Marvelous. This is one of the funniest games I've played in a Ludum Dare. The ragdoll physics, the music, the absolutely gorgeous artwork... it all forms this hilarious symphony of a great game.
The levels are pretty tricky at times, though perhaps I was just doing it wrong. I recorded myself playing the game, but like a fool- I didn't check the audio levels at all so my commentary is pretty much impossible to hear without deafening yourself.
a good summary is: "The background is gorgeous! This is funny. oh- I love the music. Ha, funny bird artwork. This level is hard. wow this level is hard. Good lord this level is hard. This level is so much easier. oh- the game ended." and then I wasted my time by flying upwards.
Here's the recording, though again, sorry about my poor audio mixing.

a little too hard for me but fun nontheless. although i have to say that i dropped it after 10 min of baby-cadaver-stacking.... ^^

Bloody hilarious and I love the classic rude bear death persist which is funny when I'm flying over piles of babies. Though I couldn't get past the vertical shaft. The audio wasn't great.

Amazing. The gameplay was fun and very challenging but it kept you wanting to play more, the music and art were gorgeous and the help trees that spawned were so helpful. Loved the ending.

Cool idea, great music and art
This game was very difficult :D
But I liked it! Good idea, gameplay and music.
Great game, love the art style! Nice level designing too. It would be even better if the baby's oscillation depended more on the velocity of the bird. The baby movements feels a bit linear and not related to your inputs.

Art style is super nice.
This is a banger. An incredibly frustrating-got-me-to-scream banger.
This was pretty fun, even if it was annoying at times. I especially liked the extra checkpoints if you failed too much. Dialogue was also pretty interesting and well done. I actually kind of liked the music and the spin on the classics. The moving background textures made it a bit hard for me to focus, especially the moving blocks, but otherwise I liked the style.

Really fun, but difficult at parts. Some parts took me a while to get through. Also, I love how the bird conveniently forgot to say I could change the length of the rope. The checkpoints in general felt like they were a good distance apart.

Very easy to ply game! I even got medal!
Just the sheer amount of babies that I yeeted. Lost of words but I had an absolute blast, here's the VOD with timestamps!
Great job! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q21Hk6Ww7E
Did the impossible and completed it, I've seen this all over LD streams and it lives up to its name, I really quite enjoyed it! I felt like I didn't need the orange clouds so I wish there was an option to disable it. I get the reason for the addition though. Good work! I killed babies!

"Oh come on it should count that the baby touched the tree even if the bird died!!!" This is amazing, jam-packed with frustration followed by dopamine. I love how much you did with this, it seemed so simple at first and all of a sudden I was completely drawn in, making the rope longer and shorter while trying to ignore the fact that I've accidentally slaughtered millions of little rudebear babies. Also love the artstyle, it's refreshing and clicks well in my brain.

@krassenstein Aww thanks for playing, and thanks to Qrucials for recommending it. Some undeserved compliments in there too haha, in reality it was just sprite masks no fancy shaders, and pendulum physics no fancy cloth stuff. Thanks for playing and sorry about that one ledge haha, you got very close to the end, well done
This game has "Getting Over It" syndrome, where it has a control scheme so hard to get used to, that it almost seems impossible playing it. It's only when you've played for a while that it becomes easy. Feels like game developers often think their games are easier as a result of playtesting so much that they get really used to the controls lol
Anyways, this game is really fun! Like it was really difficult, but the amount of checkpoints and hand holding made it a lot more accessible. Art is pretty good, I really like the detail of the past babies just lying on the ground lmao. Though I wish there was a lot less empty paths you can take, as sometimes you were just flying up and there's nothing there. Like Getting Over It, you get used to the controls after a while and beating the game was really satisfying!! Well done!!
Orange trees! I like the game, it's challenging and controls are great.
Hey Alex and friends, thanks for stopping by the stream! Here's the VOD if you're interested: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1812362155
Super funny, nice use of repeating patterns, and when that twinkle twinkle mix hit... oh my god that was hilarious. Nice music Atmos! I appreciated the additional checkpoints if you fail too many times because my playthrough was littered with abandoned bears. I now feel an even deeper rage at the cry of a baby.

Starting with the obvious : It's hard, and not my personal cup-of-tea kind of hard. It's more about playing long enough for the physics and pendulum timing to become second nature, and then I'm sure the game becomes challenging in a way that's truly engaging. So that means I don't get to see the end of the game, but it's not big deal.
Did I still have fun? Yeah! The core concept is very strong in its simplicity and make for a solid, super smooth, flappy-birdesque experience.
Visually, the game looks amazing, big fan of the pop-art style and scrolling textures. Audio is also highly competent with good music and crisp sound effects.
Overall this is a great entry, good job guys!
Fun ez game. Beat it first try. 😉
Honestly Alex, if it wasn't you I'm not sure I would've kept playing. That was really frustrating lol. I think the mechanic is a nice idea, but I'm not sure about the execution. There are many tight spots to get through, where it feels like you need to enter it with the exact height on the perfect moment of the swing. So perhaps I would've enjoyed it more if the gaps weren't so tight, but where there is more distance between the checkpoints, or something like that. It's nice that you have extra checkpoints. Maybe I'm just bad.
I really like the polka dots art style. Very well executed. Nice music as always, though I'm not sure if it fits the art style. Overall it's very solid. Apart from that one floating tree it's very polished from intro to end.
