Cool 3D animations and definitely fun to play! Very easy game mechanics that's easy to understand. Great job!

Cool 3D animations and definitely fun to play! Very easy game mechanics that's easy to understand. Great job!
Ohhh yes! Definitely hits the theme, great idea (at least what you initially would think this game is about :D)!
Very intuitive game play, runs very smoothly. Neat graphics, awesome work!
I love that! Very intuitive, fitting for the theme and a very cute art style too! Keep it up ❤️
I'm always impressed when people do so much 3D animations in their jam games. Really cool! Music has a nice galactic vibe too.
Had a bit of trouble understanding the mechanics though
Thanks so much you all!
And @human-writes-code thank you especially, great feedback! The missing UI sounds were indeed something we were a bit unsatisfied with.
But we all enjoy our popcorn while reading through your comments ^^
Thank you @kekle for the great feedback! We were a bit afraid that the mechanics are to hard to understand, that's why we added this (undoubtedly verbose) intro tutorial. Apparently we could have saved some time doing that ^^
@janku Well well, choose your partners with care :D But great to hear that you like it, thanks for the feedback!
@arscene Ah yes! Great feedback, I didn't think about the game size inclarities when changing the itch.io page. I will adapt that right away!
@bdiaztobarra Thanks for the awesome feedback!
You are intended to get one match at most (we're not judging polyromanticism here but the way the offspring is created is just easier :D). But of course if the "normal" actions are stuck, that is a bug. We'll look into it!
@eryph , @dodidouda , @maadln and @zombiebust3r : Thanks for your positive feedback! We'll definitely add some more sound UI feedback in our next game
@jonas-l , @tosmaster , @snowycocoon, @wouter52 and @kristinamay Thanks so much for the positive feedback! We're really glad you liked our game ^^
And @caym thanks for mentioning the color pallete! That was important to me so you appreciating it really touches my art heart  We realized during the last testing that cost informations on the card would have been good but were too short on time. So good feedback indeed!
@arqitech and @ginxel Thanks for your good feedback!
@joedev The 72 hours were indeed a challenge for us. We finished last minute... Luckily, all three of us work as software developers / in IT for a living, so that helped a lot :P GameMaker Studio 2's built-in functions, easy shape generation in Photoshop and an enormous lack of sleep did the rest ^^
Thanks so much for your great feedback!
@kazuonomura Thank you! We're glad that you liked the graphics and music!
@edusilva Yeah, next time we'll try to simplify our mechanics a little bit more. Thanks for the compliment!
@mog13 The color palette and art compliments still caress my soul ^^
@myttz Thank you very much for the good feedback! Indeed we wanted to integrate a certain randomness into the dating phase (the more intelligent you and your partner are, the more bigger is the chance that the opera has a positive effect). But I actually agree that we could have made this better. The impact of your attributes on this chance is very little. We should habe made that more clear
@anaxie-studio Thanks for your detailed feedback, that was very valuable! We love that you liked the art, breeding mechanics and our little jokes. But the heartBar (and the fact that it APPEARS to be full although it's not entirely because a part of the bar is covered by the heart sprite) was definitely something that was not well polished and led to misunderstandings.
And thank you so much for the "I’d love to see more from you guys!". That one caused a big "Awww" among us
@wlqwos , @hechi and @vivyhasadream Thank you so much for the positive comments! You guys form a really great community. We are very happy to have dived into it!
@nsadie Thank you for that constructive feedback! Audio feedback would indeed have been a good thing to add, we totally agree. We might do an update after the ratings are over and will think about that in our next games!
By "panel with the result" you mean the text area in the dating screen? We didn't really know where to put that, but you're right, it did turn out pretty small. We should probably have given it some more central place. The font size would probably not have been that much of an issue if we had known how to make the graphics and fonts sharper (which literally drove me crazy. I started searching forums like a maniac about why Gamemaker does this. Luckily I found out so that won't be a problem in future projects).
A changing backdrop is a nice idea! Next time we'll now how to use shaders and particles, so the graphics will hopefully be more responsive!
Easy and good concept, nice animations and neat colors! Great job!
The itch.io display is veeeery big though.
God, I love this one so much. Awesome graphics (really awesome, love the animations and characters), very fun and easy minigames, a good mechanic.
Unfortunately (like you announced) some bugs on chrome and on firefox blocked/visited doors appear with an oversized black rectangle.
5 Points on each though, I'm really impressed
A very well deserved second place in the graphics category (although I would have given you the first). Once again: Awesome game, I bow to your artistic skills!
Wow, astounding graphics! It has a very strong atmosphere and fits the theme very well. Really great work!
The game somehow sucks in my cursor though and doesn't release it anymore... But that might be an individual bug
Very beautiful game! The in-game tutorial was excellent and the mechanics are really solid. The characters have super cute look and you did very well with dialogues. Congrats!
Love how you used a black bird doctor to make it look like a beak mask :D
Couldn't open the game on my mac unfortunately :( The graphics look very promising thought
@garymarance I can't really tell you that :/ It gives me this screen:
Screenshot 2022-04-05 at 13.20.45.png
I love the card art, the music has a great vibe and you really found a fitting and funny idea for this jam's theme! I was bit lost with the mechanics at the beginning too though :D
I generally like the idea and having a game where collecting dinosaur poop gives you money certainly has a market. But I agree that it's very clicky and the colours / art is a bit dull.
Good entry though! You implemented it smoothly
Really awesome work! Greatly polished graphics work, nice audio feedback, simple and elegant mechanics that fits the theme. Bravo!
It's a bit laggy in the browser sometimes though.
Really great mechanic idea, opens up so many possibilities! An awesome puzzle game!
Uh, very cool! Nice idea, very chessy. Your pixel art is great here, the music is very upbeat. Seeing that there are characters which haven't been unlocked yet is a great motivation.
Awesome design that runs very smoothly. Thumbs up!
Really fun and motivating game, nice graphics and lit music too. Great work!
Graphically a very nice little pixel game and I like the unusual mechanic, well done!
That is great! Very nice graphics and animation, easy to play and a funny idea. Great Work!
Love the super-extendable necks :D
Really great art and a smooth game play! The problem with including an introduction tutorial is nicely solver by this funny dialogue. Bravo!
I found mastering the key strokes to dash up quite hard thought.
The colors and drawn graphics are a blast, love that! Simple and cool idea
Lovely little farming simulator. Graphics are very appealing and the music is very chill. You added multiple keys for standard actions, I like that!
Can I remove the weed while a plant is growing though? I would have expected that
Wow, that's really impressive, great art and animation! You really put some hard work into that baby
Awesome! Very appealing color palette, nice mood and (REALLY) impressive and polished graphics for 48 hours. I first didn't see the control explanation on the itch.io site, so a little in-game annotation that 'x' is for shooting would have made it perfect.
Very great work! May I ask which engine you used?
Wow, suprisingly hard but very well executed! The graphical representation is just great, I love the simple style. Sound design is excellent as well. Great job!
A skip option for the dialogue at the beginning would have been nice
I really like that while running, the player is holding the baby just like a football :D Lazy as always, I also skipped the quite long intro texts and just gave every parent a baby without remembering the colors
But apart from the long tutorial texts, that's a nice game! The music fits very well and I especially like that going through doors changes the left side of the game instead of changing the whole room. Well solved!
Beautifully weird :D I somehow broke the controls mid-game but pressing space too early. But I really love your idea and the execution. Great entry
Thank you so much @adam-gaskins and @phanelly! And very good feedback with the restart button @phanelly, that would absolutely have made sense. We will include it in a later version
Aww, thank you guys, we're swimming in dopamine ❤️ We're so glad you like it. We'll do a big play session with your games this afternoon after work
Thank you all!
@mahjoub: Hehe, glad that you like it! My hubby came up with that idea @benk: Picking up items uses an action too, so deliver the burger before you take the sushi. Also: You don't have to deliver items to the front door, delivering it from the right to the building works too ^^ @ido: Thank you so much! We playtestet it yesterday evening before uploading, so hopefully all levels should be solvable :D (hopefully! I haven't tested it after upload completely)
@bp321 Mafia Game with cute art style, we like that 🔫🫀^^
Be patient @stingby12, more interesting cargo will come with higher levels. I don't want to give solutions here, but did you realise you do not have to deliver all items? And maybe picking up the second pizza at last is good here because you have to travel a longer way with it...
Thank you all, especially @pauljs, @fuse-in-a-bowl and @humanisred for the constructive feedback!
@pauljs: Ah I see your problem. We wanted to make clear which house was a supplier and which a consumer. Maybe using arrows here wasn't the best indicator. We'll think of another solution in the next version! If you've got a nice idea which doesn't overload the UI, let us know!
@fuse-in-a-bowl: We indeed cannot avoid the "tip system" completely since it delivers a lot of possibilities to form puzzles. Mh, we'll think about how we can maybe introduce this a bit later. I mean sushi is cold anyway, we could stop using the freshness indicator there maybe...
@humanisred: That is very good feedback. Changing from mouse to keyboard to mouse annoyed me too during development. We will make the game keyboard-only-accessible in the next version after the jam. Also: Your game looks super cool, I can only repeat
@qwillak Thank u! Yeah, we should probably either give a hind for level 4 or push change its order :D
Thanks for the compliments! @elisagonda: The retry button is indeed the first thing we'll add after the jam. And just like @jonrei remarked: You don't always have to deliver all items. Sometimes there even isn't a consumer for an item that can be supplied
@kongo: You will get that mate!
@aschab: Nah, stop it you... *starting to blush*
Thanks for the positive feedback y'all!
Special thanks to @fodi, @mashupgames, @naixgames and @greenphox for remarking what annoyed you. That's very valuable.
We can see that we went a bit too far with the superfluous items in some levels. We'll use less of them with in next version.
For the missing restart button, keyboard actions and the devilish levels 4 and 11: Top priorities for the post-jam version
Also: Very cool avatar image @mashupgames
Thank you all so much! We're so thrilled to see all these amazing games in this jams and get your positive feedback for our game as well ^^
@weirdbitgames: Thanks man! Some french friends of mine gave me strong bossa nova vibes during the last months and I reaaaally wanted to incorporate that into a game. And since I'm not very good at making up rhythms myself, also some kudos to this guy here for his video on how to make a classic bossa nova beat:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asvM7cyHp3I
Wow, that's impressive! The character control feels super smooth and natural, no unnecessary sliding, very good. The slower movement with the heavy box - great.
Graphically, that's also very appealing; the subtile tutorials hints were included in a very elegant manner.
Very well done guys! Especially considering your age - just wow
Understandable mechanics and a achieve to convey a very spooky atmosphere! The graphics are also super appealing. Very well done!
It already took me some time in the first room to understand you could use the stairs. Making the elements you can interact with stand out a bit more by adding thicker lines or something similar would have helped me I think
You rEELly made all of out that little word in your game description, my dad would be proud of you.
Gamewise: Wonderful idea for a puzzle game and graphically very appealing. I love that the textures move independently from the eels, reminds me of Keepvogel movies from my childhood.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQQ_cFTn2ug
The music fits very well too. Great job, keep it up!
Wow, what a game! That's ultra polished. Awesome graphics and animation. The soundtrack is fantastic. You seem to work super well together as a team, great great job!
That's so simple in the mechanics but yet so challenging and manages to hook you immediately! Very well done, the music is catchy too! Love it ❤️🐒
Top notch graphical representation, I love your style! Very nice idea as well, also with the letters which are non-text-based (like this little portrait puzzle). A wonderful entry for this game jam which fits the theme perfectly. I'm sure this will be among the top games <3
Maybe the letter texts could be a bit shorter/easier/give more graphical hints in the beginning though and become longer/more difficult with progress. The demanded reading motivation from the player is quite high in the beginning otherwise
Uh wow, very nice one! Love the old map graphics, every UI element fits the style very well. Using the dotted paths on the map which you can control by the mouse is such a great idea, you made an awesome mechanic out of that known graphical element.
Great job, congrats mate!
This game is so addictive! Nice art and nice sound - I love it. Thumbs up.
Great art and really nice gameplay! It was so much fun driving around! Thumbs up!
Little game, easily understandable mechanics, a solid entry for a game jam. Great adaptive sound design!
I love that game, bravo! It holds so much content for a three day game and the sorting part gives a nice contrast to the delivering parts. So polished, graphically a little masterpiece, very well done. Also the sound design gives us very happy vibes.
I would have needed the fact that this crossbow for delivery is in fact a cross bow (and not a direction arrow) a bit more to my face. I followed that "arrow" for the first 2 minutes without realising I could use it with my mouse
Okay lol, you will definitely get a 5/5 for Humour on that one :D Very fun game with self-explanatory mechanics, great job!
Great game and super impressive for 48 hours, hats off! The graphics are superb and cute, the mechanics are self-explanatory. Well done!
Graphics look veeery promising but I must agree with @alex-chertilin
Ahh nice! I love the graphical style and the vibes it gives, it's really fun to play around with, good job!
But honestly, I'm too stupid for that game :D Understanding what picking up the color and letting it go again does exactly was somehow hard to understand for me
Wonderful game! Simple, self-explanatory mechanics, a natural increase of difficulty with the increasing speed and changing belts and top-notch happy vibe graphics. That's a perfect example of what a jam game should be like.
I have nothing to criticize here, awesome job!
Super cute little platformer! Very appealing color palette (awesome graphics, I love it) and smooth movement mechanics. Congrats, you did a great job ❤️
Maybe move the "Pelobati Throwing" Explanation a bit up on the itch.io page. I didn't read it at first (which is my bad of course, but if it doesn't catch your eye immediately, you know...)
What a nice game, very cute idea and great execution! I just really wished I had a touch screen, playing it with a trackball is just horrible :D The logo designs are actually pretty cool too
Your build seems to be Windows Only, so I couldn't play it unfortunely.
But the Graphics above look super awesome and being able to build your own monster-truck-like delivery verhicle sounds just great, hats off! If you manage to make a Web or Mac Build somehow, I will be in for playing!
God is that difficult to play :D Well implemented but hard anyway (I'm lacking skill here)
On your side, just as usual: Great idea and superb graphics. Everything feels super polished, congrats to the whole team.
Very appealing visual design! That's an awesome job on its own for such a short amount of time. Well done!
But being not too much of a strategy player, I struggled a bit with understanding the mechanics.
Definitely the best title I've seen so far :D Easy concept, very difficult for me personally though, couldn't get past the first twenty-ish seconds. Great work though!
@mikan, @is-a-hatbox, @jb-rock, @xeridian, @midamida: Thanks so much! <3
@drgrognak: Ah damn it, yes I had the blending out of the last "next level" button on my todo list but couldn't finish it (along with a lot of other things, sadly...). Holding the arrow keys is a good idea too! I will include that, thanks for the feedback!
@justine-olshan: Oh no, I forgot to make the top row unreachable for items... Dang, that ruins the puzzles a bit. I will try to publish a hot fix today or tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback! For the big objects: The objects will not move if in the new position, the arm would be "in the way", that's true. I wanted to make granny say something about this once it happens but you know... old people are hard to lecture
Oh wow, thanks so much guys!! It was our first jam after a child-break and we really missed that positive atmosphere and the warm words within the jammer community <3
@yopin, @nivbeth, @dxk2294, @jacobingalls, @flying-butter-studio, @bestdtang, @pixelstuff, @alopar, @lev-ramburg, @ybzpp, @yoav-kagan, @lexi: Thank you all so much!
@xivo: Thanks! And yes, I agree, the "hack" really ruins some levels. Hopefully I can deliver a fix until the weekend, that mechanic was definitely not intended.
@borabee: >her absolute confidence that the kid’s serious issues could be sorted with candy
Oh yesss, we're very happy to hear that part of her character (which we love too!) became visible ^^
@moonlightbomber: My husband did the level design and I got stuck there too! :D
@rose: Thanks, very good remark! You're right, we will consider that, the levels with multiple children didn't really create the level of difficulty we intended.
@braktheman: It was a sweet death though :candy:
@scoobysnacks: Thanks! >Granny was a notorious pickpocketer in her past.
What?! Who would say such things? Be careful with those words, granny knows how to handle her handcuffs...
@adamsmccall: Aww, thanks so much! All kudos with the level design go to my husband, he was a busy bee :bee:
@0x-void-x0, @nepturenus, @LyaMgtt, @xWilQ, @Cr_nch, @cluster7ck, @dywanix, @vary, @tetracold, @sarafilipa, @mao, @ln404, @matthewdrake, @texugo, @nbumgardner, @yuri-antonov, @librory, @julienlussiez, @blushingcrow, @fix, @jacky-san: Thank you all so much for the kind and heartwarming comments! It really made our day to see that you enjoyed playing our little game. 💛
@kalabhers: Thanks so much! We will definitely leave a feedback on your game too! We already played your game and absolutely loved it — so a big special thanks in return for your lovely feedback!
@onlyallygrace: Thank you!! We definitely had a ton of fun making it!
@chloew: Thanks! You're totally right — we didn’t have much time to add sound in the first version. We’ve included a few effects in the post-fix build to improve player feedback, but there’s still plenty of room for more!
@kurakurture: Thanks a lot — and what great, detailed feedback! I completely agree, the lack of feedback was one of the things I found most frustrating as well. I tried to address it in the post-fix version, though grabbing and moving still lack sound (and they really should!). That’s something I want to fix in a future version — and use the opportunity to build a better SFX library for upcoming projects (currently I have two sounds I reuse for everything 😅).
@xivo, @rose: We’ve adjusted the game so that placing items above the top row as a workaround should no longer be possible. Thanks again for catching that! 💖
@ohjuliego: We really appreciated that suggestion and added the ability to hold down arrow keys to move faster in the hotfix version — super helpful feedback, thank you!
As for auto-retraction: I thought about it early on, but decided against it since it would reduce the challenge of repositioning larger items — which we wanted to preserve. But for single-tile items you’re absolutely right, that would have been a great feature!
@sadvest: That’s so funny — my boss had the exact same issue when playing 😄 We're from Germany, so candy corn isn’t really a thing here either. We’ve kept it in for now, but might swap it out for something more recognizable in the future. Thanks for sharing your experience!
@KinArt: Yep, the hotfix took a bit longer than expected — toddler at home + full-time job = time gets weird fast 😅 But we finally got there and managed to address most of the feedback. Thanks so much for your comment and rating!
@arthur-tang: Thanks for the lovely feedback! And we’re very glad we didn’t make that unintended top-row workaround more obvious before we removed it 😄 It’s fixed now in the post-fix version!
@tobius: Great point, thank you! Adding a few more animation frames would definitely make things smoother. I'll try to include that in a future update!
@megl: Thanks a lot! Yes, some moves were unintentionally blocked — that was a bug. It should be fixed in the post-fix version now!
@rincs: Oh no 😅 Yes, that was indeed a bug — the “next level” button wasn’t locked after being pressed, so multiple presses triggered overlapping scene loads. That should be fixed in the latest version. Thanks for reporting it!
@thomas-bringer: Thank you for the thoughtful comment! I’ve been wondering how far we can push the difficulty with this mechanic as well. We definitely plan to add some more challenging levels in the future and rework the older ones a bit.
@mikan: AHHH thank you!! We actually showed your playthrough to some friends last Sunday — it was so helpful (and fun)! ❤️
@caonosphere: Really great point — and something I hadn’t thought about! You're absolutely right: having multiple children only adds difficulty at the beginning, and the rest of the level gets easier. We’ll probably keep the current levels as-is, but I’ll definitely focus more on one-child setups in future levels. Thanks for the smart analysis!
@lllarso: Thanks for the comment! I agree — the current levels aren’t super tough. We wanted to ease players in at first. Non-moveable elements are a great i
Absolutely love it! This clicker game is incredibly engaging – working alongside the little miners really gives it a fun, cooperative feel. The presentation is top notch!
Very good entry! Gameplay and graphics are very self-explanatory and the "layer" levels offer a very good progression in difficulty. Personally, I would remove the time limit: getting through the level which throws you back when touching enemies is difficult enough in itself (and seeing that you only have 12 seconds left for the last layer, so obviously not being able to make it was a bit of a downer :D).
Good job, congrats!
I'm just baffled by how impressive the art of this game is. Starting from the color palette, to the lightning to the character design. How can people be so incredibly good at creating graphics?
Awesome entry, awesome mood and interesting, explorative game play, congrats for that great entry! *My artist hats off*
The graphics are absolutely gorgeous and the different body parts that can be attacked and severed independently of each other are a super creative idea! An excellent jam entry!
That looks SO good! Really big congrats to the artist, amazing work. For the game design: Very easy to understand and cool interpretation of the theme but too hard for me personally. Great job though!
Oh, a very interesting interpretation of the theme! Also the cozy, sleepy mood is captured greatly, very smooth gameplay. Great work! I would probably like to add a running option though, the movement speed is very slow.
ARRRGH *squeaks in childish glee*, it's so weird and goofy, I love it! Great gameplay, very catchy and super-appealing in-minigame-graphics (also very polished for the amount of time you had, that sure was a lot of work to put it all together). You made an awesome jam entry, congrats!
For the teeth-fixing game maybe a tiny bit more time would be nice :D
Marvellous! Very creative idea yet so simpel idea and beautifully executed! Hats off, that's an easy five stars in all categories for me.
I love the idea of recreating the depth of colors and the dreamy atmosphere. Very relaxing for in between, but at some point I was just flying around pressing the right mouse button without dodging the shots. More items that you have to return the color to would be great! Great work!
I love it! Takes some time to get good at the controls but then, it's very catchy. I came here for the butts and wasn't disappointed <3
Urgh, I love it! Like a perfect combination of A little to the left and Unpacking. If it was a full game, packed with more cute levels, I would definitely buy it! This will certainly be among the top entries of this jam.
That's such a great idea, wonderfully implemented with incredible animations and great sound design! Super impressive for a compo entry, hats off! I didn't get past layer three though, not sure if this was a bug or I was just to stupid to get the rules when I can change layers :D
Wow, this is such a minimal yet incredibly creative idea — I absolutely love it! Bringing the actual player into the challenge is brilliant — that’s real artistry. Easiest 5 stars I've given for innovation. And I’m also in love with the minimal art style!
