There was a bug with the can of gaz, i couldnt get the gaz at the station.
At first it reminded me of life is strange, so I thought it would be like a small story based game, which is good, nice mood. But I have to say I failed to understand the idea behind the gameplay. Is it just to showcase a quest system ?

Wow this game looks great! I know the assets arn't of your own creation, but its clear that some polish was put into designing the overall experience. Nice Work!
One helluva bug with the camera code, jittering all over the place. Otherwise had fun :D What's with the guitar player on the roof of the house? :D
Woah definitely didn't expect voice acting, that sfx and such a big world in a game jam game. The music was really good too. But for some reason I could not fill the gas can at the pump (I played the MacOS version). I did all the other quests. I personally like quality over quantity and if the character movement was a bit more polished and not stuttery this game would have been excellent. I feel you could have had a smaller world and put more time in polishing the player movement. Anyway, great effort and really impressive for a game jam game.
Edit: Just replayed the game and discovered the underbelly of this game. Let's just say now I know why so many car models were used in this game.
@daimadoushi There is a bug with the gas can where, for some reason, every -other- time you start the game, it lets you finish the mission. We will root out that bug and squash it in an upcoming build, but for now-- if you just hit 'menu -> restart' when you get to that point (gas being the final mission), it will step forward appropriately for the LOOP. ;)
@seth-tal Thanks for your comments! I hope you were able to... figure out how to carve your OWN story into our little town.

It is a very polished game, the music and the atmosphere are relaxing, I like how the theme is integrated into the game, I would add some more actions in addition to talking with the characters, to help them in other ways.
First run I found a bug and ended killing everone with my hammer and shovel it to the ground, second run nail it, camera get closer and star to tremble for some reason.
@blumber I reckon you might find that there are... significantly more actions... than you might think on your first playthrough. I recommend trying to use your tools in... various ways.
@geroblacksmith Would you please write up a bug report for these faulty features? Thanks in advance.

Awesome collection of assets for the short amount of time! The song in the background too is drastically enhancing the mood. Furthermore, I was in awe of the gigantic open map :O
Maybe make the distances for the first quests a bit shorter? Maybe even make the first questgiver be in the very first frame of the game so the player gets introdueced to the principles as quickly as possible? I get the idea of exploration, it just doesn't work that well when all you can find is people who want you to do things for them, I think.
All in all - great potential for a great RPG! Will definitely revisit the game later on.
@trexxak It sounds like you had a wonderful and positive series of interactions with the townspeople of Chipperton. I reckon they would invite YOU back any time. They have had a series of poor run-ins with some folk recently, so it's real nice to hear from you that YOUR experience was full of positivity.
Thank you for spending some time in Chipperton, and we certainly look forward to the next time you drive in.
Well-made polished game! I definitely got stuck at the gas can too lol. Otherwise, the entire game has great mood. I love the introduction and the voice acting. It's relaxing and enjoyable to do all the little tasks and read the dialogues.
I kind of wish the game has a more guided map, I got lost very quickly(it is a personal trait too, so it might not be your fault). If the game can lead you from point A objective to point B objective and slowly opens the map, that would be great.
Side note, the 3d modeling was on point.
@quack-doctor You should give it another go and try your tools in unique ways! :)
Will do (downloading it was the hard part :P)!

@cole-davidson glad you had fun! The guitar player is playing the song you hear in the game :)

@anant-ahuja glad you liked the intro! We spent quite a deal of time creating the map and quests, but I completely understand the size issue (we talked about what felt appropriate for a great deal of the brainstorming).
Glad you liked the "underbelly" too! I won't say much more on that for the sake of new players ;)

Very interesting game. Looks super clean and even almost finished
This was very relaxing to play, especially thanks to the long intro and the music playing. The yellow particles were very much enhanced the mood. I am not sure how this relates to Stuck in a Loop but as it's own game this was a fun relaxing experience.
@stephenwhoskins Im glad you had fun- thanks for playing!
@aless Thanks for playing? I'd like to know- did you get to explore the world quite thoroughly?
@sophiemae0 Our little town of Chipperton is super relaxing, peaceful, and just an absolutely wonderful place to spend a lazy summer!
Thanks for your comments about the music and intro- those were certainly some of our favorite parts.
The atmosphere was intended to bring you a feeling of peace and serenity, so I hope the particle design supported that goal!
I would like to ask you- did you use the tools in all there various configurations? I assure you- the loop is present, though there's a good chance that maybe you didn't discover it. ;)

Wow that was amazing. The music, the voice acting, the graphics, the mood, the gameplay, it's all super polished and well done. Great job with this one! It's always nice to come across a relaxing LD submission every once in a while :)
Hey there @ale I am super glad you enjoyed our game!
I'd like to ask if you'd be willing to give it another play through. I reckon you didn't get to explore the entire loop... and may have missed some of the most fun mechanics! :)

Nice job! But... Why can't I shoot the guitar played with the tranquilizer gun? The scene seems to be set up that way... Oh and I didn't really find a loop... Lots of 'interesting' interactions though. Nudge me in the right direction?

@ghuyajil Glad you played!
Most prompts in the game give you an [e] to [use] prompt. The guitar player specifically hides the [use] text for a bit of discovery.
There are many ways to complete the loop (with different endings)! Hope you enjoyed your stay in Chipperton and hope you come back to see more! :)
One asking. In the end when everyone others are dead the hero need to marry pastor and leave this town together.
OK, this game is HUUUGE. While playing I had vibes of a good indie game. Well done guys.
@week-of-the-agents Thank you very, very much for playing our game! :)
@tricky-fat-cat Thank you so so so much for giving our game a go! We sincerely appreciate you jumping in and exploring our little town. I hope that you found multiple satisfying solutions to your story. :)

Well. I've wanted to be peaceful person, but first accidental kill defines my next entire life. I love your concept and believes that it will be nice project with horror vibes for Steam. Great work!
Your game was played on my stream ( https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos ) on 10/12. Thank you for sharing your game with us! You can find the timestamp of when your game was played here: https://tinyurl.com/yy4oycvv
Only got 2 of the 4 endings, but holy crap was this wonderful in all of the horrendous and terrifying ways! :D Absolutely loved finding all of the little easter-eggs and hidden interactions. Fantastic amount of quantity and quality aspects for a jam game! Great job... voice acting could have been better though, have you guys not heard Mass Effect's voice acting? /s
[Thank you so much for submitting this game to the stream and being such a wonderful presence in chat.](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/772739699?t=00h20m59s)
(I still blame @elysiagriffin for igniting my bloodlust...)
It's super bold of you to put so much hidden content in this game that many people might not even realize is there. If I could offer one piece of advice, maybe preventing the player from sheathing their tool when they run might result in more people discovering the hidden depths of this game. Although, if you want to keep that stuff "hidden," then you probably already made the right call.
Good luck on the Switch port!!
Super impressive. I realize you didn't make the models but even still, I'm amazed at how much game two people were able to churn out in 72 hours. It even has little details like the fireflies flying around which helps the mood. I was already blown away when I experienced the "base" game but then when you start finding some of the hidden interactions and such, it's really a mindblow! I really appreciate the bighead mode, too. Fantastic job!!
Kind of relaxing game to chill and play
