam the first question to regenerate my health and energy then just eat some berries. I really liked the graphic style this had. Overall I think this was a great entry, nice work!
Nice work, congrats on the game! It was fun once I got the hang of it, the icons were a little hard to figure out what they did at the start. Some music/sound would have been a really nice touch.
Great work! Those turns get me every time. The one time I nailed a turn perfectly only to run into a parked car right after. Overall I think this was a great entry for the theme!
Great entry, I like the theme combination! I made it to wave 33 before I was reduced to running circles around the horde while my last fish tower shot at them.
Fun game, I agree with some of the other comments that the car is sometimes hard to control. RAMPAGE was a nice addition as it gave me a chance to look at the level layout! Overall nice work.
Awesome work! I really liked this mash up. The controls felt solid and rarely did I feel cheated when I died. The biggest thing I would have changed is that coin noise, or at least lower it's volume.
Great game! I like how you worked with the theme. I made it to round 5/4 and won 4 of them. The NPC drivers got crushed by a bullet turret and oil slick combo! My suggestion would be to limit the area the NPC can place traps. Most of the traps they put on the map for me were on the extreme edges. Overall awesome work!
