I love your version of the theme, also visual are neat and looks good!

I love your version of the theme, also visual are neat and looks good!
I really like the idea of the game and a new view on Russian roulette. But there are some problems:
1. The very beginning is too long. 2. Controls of the game arent simple, it would have been better, if wou had made 2 buttons 'Shoot' and 'Pass'.
Nice job, I like art, however, there aren't enough sounds in the game which could have made it a little bit better. Also, why does she hate chicken?
Very interesting job for solo! I really like pace and visuals of the game.
The game is interesting and looks good. I really enjoyed playing it.
Nice simple game, but there aresone small problems:
1. One type of enemies, and the big ones didn't make any danger for the player. 2. Projectiles are too small. 3. There isn't any visual feedback of getting damage. 4. The mechanic of earning health isn't clear enough, however it's really good and fun.
Well done!
This game is great, especially speaking about visuals, UI and sound, so smooth and superb work.
Interesting idea with good gameplay and sounds which are really nasty but fit the game idea perfectly.
This game is fun and insane!
Pretty unusual work, simple and fun!
It's a superb puzzle game, with excellent visuals and comprehensive game loop. Well done!
Very funny game, I like this simple idea and visuals. However, it would be better, if you restored full health at the beginning of each level.
I love the music and game play loop is pretty good. Well done!
It's the best idea how to show the theme in game. Funny and adoreable.
Very beautiful and relaxing game. I love it!
I like this game. Neat grathics and really smooth gameplay and pretty nice narrative!
Oh yeah, cool idea and fun realisation. Although, some minigames needed a little tutorial at the beginning, especially 'Carpet fun'. Anyway, great job!
Well polished puzzle game with good art and adoreable win window!
Nice game and idea, however, the combat isn't smooth and easy to start, I really struggled at the beginning with leaning how to fight and how attack works.
@elysiagriffin meow
The game is nasty, but fun and make me suffer, the only problem I see is a control lag.
Nice work. Superb music and visuals, and I really like animations!
The idea of the game is pretty creepy, and the voice of catcher make all the atmosphere!
Good work, but very sad ending.
Excellent job! I like gameplay and the idea which reminds me the game Scrubbse the zombie. Additionally, the visuals are pretty good.
Well polished and interesting game with cohesive gameplay and loop. Unfortunately, without music and some sounds. Anyway, well done!
Very fun and unusual game. Well polished visuals, UI and sound, especially, like good comprehensive gameplay loop.
It's a really good idea which not only fit the theme but also shows the tower defence genre from a different angle. Also, I like the fact that you did the game in 3D and make pretty good visuals.
Very fun and insane game. Now I want to add crabs as enemies everywhere together with bananas.
Good visuals and combat system. Also the theme of the jam is used very well.
I love visuals and music! Really superb work!
Nice job, hard and a pretty funny game, where you must pay for everything!
It's a really interesting sight at the theme of the jam, I enjoyed playing the game and simple graphics. Well done.
Great idea and outstanding quality of the game. Music and viuals are superb and enjoyable!
Great concept and visuals, unfortunately, there isn't any sound. However, I enjoyed my playthrough!
It's a good game, but it has some problem with UX:
- I can't hack doors with WASD, only arrows, it's really frustrating; - There isn't any 'Use' action which can start the hacking or charging battery; - There is a lack of feedback from my actions: - I don't feel that the robot started charging on the charge point; - I dpn't feel that weapon is reloaded;
You should have added additional animations/effects/UI which indicate these actions. Anyway, nice work, very cohisive.
Pretty nice and well polished game. I hope to make a game in the same style in the future.
What can I say about this game? YUMMY! Really good game and enjoyable gameplay, and hilarious narrative.
@mateusboga because they love eating minions. XD
@furtive-pygmy thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to implement a proper UI logic, that's why we forgot such simple things like highlighting current weapon.:(
@xmpted the idea is that you can buy just before the start of the arena. Thank you for your feedback about the first wave.:) We have playtested only 4 hours before ending of the jam and I remade all balance from scratch. I specially made the first wave easier.
@wojciech Thank you for feedback. I like challenging games, as a result, I make my balance pretty hard, however, I had only several hours before ending of jam to rebalance all the game. The biggest problems are spawner and a lack of pauses in AI shooting.
@didigameboy player also has a hard time at the same time. XD
@nikolay-zapolnov thank you!
@stockyspark thank you for feedback. It's cool to hear that someone beat first levels, as the game is pretty hard. The balance HP as a currency is pretty hard and, unfortunately, I did my best 3 hours before the end of the Jam. :)
@kal-hel @gorrion @ursagames @flamus thank you for the kind words. Our team are happy to make you happy.:D
@cheesepencil TATATA TADAAA MEOW!
@barret thank you for the playing. HTML5 version was made because we had a critical bug in PC version right before ending of the jam. :(
@kal-hel thank you for the playing! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to playtest drop rate of ammo.:(
@markusfisch thank you!
@elysiagriffin thank you for your stream! Hope, our game didn't drive you mad and you won't spend a lot of money on therapist after AAAAAH and bananas. 🐱
@mrjoshuamclean thank you for playing!
@ivan-garcia-filho thank you! Actually, I've beaten the game several times!
@jordantanner thank you for kind words!
This game is really big for jam, as it contains some lore and narrative, additionally, it reminds me of good old games for Sega or NES/SNES. However, it's a little bit too hard.
I like the idea and art, however, there is a big problem with UX. Firstly, a lack of tooltips, I should have press buttons blindly. Secondly, the UI isn't contrasting enough, as a result, buttons look like a part of the art. The third problem is that buttons too small. Anyway, the gameplay is simple, smooth and enjoyable.
Pretty neat graphics and gameplay, however, the UX of the game have some problems, first of all, I really miss the feedback on hitting enemies.
Good work, although the game is really ambitious.
Pretty nice work with camera and visuals, despite they are simple, they looks cool and make the atmosphere of the game.
The idea is fine, visuals and sound are well polished. However, I don't like enemies, they aren't interesting and don't move enough to make some danger.
Really good work and idea. Well done!
I love this game. It's small, simple and has adoreble visuals.
Nice and simple game, however, the enemies, from my point of view, are a little bit too tough.
1. The best opening! 2. The best sounds!
I love the grathics really good work in 3D!
I like the idea. However, I always crying when I have to kill a cat. >_<
Very good and well polished game. Well done!
Your idea is really superb, it's pity that you didn't have enough time to make a proper gameplay loop, even though your idea is great and really unusual.
Amazing idea and realisation, very unusual view at the theme. Well done!
It looks very polished, however, it's a little bit hard to understand from the beginning.
Nice work, however, it's a little bit too hard at the beginning.
Well done my friend, I really enjoyed playing your game!
Very interesting idea! I took satisfaction while playing it. And also it has a pretty good realisation!
Great idea and well polished realisation!
I like the art and music, but controls are clunky, as they didn't match the traditional controls. Hope you will do them better in the future.:)
The visuals and sound are super cool!
I love this kind of game which teaches people programming and game developing. Nice work!
Well, well, well. 1. I think, you should have used a top-down camera instead of third-person, as I cant aim and change direction of the player with it. 2. Simple effect or animation could have made a better feedback for a player about attack.
Well, well well well.
A peculiar puzzle game with superb realisataion. Notably, nice work with sound.
The idea of the game is superb, it's simple, but really interesting to play. Also art and sounds are good too. Well done!
I adore your game, such unconventional idea with outstanding realisation, great music, amazing art, lovely art. The only problems I had: 1. Music too loud. 2. I'm used to use Space for jumps and I opened menu accidentally many times.
Anyway, it's incredible work!
@joe-williamson ElisyaGriffin during her stream.:)
Pretty funny game with nice realisation. Well done!
A superb realisation of the classic puzzle, minimalistic visuals, great effects and music, but music, from my point of view, is slightly too loud.
A pretty neat survival game with clunky controls and too loud sounds. Next time pay attention to them!
I've already played a similar game here on the jam, and it's not bad, as your game is a little bit different. I love art and strong retro vibes and smooth flow. The only two problems I faced: 1. I think enemies too spongy; 2. Movement is a little bit generic, there isn't some kind of inertion.
The best version of Sims so far, because you can decorate your own house with everything you can find around your neighbourhood.
It's a good game, with fine art and sounds, but it lacks of some obvious goals for player, form my point of view.
Pretty solid submission, it has pretty cohesive gameplay and idea. However, it suffers from unfair difficulty curve and spongy enemies.
I like the idea and such a superb realization of this puzzle. Nice work!
I like this medival life simulator, it's a Dark Souls of such kind of games, you always die!
@daniiln I don't think that it need simplification.
Beautiful art, great music and superb player character animations. Also, I love dialogues. Well done.
You made a really strong game, but there are some problems with enemies: 1. They're too slow and looks pretty sluggish in comparison with the player, sometimes it feels strange. 2. Difficulty curve needs some polishing, as the second snakes are pretty hard.
Development of my LD45 entry in a nutshell.
Turn-based strategy is a complicated genre and I think, it's hard to make one during such a short period of time. However, you managed to do it. I like game design and simple visuals, well done.
The idea is great, but the beginning of the game is too difficult, next time work on difficulty progression more thoroughly, as a player shouldn't be beaten at the start.
The real name of the game is 'Flappy leaf' it's hard, but fun.
Simple but pretty fun game, however, I miss some kind of enemy indication who attacks you out of camera.
Great job for Ludum Dare I like different weapons and monsters, but from my point of view, the level is too small it should be more spacious.
I like your version of the arcanoid, this approach is adoreable and fun, well done.
Movement, sounds and art are great and well made. However, general gameplay needs something more, like puzzles, simple enemies. Also, you should work on UI, it's not very good when you don't tell a player how many apples they should bring.
I like this idea of mixing up a platformer with a top-down shooter, especially with such good art and sounds, well done.
A good game with peculiar visuals. I like how you implemented a platformer part, well done.
A nice small game, but I miss pause and restart button.
A decent submission. I like the overall quality of the game, however, it needs some additional balance, as enemies are too spongy and there isn't any reason to kill them. Also, I miss a crystal counter and some kind of an upgrade shop.
A concept of this game is great, the realisation is fairly good, but it suffers from interesting goal absence and some difficulties on the level.
I like the idea of the game as well as realisation, very atmospheric and spooky, however, controls are a little bit clunky and it's hard to understand how to control character from the start.
Small and funny game with neat idea and realisation. Good job.
I've played this kind of games before, but, you've managed to make this genre more dynamic and more interesting to play. Also, I like the art style, great job.
The idea is great, realisation fairly good. I have an opinion that difficulty level is a little bit too high at the beginning. Additionally, it would be great if there were NPC with different difficulty level and rewards. Anyway, pretty fun game.
You made a really funy and interesting game!
I like this game, it's not only a developer samulator but also a great touch typing game, well made!
1. Gorgeous art. 2. Fine music. 3. Magnificent idea.
However, roll doesn't feel as a roll it's short and slow. Also, speed of enemies projectiles are too fast to catch. And enemies needs some indications of attack. Anyway, great work. Well done.
It's a short game with lovely art, I like the very beginning of the game, when you need to go through level using sound waves. But it needs some polishing
Incredible game, a little buggy, but gameplay and stories are very addictive. Well done.
A pretty smart idea and fine game. The only problem I've faced is that it's not clear that I have to press 'nothing' at the very beginning to start the game.
This is a pretty strong submission with interesting mechanics and fine art, however, there are some problems with movement and level design. Firstly, the movement is very generic and character doesn't feel like a real character, and level design is messy and doesn't provide a smooth progression. Pay attention to it in the future.
I like visuals and sounds, however, there are some problems with UX of a gameplay. Enemies start attacking almost immediattelly and their attack rate is too high.
I adore people who can make such thoroughly polished games like your game in 48 hours! So much little details in animations, great movement systems and nice idea, well done!
@joellikespigs hope, you will post more interesting guides on your twitter.
A very solid puzzle game with a strong potential, hope you manage to release this game in the future!
I like the story and humour of the game a really cohesive story. Well done!
Small, but very neat game with good combat and movement systems, well done!
It's a pretty neat platformer but it has some problem with UX. First of all, the beginning, it's not obvious that I need to go back, as the camera has offset to the right side of my display. Secondly, the level design is too horizontal, add more vertical gameplay in your future projects.
Small and well-developed survival, there are some problems with UI design, but the game is pretty good.
PS. Do not use dark colours for texts on dark background.
This game is a magnificent puzzle with fascinating core mechanics. Additionally, I like how movement and stick mechanics, they are felt good and responsive with all these small details in sounds, animations and physics. Well done.
I like this idea, it's simple and well made.
Nice point-and-click adventure with strong story, nice work!
I've already play this kind of games on this LD, however, your game if the best. Polished art, fine movement, adequate difficulty. The only thing I miss is the fourth engine.
Ok, trader simulator with the most adoreable cat! Fun and pretty unconventional
A terrific game, I like everything in it. Smooth controls, neat animations, dynamic sounds, well made!
The best idea of the stealth action game ever, really, I would like to play it in 3D. Also, it's amazing how much things you managed to implement! Well done!
Magnificent puzzle platformer with fine art, nice sounds and great core idea. The only thing I think should be remade is movement, I think it should take after classic platformers with some jump restrictions.
OK, this is the most adoreable story driven game here. The idea is smart, the feauture with drawing is smooth as hell, I think this game should be released on mobile platforms for kids!
Yet another minimalistic, but quite deep game in stealth actcion genre.
The idea is good, but a lack of different enemies and some additional spells to make gameplay more interesting.
These submission is very strong and well polished, great UI, visuals and controls. Nonetheless, there are a small problemm with UX, it's hard to understand that I need to unlock jumps through upgrade menu at the very beginning. Well done!
I like such simple games like this, it's easy, but fun to play, and the most pleased moment is that you can easily develop it further in the future.
1. The visual style has good potential, but you need to polish it and make better. Now it looks messy most of the time. 2. I like how you use sounds with player controls, really cool. 3. I like how you work with only 1 boss and little by little adding new mechanics and strategies. Well done!
I like this short text based quest, the story is simple, but pretty cohesive and visuals make it looks pretty good. However, I don't like that I can't use space or enter instead of right arrow, it's the biggest problem.
A pretty interesting platformer with a quite neat art.
I like this game, it has a neat idea, polished realisation and good art. Nonetheless, the mini game has some problems with UX and UI. 1. It starts almost immediatelly. A short 3 second countdown will help. 2. There is a lack of feedback then the arrow appears. 3. Arrows are hard to detect they have a similar colour with other parts of UI.
The game is good, it's not very innovative, but the art style and level design make this game very fun and interesting to play! Great job.
A pretty fine online game, with possibility playing alone. But I don't like car physics. A car feels to light.
@dan-colman it's dangerous to use default assets.:)
I like your idea and ard, but gameplay wise this game needs more polishing. First of all, it's hard to understand what I have to do at the start. Additionally, the core mechanics isn't clear.
A very good top-down shooter with fun unlock mechanics. I like shooting and how it feels and sounds. Additionally, your artstyle is outstanding! AI is alose pretty good an interesting.
Nice puzzle game with a pretty simple core gameplay. Well done.
It's a small but well made platformer, with superb art and fine level design.
A pretty good game, however, there are a significant problem with a lack of feedback on different things, like getting hit, ammo, etc. Anyway, pretty solid work for a jam.
I like the idea of the game, it's pretty interesting and well made. However it would have been better if enemies can be killed with 1 hit and move sometimes.
I like the core mechanics of the game, you superbly use it in the levels.
The concept sounds great, but I think, it needs some small help at start, however, it can ruin the experience of total disaster of the very first day at work which you didn't know how to do.
Ok, the idea is good as well as difficulty curve of the levels. However, movement feels clunky, first of all, because I need to hold Space to jump higher. Secondly, because I stick to the environment if I jump and hold a movement button and collide with e.g. a platform. And the last thing is that the physics of the fall after jump feels sluggish.
Nice work, fine core gameplay and great visuals.
A pretty strong 3D platformer with peculiar idea, I like how movement feels and the idea of the level. Well done.
God, this game is magnificent. The art style is impressive, combat system is easy to learn, but hard to master. Difficulty balance is smooth and enjoyable. Well done!
Small and nice platformer. The core idea isn't new, but the realisation is fairly good. However, next time work on the movement system more thoroughly, as it feels sluggish as well as shooting. Also, your level design is pretty good and has superb difficulty curve.
It's a sad game, but I enjoyed each dialouge, well done!
A nice idea, but a lack of in-game hints makes it unenjoyable, as it's hard to understand at start what you gave to do.
Despite the fact that you've spent only one day on the game, it looks pretty good. It has an atmosphere and style, but next time, write something about controls in the description.
A small and peculiar game about memories. But the problem is that I haven't found any difference between the numbers of bad and good memories and that it's hard to avoid bad memories.
I like this simple neat idea of forest managing, you made a really cohesive gameplay around few mechanics, well done.
A smart showcase of the chaotic ptocess of game developing during jams, when you implement things on the go. Nicely done.
The art style of the game is strong, but I see that you tried to make a bigger game, but couldn't manage to do it. It's sad, but it's ok for a jam, I also cut my idea drastically. Nonetheless, next time pay attention to a movement, right now it's pretty blank and doesn't entertain. Also, make some kind of small cooldown on a roll, now I can roll eternally.
I like everything in this game, except the camera, it's really distracting and make the game worse than it could be. Anyway, other parts of the game are well made!
I adore your idea and incredible tutorial, you've done a really good job!
@majadroid yep, I hate this theme as it's dull and completely generic for me. I expected more fascinating theme.
@ssstormy I thought about statistics after death, but I'm so tired, as I rebuild a game idea on Sunday and Today. That's why there are so much problems with UX.
@ssstormy I've made a slight fix with post fight statistics right during last 10 seconds of the jam. XD
@gabrielgamedev yes, you can make an installer in GameMaker with ease. Speaking about levels, it was an initial idea, I had even made doors and special spawns, but eventually I realized that I couldn't manage to make it as I want.
@erebus @frozen-spirit @valden @yomissmar @eryph @filipdufka Thank you for playing!
@asue @david-klemencz @daniiln @aj-jones @diptoman @aj-jones @diptoman Thank you for playing.
@wolf4d I changed the core idea of the game on Sunday, as a result, I remade most of the game in 2 days. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to balance. Also, I wrote a very simple drop system. Speaking about the right button, it's just a debug thing which I forgot to disable.
@bigwhiteshogun at the start of a jam I thought about the pure single-player experience, but on Sunday I changed my mind, as I understood that I couldn't manage to deliver interesting gameplay in such a tight time. What about difficulty, there is some kind of dynamic difficulty, but because of rebuilding game in 2 days, I didn't have time to balance it better.
@adamcyounis if I hadn't made a mistake with the estimation of game mechanics development, I would have made better AI and weapon system.
@ilyaefimov @annie-owl @trmrddr @whatnamegames @joaop @plepletier @blizary thank you for playing!
@simon-rahnasto here is a [**small post-jam update**](https://tricky-fat-cat.itch.io/honk-ld45) of the game.
@cdunham @pablotitan @quadape Thanks for playing!
@jam373 have you had some technical problems with the game?
@team-on actually, I had made 8 weapons for the character, but eventually I left only doubleshotgun as I don't have time to implement interesting mechanics of getting new weapons during the fight.
@team-on I'm going to reuse this effect in my another project One Spear, One Kill. And during remastering I'm going to publish devlogs about different mechanics, including this one.
@sirred @jusw85 @bilalch213 @m-dam @patricio thank you for playing!
@gauphastus @elhombrebanana thank you for playing!
@matharoo I know, I cut the original idea and build this game in 2 days.
@matharoo the initial idea was to build several Doom style levels, but on Sunday I realized that I can't manage to do it in such short period of time. Eventually I started working on arenashooter, bacause of this I couldn't implement some additional mechanics, such as weapon drop/progression.
@blaster391 even during a game jam I'm trying to build something good, and sometimes it's better to make a feauture cut to make other parts of the game better.
@asturk @brokenmirrormedia @nikolay-zapolnov @blaster391 @blaster391 @maximbegunov tahnk you for playing.
@jeremy-daffix @kaeveris thank you for playing!
@marcin-j unfortunately, I didn't use deltatime as right now I don't know how to use it with time scale together.
@danilo-freire I thought about HTML5 build, but I don't have enough experience with HTML5. When I tested a possible build there were some visual bugs, but I can try.
@milestone-games @stefanie-leitch @ashashza @khud0 @asfdfdfd thank you for playing and feedback!
@danilo-freire my friend make a mac version of the game!
@ferdi could you repeat and show me an error?
@hcursino thank you for playing! @ferdi thank you for help, I've found a problem, it was an old dubug code, which I had forgotten to comment, I'll publish a new version soon.
@f1krazy @nachtwitch @dreamlogician @mikeliosus @deepnight @hadesfury thank you for playing and feedback.
@team-on I've written a [**short tutorial about this effect**](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/honk/reap-and-tear-without-problems)
@johnnysix thank you for playing!

@weskerleon @prodigalson @ryjcio Thank you for playing!
@picaboo thank you for playing!
@tinykidtoo @anion-z thank you for playing.
I adore people who can make a fascinating puzzle with pretty unconventional core mechanics. You sir did a magnificent game with easy to start core, well done!
I like the core idea of the game, it's simple and fun. Well made!
A really fun platformer! Good graphics and fine sounds!
It's a nice game which reminds me osmos, flow and the very beginning in Spore. I like sounds and quite simple grathics. However, I have an opinion, that there is a lack of progression and choices. I just wandering around and eat, hostile organisms don't do anything bad and I can easily avoind them.
Small and neat game with cohesive gameplay.
Nice graphics and simple gameplay, but a visual feedback on shooting could have made all the diffearence to the game UX.
You sir are genius, this game is humorous and well made!
I like your game very much, you made a very polished and smooth gameplay with fine art and controls, well done!
Ok, this game have a neat art and good realisation of a classic puzzle mechanics. Good job.
It's a pretty small and quite neat survival game, I like that you made all mechanics simple, but pretty interesting to play!
A strong submission and a superb second game, I like art, movement and core gameplay! Well done.
Congratulations with the very first Ludum dare. The game idea looks interesting, and here is some advice for the next one: 1. Work on movement thoroughly, this time it's not bad (I've seen much worse) but for platformers, movement is a key system. 2. Read something about level design, right now it's plain as hell and tedious, literally. 3. Add some simple procedural animations which make your game look better.
Anyway, it's a good first try.
Apretty neat game with strong vibes of 2001: Space Odyssey.
A fine concept with smooth UI and graphics.
Ok, despite having a quite simple art, the atmosphere in the game is well made and pretty spooky.
I adore your game as it's pretty complex, but was made with simple art. Controls are good and convenient. Well done.
I like your game, you made it relly polished and fun to play, I like retro vibes!
You have a pretty good idea and game, however, I miss indication of NPCs sight sector and distinctive sprites of walls. And I like that there are some additional interactions on the level, which change some parts of gameplay. Good job.
This game reminds me Flow, flower and osmos at the same time. I like smooth controls, beautiful effects and ralaxing music. Well done!
Adoreable game with a very good message to a player at the end.
This is a pretty strong concept with big potential. Core loop is smooth and easy to learn, the only problem is the balance, I think prices are too high.
This game is really good and fun, you made a superb art and sounds incredible, also, I like the mechanic of getting ingredients from the river. Well done!
A very nice tower defence with unconvential tower mechanics, well done, I really like it.
I love humour and graphics of the game.
It's a cute puzzle game woith adoreable narration.
This is a really strong submission, but too hard. I see a lot of influence from Dark Souls, but with unfair difficulty, however, Boss fight is really good design wise. Nice work!
It the most meowinnovative game!
I'm pleased to see such a relaxing game on the jam, it reminds me of such games as Flower and Journey. Nice little work.
I like your idea and how many good levels you've managed to build, however, I don't like character movement, it feels sluggish in comparison to jump speed. If you polish it, the game will become much better.
@catiliangames haha, I mean it looks strange. But I'm glad to help.
Your team made a big submission, I like your style, sounds and idea. But I think, that combat mechanics can be better, if you try to make it more rhythm-based, like in Patapon. When you need to combine 4 notes in different melodies with different effects.
It's a nice 18-hour game, but too hard and HP bar read's pretty bad as a green bar locates on a green background.
I admire that you made a racing game during the jam, as it's hard to make a fun racing physics during such a short time. But you did it, it's fun to play and enjoyable. Nice work.
I like the idea, but dow on the wheel is inconvenient.
I love this game. Gameplay is easy to understand, and some games has similar concepts here, but this game is polished and has cool controls and fun gameplay. Incredible work!
Samogon vitae! This game it's a fine simulator of booze brewer. Nice polished work.
I like the idea and how polished this game is, however, control scheme, from my view is a little bit awkward. You could use space and shift for some actions.
It's a hilairious game and yet another great addition to the rude bear universe!
I like the art and the idea, but the lack of progress indication make the game dull, as you can't understand what is your goal and what to expect. Also, the speed go down to fast.
Small neat game. I like graphics, which is stylish and very pleasant. Nice entry.
@maksym for a jam game it's pretty polished and feels better than many hyper casual games.
Nice looking game with gorgeous art and nice gameplay.
The concept is pretty interesting, but the lack of instructions make the initial experience painful.
Incredible work
This entry is simple, but well done. Core gameplay is easy to understand. But there isn't any distinctive indication of trees you have placed in the level.
It's a peculiar submission. I love the art and narrative and voices, French speech make the atmosphere of the game magical.
Visuals are amazing, as well as sounds. Combat system is quite good, but I don't like that colliding with enemies deals damage to a character, when it's not so obvious, e.g. stunned goblins.
@spirits by the way, if you add simple oval shadows beneath enemies and player, it can make visuals better
This tower defence looks pretty hilarious! I really enjoy the idea.
I admire how complex is your game, and how polished it is. A superb work for a jam.
This game is like papers please, but about hospital. A lot of decisions and very polished game. Nice work. But please, work on buttons feedback.
Pretty nice small puzzle game. But next time, please make counter of pads bigger and easy to read.:)
Nice small game, with peculiar idea, but the problem is with UX, as it's hard to understand how to use batteries at start. And also, level design is pretty bland, the arena needs some layout.
Nice little game with cute art. The main gameplay cycle is easy to learn. However, it would be better if the game had som diversity in enemies and player actions.
A nice tiny puzzle platformer. It resembles our submission, but have an absolutely different approach to core gameplay and polished very well.
Visuals and sounds are fine. However, the difficulty curve is pretty steep and the game becomes too hard in a moment. Additionally, I'm not a big fun of floating gravity, but it's personal preference.
A peculiar idea, which is really unusual. The game feels good and visuals are neat. Nice work.
Tiny, but fun game. I adore how you use the theme of the jam. Additionally, the art and sound are absolutely superb.
I admire how you remade frogger, it fits the theme, plays very funny and I love the sounds!
Nice small meditative game. Nice work for the first jam game.
The theme is extremely adoreable! Nice and meditative entry.
It's a good small game with simple but unusual idea. Gameplay is fun and captivating.
Small game, but with neat concept. I wish there were an infinite game mode.
I love the irony of this game. But I think the game needs some challange.
The core idea of the game is pretty standard. However, it's polished as hell and very fun to play. Nice work!
After playing this game it's hard to go pass a plant without kissing...
The idea and gamplay are simple, but well made and fun to play. Sounds... Sounds are hilarious as hell.
Crasy ~~taxi~~ ambluence. Funny submission and enjoyable.
@lou-bagel @rob1221dev @morilia @bredian @step4 @macabre @kwaku Thank you for playing!
@ilimanic could you describe how you've get this error, please?
@blakegamedev I wish I could implement save system. Bit it's my first finished game with Godot and I was focused on polishing core systems.Thank you for playing!
@theoteno what browser do you use?
@shigure @nikchernyakov @agegorin thank you! @rk3omega thanks for such a detailed feedback.
@petrifiedapple because we use a free asset pack.
@airola thank you for feedback, apparently, I know what kind of controls I'll make in the future.
@pixel-error my speed run took about 1:30 minutes to beat all the game. @colinbellino for me it's the third Ludum Dare. But it's my very first cohesive platformer and Godot Game
@pixel-error we did our best!
@dummydojo indeed, controlos are crap and I failed miserably with them. However, I've got some valuable feedback how to make them better. I'm not a platformer-guy and it's my first completed platformer.:)
@dummydojo and I'm happy to get a lot of such a good feedback, as I know how to make a better platformer in the future. But, I hope, I'll have an opportunity to make FPS or a yet another top-down shooter. As this platformer was my personal challenge as a very firs platformer and the very first completed game with Godot engine.
Nice submission, pulished, with good graphics and nice sounds. However, I think, default colours should be lees vivid.
I like the concept of the game and gorgeous art with sounds. However, I have a view that the combat system is a little bit messy. Because I can move freely like in an action game, but suddenly, my movement becomes 0, and I had to choose the action like in a tactical game. Actions can be activated after movement, and sometimes I just run circles to shoot. And there is no indication that your movement points have restored.
You sir made a really good shooter with very peculiar gimmick. I really like how it feels. Nice job.
Very funny submission. The game is good polished. But form my point of view some moments in the level are a little bit too hard.
Nice little game with decent movemnt and visuals. However, I don't like how double jump works. I have a view, that if you made it on cooldown, it would work better and give player some room for decision. Additionally, difficulty rises too slow, it would be better to add new mechanics earlier.
The idea is pretty usual for this jam, but it plays fine. I faced only 2 problems: 1. HUD is hard to read. 2. Free movement causes problems, as I missed actions. It would have been better, if you had made a grid movement.
@vectorwolf the problem with HUD is that I focused on the center and bottom parts of the screen as I have to be aware of the condition of flowers. And considering that I focused on that small progress bars, I didn’t see how much water I have.
A Turtle Made it to the Water! I adore how good is your game, incredibly polished, great movement, art, sounds and music. Really fun arcade, great work.
A very interesting concept, but throwing system is a little bit clunky and hard to understand at the beginning.
The idea of the game is good and it's fun to play. But the difficulty curve is too steep, at the beginning. It would be better if you made some small tutorial levels.
It's a nice small game for your age, but be careful in the future. Test your game more and add more juice and indications for different actions, e.g. screenshake for on taking damage. Invinsibility frames after taking damage. Etc.
This game is pretty interesting. I don't think that it fits the theme well, but the idea is fun.
This game is just amazing. Neat visuals, a lot of juice and great weapons. Great work!
A small nice game.
I like how you designed the combat system. It's challenging and pretty enjoyable. I wish you could have added some screen shake and juice to it!
The main idea is easy to understand and funny.
It's a peculiar submission. I really enjoy the main idea of the game, and art style you choose. But the UX is inconvenient, as I don't see cooldowns on "abilities".
I like this small and neat puzzle game. Cute main character, polished visuals and gameplay cycle.
I love visuals, but obviously, the lack of sounds make the game not so pleasant as it could have been.
The idea of playing as a cheese is peculiar and fun. The game feels nice and well polished. Good work!
A very fun game, I really like the idea, but I don't like that I can't skip introductory scene.
Visuals remind me some old cartoons from the 90's and it's pretty funny to play. I like that I can kill the king!
Cluck, cluck, mother cluckers! Nice and very fun game.
Ilike the idea of the game and how it feels. But I didn't get how to play it firstly. But later, I get it. Nice work.
It's a solid submission. Gorgeous art, a lot of juice and perfect realisation of the concept, which our team also had in minds at the beginning of the jam. It's great to see that it works well.
The most adoreable game!
This game is about a doom guy in angry birds world. Small and funny.
The idea is great. But enemies move too fast and eventually I don't have enough time for taking a decision.
A nice game with slick movement, great animations and a lot of juice. Well done!
A fine game with simple, but very fun gameplay. Great job.
``` include
func main() { std::cout<<"It's a pretty stylish top-down shooter, I adore how you represents inventory and weapon system."<
It's a decent entry and a pretty rare genre on jams - shooter. However, there are some problems in the game: * HUD in the upper left corner is very uncomfortable, it's better to place it in the bottom right corner. * There is no sound indication when I have to reload the weapon. * It would have been better to add some visual effects on shooting.
Anyway, appreciate entry 🤘😤
This submission is well polished and fun to play. I like movement and combat mechanics, it's simple but neat. Also, I really like the levelling system and the idea, that each powerup has upsides and downsides. I've had such an idea in my mind for a pretty long time, and it's great to see that other people have similar thoughts. Great job.
The idea of the game is pretty neat and can work very well on mobile platforms. However, I've faced the problem, that marble can go outside the camera and I can't get it back.
Oh, I like this game. Stylish visuals, interesting core gameplay and level design. Difficulty curve is smooth and enjoyable.
As usual you did a great game with distinctive style and fine leveldesign and gameplay. Well done!
A decent submission with vibes of big games.
I like the idea of a clicker game for a jam, but at the beginning it's not obvious that I play such a game. Also, dialogue interaction is pretty strange.
Art is ridiculous, BUT, movement is fun as hell. However, a basic UI would made the game better.
@elemel speaking about UI, it would have been great if you had added main menu and pause menu.
I like the idea of the game. Core is pretty simple, but fun to play. Well done.
Small and neat game, it's simple, but interesting to play. I love characters and atmosphere.
The idea of the puzzle is fine, but there are some problems with implementation: 1. I don't like camera, it's too close to the character; 2. It's hard to understand that switches are switches and you have to use them; 3. There is no instructions at the beginning which can explain what you need to do to go further;
A pretty fine game with vibes of old classic games.
The game with great atmosphere and visuals, as usual.
Neat bullet hell shooter with minimalistic art and pretty fun gameplay. However, it wasn't obvious there is player HP. Also, feedback on getting damage is a little bit weak. Speaking about movement, in my opinion, it's quite too fast.
A pretty interesting and funny game with interesting controls and gameplay.
Simple and neat game with great visuals. Nothing to say more, great job.
A pretty clever puzzle game with decent core gameplay mechanics, it can become a good full game.
A very clever platformer with a nice core gimmick in core gameplay, alongside fine art and sfx. Great job.
Pretty fun puzzle game, I love art and core gameplay, which is easy to play, but hard to master. Great work, well done.
I adore this game, as it's quite challenging to make a good narrative game in 48 hours. Great job.
Neat and fun puzzle game with decent movement an clear art.
I adore the style of this game, it's small and very fun to play.
Ridiculously funny game, core gameplay is simple, but fun. Art is also ridiculous and good.
A pretty decent top-down shooter, the biggest problem is the absence of a reloading progress.
Simple, but very fun game with stylish graphics and sounds. Nice work.
Absolutely hilarious game with fine sounds, great art and gameplay. Good job.
A pretty stylish narrative game, with interesting story and fine art.
Fantastic and chaotic game. Well done!
I love music and art. Nice and funny work.
A pretty interesting puzzle bossfight with Dark Souls vibes. However, I think, the crystal phase is a little bit hard for a jam.
The idea of the game is great, and can become something big in the future with realistic grathics and first person perspective. Nice work.
Small, but fun and robust game with your distinctive style and high-quality.
Absolutely hilarious game with vibes of Katamari. It's a very polished submission with fine art and decent music.
This game is ridiculous and fun, but I think it's not good to make enemies to shoot right after they appear, it'll be better, if they have some kind of delay.
@shelvid and It's great, that your game doesn't crash my PC. XD
A nice narrative driven game with fine art and pretty funny story. Good work.
Nice game, with pretty interesting progression system and fine art.
This game is so polished and fun to play. You all did a great job, looking forward to seeing announcement of the full game!
A pretty clever puzzle game with interesting core gameplay. The only thing I don't like much is camera position, but I can be wrong.
I love the idea of the core gameplay mechanics with lasso and how it's implemented. Art also is decent and stylish.
Core gameplay resembles my [**platformEgg**](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/platformegg) but your game is much better and fun. Well done.
I like the theme and music of the game, it's badass and fun to play.
An impressive arcade game, art is great, difficulty curve is smooth and pleasant.
A pretty fun game with interesting idea. I love how camera feels, however, character movement, in my opinion, is a little bit clunky, but it's decent.
@mauricioscherer any way, your movement is pretty good, it doesn't frustrate.
A fine game with souls like vibes and fine dark humour. Nice work.
OK, this game is HUUUGE. While playing I had vibes of a good indie game. Well done guys.
The game looks and feels polished, gameplay is fun and have some Wipeout vibes.
Short, but pretty nice submission. I don't like the absence of the simple numerical information about ammo in the clip of the weapon.
A funny funny rithm dungeon crawler with vibes of Crypt of necromancer. Nice work.
The idea of the game is pretty interesting, however, I'm not very keen on system with astronauts: 1. It's pretty random, as I don't now where energy will spawn and how astronaut will be move; 2. It creates a pretty long pause between shooting, that feels pretty bad;
It'll be very better, if you make energy automatically restored with time. You could make astronauts come from the space and player should try to avoid shooting in them.
The concept is great. You can make this game a really good hypercasual game for mobile platforms.
Fun little game with vibes of classic games and lazy summer days.
A small nice farm game.
A pretty bizzare game, but fun. However, the movement of the bee is a little bit sluggish.
Big team with incredible result, visuals, gameplay and the game overall is very polished. Great job.
A funny game with nice level design and my favourite free sprites pack. Well done.
The main idea isn't new for this jam, but it's extremely polished. Art is gorgeous, sounds make great atmosphere, very good game.
@animaster @infinitycore @subman @vadzim @darcytimms @marbles thank you.
@vlandemart thank you for playing, there are a bug with hud, if you exit pause menu pressing "Rsume" button. @jonah thanky you, I thought about adding changing weapons with keyboard, but didn't have time at all. @kultisti thanks. @rucksack thanks, I wish I could make better balance, but I wanted to be sure that the game isn't too hard far a jam. @aterlamia thank you there is a hud, but it's bugged a little bit.
@andidebob thank you for kind words, your game also great.
@mr-developer thank you, we thought about some theme related mechanics, but scrap them down.
@mateusboga theme is great this time, but we couldn't find something interesting for top-down shooter.
@quadape thank you friend, indeed, Godot bring a lot of cool things, but I still have to learn many things.
@grizzliusmaximus thank you for such kind words. Did you made a game for LD45 where you play as a bear?
@seth-tal thank you for such detailed feedback. Unfortunately, we started working on sounds last day of the jam and Save doesn't have enough experience in working with game sounds. Speaking about enemies, unfortunately, I didn't have time to balance them better, I understand what do you mean and recognise the problem.
@nekorio thank you for playing!
@tomatolamp thank you for kind words!
@testuser thank you, yeah, I should have add some additional controls on swaping weapons.
@yword thank you, yeah, there is too strong shake, indeed.
@zik you did my day with this image, thank you.
@guilhermesouza thank you, yeah, I didn't spend a lot of time adjusting shake, it's true.
@dizzy thank you!
@lynexis thanks for your suggestion of HONK button! It's the only reason to make a postjam version!
@toulou thank you for playing, this time I did a bad job with controls and UX, true.
@dev-dwarf thank you for playing, yes, screen shake wasn't adjusted right.
@wdebowicz thanks, yeah, I forgot about looping weapons nad a proper out of ammou indication.
@ree-rolph thank you for playing, frankly, if I hadn't spent a day on AI I would have had more time on polishing.
@clemetayer thank you for playing.
@brookman thank you for playing!
@j0ye thank you for kind words!
@mikoziq thank you for playing our game on the stream. It's an interesting idea to go to id Software with our goose game. XD
@duke thank you for your feedback, I wish we had more time on polishing levels and gameplay, but I spent a lot of time on writing my first AI in Godot.
@freshd thank you for playing!
@joedev thank you, I'm also a big fan of NT, it's a great game and one of the source of inspiration.
@mackandrius thank you!
@vivien-fargette thanky you! Sounds were added in 6 hours before the end of the jam, it's true that there are a lot of problems with them and UX in general.
@javasaurus thank you for playing on your stream, it was great to watch!
@twobitmatt thank you for your feedback. In HONK III we will add something better — a knife. Because peace has never been an option!
@thebooksnail thank you for playing!
@mmiddleton thank you for your feedback. I wanted to make a simple hints, but instead, I spent more time on polishing gameplay in the first level.
@marcmagus thank you for playing. Yes, hazards would have been better, if we had added some simple animations on them.
@angela-he thank you for playing! And it's a goose guy. ;)
@gamepopper thank you! There is no theme, only HONK!
@ruruie thanks for playing. There is no reloading at all.
@guilloteam thanks for playing. The only loop we have, an eternal loop of level restart! XD
@erlioniel thanky you for kind words. Goose guy doesn't need a theme, he needs only his shotgun. :)
@tommy thank you!
@szkocka thanks for playing!
@eldogg thank you, our composer did his best to deliver the excellent music to the game.
@michaelaranda thank you for playing. Sound design isn't good this time, indeed, but we tried our best.
@davidpeterworks thank you. It's true, screenshacke is too strong.
@joleon thank you for playing, the second level is broken, as the portal is outside the level. :( Speaking about soundtrack, you can listen to it [**here**](https://soundcloud.com/sava_t/sets/honk-ii-ost)
@darenn thank you for playing. Yes, screen shacke is a bit too strong.
@smiley405 thank you.
@telescape2000 thanks, we tried our best.
@chocolat-endive thank you for kind words. Shotgun must be a pinnacle of satisfaction in shooters.
@alekm thank you for playing!
@jose-bonilla thank you!
@hadik thanks, there is on theme, only HONK! XD
@namidasai thank you for playing, much appreciate.
@vphyre thank you for your feedback, we did our best.
@ale thank you for playing. It's true, some events were adjusted badly, as we didn't have much time for it and we wanted to make game simple enough for Ludum Dare.
@copito thank you for playing. Frankly, this game is a joke, it was intended to make this game a simple fusion of Nuclear Throne and Doom.
@coleslaughter thanks for playing on the stream, much appreciated.There is a nasty bug with a HUD and Pause menu.
@johnnysix thank you for playing!
@invader thank you!
@hunttis thank you for playing! Yes, camera shake is a bit too strong.
@rainyday2800 thank you for playing.
@rafaelgiordanno thanks for playing!
@skleembof thank you for playing, indeed, there are a lot of the problems with the balance. I wish I could spend more time on polishing, but writing AI ate a lot of time.
@coding4rtist thank you for kind words.
@jesus-gonzalez thank you, yes, I wanted to make a top-down shooter this LD, but we couldn't manage to make something interesting related to the theme. Then, I suggested to make HONK II. :)
@666savior thank you for honking and tearing.
@celuloide thanks, I also adore Nuclear Throne, it's a great game and I tried to mix Doom and NT together.
@ditam thank you for playing, and yes, there is no theme, only HONK!
Gorgous art, I love your artstyle!
A pretty nice arcade game with decent art and really well-made difficulty curve, well done.
Great movement, as usual. Also I like how level loops in each other, however, there is a lack of some action and room for such a speedy character.
It's a decent game with a nice idea for core gameplay. I really like it.
Small and neat game with pretty clear rules and smooth difficulty curve. Nicely done!
A pretty fun Godot game with dark humor and dark gameplay. Nice entry.
Simple game, with fun twist at the "end" of the level.
A pretty interesting submission, with nice idea and implementation.
A very strong submission, as usual. Goreous art and fine gameplay with interesting tiny gimmick, well done guys!
Great game about programming and loops. Nicely done.
Hilarious game with simple, but addictive mechanics. Great job.
It's a strong submission with fine art, music and Hotline vibes, but it's in space. Nice work!
I adore such a simple and minimalistic game, it small, neat and very polished. Incredible work.
Despite having a peculiar graphics, the game has a really interesting core gameplay, it can be a full game in the future. Well done.
Nice game of memory and reaction, fine art, music and difficulty curve. Great job.
I think the prototype is very strong and battle works fine. Do you have plans to add some additional animations?
@seth-tal haha, HONK was born in hatred to the LD45 theme. :D
Great action platformer, with great movement, level design and overall quality. Looking forward to see a full version of the game in the future!
A decent bossfight, I love bossfights and this one is very good, thank you.
The idea of the game is nice, but there are some problems with implementation:
1. The absence of any shooting effects is bad, as I can't feel that is something is going on; 2. There is no visual feedback on getting damage, a small camera shake would make the game better; 3. There is no feedback on enemy spawn, it's really hard to see that enemy was spawned;
The game is pretty fun top-down shooter but the biggest issue is that player has only 1 hp, it's too hardcore for a jam game.
A pretty polished implementation of such puzzles with player ghosts. Art is fine as well as sounds.
The idea is pretty interesting, as it encourage to replay the game and look for something new.
A fine submission with chaotic, but still fun gameplay. I love movement.
Guys, you did excellent work, the game feels like a full game. Incredible art, animations, balance and core gimmick. Frankly, I have had a similar idea of cards with buffs and debuffs in my mind for years, and you make it very well. Great job!
The best job simulator in the world!
What I can say? Excellent work my friend, I adore your ability to make simple but enormously fun games with your own distinctive style. Well done.
A clever game with nice visuals, great core gameplay, and smooth difficulty curve. You did a great job, well done!
This game has a spooky atmosphere and nice visuals for the jam. The idea also good and pretty interesting, however, at the beginning it was pretty hard to understand what to do.
A pretty fine puzzleplatformer with interesting core gameplay feature and smooth difficulty curve, nice work.
A small and stylish puzzle with well-implemented system of 2 characters which I see many times on jams, but it's not bad. Moreover, art and sounds are also well-made.
It's a pretty hilarious trolling game which make you feel like a character.
It's a nice submission, but there are some problems: 1. Movement feels clunky and it lacks of control. 2. Obstacles aren't contrast enough with background.
Nice puzzle with a pretty clear and fun core idea. Good job.
The idea of the game is awsome, it really unusual and fun, additionally creates a pretty interesting level design and goals for the player. However, movent feels bat, character jumps are sluggish and unsatisfying. But other parts of the game are great.
A pretty nice idea, but in my opinion, level generator is a little bit messy and it's easy to loose because of knifes on the food line.
Well polished arcade game, which can become an excellent mobile game if you add level generation and polish visuals further.
A pretty interesting idea with fine art and sounds.
It's a great firs submission, keep going and do your best in the future!
A pretty exepcional puzzle game with mine carts. The game looks and plays great.
A pretty fun small game about everyday chores, but sometimes tasks aren't clear.
Extremely polished submission with tons of juice, excellent movement, simple, but very entertaining core gameplay and smooth difficulty curve for a hardcore game. Well done, looking forward to seeing this game on Steam.
I love the idea of the game, it's fun and pretty interesting to play. The enly problem is that beginning isn't very obvious.
A nice and well polished submission, looking forward to seeing announce of the full game!
A pretty clever and well made puzzle game, thank you!
Congratulation with the very first LD game, here are some suggestions: 1. Start timer. It definitely make game better as player will see when the game will start; 2. I can see obstacles in front of me, it would be better to change the camera or level layout to straght.
Small but neat puzzle game with a nice atmosphere and visuals.
A pretty interesting isdea of the game with peculiar level design. Nice work.
It's a really strong submission with cool music, stylish art and smooth difficulty curve. The only problem I faced is that it's not very clear when I can swap the line, it need some additional indication.
The game has some vibes of Portal and FEAR at the same time. The idea is interesting and creepy.
I like the idea of the game. It's easy to start but hard to master. However, shooting seems redundant in the game, as I can spam it without any restrictions.
A very enjoyable arcanoid, which reminds me solo pong from GMTK 2019, great effects, art and juice. Well done, and thank you for your tutorials.
A pretty interesting game with strong vibes of classic games. It looks cohesive and fun to play, sounds are decent and make a good feel of good old times.
It's a fun small game with fine difficulty curve and maing systems. In my opinion, it would have been better, if you had made a procedural levels.
This game is incredible, the idea is crazy as hell, great music, camera, sfx, art. It deserves my heart!
Nice game, small and neat. I like level design and movement.
Hilarious game, absolutely hilarious.
The game is hard and fun. Movement is smooth and the death is fast!
It a great submission. The mood is great, the mechanics with characters is interesting. However, in my opinion, it hard to navigate sometimes because of the number of obstacles in front of characters. In addition, I deem, that it would be better to make ranger aim automatically.
As usual, your team did a great job. The idea of the game is great, as well as gameplay; however, card games isn't my cup of tea.
As usual, the game is superb. It's minimalistic and fun. The only thing I would have changed is sonar mechanics. It would be better, if there were some small restriction, because I can rapidly activate sonar, something like a short cooldown.
I love this game, it has fine art, nice music and fun gameplay. A really good submission which is thoroughly polished and interesting to play.
At first, the game seem relaxing, but after it turns out to be Flappy Bird. I like the idea, but in my opinion the game is too hard to play at the beginning. And big respect for Godot.
@jitspoe completely understand you. That's why I adopt the approach to make a jam game slightly easier despite strong notion that players must suffer!
The game looks and feels great, I love vibes of classic NES games which you thoroughly reproduced. Great job.
It's the perfect jam game. It's hilarious, fun to play and simple. Great job.
The game is great. I really like the mechanics of the game, however, it has too steep difficulty curve.
@grounddoon нужно собрать 3 ключа и принести их к выходу. :)
@tentaclemax рад, что понравилось.
@andidebob thank you for playing. Yeah, the rules of the game are unclear and the problem is that there is a lack of indication, that monster also moves between chambers with the character.
@joedev thank you for playing. Yes the maze is randomly generated each playthrough and you have to explore it to find keys and exit. :) The visuals are great, but they're poorly optimised. I need to learn more about UE4 optimisation.
@plaskijakdeska thank you for playing!
@eugenik thank you for playing!
@threaded-lama-digital thank you for playing.
@glitchman thank you for playing. Yes, there are a problem with explanation of the rules at the beginning.Talking of coins outside rooms, it's a bug, which we couldn't fix.
@doctortm thank you for playing!
@javasaurus much appreciate for playing during the stream. We actually planned some kind of platformer with different traps and puzzles in each room. But we didn't have much time to implement them (as usual).
@justcamh thank you for playing, much appreciate that you take some time to play our game! It's always helpful to watch how someone is playing your game.
@skelleroznik thank you for playing!
@chambre19 thank you. It's great to hear that the game could become a full game, however, I try to avoid such a practice.
@legolula thank you for playing!
@doriansnowball thank you for playing. Yea, the animation isn't good for teleportation, but we needed to add something to indicate teleportation process.:)
@annie-owl thank you for playing. Doubtlessly, the game has a problematic UX which causes a lot of troubles to players.
@xpoho это проблема рендера Vulcan, есть странная штука, что при билде под DX игра съедала 99% видео памяти на пустой сцене. Vulcan работает не увсех, к сожалению, можно попробовать переустановить драйвера.
@lesinvisible thank you for playng. I'm happy that you like the atmosphere.
@gazal thank you for playing!
@jmo14 thanks!
@lucas-viana thank you for your time. Each 50 coins you get an extra life.
@cheesepencil unfortunately, I can't, this game is made with UE4.
@bobafett89 thank you for playing. We planned to add some puzzles an simple platformer mechanics, but we didn't have much time it create them.
@breadstix thank you for playing!
@pickens-inc thanky you. Talking of the monster, it always tries to follow the player and if you go to the room which is near to the monster, it's high likely that it also enters that room. Talking of the visuals, we opted out because we didn't create models at all.
@room606 thank you for playing. To close VIM you should enter :wq
@katamary thank you for feedback.
@andrewaprice thank you for playing.
@rhoff95 thank you for playing.
@asfdfdfd thank you for playing!
@patatenouille thank you for your feedback. I recognise, there are a lot of UX problems, we had several ideas to make it better, however, we didn't have time to implement when. Eventually, I decided, that it's better to deliver a game with minimum bugs, than trying to implement new mechanics in hurry.
@guitarbro thank you for playing. Yeah, we understood that we should have added some additional interfaces or indicators which could have helped players to understand where they are.
I love the level design you made in the game. It feels polished. In my opinion, it would be better to make character move slower. Nice work.
The first two levels are a little bit unclear, as you have to infect an enemy three times to kill them. However, the game becomes absolutely clear and fun to play on the third level because of new enemies with guns. Movement is smooth and enjoyable, visuals are pleasing, but in my opinion, you could make the aberration effect less intense.
The game is hard and fun. I like movement and overall idea with controls. Great job.
Congratulation with the very first ludum dare! It's a really good game for a first try, don't give up! By the way, you can use my [**small template project**](https://github.com/TrickyFatCat/game-jam-template) in the future.
The idea of the game is great. Gameplay is fine, but I don't like shooting animation, it's long and doesn't have some additional frames at the beginning, as a result I thought that something went wrong. Anyway, the game is fun and has some Doom Eternal vibes.
The idea of the game is interesting, however, the controls are weird and counterintuitive. It takes a considerable time to understand how they work. However, I love how flying feels, really enjoy just flying in the space on the train.
Oh, the game is great. It simple, but deep. I love the simplicity of mechanics but very thorough implementation. However, I don't like the camera, it's clunky to control.Great job!
@joedev and is the mole's name Solid Mole, isn't it?
Приятная маленькая игра. Единственное что бы изменил, убрал бы ускорение, добавил бы замедление по кнопке, но с кулдауном. Также было бы круто скорость постепенно повышать (не заметил этого эффекта).
Tiny fun game with a mechanics about which I have thought for many times. It feel and looks superb. Great job.
This game has a fine graphics and interesting gameplay. Really nice submission.
A solid submission with fine art and smooth gameplay, the only thing I would change is the start difficulty. It's a little bit overwhelming at the very beginning. And here is the alternative title, "The last of Oink".
The game looks and feel great, I like movement a lot and overall atmosphere. Great job.
The idea is great, really enjoy this puzzle game. Visuals are fine and puzzles are pretty interesting.
The short, but funny game. In my opinion, mixing 3D and pixel art is a bad idea for a jam, but I like how it works in your game. And it's hard to admit that the game has the most romantic ending I've ever seen.
Visuals are superb as well as sound. Speaking of gameplay, it's fun and easy to learn. Well done.
It's a nice submission with a cute art, however there is a room for improvement: 1. Obviously, sounds, it's better to add some as without them the game feels worse than it could be. You can find a lot of good free sound packs around the internet. 2. In my opinion the character moves too fast and decelerate too slow. 3. I would recommend to increase rate of fire of the first weapon and reduce its spread.
One of the funniest touchtyping game I've ever played. It has a gorgeous art and incredible idea. Well done.
I like the idea of the game. However, in my opinion the character should move a little bit faster. Also, it's a little bit too dark in the level, thus it's hard to orient around. Anyway, well done.
The game is fine and fun to play, however it's challenging to get my head round gameplay, as the UX a little bit cluncky. However, the idea is great.
Yet another hilarious game. But there is the bear?
Small and fun little game, the idea in interesting.
The game looks gorgeous. I really like the animations as well as art. The main idea is olso decent and fun to play. Great work!
I adore this game, the idea is simple, but fun to play. Moreover, it's balanced well, that I can't stop playing for a while. Extremely decent submission, well done, as always.
People ask me how I managed to make my game in 3 days. And now I ask you the same question. It's incredible.
A small but pretty interesting submission. I like visuals and overall idea, however, I don't like the camera, it feel cluncky and the fact that the character don't run all the time as slow movement need reraly. Anyway, it's a solid submission, well done.
It's outstading little point-and-click game, which not only tells the story of Vincent Van Goth, but also uses his paintings for the art. It's small and clever story game, well done.
A totally accurate game development simulator. The game is hilarious and cohesive. I love everything in it, notably, visuals.
I had similar idea in the past. You did a great job, it's insanely well polished game.
I like the idea of the game, it's fun and unusual. Visuals are decent, levels are fun. The only thing I don't really like is the movement, in my opinion it's a little bit slow. Hwever, overall it's amazing submission, well done!
Incredibly fun tiny game, which I can describe as a totally accurate loader simulator.
The game look gorgeous, as always. Movement is fine, but in my opinion cat jumps too high. Talking of levels, in my opinion they are a little bit too hard, because it's hard to understand where is the target plug. Also it's was out of the blue, when the second wire were introduce. Anyway, a very strog submission, well done.
@katamary then, double jumps, in my opinion would have been better.
@adamjn thank you for playing!
@findoff I'm sorry for that, unfortunetly I can't help you with that. Frankly, I can't test the build myself, because of my videocard.
@dominic-graziano thank you for playing!
@e-m this is the honk!
@chainsawmcd thank you.
@julien-darras much appreciate.
@uboretsky HONK
@jammygunns than you for kind words and determination.
@findoff yeah, I accidentally uploaded the wrong archive.
@zvyaga thank you for playing.
@polymathld much appreciate. The secret is that I have a small prototyping plugin with the most basic stuff like menus, hud, and some basic classes to implement the most basic stuff. However, the most important ingridient is the team.
@peterfiftyfour thank you for playing.
@fear-games the theme is HONK
@senso thank you.
@tomorrowtoday if you're talking about Linux, we've just uploaded a Linux build on Itich.io page.
@kubulambula thank you!
@marin0104 Thank you for your kind words and playing.
@mrchip I'm sorry for that, I wish to found out how to optimize games for LD in UE4.
@falawiska thank you.
@andreadbx thank you for your stream, it was great.
@justcamh much appreciate your feedback during the stream.
@lucas-viana you always can play previous installments on my itch. By the way, the second game was made with Godot.
@erikengineengineer thank you for playing and sharing your experience on stream!
@merri thanks, we tried our best.
@kyrylo-kalienich indeed
@federico-giorgi thank you for such a dedication;
@andidebob unfortunately, there is a bug. Funnily, we had a similar bug with HONK II, you couldn't finish the last level. Thank you for playing.
@thebooksnail thank you for playing!
@katamary thank you bad human!
@skyeward haha, much appreciate your kind words.
@nicolas-revillon HONK!
@tron thanks.
@wafflecomposite thank you for playing. Talking of plasma, it's a unique bug for a Linux. However, we're working on a post-jam version, and it's highly likely that the bug will be fixed.
@hermeses thank you for such kind words.
@hadik much appreciate your feedback. We are going to fix sensitivity in a post-jam version.
@oneiromancer thank you for playing.
@sheol thank you!
@deav big thanks for playing. We are going to implement damage indication and fix lightning in all levels.
@kenforest thank you!
@nanda-sbr thanks.
@parttimeindie thank you.
@arthurds obligatory HONK response!
@alexthehuman2 thank you for your strem. We will fix this bug in a post-jam version.
@zhanna HONK!
@steve7411 thank you for playing!
@adrian-guevara There is no theme, only HONK!
@feyola Thank you for playing, but we decided that we don't want to follow the theme to finish this exclusive LDjam series. Talking of HONK, it's like Untitled Goose Game.
@artemy-zen thank you for stream!
@dgspitzer thank you for playing the game.
@trexxak much appreciate your kind words.
@robonaut121 Only III, maybe HONK Eternal in the far future. I'm sorry that the game doesn't run smoothly on your laptop. By the way, we released a post-jam version, you should try it, as we tried to optimize the game.
@nikiprotiv HONK
@alex-chertilin thank you for playing. But be aware, the game were made using C++.
@real-flamingicecubegames thank you for such a kind words.
@mharring much appreciate your kind words. There is no theme, only HONK.
@xpoho главный герой и есть гусь!
@ninjacatz thank you for playing. Actually, you beat the game, in the third level the lever is broken. We fixed it in the post-jam version.
@annie-owl thank you for playing. We tried to fix lightning in a post-jam version.
@blurdeblah thank you. There is no theme, only HONK!
@xeke-death thanks. We fixed doors in the post-jam vernion.
@forik thank you!
@muros thank you for your kind words.
@bak thank you!
@baturinsky thank you for playing. It's not a lower resolution, it's a postprocess shader. And it helps to conceal some visual problems with our assets.
@subcreation thank you.
@yaroslav-kravtsov thanks for playing. It's an important part of classic Doom games, that you can beat the game almost without killing enemies.
@rextgun thank you. However, we take a decision to make a third game year ago, right after HONK II was released.
@salohcin894 thank you. Indeed, the enemies are not that aggressive how I expected.
@mikoziq much appreciate!
@aevek thank you for your kind words.
@ddrkirbyisq thank you for playing. I'm sorry for a motion sickness. Talking of explosion. This effect we took from a free asset pack.
@pierre-morreel much appreciate such a detailed feedback. We tried to improve our UX in a post-jam version. But not that much, unfortunately, I faced the UE4 bug which prevented me to implement damage indication quickly.
@enad96 thank you for playing. I created a special plugin for rapid prototyping. This plugin contains some basic staff like menus, barebones interactive actors and pickups. Basic health system. It's really helpful as I shouldn't write again a lot of basic things and focus on gameplay mechanics. Also, our team is big.
@sherwood actually, you are right to some degree. It was made during LD49 for LD49. Thank you for playing.^_^
@fedegelo Thank you for playing. Talking of the theme, we honked at it.
@oillen much appreciate such a detailed feedback, thank you.
@dingledorf thank you.
@splitpainter thank you for playing. We just decided in advance, that we wanted to make a classic shooter during the LD49 about our beloved Gooseguy. Because, LD is a good opportunity to make a game you really want to develop.
@michelangelo thank you for kind words.
@emkani thank you for playing.
@phobos001 much appreciate your playthrough. We fixed the majority of bugs and problems in our post-jam version. It would be great, if you check it!
@piper-thompson with a tremendous effort.
@alexej thank you for playing. And there is no theme, only HONK.
@jpgfg thank you for playing.
@brandondev thanks.
@shea-kelly and it's for the third time!
@gaming-night thank you. Talking of some preperation. I have a plugin for rapid prototyping, it contains some basic things, which I can find in majority of games. For instance, interaction logic, basic gameloop, main menu, hud, pause menu, game over screen, interactive actors (e.g. doors, buttons), basic pickup logic. This plugin doesn't provide our team with a game, but it provides us with some stuff which isn't funny to recreate every game jam or prototype. However, I change some parts of it during the jam for HONK.
@llaumegui thank you for playing.
@mhm32167 thank you.
@elysiagriffin much appreciate your streams!
@wakka2 thank you.
@sharks thank you for playing. Did you use shortcut to achieve this time?
@sharks there are four hidden doors in the first level concealed as a wall. To open them, you should press E near them. Like in good old doom. :)
@pcmaster thank you for playing.
@zimny11 thank you for kind words.
@rodel77 thank you for playing. It seems, that we forgot to enable v-sync.
@lucas-cancio thank you for playing, next time we will make Honk of Tsushima.
@jerem-watts thank you for playing.
@mhorth thanks, I have plans to add to my plugin a simple options menu.
@ryjcio thank you for playing.
@xiyou thanks.
@anchorlight thank you for such a detailed feedback. Talking of shooting problems on Linux. I don't know why is this, as it's absolutely strange. However, the build were made in Windows using Epic's toolchain, I deem that this bug may connects with this. Unfortunately, our team don't have a Linux PC to test and build the game, however, we use toolchain to create builds on Windows.
@togis Thank you for your stream.
@landosystems thank you for such kind words.
@coolestdoggie thank you for playing.
@dock-frankenstein thanks.
@rongo-matane thank you for playing, you can switch weapons using the mouse wheel.
@cody-miner thank you for your attempt, I'm sorry for the poor performance, we tried to optimise the game, but there are some problems with systems without a dedicated videocard.
@sleepystudios much appreciate!
@cebula thank you for playing!
@heiach next HONK will be HONK 2026.
@justcamh much appreciate your kind words. Frankly, I'm also disappointed a little bit, however, I'm happy with the feedback I got during the jam. It's the most valuable thing!
I like this fun game, I wish I never got to such a caffee.
Adoreable story and game.
This game is sick. I really like the idea. But god, I got a nausea after some time!XD
Small and very clever game with tons of content. I adore how much mechanics and level you made for this game. In addition, I really like the humour. Great job.
An extremely nice game with a fascinating core gameplay. Great work.
I love the game, it's fun to play and really challenging. At the beginning it's hard to use controls, but little by little you'll get used to it. Well done Pomo!
The most accurate flat earth simulator. The game is fun and well made. Great job.
A very fun small game, you did (as always) a great job in terms of combat design. It's fun and dynamic, well done.
I love your submission. The idea is great and feels right. The only thing I don't like in it, that I can't understand the position of the magnet. Overall a very nice submission, well done.
Wow, this game is just amazing. It's absolutely clevel puzzle strategy game. The core gameplay is impressively easy to learn, but hard to master. Well done!
This game is extremely fun and stylish, the core mechanics is entertaining and enjoyable to paly. The music is just awsome. Well done.
A pretty fascinating top-down shooter with an interesting gimmick. Nice job.
An impressive compo submission. It's gorgeous, well balanced, and has an incredible soundtrack. Well done!
This game is absolutely hilarious, I wish you made it in 72 hours and add more!
The idea of the game is astonishing. The movement and art are impressive and satisfying. However, the UX is clunky, because I struggle to understand what I have to do with clients. Moreover, I don't like that I have to press 1, 2, 3 to interact. In my opinion, you should have made only one button for interaction.
Small cohesive submission. Well done.
The idea of the game is simple, but it's challenging and fun. Notably, the physics of the blocks finely adjusted, therefore there isn't any typical problems of physics games.
Good job
I really like this small, but hilarious game. The texts are clever and fun to read. Great work. The only thing I don't like, that it's not that obvious how to restart the game if you lost.
It's a nice small game with a great idea. Well done.
I love such a simple and fun idea. The only complaint is that there is no Dvorak layout!
A fine small game, the movement feels a little bit floaty, anyway it's a decent submission, well done.
The base idea of the game is impressive as well as the visuals and gameplay. However, in my opinion, the platform is quite small, as a result, the game has a considerably high entry level.
Overall, the idea is great. But the gameplay is a little bit clunky. I can grind one zombie for a long time, as it may have quite a lot HP. In addition, it's hard to understand the damaged area. Anyway, great job to finish the jam, well done.
A decent submission as usual, I like such a smart idea.
I love this game, the idea is extremely clever as well as the level design, music, and overall game progression. Good job!
Quite a nice game, the gameplay is simple, but challenging at the same time. Great job.
@mdx thank you for playing!
@jakubbala thank you for the feedback.
@mr-kitkat thank you.
@vilmantas much appreciate your feedback.
@simex thank you for playing. Green crystals restore 5 seconds of your life.
@erikengineengineer thank you for your stream!
@tomatolamp thank you for the feedback.
Well, the game has quite an addictive gameplay. The movement is challenging, however, I didn't have many problems with it. On the other hand, it's not that obvious that I have to keep a certain movement speed.
The idea of the game is smart. It works with the theme incredibly well. Controls are fine as well as visuals and sounds. However, the UI lacks good button feedback.
Well, yet again you made a really cool small funny game. But in my opinion, this time it's quite too hard. Mainly because of the difficulty curve. Sometimes first questions can have a lot of elements to sort and I just didn't have much time to press the clock. In addition, there is no hover feedback on UI elements including the clock. I highly recommend to make spacebar as a key to send the result.
An excellent puzzle game. The rules are simple, but flexible enough to create satisfactory levels. Superb.
Small funny game, well done
It's a qute tiny game with extremely witty humour and beautiful visuals. Really enjoyed playing it, well done.
Fantastique small game, I adore the way you use the idea with the button, because it's the best ralisation of such mechanic on the jam I've seen so far. And visuals are great.
Small but addictive game. The idea with the floors is amazing, a really clever move to use the theme, well done.
Yet again, a really solid fun game with great visuals. Really enjoyed playing it. Well done.
I adore visuals and sound. The game is a superb experience. Great job.
@bugbyte14 thank you!
@bit-flipz thanks for playing, indeed, the difficulty is quite high in the second level.
@nenechico I'm sorry for that, but happy that you had fun.
@augustcoder thank you for the feedback, we will improve difficulty in the post-jam version of the game. Talking about the theme, there is an event which happens every 10 seconds.;)
@yogurtthehorse unfortunately no, we can try to build it.
@chris1919 @elysiagriffin @keip @balduin @black-potion @frogman @lightterradog @silentplaygames @mvasko2 @infinitycore thank you for playing and feedback, much appretiated.
@badcop thank you for playing, it's pity that I wasn't on your stream that moment. :(
@harry-alissavakis much appreciated, you did a great job streaming various games.
@nilolo @epeachyband @chybby @pietrek @grau @trexxak @aurel300 @itshornunicorn @no-grapes-games @pfs @durkagames @tanner-shelton @link270 thank you for playing and feedback!
@icxon thank you for the playthrough
@satacat @notexplosive @almost @tomssuli @bart-moon @rosymaple thank you for playing
@mikoziq thank you, we will make more games!
An extremely clever puzzle game. I really like the base mechanics, you should try to make a full version of the game with better visuals and sounds. Great job.
This game has vibes of the previous LD, but still, works with the current one extremely well. Great job.
Great compo submission as always. It's not that clear without reading the text. But overall great job.
A superb idea and its realization, it's simple but addictive. The only problem I had was with the interface and tutorial level. I think it's better to have a step-by-step tutorial when you ask the player to do something instead of giving the freedom to choose the page.
The idea of the game is great. I really like the tutorial part with voiceovers. But I wish there were some way to skip the tutorial, e.g. by turning off the radio.
However, the biggest problem of the game is the lack of feedback for a timer, at least some sound of ticking. Also, there are no sound cues when the enemy moves.
Anyway, good job.
I love the mood of the game, texsts, sounds. Talking about the shader, it looks stylish, but a little bit too much, to a degree that it was hurdle to navigate around.
Quite an interesting small arcade game. Nice job.
A very small, but peculiar game. Well done!
The game looks great, but the lack of progression/tutorial makes it harder to learn at the beginning.
An extremely good submission for a jam. Controls, visuals, movement are great. I would recommend to increase camera angle, as it doesn't feel right for a top-down game. In addition, it would be great to give player cheap upgrades after firs couple of shifts. Lastly, UI visually looks great, but it's hard to read the information after shift.
The game feels strange in a positive way. Apart of bugs and UX inconveniences, I don't like too choose whatever card I want. If you give player a choice, open all cards to player, with all cards closed, I can't make a conscious decision what I want.
I like this game, it's simple, fun and about cat. Visuals are adorable.
Impressive game, as I understand it quite quickly without watching your video tutorial. However, still don't know how to clean the tile from crystals. Well done!
@honest-dan ah, I see, but the tooltip gave me different impression. Well, in this case, it works well. Despite the fact, it's not my type of game, I spend a considerable amount of time in it (for a jam game).
Unexpected Unity game from you. I like the music and visuals. However, it would have been better to add some postprocess shader like I used in some of our previous games. Also, the movement speed doesn't match the music, it's too fast, it would have been better just to walk slowly around an gather flowers for your small house.
Game idea is funny. I like movement, it feels great, but level design feels boring and doesn't fit the core gameplay loop. Also, sometimes I can't give required money even though I have them. Anyway, good job for the jam.
Quite a peculiar puzzle game. Really easy to grasp without tutorial, yep, I skipped your text tutorial to test how easy it's to learn just playing it.:)
A small fine game, visuals are great. Movement feels a little bit too floaty, but not the end of the world. But I don't like controls, I prefer WASD to move and mouse buttons to control the hook.
@yogurtthehorse I'm ok with the aiming through rotating the ship, I mean for me as a user of 60% keyboard it's not comfortable to use arrows. But WASD and e.g. mouse buttons or space and shift is more comfortable.
@yogurtthehorse I've played a lot of shooters. XD
@diccuric-sigeon there is a Linux version
@chybby thank you for playing. Yes, first 2 levels are quite long, we will change the level order in a post jam version
@kingpotatocannon thank you
@diccuric-sigeon you didn't say that you have Mac. Unfortunately, we can't make a Mac build. :( Talking of visuals, they're from packs, that's why we opted out the art.
@enad96 ahah, much appreciated
@superpokeunicorn thank you for playing
@kenneth-dd thank you. We will change the order of the levels later
@pitisek what OS do you use?
@pitisek interesting behavior, because mouse cursor is actually locked and works well. Haven't tested this in Sandbox
@therealjtgill thank you for your feedback. Agree the first level is too big and a little bit too barren. The third and fourth levels are much better as starting ones. We will fix in the post-jam version.
@pomo next time we will provide you with a game with buttons which do nothing and it'll take about 8 hours to beat it. We'll call it "Click On Default Unreal Button".
@picross Thank you for playing!
@yamzho thank you. Yeah, the controls are really nasty. On the other hand they bring some old-school charm.
@riesyeti thank you for playing. We used my personal collection of plugins for rapid prototyping, which helps to avoid creating a lot of standard stuff you can find in games. Assets aren't ours, that's why we opted out art. In addition, the majority of the team are seasonal jammers and actual game developers.
@asfdfdfd thank you for playing!
@she-wrote thank you!
@aendawyn it would be great to know your setup. And here is an experimental build, could you check it? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PzpAQB2hz5ZyS2VeZQKQvBj1x48YE90U/view?usp=share_link
@aendawyn is the game playable now? Could you check video memory usage?
@aendawyn I've uploaded a new post-jam version with changes, I hope it's much better for you.
@mhorth thank you for playing, we fixed controls, level order and the buttons in the post-jam version.
@hawkin thanks. Unfortunately we didn't have any gamepad support. I believe that the main problem with enemies is a ranged attack, which allows easily cheesing enemies. Talking about management. We are seasonal jammers and half of the team are actual game developers.
@splitpainter thank you for playing! Looking forward to see the release of your game.
@dannyk1994 much appreciated
@minakorii thank you for playing. We changed camera controls in the post-jam version, you can check it.
@j0ye thanks, in the post-jam version we changed the order of levels to make sure that people can play shorter levels. Fortunately, you don't need to finish all levels.
@his-the-unknown-painter thanks for playing, you should try a post-jam version with better controls.
@katamary thank you for playing
@silentplaygames much appreciated
@kuviman thank you so much for the stream
@sakura-magika thanks for playing. We didn't do any visuals, that's why we opted out art.
@fatpenguin thank you for playing. All models are from asset packs, this is the main reason why we opted out art. We don't have any 3D artist in our team.
@xandruher much appreciated. Well, didn't have time to create proper credits in the project description.
@mika314 thank you for playing.
@matthew-lie thanks!
@milq this game is Ludum Dare exclusive. The majority of us work in game development, and don't have time to work on an actual indie game.
@xandruher we don't have any artist in the team. All assets are from 3 different asset packs we tried to utilize as much as we can.
@chispalbc thank you for playing. Not sure why it's weird, I'm a seasonal jammer here!
@tweekstudios thanks. Indeed, the game isn't good enough to be called a full game.
@geckoo1337 thank you for playing!
@hayricakir thank you.
@dock-frankenstein thank you for playing.
@honest-dan much appreciated your stream.
Movement, visuals and sounds are great. But the lack of some in-game tutorial make the beginning not that smooth. It's always great to have some tutorial integrated in the level to teach the player basics. Also, it would be great to have a hint for objects with which the payer can interact.
The game feels too short and it doesn't bring a lot of challenge. Movement is good. Overall, I would recommend to work a little bit more on gameplay loop next time to make sure that the player will keep playing your game more. E.g. you could create more levels with different enemies and castles to attack. Anyway, congratulations with a first Ludum Dare game, great job. And yeah, great to see Godot engine!
Unfortunately, couldn't understand the rules, even screenshots didn't help me. The lack of feedback on actions also contribute to my confusion.:(
A really good submission. To be honest, it can easily become a full game.
As usual a very simple game in terms of game design, but fun to play and addictive. Well done!
A really clever and scary game based on a very simple idea. Really enjoy it, well done! You can try to make a full game out of this idea.
Quite an interesting way to educate people about nature, greed and how we influence environment. Well done.
Nice little compo game. Good job!
Design wise the game is tiny, but extremely polished. And the idea is extremely clever. I love movement a lot, it's so fun to run around. As well as visuals and sounds are top notch. The only thing I don't like is the lack of feedback on damage taken. I whish there were more enemy types and some kind of dash, but it's not a showstopper. Great work.
Nice little game with great visuals. Really enjoy it.
The game feel repetitive and become boring too fast. Enemies are easy and the difference between them is only in visuals, amount of health and movement speed. It would be great to add something more than that, e.g. some ranged attack. In addition, level feels too big and empty. But anyway, congratulations with a finished game on a game jam!
Gameplay feels aimless, just do one thing over and over again. In addition, sometimes space doesn't activate the action, however the tile is highliteted.
Nice little game, but the difficulty curve is a little bit too high at the beginning. It would be great to open new bugs gradually.
I adore idea and execution. Everything feels great and in place. Unfortunately, I have a 60% keyboard, as a result the game become even harder. XD Great job.
The idea is hilariously good. I enjoyed playing the first tractor, but the big boy feels redundant. Nice job.
Nice strategy game with robust gameplay loop and balance. I adore visuals and the story. Well done!
I love the twist!
Visuals and graphics are top-notch, really like them. Talking of gameplay, it feels a little bit respective and enemies are quite spongy, I don't feel shotgun as a proper Doom shotgun, unfortunately. Anyway, it's a really good submission.
A small funny game with very lovely art. The idea is simple, but well developed. Great job.
Narration is insanely well done, I love the dialogues and voiceovers, you guys did a superb work.
I like an idea of the game, the first impression is rough, but I love the fact that I have to do several things at the same time.
Yet again, you did it, and did it well. I really love the game. It's really easy to catch, but have a deep gameplay as usual.
Orange trees! I like the game, it's challenging and controls are great.
Well, it's a really good strategy game, I adore how good it is and deep for a 3 day development time. To be honest, this concept can become a full game as a game about managing drone delivery chain. Well done.
I LOVE visuals, they are fantastic. Gameplay wise, it's good, but extremely hardcore, even on a normal difficulty. I can say one thing, Pomo's game is easier than yours to play!
A really good looking and fine polished game. Like the controls, however, there's almost no challenge in the game. Good job.
A really solid submission. I adore old-school look and really sleek movement with great music and gameplay loop. Well done.
I like the concept of the game and how you reveal it, really clever and fun.
Hilarious, fun and quite challenging game.
@cheesepencil I would love, but it's impossible.:(
@soloadventurergames thank you for playing.
@tomas-selmeci thank you
@drapfelwurst thanks!
@patatenouille thanks for the feedback. Agree that we don’t utilize egg in puzzles enough. Talking about levels, they’re much smaller than in a previous one, but still can be smaller and more focused on gameplay.
@pomo No worries! I was extremely tired after a jam and workday. :)
@thae @tnnv @jcmonkey @dingledorf @freshbone @groundwater-studio thank you for playing!
@chybby thanks for playing. Indeed it's harsh to do a hard reset of the level, and it was a tough decision. However, it was the best way to emphasize our intent.
@strangeryann than you for feedback! Indeed we had some inspiration from Mario.
@daniboygg thank you!
@tetrergeru hey, thank you for the play. Did the game crashed?
@kartun04 I'm sorry for the performance on your machine. Next time we will try to add a proper settings window.
@snakemuho yay!
@tetrergeru or maybe it was somewhere else.:)
@pomo oh no, I've missed your stream because I fell asleep. :(
@wolfier thanks for playing.
@mateusboga thank you for the stream!
@coderaurus thanks.
@renardgames @honest-dan @weirdbitgames @chris1919 @trexxak @picross thank you for playing!
Yet again a decent arcade game. My main criticism is that the level doesn't work well with movement you adjusted. It feels much smaller than it really should be for such high speed. In addition, a lot of small objects has collisions with the player and packages, as a result it's hard to navigate through the level because of them. But still, it's fun experience.
Nice job, control feels good, but the choice of keys is strange for me.
Small and simple game with a really good challenge and polished gameplay. Well done.
I love this game. The idea is simple and clear, sounds and visuals are good. Controls are fine, but it would be great to have an option to invert W and D controls. Well done.
A very funny boomer shooter with great grathics.
1. It's stylish and gorgeous, I really love the looks. 2. The idea of fusing Tetris and tower defence is clever and fits the theme extremely well 3. It plays good, but a little bit counterintuitive without reading instructions 4. Great job, one of the best from you!
@honest-dan it wasn't obvious that turrets require food.
Classic puzzle in from a new perspective. Looks good, level design is great. The only problem I see is the default camera, it's extremely uncomfortable to use, thus I just hold Space all the time to have a better view.
Beautiful and absolutely mind crushing puzzle, well done.
This is brilliant, the game is simple, but addictive. However, the best part is the whole idea, great job!
@spike-studio thanks, we tried our best!
@borderdestroyer thanks!
@holysparks Now we are game jam buddies
@tentacledream thank you for playing, we planned to add the second weapon, but didn't have time to implement
@mortusnegati thanks for feedback, I completely forgot about mushrooms while worked on the visual pass -_- Will fix it in a post jam version
@krassenstein thank you for playing and stream
@merdeboi thanks, we will improve balance in a post jam version
@philocode thank you! You caught quite a strange bug
@leiggarfeed thank you
@fatemperor thanks for searching!
@dock-frankenstein thanks for playing, this bug will be fixed in a post jam version
@pabloabraham thank you!
@usagitsukino thank you for playing!
@jormarysky thanks
@camden-obertop thanks for playing!
@jamesw this is war private, not a playground!
A nice little game. At first it was hard to understand how the theme were used, until I finished the first level. In my opinion, levels for modules are redundant, as I always choose the highest level out of all. Also, it would be great to see visual feedback on taking damage by the player and enemies.
The game looks and plays fun. Like visuals and music, but aiming on arrows isn't a good idea in my opinion, mouse would have been better.
The cutest opening scene ever! Well it's well designed and hard as hell. However, I think, that the very second bone sequence is a little bit too punishing for the very beginning and feels unfair in comparison with next ones, which are easier to learn and execute after a bit of training.
@pomo will play a nerfed version
A nice little puzzle game with solid rules and levels, really like it.
The art is beatiful, but the game lacks gameplay consistency and clarity:
1. There's no sounds on player actions, only music. I can understands that this is a jam, but sounds makes all the difference to player experience in the game. Fortunately, you can find some decent free sound packs on itch.io
2. I would not recommend to keep in UI elements which don't work, just to avoid tons of obvious feedback that something doesn't work, because you didn't have time to implement it properly.
3. Enemy bullets are a little bit too small and fast in comparison to player character speed.
Nice top-down action game, however, the music during combat is too soothing and out of place, not a show stopper, as I had great time while playing it. Good job.
The game has vibes of Flower, however the rules seems a bit confusing because of some issues in UX, at the beginning I though that I can jump only between linked points, but it seems that rules are different or the visuals are off in some levels. The throw mechanics is a bit wonky and hard to use as the grenade throws not form the middle of the screen, but from the top. I want to note the music and the visuals, they create a soothing atmosphere. Great job.
A cute tiny game. I really like the idea and realization. I like the balance of the game, however I would made the beginning a bit faster.
Nice little towers game about cats. I like visuals.
At the beginning it was hard to understand the game without reading a tutorial, but after it was extremely fun to play. Well done!
I like this game, the core gameplay loop is fun and unique. Notably, the difficulty curve is decent and doesn't feel too easy or too hard. Visuals are simple and stylish, great job guys.
Congratulations with the submission. I clearly see that you were inspired by Hades, you are a team of culture. However it feels like you drastically overscoped. The combat feels too long and not punchy, it's hard to say when an enemy will die and feels like they're mostly damage sponges. The idea that you can summon defeated enemies sounds cool and I used it a lot to progress through the game. Great job!
@social-mushroom not at the moment. But we will try to make it.
@bassilij @anifan-gelati @sstyles93 @andreadbx @baluj @persepolis @soffu @sariiger @pascal-fitzner @mitur @givit-game-studios @zonoxx @vaustxiii @yoruvii @wandering-composer @velvetlobster @rita-pressanykey @stanov @asfdfdfd @tnnv @kaesterin @julia-nemo @razicat @furaze @yangsang @darkwolf
Thank you for your feedback. I recognize the UX issues with menus, and it was too late in development when I realize it. Our team is happy that you had good time in the game despite the menu controls!
@dxk2294 @maimai Thank you for playing!
@justcamh thanks for playing!
I like the idea of the game, however it has some issues with UX and feedback. First, it's hard to understand the goal of the game from the very beginning, it would be great to add some UI indication of the enemy cat. Second, it lacks some sound and visual feedback which indicates that my character gets some damage and summon the frog. Anyway, congrats with submission!
I like the concept of the game, that we need to recycle minions into different minions to progress in rituals. However, the level feels too big to explore, considering that the game doesn't have any challenge. In addition, it's not that obvious that I need to use mouse wheel to switch between the rituals because of an icon.
Pomo in the finest, it's hard, it's simple and it's fun.
The concept is interesting, however the UX is a bit wonky because you hide tasks behind the button. Also, the physics is a bit buggy.
@judjudson to be clear, I'm talking about UI with objectives not the actual objectives in the world, they are fine without any hints.
@judjudson I'm talking about the list of objectives I have which I open by pressing F, even though you have a tutorial, it would be better to have objectives tracker in HUD.
I like the game, however the difficulty curve is quite off. I like how you show player health via people.
Fun little game with a simple but well polished game mechanics. I like visuals and sounds.
I love visuals and music. However, gameplay wise the game feels a bit random because I have no clear goals and understanding what to do. Anyway, congrats with finishing the jam.
The core gameplay is great, however it feels a bit repetitive because it requires a lot of time to fill the love meter, especially when you need to avoid more and more abilities. Sound and visuals are cohesive and create strong vibes of Nintendo game, great job guys.
Visuals, music and idea in general are great. KUDOS for names and descriptions. It's pity that I can't draw using mouse, but clicks. The minigames are fine, except the one in which I must hold several different buttons on all keyboard, it feels a bit uncomfortable as other two games use only WASDQE and arrow buttons.
I adore core mechanics, at the beginning it was a bit confusing, but later it clicked. Visuals are a bit hard for my eyes. Audio is great, but please make it a bit more quite and add some feedback for buttons. Overall, great job, really enjoyed playing it.
Interesting idea and art style. But UX has some issues, like it's not obvious that you can control the position of the ship by holding a button and Spawn UFO button is quite far away from the ship, thus is hard to notice. Anyway, congrats with a game!
I like the game idea, it's quite easy to play and sound effects are a bit too.
Cute little game which brought me some Papers Please vibes through the core mechanic. I love art, music and humor. Well done.
A really strong puzzle with excellent progression and use of mechanics. It feels like full game, rather than a game jam experiment. Well done!
A fine little game with interesting idea and gameplay loop. The level feels a bit too huge and the lack of foe indication makes it a bit boring.
Quite a solid submission, it's really fun to play and has a good mechanics. It has decent balance. However, the lack of sounds and clear feedback on some important actions and events makes it hard to play and control the situation. Anyway, great job and congratulation with the submission.
Small and fun puzzle game with decent art, great compo submission.
Cute little game with great music and nice graphics. Well done!
The concept of the game is quite good. However the UX is off, it would be great to have an exit button, and reset the alcohol timer when I do start a different ritual. The trajectory of the coins is a bit boring, and it's hard to focus on them to catch. Anyway, congratulation with the first submission here, great job!
The idea of the game is great, and it plays quite good. If only was the theme It Spreads, but it's not.
It's a good tiny game. The story is fun, and visuals are very cute. My main criticism is that the game has more dialogues than gameplay itself, it would be great to have much more mini games. In addition, the last cat sequence lacks some actual feedback what is clickable and not.
Nice tiny game with neat idea. In terms of balance the difficulty changes a bit too slow. In addition gameplay feels a bit too repetitive and lacks some additional hazard and goals, like spoiled carrots which stuns the player. Visually the game feels like good old games.
Quite a hardcore tiny game. I really enjoyed playing it, however, it would be great to have some indication when enemies will start attacking the player.
It's a nice tiny submission. I like the idea, and how it looks. However, 2 conveyor belts at the same time feels a bit overwhelming for me.
Nice tiny game. It would be great, if it had several shifts instead of one.
Nice tiny game, with good art. Gameplay wise it's fine, however it doesn't have any challenge. Opening clues feels pointless, as there's no obvious risk. I think, it would be better, if some of the clues took away time for opening them. Alternatively, some information about suspects can be hidden and to open it the player pay with time.
This is quite a strong submission. I do like the art style, gameplay and the overall quality of the game. What I would recommend to change: 1. Make the default character speed a bit higher 2. Move the energy indicator from the corner to the character to make it easier to see 3. Slightly increase character acceleration after stopping during attack while moving
Great job!
