The humor is on point! I loved the news overlay, along with the controls of the kraken. This was a really fun game. Congratulations

This was a really fun game! A nice take on a classic block pusher. Unlike every other puzzle game ever made I actually beat it! haha really though good job :)
Really fun game, nice pixel art, amazing music. Congrats!
@judgezedd Watch out for the sad turtle! I'm glad you enjoyed
@fatebreak I would have added an ending, but this closely matches my past experiences, having a happy ending doesn't feel right as even years later I'm still not completely happy
@kroyisyork-games Thanks very much
@vimlark Thank you, thank you!
@jinny-kang Thank you! I would have added checkpoints but 48hrs haha
@namidasai with the whole shoehorned thing, I was panicking that i needed to finish the story or the scope would hit me. So really i just stabbed that last line in without thought. If i was to go back i would have changed it. Thank you for playing!
Really neat game dude! The mechanic is presented nicely, the visuals look alright. Overall really good game for 48 hours
Really fun game, reminded me a lot of "There is no game." My best was 151 laps. Good work :D
Really fun game! The concept is really cool, I'd add some audio then it'd be perfect :) Good work for 48 hours
Really fun game, it's really calming and chilled out. With more stances and other features this could grow into something incredible, Good work.
@baldwinthree You’ve done nothing wrong, a complete accident on my part. I’ll look into what in the world I’ve done tomorrow. I’m so so sorry. If I can’t get it fixed I’ll have to take the game down sadly though.
@retrisma Thank you, yeah that’s a game breaking bug that I didn’t spot due to my powerful pc. I’ll try to fix that tomorrow. I’ll keep you updated. So sorry.
@chameth It’s okay! There’s a game breaking bug to do with frame rate related issues that I’m going to fix soon I promise. I’ll be mentioning everyone that rated so far to come back when it’s done :)
@jcmonkey The jump is usually higher and the game has coyote time, there’s a game breaking bug to do with frame rate related issues that I’ll fix soon. I’ll @ you when it’s done :)
@jcmonkey (to do with the jump)
BEST GAME FROM LUDUM DARE 49 YET WOOOOO GO COMFY JOOCE
Great entry, I love the little squash n stretch on the guy, the puzzles are really creative as well. I feel as if the jump is a little floaty though, like the character is in space. If you continue this in the future consider changing the physics a little to make satisfyingly good jumps. Well done!
Really good! I love the charming music along with how after each delivery it gets harder. I feel as if the movement could be less floaty when jumping and more sudden to change direction. Sometimes the enemies spawn on me which can be a problem. Great work, especially for a first game jam.
Everything I expected out of a Punkcake game, so much fun, spent a while trying to get further and further
Loved it all, felt challenging at first but I was lasting over a week before I knew it. I wish there was a shadow to help better judge shape rotation, and an auto sprint option, but apart from that it's an amazing game and impressive you made it all in 48 hours by yourself.
Did the impossible and completed it, I've seen this all over LD streams and it lives up to its name, I really quite enjoyed it! I felt like I didn't need the orange clouds so I wish there was an option to disable it. I get the reason for the addition though. Good work! I killed babies!
Really fun, got really frantic and I loved that, you really mastered that chaotic feeling! I wish maybe there was a risky sprint or something with a penalty for messing up, something to let experienced players get a lot more points! Screenshot 2023-05-04 131847.png Great work :)
Such a great idea, finally got round to playing it off stream, and I've got to say, it's interesting and just clever in general, turning an interesting mechanic like that and turning it into something engaging is so hard, and you nailed it. Well done.
Good stuff, felt fun to play, enemies were varied, enjoyed the retro atari-ish graphics, life system seemed rather pointless but I suppose it makes sense with scoring! GG
Good stuff, NES graphics hit me in the feels, you did it perfectly! Box mechanic was clever.
Oh wow, this was amazing!!! The art's so well done, and the amount of content is mad, I loved seeing all the different truck combos you can make, final boss was additionally really sick. Wish the bullets had drawings instead of placeholders! Also felt a bit hard to dodge everything at once and sometimes there was almost no way out of an attack. Still amazing job, you all did well, I've been following your work since gamename!
Nice little strategy clicker, wish there was a bit more progression as it falls short quite short, however it's fun for a few minutes!
Quite fun! Keeping up the combo was really challenging, especially when delivery points become more sparse.
I got 760! A C for that feels a bit underwhelming, I think you've got to consider the length people will play your game for, plus I'd say it already felt quite hard at that point! Graphics and music is cute, I'm getting big flash vibes, great work.
Awesome, huge Annalyn fan, I really enjoyed this, a mix between SMB and the original Mario bros arcade game, levels are clever, feels fun to stun 3 enemies at once and then go to the door for big points! Despite it being styled after NES it feels so polished. Well done.
Really fun, movement felt a *bit* clunky, I feel like sometimes you don't know where you're going and the glide starts a bit late, still though, everything was sooooo cute, and the music was quite nice. Lovely work!
Eughhhh so goooood! I love the art, too adorable, all the mechanics are so well implemented and clever, I have no complaints, brilliant work.
Decently fun little space shooter, has a nice amount of polish, and stuff like upgrades and enemies warping into your base add a whole new layer! I'd recommend adding a tutorial so things are a bit more clear in terms of the overarching goal. Great work.
Loved the 2.5D, art in general looked really nice, loved all the different mechanics, personally the robots that pass blocks were my favorite! No complaints!
Oh this was brilliant! Your classic precision platformer, but the mechanics like parrying off enemies made it awesome, artstyle was brilliant, entire package in general was! Huge well done.
Why hello there! Fellow bird jammer, this was awesome, I felt my fans starting to go (lmao) but none the less this game was graphically stunning, would've loved a setting to maybe tone down the graphic quality.
Cool, loving all the box games this jam (mine included!), the amount of levels is awesome, congrats on designing that much, all the mechanics like sliding and super jumps add so much more. Well done.
Oh this was really funny, got me laughing out loud, super tricky and hard to manage, but I think that's what makes this game tbh! Graphics were quite good too, decent modelling and I loved the mouth on the pelican!
Really cool, florida energy 100%, I florida'd all over the place, well polished!
Clever idea! Decently enjoyed it, hard to judge where the arm is when it's coming down sometimes, nice work though :)
Simple yet really well executed, you knocked it out of the park, juggling 6 of em at once was challening! Good push and pull risk and reward game design, love to see that. Great work.
Was such a blast! You knocked it out of the park, feels like a classic movementy Matt game. Felt a bit easy but it's understandable with it being a gamejam, with the uppercut I could see a full moveset turning this into a technical platformer. Either way, art and polish was brilliant, sound and music was dope, and the gameplay and design was top notch. Great work.
One of my favorites! Writing and gameplay was so slick and having the enemy mob was a nice added challenge, art was amazing as expected, all round just awesome, would've loved maybe an indicator on where to go but I think having to figure that out for yourself better fits the vibe you're going for. Good stuff!
Oh brilliant, never been to a roller bar but this makes me want to go to one! Bugulon standards as always are high, and you have managed to meet them.
Really fun, movement was really interesting, grapple felt a bit short and the hoverboard was a bit slippery, but still excellent!
Really decent game Viktor! I enjoyed the gameplay, felt a bit repetitive doing the same thing for 90 seconds straight however, the puzzle solving element was cool, I don't know what happens if you get any wrong but either way, it was a cool extra gimmick. Congrats.
Really good, crushing the zombies feels so awesome, wish there was some more variation in enemies but still so juicy, artstyle is great as always, and the sounds are impactful!
@badpiggy Great work! I'll be right on that postjam.
Really fun stuff, making a deckbuilder for compo is bonkers man! Huge well done, boss felt a bit hard but I can't blame you, encourages experimentation.
Man this was awesome! Reminded me of bad piggies from way back when, loved the amount of combinations you could make, and doing stuff like keybinds was really interesting and novel, felt a bit hard to jump right into which really you want to avoid for a jam game but when you finally get into it then it's *amazing*. Great work.
This was awesome! :D Mechanics were really cool, loved the tip system, would've been cool if you could've purchased upgrades like being able to go full speed faster or something but the scope is still nice, I love all the characters that come out of the doors! So polished and looks great!
@johjoh Hey, thank you so much, yeah, we're onto that, it's just thinking up a reliable solution, it doesn't bounce for me you see, so it's harder to constantly test. Softlocking is another issue and while we've got the restart button hopefully we'll make it more lenient for when you're on edges. Hope it didn't ruin the game for you too much!
@koolruz Thanks for playing! Aware of the softlock, there's a couple bugs but I'm glad it wasn't destroy the world level of badness! ;D Glad you thought it was worth your time.
@jebouin Thanks for playing! I agree, would’ve loved to rehash the aiming system to be more intuitive, glad you enjoyed!
@arthur-sorignet-gautrot I haven't/Nobody has experienced that one before! Could you send some more information? You'd be a huge help.
Glad you enjoyed!
@arthur-sorignet-gautrot Sorry for that, but I'm referring to the bug with the pipes!
@arthur-sorignet-gautrot I'll look into that, thank you for the report!
@aurel300 I should have a fix for that soon! It doesn’t happen for most people but I know what the issue is! Want me to keep you posted and say when the game’s fixed?
@aurel300 Should be better for ya now :)
@le-don Thank you!
Brilliant! Just what I expected, boss was the right level difficulty which is hard to pull off, box sometimes got stuck on top of the hands, and I had to wait until they moved to get it back, but apart from that it's a great boss fight, great work.
Really enjoyed this, really good spin on hotline Miami, I can't believe you did this many levels, it's really impressive. Admittedly I feel like there could've been an extra enemy for the later levels, but that's just me nit picking. Art style was amazing, felt a little hard to contrast the floor to the background sometimes, especially on the more frantic later levels. To wrap it up it's a well polished and executed game, hope to see more of it dude!
Incredible game, it's clear you rocked with the huge team, I think my main gripe is that the enemy destroy animation isn't too different from the spawning animation, meaning it can be a little unclear sometimes, apart from that it was all really cool, pixel art was amazing!
Great work, unique setting compared to many of the games! Weapons were fun to switch between, would be cool if there was a thing saying what's left to kill and maybe an arrow pointing to existing viruses. Overall good stuff.
Wowie! Such a complete game for a weekend, got some celeste vibes from the aesthetics but the gameplay is also really interesting, loved the variety in blocks! Played on stream so you've heard a lot of things from me already but I can't stress enough how cool this was.
Hilarious, original, I don't see anything not to like, using WS is a bit finnicky, really I'd like to be able to orient hands when playing a very back and forthy game like this. That's a nitpick though, great work!
Really nice job, fun mechanic, and the animation on the tender is amazing! <3 Got a little boring near the end, would've loved it if customer patience increased over time or something like that, either way, sick work.
Starting from the beginning is brutal, considering how long it is, however it's polished and the controls are really smooth, great work.
Really challenging! My kind of thing, the package system got a bit of getting used to but it's a clever way of learning upgrades, didn't really understand the combo system at first either, but it all came apparent! Thanks for submitting.
Being able to tell a war story in such a short timeframe is a true feat, well done! As for the gameplay itself, it's really fun! Would've loved some easier puzzles but wouldn't we all!
Confusing, somewhat, brilliant concept though, black knights killed me a bit, annoying, but I really enjoyed my time with this one.
Awesome, felt really fun, I can see it getting really chaotic! Would've loved the game elements to be a bit more closer together, still really fun though, feels very finished and polished.
Really really good game, hope it gets more ratings! Polish is supreme, and the idea in general is hilarious. Controls feel really nice, I think all I'd add is a little "BRAKE!" UI when you're nearby the stopoff/unload point, I didn't realize I had to stop at first. Great stuff
Awesome stuff, artstyle is amazing, can't stress how visually good it looks, aside from that, it's pretty much a bog standard platformer, nothing new or interesting. Atmosphere makes up for that though.
Takes a bit of understanding at first but the mechanic is really nice, it's fun seeing the news report at the end, well done.
Decent, I didn't really understand what was going on or how it fit the theme, but the polish was nice.
Cute! Felt annoying having to go back and forth figuring out people's bottle type but besides that it was fun, neat little metroidvania, kinda!
Fun concept, I'm liking the idea and the execution isn't too bad, moving platforms didn't work, really. And the controls felt a bit clunky and needed precision, however! The copy paste idea was just brilliant, and you did a good job of it, well done.
Package placement is a bit hard, and it takes a bit of learning with what box does what, but it's impressive with the amount of levels on show, good work.
Levels took ages to load, art was nice, gameplay felt basic though, would make a fun speedrun though aha!
Bland, seems to have nothing to do with the theme, gameplay isn't fun, it's just put the ball in the basket. Animations were goofy though, I'll give you that!
