Cool physics and nice music. The tutorial text is really really small though. Also noticed you used Godot to make this, nice!
It's become really trippy and I'm still coming across new quotes and dialogues! How much content is there? Good effort and funny.
Solid game. Took me a few minutes to understand the mechanics but really liked the puzzles. The music was cool too.
Game can definitely do with some polish. Some music and sfx would have really helped with that but seeing its a Compo game I can see the challenge in that. I liked the theme though, reminds me on enviro-bear 3000 back in the day.
Solid gameplay mechanic but took me a few tries to realise that I can't control the string with mouse after I have shot it. Great execution and the boss was pretty cool.
I really wanted to play and rate your game but the Mac build was super laggy. Like so laggy that I couldn't even click on the play button to start it. The menu was lagging.
Really polished game and fun too. I easily spent half an hour playing it. Loved the cutesy graphics. The music was ace too. Pretty good on all fronts. And definitely didn't expect that collision between the train and the cars.
Really simple and solid game. It was pretty good in all areas and fun to play.
Woah definitely didn't expect voice acting, that sfx and such a big world in a game jam game. The music was really good too. But for some reason I could not fill the gas can at the pump (I played the MacOS version). I did all the other quests. I personally like quality over quantity and if the character movement was a bit more polished and not stuttery this game would have been excellent. I feel you could have had a smaller world and put more time in polishing the player movement. Anyway, great effort and really impressive for a game jam game.
Edit: Just replayed the game and discovered the underbelly of this game. Let's just say now I know why so many car models were used in this game.
How were you generating the backgrounds? I really liked them. I could only get a high score of 5. Fun game but at times the player sprite was really hard to see and I often lost it.
I see people are commenting about the music but there wasn't any music/sfx for me. I keep dying to the worms. I am not able to shoot them or jump over them. But the movement was ace though. Good effort.
The E key wasn't working for me. I had to use the left mouse button which as a trackpad user was not that comfortable. Picking up things was really fiddly too, it kept picking up the drawers and not picking up the thing on top of it and made me miss the elevator which ends the game. But yeah the music was cool and a 3d game in a game jam is always ambitious.
Pretty hard game. Took me quite some time to interact with the reception(it's the E key) and to operate the stairs. But loved the concept and fits the theme really well.
Solid gameplay mechanic once I understood the player's state machine logic. I played for a good 15-20 minutes till 9 logic slots. But I kept getting a gray rectangle in the middle sometimes obscuring my vision. I think it might have been the edge of the map. Does it have an ending?
Cool game and concept. It is fun and I wanted to play it till the end but the sensitivity was really fiddly and that made the game really annoying(That could be on my end though because I'm playing it on my Mac trackpad).
Spoilers below: I couldn't progress after getting out of the initial room. I got the spanner and the ID card and I was typing 9571 in the second keypad but it was not being accepted.
I loved the music, mechanic and mood of the game. However there was a bug on 2nd level. I reached the destination planet and started orbiting around it but it never took me to the next level. It just kept orbiting around the destination planet.
Pretty funny game. I didn't get the Crypto attack though. Was Merge Sort the best attack? Was it just luck in the end because I couldn't kill the last boss with any other attack?
The visuals, music and sfx was great. I couldn't get used to the controls however. I'm assuming it was designed to be played with a controller in mind. But it was still fun doing a 1080 as a dolphin. Really great game.
The graphics, radio and music were amazing. The gameplay was really good as well but I felt the car was not oversteery enough. I like my drifting games to be driving right on the edge almost getting a tankslapper on each drift. Great effort and a fun game. One of the most polished games I have seen in this jam.
Took me a few restarts to get the game but absolutely loved it. I played it till the end and found it fun. Amazing visuals but the guitar riffs sealed the deal for me. Honestly big part of why I played the game till the end was because of the music.
Wow a surprising amount of mechanics and content in this game. I found it really fun and didn't expect the swinging mechanic. I also noticed that you used Godot to make it. Didn't really see how it was relevant to the theme but awesome game regardless. Had quite a lot of depth to it.
Loved the neon art style, the lighting coming from the tunnels when the vehicles are approaching and the music. I'm curious how you made it and what tools you used. But found the game really hard. I was always short on time.
Reminds me of the indie games of the experimental gameplay project era. Super relatable game, this game had it all: the plight of the dungbeetle, the screaming sounds of the lost souls, the long road to financial independence. Perfect game in every way.
Game ran for me on MacOS. Pretty funky music but a really short game.
Fun but really hard game. Zombies have too much HP IMHO. Loved the little low poly 3d world and the music. Also, never take the maze, that always ends badly for you.
Good: The floaty controls, the music.
I couldn't figure out what the circle around the player is for, but that could be because I just suck. Do we get a power up when all colours light up in that circle?
@h-moon Ahh will replay it knowing that.
Lol it took me one hot minute to realize the levels are looping. But even when I managed to go back to left side in the falling crate room, it just took me back to the previous room and then to the room before that(the spiral one). I suck too much to get the ending lol.
Holy hell the funniest game in this jam so far. It was hilarious and brilliant.
Game is not running on my Firefox. First the screen is all cropped and when I choose Enter Loop, it gets stuck. Web build definitely needs to be tested again. Would have loved to play and rate this game.
Omg this game is a visual treat. But the gameplay still didn't click for me. It's not as fun as going max speed and seeing all the passengers just fly away.
