Rage Against The Cocoon by JoeDev 2022-04-05T11:06:50Z ♥ 1
Really cool game ! I'm impressed by the physics, the dialogs and the half baked butterfly made me laugh. BUT as a french guy, i'm offended by the fact you made croissant "trash food" :P

Really cool game ! I'm impressed by the physics, the dialogs and the half baked butterfly made me laugh. BUT as a french guy, i'm offended by the fact you made croissant "trash food" :P
Great polished game ! I really loved the mood of it. And the trail of past run is a incredible idea. Good job to you. I just find it a little bit too hard to fully enjoy the ride. Maybe a tuned down energy consumption could make it more accessible?
Extremely clean game. Love the feedbacks, camera movement and idea (you must recover the bullet, which is sometimes behind the enemies) Good job !
I realy enjoyed the concept ! The art style is so good ! But it lacks sound feedbacks on clicks and on what is good/wrong. I didn't manage to have more than one child : i spent all my money on dating people without their love growing... Didn't manage to save the planet long enough :(
Had a blast playing it. I think the HUD is too messy sometimes, informations displaying on top of others. Great job anyway !!
Really cool gameplay ! YOu managed to make it rewarding and sometimes really hard for a simple 2 buttons mechanic. The intro cutscene was too long for me, and by my personal taste, i didn't like the art style. Tried hard multiple times anyway !
Incredible game... Some collision / physic interactions are clunky, besides that, that was perfect. Great job.
Great game, really enjoyed it. The mechanics are great and the voice lines were fun. The endgame cinematic was really fun too ;)
Really cool game, i love this point n click feeling. Art is great too and, of course, the mouth sounds are amazing. Good job ! The interaction range is a bit small for some objects though.
Reminds me of "Getting over it", f***ed up physic game that make me rage instantly against myself. Great job, you nailed it ! Would have been nice to have some music !
Art is amazing on this one, and the gameplay too ! Sadly i could'nt make it to the end, the 2nd checkpoint killed my joy :( The downside for me is the level design, which is sometimes really frustrating, and the camera angle make you die too often. Beside that, it's for now the most polished game i tried ! Great job !
Pretty cool game ! I realized we could use the character's shadow get the flower in the light after 8 levels... I think the whole game could be better with a slower character while keyboards input are really hard to manage on some levels. Great job anyway !
One of the game that hooked me the most since I started my ratings ! I really would to help the kitty (who can dance if i'm correct... ) Really cool concept, art and polish !
Relaxing indeed ! A great entry for this jam, and a neat concept ! I didn't liked the music at all, found it really stressful for that kind of game. The possibility to put stuff in the middle of the sea is a bit confusing too.
Good job anyway, that was cool :D
Incredible mood ! Would love this game to continue and introduce more mechanics, but well, it's just a jam :) The concept really fits the theme and would play more ! The necromancy concept was one of our idea, and you did a great entry for it, better than we would do !
As others said, some sound, music and feedback would have been great ! And yeah, some political issues in here nah? x)
The graphics and lighting are beautiful, but i'm sad that the combat mechanics were this poor... I could zoom out camera to the sky, making me see the bounds of the map, looked weird x) Good job anyway, that kind of 3D games are incredibly hard to do on a game jam !
Pretty cool for a compo ! Cool abstract art style, and loved the room names. A lil bit too easy i think, while i didn't had to think a lot or make risky move to go anywhere.
Looks great, but i'm feeling stupid... I didn't understand what determine which cells will be destroyed by the wave. Had 2 cells of water on the spirit and the fire wave still made me loose... The idea still looks pretty good !
Amazing concept, and well performed. simple and beautiful ! As others said, there was some weird camera controls, but nothing to worry about. Good job !
I really loved the art style and music / sounds, but man... that's so hard. Even with understanding the movement pattern, i didn't managed to get pass through the fourth obstacle in the first level... as @shad said, i would have a video of you beating the game x)
Really cool game, sadly i'm alone to play it... Had fun messing around with the ball anyway ! Great job ! Maybe i don't get it but i don't really see the theme in the game ... And the no shell turtle would have been great too !
Nice boss fight. The controls are sometimes weird tho (if you don't finish the beam charge, it's on cooldown, contact strike doesn't always connect with the boss...) but really great and fun anyway !
Amazing graphics for a jam entry ! I really wan't to see more, but i'm getting rekt by the turrent on the second room ... Very frustrating !
Amazingly cool ! Mood is great and art style really worked for me. Good job ! Would get a brain to be bored again.
Too bad for the graphics, but music is really cool ! I wonder why people let their underpants everywhere in the house like that ... Well, it's great for us gnomes!
Absolutly loved the art style and mood ! But i think not seeing the character is making it more frustrating than it makes it difficult... Good job !
A little bit messy as the controls are weird, but it works and it's fun ! Should have been more polished (default buttons in menu, weird graphics...) but good job anyway !
pretty neat, too bad for the theme x) good job tho ! It starts to be a little bit too messy for me at some point, when the floor is covered with blood.
Really impressive for a single person ! Art style + sound + level design + progression + multiple inputs and interactions... Good job !
Hey ! Really cool atmosphere and mood. Sadly i couldn't go through the gate after picking the key. I have the opening sound, but the collider is still here.... 2 things bothered me me : The movements are stuttering, you may have forgot to multiply movement value by Time.deltaTime to make it smoother. The fog is really nice but it's fast if i go right, and static if i go left. You may should link it to the camera to make it independent of the character movement. Beside those little details, i really enjoyed your entry :D
That was one of our ideas, but we didn't knew how to make it interesting. you did it ! Just a little downside, i wish the texts lasts longer or i could choose when to discard them between cards.
That was soooo cool ! I did 3 arcade stressfull games in row for ldjams, i'm pleased to see some cool an relaxing stuff like that. As others, i was a little bit sad when seeds pop out of the screen... My disappointment disappeared when the next flower growed ! Good job !
Hey, looks really interesting (I love that kind of weird games) but sadly the sound button in the right click menu is not working for me. I only tried on Web build, maybe it's a bug related to that. (no rating for now so)
Imo, bullet disapearing is little bit weird, as well as bouncing meteorites. I think adding just a sound effect on impacts, maybe with a smooth shake camera would improve it a lot !
Great ! Feels accurate x) The reviews and ranking at the end are perfect x) A little UI drift bug occured when i played in max resolution(1440p) on the "real life" panels.
The idea is smart, it's simple and efficient, I really liked that ! I'm very impressed by the beautiful beautifulness of your game, and even more by the idle animations that were just enough to make the scene live, good job ! The tale aspect is nice too, but I would have like hints in the game itself (I didn't get why the princess screamed and why I was loosing for quite some tries). That being said, the sound and music are great, the art is heart melting, it's a great jam game ! Congratulations !
Great atmosphere, nice puzzles and cohesive music ! I really enjoyed how everything comes together so well. Even if don't really like the aesthetic, it was really really clear and efficient. I hope there'll be more puzzles, it was too short (and a bit too easy) ! Well done !
Nice one ! I liked the different ennemies, and the difficulty curve is nice. Also the way lifes are indicated is very fun ! A bad point for me though, the sound of jumping was quite repetitive (especially with the red ennemies). Had fun playing it :)
as @tgb20 said, it's a bit repetitive. And it's weird to aim at the opposite direction of the canon.
Good job anyway, it's well finished.
Well finished, the guy behind the screen was really creepy...
Well finished an well polished (thanks for the AZERTY layout !)
But the music was really low compared to other SFX. And i think i would like other enemy pattern.
Solid entry !
Feel free to check our game ;)
Well done !
The sprites are gorgeous. Maybe their are too much bullets, creating situations when it's impossible to dodge, which is a bit frustrating.
Good job anyway !
Come check our entry, we also did a top down shooter ;) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/shblow

Capitalism vs. Zombies by dratinyy 2023-10-03T14:56:27Z ♥ 5
Amazing game done in 3 days only ! There so much in it.
I found the balance a bit weird though, renting a lot, but not earning enough money for real upgrades. I feel like it would be better with more focus on renting mechanic (which is genius considering the theme) and less on difficulty progression that can be a real pain to balance properly.
Some sound design on shooting, hurting zombies, or menuing would be nice too !
Really impressive work !
(Tip : To avoid blurry pixel art assets, you should set the sprite "filter mode" to "Point (no filter)")
Bloody Barrels! by Lucas Vaudaine 2023-10-03T14:38:35Z ♥ 5
Simple yet great, well polished game !
I would like to have more to do besides just finding a key, maybe more steps before getting to the deck? Also i'm a little bit subject to motion sickness and i now have a nice headache, THANKS !
Maybe subtitles could be great for bad english speakers or no sound players, the voice lines are gold. It would be sad that someone don't get it :)
Great job !
Le Monde de Cortex by Xaneos 2023-10-03T14:25:01Z ♥ 5
Good game with good ideas. Graphics are on point with great mood. But sadly i think the physics is the real enemy here.
I abandoned the game because of the spheres. I couldn't manage to get them to there slot :(
The piano puzzle is also a great idea but waaaaaay too long. I managed to have like 6 notes in a row, and it wasn't done yet !
I would love to see a more polished / balanced and a little bit easier version of this game, which is already really cool.
Hasty Heist by captainzo 2023-10-03T13:55:00Z ♥ 4
Pretty good, and intresting. But i didn't understand how to get out before the end of the timer and just waited for the end, loosing sadly.
It's well polished and the idea of stacking thing on my back made me laugh. I wished it would stack every items instead of just "upgrade" items.
You could have paused the game with the list of items we should find before starting the timer, it could have make the player feel more like a thief planning home invasion :)
Great job !
Tiny Tour by Bugord 2023-10-03T13:33:34Z ♥ 2
Incredibly well done ! Art is great, sound and mood perfect, and level design on point, simple but addictive.
GG
Best entry i played so far.
Inferno Collapse by Zerbu 2023-10-03T13:23:10Z ♥ 2
Previous comments sum it up : character should be smaller, and respawning on the previous level seems weird and frustrating.
A lot of levels were not that interesting, just moving forward (or, vile sinner you are, a leap of faith !!) with no challenge. I think you should have focused more on the core experience of a platformer game than quantity of feature (combat / items / health) which are not theme related and not really relevant imo. Do less, do better, as.. i don't know who said.
Also, i have 3 screens, and the mouse is going away of the game window, making it sometimes hard to hit enemies :/
Pretty grim comment, focused on negatives, i'm sorry, but GG anyway ! Some levels were really great !
Claustrophobia by NoobGeek 2023-10-03T12:59:04Z ♥ 1
Amazing game! I really loved the idea, even it's not fitting the theme very well imo. I'm a big fan of "UI" and management game. Difficulty progression is great and i was really stressed before loosing !
Little Unity tips : - I played full screen and the UI was really small on my big chad screen. You can go to you Canvas and set Scaling to "Scale with screen size" instead of "Constant pixel size" - Some of your UI elements have standard Unity assets which are utterly ugly (it's pixelated af, and have a sidewalk grey color). You can set the sprite to "none" and it will display a nice white square and change it's color. It's not like it was a pretty asset, but cost nothing, takes no time, and is often prettier.
Great job !
Berg Jump by jds 2023-10-03T12:44:47Z ♥ 1
I agree with the other comments about RNG, it could work better, but it's a really fun game and i enjoyed it a lot when i managed to get a good run !
Jump velocity is bound to walk velocity and it's a bit hard sometimes to judge jump distance when changing direction.
Good job !
Bullfrog Burnie by Logan_Core 2023-10-03T12:07:54Z ♥ 3
Loved the game ! Great art and feedbacks.
I think you should put checkpoints on every level. I rage quit on level 10 after 3 tries because of the chore of doing the previous level again.
Big up to the animations, closing levels is an amazing idea !
RoboRage by Kr4sh3 2023-10-03T11:53:00Z ♥ 1
Cool game with interesting ideas, but sadly I can't progress after the first check points. Also i encountered a forge with no resources to spend besides screws, maybe i did something wrong? I feel like an upgrade is necessary...
Pretty hard to control too, maybe make the shooting direction following the mouse? Shooting down while jumping and moving is a bit overwhelming, for me at least :)
Scorched Asteroids! by svkj 2023-10-03T11:40:40Z ♥ 0
The physics, feedbacks and random generation is really great and i'm curious how you did it ! It may be too easy or clunky, it's just a jam game. I enjoyed the little time I spent on it !
I think missiles should collide with enemy tanks though. I missed a great shot :(
Limited in Space by MattHartley 2023-10-03T11:31:12Z ♥ 0
Pretty impressive game in pure C (made me nostalgic of my student times).
Colored asteroids add decision making and stress. It was great !
I had "Wasapi Error" on launch, and, sadly, no sound at all :/
PIO by sbeif 2023-10-03T11:18:36Z ♥ 2
Pretty neat level design you got here. Made me rage in frustration (in a good way). Once you understand it's a puzzle game, the experience is way better. Good job !
I had a bug :Pio.PNG
I think it happened when I ate while being jumping to the roof, but now I'm safe :3
A better game over / restart experience could be a good improvement but it's cool like that anyway !
