Your build seems to be Windows Only, so I couldn't play it unfortunely.
But the Graphics above look super awesome and being able to build your own monster-truck-like delivery verhicle sounds just great, hats off! If you manage to make a Web or Mac Build somehow, I will be in for playing!

wooo nice game! good job on the art, music and idea! never seen an idea like this before, which makes it so fun and engaging for me!
Great idea and game!! But I think there can be more tutorial in-game what the player going to do and how to build the vehicle (atleast here in description). It took 15 mins to figure out how to build the vehicle.
But Great Game!

**I loved making this monstrosity!!!**
The game is incredibly fun and car building part is very robust which is shocking considering this game was made in a few days (I assume this is a _jam_ kind of game and not _compo_, which would be even more incredible). The art style and music are also great - I like when the music transitions from building to delivering part.
At the first moment, it was kind of overwhelming seeing all the parts of the building and not understanding what each of them is doing. But after a minute or two I figured out cause it was not as complicated as I was imagining (_and it shouldn't be complicated!_) which gave me a gratification moment.
Also looove small details, like exploding rockets after a while . Controls and movement are smooth and I feel like greatly tuned. The goals of each level are easy to grasp with a little bit of a challenge which is appreciated. Overall with all of the complexities involved with building a car - the game was straightforward and fun. I enjoyed every bit of it!
I feel like rambling cause there is a lot to say about this game but I hope you get my point - it's great!
Small suggestions (not a big deal for me and doesn't affect how I rate this game): - After quitting/winning the level - do not delete the current vehicle _of that level_. Perhaps have a 3-slot system for created vehicles per level, so that a player can revise their car to finish with more stars - Cars with umbrellas are kind of wonky. Car with them is incredibly hard to accelerate (maybe I did something wrong with placing them). But more rockets solved the problem easily :sunglasses:

This is very ambitious! You've included a lot of features and the are pretty polished for such a short amount of time! The controls are really tight and the aesthetic is real cool. I think doing the actual building with the jetpack mode was cool but quite slow which made it hard to try/fail/iterate which I think is a core part of the fun with this kind of game. There might be a way to incorporate the jetpack in another way since it did feel good to fly around? You should check out this entry too as it's similar to yours but it's a pretty different take - way more silly lol https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53/release-the-meat

Oh wow, this is excellent technically. Everything I tried building worked just as I expected it to.
The audio in this is also so solid, just tied everything together so nicely.
Also reflecting on it now, you've done such a good job at making things intuitive enough to not need a tutorial. Even though there's a lot going on, the design choices are clear enough that you can just dive right in.
If I had to nitpick, I wish there was a way to summon the cargo while inside the vehicle. I really like the feeling of having to get out and press the button to load my contraption the first few times... but many iterations later it starts feeling like a chore.
Great work.
Finally I am the one who makes bicycle for Gravity defied! Building opportunities are nice but also strange because I don't know what is the purpose of some parts. Wheels and accelerators are clear but I didn't have a clue why there are some large parts and just used them to store deliveries on the roof. Might be a good idea to start lvl1 with the premade car that would make it to the end but without the delivery and would show which parts you really need and which player could use to delivery. Overall the game is fun and has nice audio and graphics. Great job and wish you a good jam

What if Bad Piggies but awesome.
I wish the assembly process was a bit faster and more user friendly, but that's really all I can complain about. My favorite game of the jam so far!
Great work! "Why isn't the big red button, you know... red?" Very solid entry, I'm not a huge fan of the visual choice of keeping a single tone, and ended up muting the game because over three levels the game music got really repetitive (is the title screen track longer? I love it, it's so good!) The gameplay is brilliant, especially for jam scope. Very impressive to see great character movement, vehicle building, and all of that without jank. Just wow! Cheers!
insane video game, nice work frog lad & crew!!

Really incredible work; I'm impressed on a technical and aesthetic and conceptual level. I will echo some other comments in that I found the assembly process a little frustrating. I does take a while to get oriented, but once that hurdle is passed it's really fun to try to put something together. In a longer/more polished version of this game, I'd probably start with an even more simple array of parts so that the player can get used to the building process more gradually.
I love this. i made a spaceship

Huge amount of work, wow. Graphics and sounds are brilliant. Gameplay is kind of Bad Piggies, but with free construction, what is nice innovation here. Cars with umbrellas are hard to drive, so on the last level I tryed to make some kind of flying thing, but the height of the screen made it hard to control (because sometimes I сouldn't see it). Somekind of save/load your machine is also would be great. But overall, It's SO GOOD, well done.

Love it, the art and gameplay are so good!
Man this was awesome! Reminded me of bad piggies from way back when, loved the amount of combinations you could make, and doing stuff like keybinds was really interesting and novel, felt a bit hard to jump right into which really you want to avoid for a jam game but when you finally get into it then it's *amazing*. Great work.

Wow! What a marvelous game. Let's start with visuals and music, very nice, fit's perfectly. I love the concept of build the car and try to use it for delivering the object trough peculiar track. Very good job making such polished game just during a jam. This can be easily made into mobile game and do quite well.
Pros - innovative and really fun - challenging tracks
Cons - just a small grip, after finishing level, instead of going to the next level give player an option if he wants to continue or restart the level to try better star score
Wow! This type of game is my weak spot! I spent almost a year in the past making a game about airships with same ideas like this game!
I really appreciate the simplicity of creating a vehicle, this is never should be underrated!
Style is amazing!
Had an awesome time playing this game!
Had a lot of fun building failures for vehicles lol. Visuals are great, animations are smooth, feels good to run around and jump. Music is cool. Great job yall.
This is the second game I've seen in the jam that started with a vehicle design mechanic. The vehicle design section in this project was easy to understand, but I'm wondering what the appeal is for this genre. was there some hit indie game I don't know about that started this way?
This game is really good! It feels so good to build something you came up with and its fun to then try to deliver stuff using it. Great job
Oh wow this game is soo cool! I can't know how do you achieve this in a short amount of time. really love the whole aesthetic, wish there are a tutorial stage to make the first gameplay easier but overall very good!
What a level of polish in such a short amount of time! Everything is well-crafted, from the animations to the visuals and music. The two-stage gameplay is really enjoyable, and everything runs smoothly. It makes you want to spend hours finding the best vehicle concept. Congratulations to the team!

damn this is awesome! a whole vehicle construction sim in a ludum dare entry, that's incredible. art and music are really nice, gameplay is a bit finnicky, but i think that's mostly just due to the flimsy physics. the last level is particularly difficult! i dont know how you'd ever be able to get it to the end without tipping enough to spill. either way, really cool game! amazing amount of work for the jam.
@torcado haha, actually somebody on our discord server did it! I made a tweet about it. Also thanks for playing!!
Holy crap!!!! :open_mouth: This was so much fun to play. Experimenting with the different parts was a blast. (Even if ending in total failure on multiple attempts)
I'm blown away how much you were able to fit into this jam. It's insane!
Everything is so ridiculously awesome. The player animations are crazy good. I absolutely loved the feeling of being the builder in his garage, welding together random parts... and I think all the player controls and amazing animations really added to that feel. (Rather than simply an editor). The building part was a big aspect of the game, and felt immersive, rather than separate.
I am in awe.
This was one of my first (failed) attempts at my vehicle :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Incredibly fun game! I love the freedom of creativity you guys managed to pack into this in such a short amount of time. Great job!
