LD45 — Start with nothing

Nothing Left by Solah 2019-10-13T17:09:19Z

Dashing through pits turns out to be a challenge for me :) I really liked combat in this game. Waving your sword felt nice and smooth. Would be cool to have more control after narrative text during cutscenes. I mean - switch it with key or smth. So you can skip it or on the contrary - read more closely. The whole game feels warm and cute. Good job!

WELCOME TO NOTHING by theomaniacal 2019-10-08T04:54:10Z

Nice and fun) Never made it through step 5 "achieve something". Guess I'm just not into achievements:)

Girl in a Dungeon by Phoenix Fireflower 2019-10-13T16:33:04Z

Cool retro-style game. Well-polished. Good level design. I liked columns mechanic. I enjoyed it, thanks! :)

MerchantQuest by ItsBamboo 2019-10-07T18:48:47Z

Great variety of objects. Nice and simple music. Items prices feels random, but selling them still feels addictive. Spent some time to figure out that E is for interaction. Statistics seems broken, got all 0's. After all - cool game, made it till personal counter:)

It never started with nothing by Lukvasando 2019-10-07T19:44:19Z

Awesome game. I so enjoyed it. Gameplay, artstyle and music feels really solid together. Amazing job!

Everything Is As It Should Be by CLVP 2019-10-08T15:34:16Z

"Жизнь - это вам не радость в сердце, и не алый закат вечерами. Жизнь - это ёбана вонь из берцев, и то что скопилось у меня под ногтями"(с) атмосферой навеяло кровосток. Второй пазл сложный. Миниигра с наливанием водки - топ :)

The Mystery Box by W0lfEnstein 2019-10-08T16:17:26Z

Tried it yesterday and failed.. but today i finally solved it!:) It was really hard, but made me absolutely happy!) The fun part is - I solved it by coincidence. Just accidentally typed this very last code. But then I reverse engineered it, and, yeah, I should have guessed) Cool box design, riddles feels like belonging to it. A bit too complicated to me. Wheels sensitivity on the inner box may be a little misleading.

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

The Daytona 666 by piscythe 2020-10-09T04:33:00Z

Cool game. Music puts you in this "demon-slaying" mood, and all this bullets.. playing was fun :) but didn't make through this giant eye thing, it's too powerfull for me)

File 47: An Incident in the Exclusion Zone by juxipolo 2020-10-11T05:35:49Z

Gameplay is similar to text quests, but because of nicely done UI decisions - I feel a lot more comfortable interacting with the game. Item cards and navigation are quite intuitive. And the amount of work you put in here is really impressive. It's a lot of content! We stopped evil bear-mutant from messing with our timeline after all :)

Turn Left by Tattomoosa 2020-10-07T04:51:15Z

Stuck in a loop indeed. Quite conceptual stuff - exploding on your own mines you put on a racing track. I've finished 50 laps (with a little cheating). It was fun :)

Pulsewave by bitdecay 2020-10-08T04:08:30Z

Cool game! I liked the music! And awesome effect of music distortion (when u fail to hit the rhythm). We were thinking about similar effect in our game, but we ran out of time %)

Wage Slave by Riker Greenslade 2020-10-08T04:40:05Z

Awesome soundeffects! I liked the art style too. It's not always easy to be a barista, so I never figure out how to create the non-fat steamed milk (: And tips are looow. It was fun playing! )

Lyza's Knot by William Derksen 2020-10-10T05:22:51Z

Awesome ambient and sound effects, solid art style, simple and engaging game mechanics! Death animation is magnificent! Guys, you've created a brilliant piece of work here :)

Caterpiloop by Marcus Otterstrom 2020-10-15T15:51:38Z

Cool game mechanic, caterpillars move smoothly, art and sound effects are synergetic! Made it to 6 bugs at max :) Great job making this game!

Jazz It Up by Elyaradine 2020-10-12T17:49:01Z

That's brilliant! Artwork and animation are so warm and cozy, and the jazz flows.. That was wonderful experience, thank you, guys!

In road way by Rs11s21n 2020-10-10T08:17:00Z

Feels meditative, like you are just going surrounded by ambient, counting stones. I liked it. Failed to figure out which stones should I interact with to finish, but the walk itself was nice :)

Purgatory Hospital by riwmd 2020-10-15T15:20:34Z

Feels like being immortal sapper) But this guy in the truck on the highway.. it's just unfair!! :) Great job making such an atmospheric game!

Fault Outcome by VPhyre 2020-10-10T09:19:29Z

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this creepy vhs-ghost story with cool rewind effect! Very solid work!

Lily The Bee by Vivien Fargette 2020-10-10T10:22:34Z

Wow! "What a cute little game", I thought, and then smth is wrong, and my nectar is not helping me anymore, and then it was the end of it.. You hardly find similar game experience somewhere outside jam games. Awesome work, thank you!

Super Giovanni Adventure by No-Nate November 2020-10-10T04:14:55Z

Cool game! We had good time passing it through and defeating "big queen reptile" guy )

Jack's Inferno by mharring 2020-10-11T12:30:24Z

I enjoyed the ascention of the st. Scarecrow :) Feels quite conceptual, fun to play and perfectly polished! Awesome work, guys!

VINYLED by Kamuniaft 2020-10-08T05:20:11Z

@instrex @firetwoonenine thank you for your feedback! Well, there is a controversial gameplay decision with vinyl switch here (you can move from one music loop fragment to another, when additional vinyl track appears at the top of the screen). This transition period is quite hard to notice( I believe you missed it. Sorry for this interface mistake.

VINYLED by Kamuniaft 2020-10-08T05:23:16Z

@anant-ahuja thank you! You have 3 lives, red things hurts you and green things heals you :) You don't need to collect all the things, you just need to stay alive. You can also switch from one vinyl to another to progress (another vinyl appears at the top of the screen at the end of music loop cycle)

VINYLED by Kamuniaft 2020-10-08T05:32:35Z

@piscythe thank you for your feedback! Yeah, turns out this part is really failed ;( We thought "maybe it would work and players will just notice the additional track", and then it didn't )) We are going to fix this as soon as we have some free time.

LoopGame by GandalfTheGod 2020-10-12T04:33:08Z

Nice game! I like the "room setup" mechanic, allowing to balance reward/complexity. Sounds are cool and controls are quite smooth. Would be good to have some ability to heal damage (monsters dropping health or smth).

Games are So Much Fun by Rainbows are Fun 2020-10-10T09:56:53Z

Wow! Exiting the game was intense! Great concept + soundeffects are very atmospheric. Well done!

Escape from Space by marrs 2020-10-10T08:41:15Z

Made it to lvl 8 and enjoyed the game! Gameplay is engaging and I like this abstract obstacles art style. Feels like it would be cool to have some immunity time after touching an obstacle, sometimes you just die too quickly after being stuck in one.

Extended Loop Green by Voidsay 2020-10-14T03:49:51Z

I liked the lights. Very atmospheric! Moving feels like sliding on ice. Fell out of the train and been hit by it several minutes later :) Awesome work!

Maze Service by Oshawatt123 2020-10-12T17:23:07Z

Awesome work! I liked the concept very much. It was quite hard to get the feel of the game at first, due to the lack of feedback (like, I placed some word, and I'm not sure if the word is incorrect, or there is some bug, or you accidentally break some parsing rule). But then, after initial confusement, playing became fun and easy. Even been rickrolled along the way -_-

Nailed it by Krg 2020-10-08T05:13:29Z

Great job! I liked game concept a lot. Especially when the wall start bleeding 😅. Cool nail mechanic. Jumping was painfull (trying to jump from a nail to the upper platform feels undeservedly hard). Stuck on the loop with the bleeding wall(

TowerStuck by Edeneden 2020-10-11T12:59:30Z

Loved the tower loops mechanic! Feels like it has strong potential. Would be nice to be able to reset tower loops. Awesome work!

I've Been Busy Being Dead by instrex 2020-10-09T04:11:23Z

Awesome work! Solid artstyle, smooth controls and engaging gameplay. Made it to 6 and it was really fun (with a bit of sadness, i'm playing ghost after all (: ). At some point, when gameplay speeds up enough, feels unfair that animation of "human interacting with object" breaks your input, making it almost imposible to charge an object.

Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Never-ending! by Egan Henderson 2020-10-14T04:06:05Z

Almost danced mr. Stickman to corns %) Music is nice! Feels like the game became too hardcor too early (you are staying with ~ 1\5 of the screen after track played once). Good job making the game!

Crows of Wraeth by Roikku 2020-10-10T06:12:18Z

I felt so nostalgic playing this game, like it touches some subconsciousness stuff near "old-school dungeon-crawlers" zone %) Awesome work! Would be cool to have some indication if an enemy been damaged by attack or resisted it.

LD49 — Unstable

Family Little Horror Show by ashtheevil 2021-10-08T13:36:16Z

Great job with this gloomy quest! Feels really solid. It is cool that player has some decisions variety.

Tesla Coil by marbles 2021-10-08T09:54:44Z

8 kills record - maximum I can brag with :) Liked the mix of an armored knight and a tesla coil. Player damage really could be incerased. Good job creating the game!

P.T. Bone-um's Fabulous Tightrope of Terror by Kyrio 2021-10-08T10:47:53Z

Absolutely awesome job! I loved soundtrack and visuals very much. And it's a fun theme interpretation! I wish the level itself was less difficult :)

Dizzard Wizzard by ryjcio 2021-10-07T16:32:17Z

Awesome work! I really had fun playing. Polymorph spell and the room with chickens are top :)

Crumbling Mind by NoeTheLazyDev 2021-10-08T11:15:35Z

Great job! Character animations and controls feels smooth. Ilness visual effects are awesome! Orange juice seems to do nothing, or it's hard to figure out when it takes effect. Very well done, I really enjoyed playing!

Mosquito got my Brain by ardorugus 2021-10-06T12:41:44Z

Really got hinged on killing mosquitos. Cool sound design! Feels like reading Lovecraft, unstable indeed :)

Fourth Energy by Johnsensei 2021-10-09T09:45:34Z

Great job! This sci-fi novel features surprisingly big amount of content, like a whole solid chapter! Story is catching and sound effects are awesome. I opened 3 endings (except those where u end up dead) and it was really fun :)

Scoop the Pool by DecadeDecaf 2021-10-10T06:51:51Z

That's super impressive compo game, great job! AI actions feels rather unpredictable to me, I almost never could guess when the whole thing is going to topple :) But playing was fun anyway!

Pale Moon Shone by ditam 2021-10-08T19:41:17Z

Wow, that's atmospheric work. Narrative is absolutely awesome. Hitting the bottles seems too unstable though. At 3rd shooting scene i tried like 15 times to hit those bottles, and sometimes it definetly feels like i did (i think there is a special message screen for a case when u succesfully hitted the bottle?). But i always ended up skipping through the same dialogue scene. I gave up on that. But nevertheless - great job creating this game, it was a pleasure to play :)

Time Rift by Unrivaled Super Hottie 2021-10-08T16:12:43Z

My grandfather warned me - "never toy with the time machine, kid", and thats what happened - one wrong time swap - and i'm falling into the endless nothing forever :) Character controls could use some improvements. But anyway - I liked the "Time Rift" game - cool concept and graphics, great jam work!

Tripple Trouble by Kamuniaft 2021-10-13T06:34:41Z

@inokentii-best thank u for your feedback! Actually, there are checkpoints in the game. Seems the first one is too far away along the road. Also there are three wizards. Reaching each of them remove one of the curses from main character. And reaching all 3 will take u to the end screen. We were trying to create kind of metroidvanina-style level structure. Now I think that shorter and more straightforward level would have worked better, but that was a valuable experience :)

Wonky Brew by civmaniac 2021-10-08T05:15:17Z

Loved characters design! Cute little witches, with a touch of mystery in the eyes :) Game feels solid and polished. Core gameplay became tedious rather fast and i found myself yearning for some kind of progress indication (long term goals or some record stats) or narration pauses. Great job making the game!

Snowbody's Mountain by WeAreDev 2021-10-07T17:00:47Z

Really solid work! Character concept, arts and game mechanic combines and supports each other. Everything seems weel-polished. Gameplay feels quite hardcore, but i was really happy to make it past 1st level :)

Mental Madness by Escortti 2021-10-06T13:47:54Z

I liked minimalistic art style and those messages the game puts into event log (they really adds up to the atmosphere). Another crazy thing is - I completed the game to the end (lvl 4) and never figured out, wat exactly the rules were:)

Destructo by JPGFG 2021-10-08T18:50:22Z

I'm a fan of tactic games and this one was really a pleasure to play :0 awesome work for a 3 days jam! I think this could be indeed a start for some fully featured roguelike tb crawler

UKI by Shea Kelly 2021-10-07T04:24:07Z

I liked character design, simple but expressive. Was able to defeat Nail Boy :) Quite a lot of bugs but you'll earn a lot of exp for fixing them! By the way, unreal does not seems like a good choice for 2d game, you may want to try some other engine.

A Gift in Good Faith by python-b5 2021-10-08T08:30:01Z

Great job! I liked soundtrack and visuals. Narrative about kings sending u back and forth between castles nicely blends with the gameplay structure. Minotaur itself feels too quick and unbalanced to me.

UnderControl by Jason Pitchford 2021-10-07T15:48:46Z

I've got 26! :0 Really liked this mechanic with no control of character attack timings. Good job!

Un-Stable by Mynespyro 2021-10-06T16:48:12Z

All the sheep were saved ;) I liked your theme interpretation. Controls are fun in general, but those sheep getting stuck in the corners are quite annoying - I always had to restart the level when that was happening. Good job overall! :)

Carrying A Microwave Down 3rd Ave by Yoss III 2021-10-08T07:00:14Z

Well, that's a concentrated experience, thank you. Carrying that microwave wasnt easy. But the greater the relief from having working oven at home! Good job, very original game :)

Paper Route by OllieOA 2021-10-06T17:13:35Z

Awesome work! I've got emotionally connected to mr McLudum, and then.. Liked the game physics, it was quite fun to play. Had to use 1,2,3 keys to switch levels, cause game got stuck between scenes (I played windows build)

Unstable platformer thing by FloppaDev 2021-10-08T10:24:50Z

Greetings to fellow platformer developer! :) Nice platformer game! I liked character controls and peanuts mechanic. Surfaces are hard to read - some red stuff you can satnd on, and the next red stuff kills you. Cool soundtrack. Great job overall!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

A Card Game by Nicso 2022-04-13T04:54:12Z

Awesome graphics and background music! Feels atmospheric. There is a deep exploration element in the game, so it's played more like a puzzle. That's a twist :) I've forgot to read the hint card at some point, sacrifised it, and wasted a lot of time figuring out what to do next. But managed to get through finally) Loved that "quit game" mechanic, integrated into the gameplay. Another cool thing here I really liked - you have actually another usage for "quit" card. Overall - that's an awesome jam entry, great job!

Wrath of a Dying God by piscythe 2022-04-16T17:09:30Z

Liked that you are constantly upgrading - that allows you to make a build and develop favorite strategy. Made it to wave 25 and was extinguished be big black creeps (kinda moving black holes i guess :)), but i think i"ll try again later - this tower defence stuff is really addictive :) Cool game!

Stalling The Dictator by 0x01F0 2022-04-08T21:25:42Z

Awesome wordplay in the title :) And cool jam game, i really had fun playing it! Great dictator's face animations. They create tension, cause you can't be sure if he liked the answer until the final moment (at least till you know your dictator well). P.S. Liking turtles turnes out to be a mistake -_-

Curse of the Blood Crystal by mde 2022-04-07T18:23:05Z

Having a score voard is always a great feature :0

Highscore.png

Gameplay is very dynamic and driving, it was fun! Liked this telekinetic sword :) At some point of the game health became running out quickly. I guess it's the matter of balance, but it was not obvious at the point of playing.

Wildfire by Gildar76 2022-04-08T05:08:25Z

It takes me about 5 minutes to understand, that i need to extinguish the cabbage itself and not the flame. So in my experince the flames turns out to be a bit misleading in terms of extinguishing collision detection. Also missed "move back" control key. With that fire-hydrant-bug rotation speed, controling it is not an easy task already. Liked main character concept and sfx :) Nice job finishing the game!

Reapers & Retirees by Carraka 2022-04-17T05:31:42Z

The artstyle in this game is just amazing, I totally love it. Characters looks super tempered and stylish. I liked the concept of those retired heroes and the narrative is quite hilarious. Talking about the narrative - it was a bit too much for me - and the reason is that it was quite hard to switch from tons of microcontrol to reading. I made it to wave 7 (from 3rd try) and I wish the game is slowed down - it took like 2-3 seconds for a creep to reach maps center, and I as a player at the same time had to switch between different characters, deploying orders, which failed to be done, cause my heroes being stuck collided into some other tower. Overall - gameplay could use some simplification and UX improvements imho, but the music and artstyle are awesome! Great job finishing the game folks!

Delay No More! by EggshellDog 2022-04-13T19:14:55Z

Amazing. It's even hard to believe it's a compo-format game :) There is really a lot of content and ways in this sandbox. Opened 4\7 endings and had a lot of fun! P.S. Descriptions gifs helps me to find some new ways too :)

Pachinko is Life by Don Fouts 2022-04-17T06:33:02Z

I played html5 version but was not able to complete the game due to some bugs %( Pachinko machine just stopped reacting at some point (I guess that happened when I launch the second ball while the first one is still bouncing, but i'm not sure). Still I was able to lose one of my crew members and really enjoyed the narrative. Dayly events are brilliantly written :) And that relaxing music along with blood-soiled pachinko machine is really hitting the spot ;) Awesome entry folks!

To be Ageless by Ty Victorson 2022-04-09T06:14:49Z

I just played a god damn dark souls with a boss fight! :) That's impressive jam entry! Great job, folks.

Falling Stars by Lomna 2022-04-13T03:52:02Z

To the record: my best score is 2020 :) That's a well done simple concept! And a fun one to play:) Looks like it can be even more simple, because I'm not sure why there are 2 different types of resources - I think the concept should work just fine with 1. Liked the soundeffects. Overall - great job!

Tragedy on Tattle Row by Cievers 2022-04-09T22:15:41Z

I absolutely loved the artstyle and sound design about this game. Typewriter sfx brings associations with a broken clock, resonating with the game setting nicely. I wish gameplay was a bit deeper. Right now I can delay the clock hand just by running in place, standing in the screen center and it seems like an optimal strategy. A boring one for sure :) In my opinion, the game can win from scaling the level a bit (maybe that'll require to add a couple of additional platfroms), increasing the distance between the clock hand and the ground. That will ban this "boring strategy", forcing player to move intensively, catching anvils and stuff. Anyway, that's a solid game and a great jam entry, thank you for your work! :)

1000 Ducks by Maxwell3000 2022-04-16T16:13:40Z

I worked hard growing the mighty ducks army. And then the Duck God came and I was not ready. My ducks fought brave and i clicked and clicked on the screen trying to figure out what to do and then it was over. And I skipped the endgame screen cause I clicked too passionately %( I hope the Duck God was defeated, cause he demanded sacrifices abd stuff. But i'm not sure about that - after all he's a God.. :) Nice jam entry, folks! trying too control all those naughty ducks was fun :)

Till It's Over by Kamuniaft 2022-04-08T09:47:47Z

@jogy34 Hey! Thank you for your feedback :) You are right, losing family members making things easier, and it's kind of unbalanced. I like the idea of moving into another bunker. We've got plenty of other features in mind too, to make gameplay less repetitive - like having 3 different characters (1 for each family member) with different abilities. But that's what we were able to manage, keeping things stable and releasing gameplay build on time :)

InevitaBallistics by JHax 2022-04-16T15:53:00Z

I love mazes and rockets, so it was super fun! My record is 3:50, decoy really did its thing :) I was impressed by the amount of available maps. And even could choose a character! Amazing, solid, retro-style jam work folks! :)

Resistance is Futile by Warmful 2022-04-15T04:53:08Z

First time I died in the first round, being pushed to the corner by an angry alien :) On my second try - made it to round 18. Then just quit, cause it can lasts forever i guess :) Gameplay is fun, collecting "neutrino" and stuff feels good. Also there is an impressive range of weapons. (But SM-20 proptotype seems to do no damage at all for some reason). Upgrades seems to do nothing - I bought dozens of them and didn't notice any difference. Aliens doesn't seem to change from round to round too. So I wish it is some feel of progress in the game. Overall - nice work, it was fun to play :)

Don't Melt by jogy34 2022-04-09T06:56:02Z

That's a cool entry ;) I liked those stylish upgrades! Game economy balance forces you to explore every corner of the map if you want to get the ticket, i even had to climb up that building -_- That was fun :) Damned car ran me over every second time, i wish i had some option to break it and survive %)

Ejected! by Spaint 2022-04-09T08:17:00Z

No help to the poor astronaut from space police :( 2km - as far as i can get - not a long distance for space-scale. But that was really fun! :) It's cool that every item has it's own use and at the same time can be thrown away to increase speed. On the other side of that - the amount of game mechanics even feels overwhelming to me. I wish some of them were merged together or simplified somehow. Overall that's an awesoe work you've done here folks, great job!

I Would Like to Thank the Academy by sprunth 2022-04-13T04:17:08Z

Interesting concept. Missed some introduction scene. There is no way to find out how your replic will influence MC patience (at least I failed to find any correlations there), so, in terms of gameplay, the game turns out to be just selecting 1 replic out of 3 in random, which is not very exciting. Good thing is - you get your whole speech at the end, that's give you an ability to discover some new facets in it. End game track is nicely selected :) Good job making the game!

Gods of Discord by Ghatazorg 2022-04-16T18:56:11Z

The texts and arts are brilliant, I was smiling constantly while playing :) Card interaction sfx is juicy and feels rewarding. Controls looks simple, but I was picking the wrong answer from time to time anyway. + Wish the answers texts font is a bit bigger. Overall - that was the most funny experience to me during this LD, thank you folks :)

Bomb Digging by tete 2022-04-13T19:36:29Z

Loved this retro-style :) My record is floor 40 and around 9600 score point. Wish I had several lives, so my mistakes were less deadly :0 Overall - that's a cool twist on bomberman, really fun to play!

Shaft by Minaus 2022-04-16T18:06:24Z

So, i was able to get that big blue crystal finally. But failed to bring it back ;( My lamp ran out and at that point i started to spawn without a lamp just to die in several seconds. (I guess you just ran out of time, but I really missed some lamp charge indicator, since it's vital and I collect crystals to recharge it). It's also took a while for me to understood how exactly the main mechanic is working - those moments of darkness are quite confusing. But i guess that's on purpose, and I liked to be confused like that :) Overall - lightning and sounds are awesome + interesting main mechanic - that's an awesome job you've done here!

Destination Station by JM-Janzen 2022-04-07T04:52:40Z

It was fun! :) I liked this bossy guy telling me what to do. And then he like "You are fired!". That hurts :) Also the soundtrack is pretty driving, that's cool. I noticed that client became unhappy just while moving from one portal to another, not only while waiting. That seems unfair) Also noticed a bug - when restarting a game without reloading it completely, money income breaks (FYI).

Doof Doof: Destroyer of Worlds by BurningApparatus 2022-04-13T18:38:09Z

This is just awesome :) I especially liked the part where you can enter each planet and blow it into pieces. The artstyle is simple but solid, with fine color pallete. Soundtrack complements gameplay dynamic nicely. I wish missile shop option just adds time instead of freezing it (that's minor stuff, just imho). The best game I was able to play during LD50 so far. Definetily underrated.

LD55 — Summoning

Infernal Conquest by bloodyaugust 2024-04-16T06:47:54Z

Good job! Liked the Sauron tower refernce in demonic base art. And the idea of my demons army capturing the cities feels good for some reason :) I wish the actual lines were drawn along the map, like roads or smth, just to feel more structure. Won from the second try by spawning all the demons I could as quickly as possible.

The Game With Forced Financial Competitions Featuring Wizards and Demons by tater-hater 2024-04-17T06:30:49Z

The intro was hilarious, absolutly loved it! Really the best setup I stumbled upon during this LD. And all those spectators looks awesome. Also liked that you can drive out of the racing track and just drive around the field for a while :)

Beckoned to Battle by firellon 2024-04-17T19:11:14Z

Loved how villages gets smaller and dissapear while you are recruting troops and cover the map with gravestones. I wasn't able to come up with a good strategy, just got the peacefull victory once, by accident :D AI was smart enough to poke me every time he could while I was trying to capture smth. Oh, and illustrations are great, with some "medieval fairytale" vibe. Cool entry, I had fun :)

The Weaver from the remote hamlet by Tyrannas 2024-04-16T19:58:34Z

I feel like I stumbled on a gem here! The writing is brilliant, weaving puzzle is fun to explore, art and sound prefectly fits the mood. Very enjoyable. I wonder if this story has several endings.. But I'm satisfied with the one I got :)

Kalòmancer by BinarySpark 2024-04-16T20:27:53Z

Awesome! I'm a big fan of card games and enjoyed this one too! Nice feature with building your own cards, but I'm too lazy for that -_- good thing there is a predefined deck :) Cards are stylish! Very solid entry and great job.

Little Wizz - How to summon a Fireball by Esther128 2024-04-17T09:37:33Z

An impressive amount of mechancs - barrels, moving ladders, bowls-buttons. I wish colliders are more polished. But besides that - the game is really cute! Liked the intro and that fireball sound made me smile every time :) Good job!

Ghostdusters by Tuna Diver 2024-04-16T07:42:34Z

My Necromansion got overwhelmed by angry ghosts pretty fast. Going to try zombies next time, maybe they will be more reasonable :) Great job folks!

Baphocat by onqdll 2024-04-17T10:24:42Z

Wow, it's like cuphead and vampire survivors having a child :D The overall artstyle is really kicking, looks great! It would be cool to set game on pause though while you are on the upgrade screen. Otherwise you don't really have enough time to go thorugh the details and think about what you are doing.

Canoe Summoner: I Rose To The Top Despite Having a Garbage Skill by Sicosiber 2024-04-16T07:19:23Z

Canoe battle mage - that's hilarious :) Summoning sound feels good. Also that's some enourmous amount of modeling work, great job!

The wizard penguin by leozero 2024-04-16T07:02:35Z

Solid concept with some pleasant retro vibes, cool :)

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

AntToTopia by Max0n4ik 2024-10-08T07:21:45Z

collected some stuff, beat the shit out of some bug. Sadly, wasn't able to find out what actions supposed to do - game crashes on "R" for me. Nice models. Soundtrack is funny :)

Wish Town by Iwant_Pizza 2024-10-11T07:56:30Z

Great job folks! Loved the atmosphere and that take about blind happieness not being a good thing :)

BomBom Wash by Overlix 2024-10-08T22:39:56Z

That was quite meditative expirience! Just wondering around, cleaning stuff, no pressure :) Soundtrack and lighting supports the mood well. Cool props and vfxs, every cleaned object is nicely highlighted. Very impressive job!

Ink Rebels by perka 2024-10-08T23:03:19Z

I was struglling to make it past chapter two at first, but eventually got used to controlls and collisions and made it to chapter 19! So, the gameplay can be pretty addictive :) The game can use some tutorial, but I know how it is, we didn't have enough time to implement one either -_- Cool art, gave me some Bosch vibes. Nice job!

DRONE BRIGADE by Gaalsien 2024-10-08T23:39:24Z

My jaw dropped when I saw the main menu. Just wow! Camera motion, scene, the song - everything is so very well done. And I really enjoyed the game. It is quite complicted and I had to lose several times before I understood, like, what each droid supposed to do, and that reloading meachanic, but it was a pleasant experience. Super impressive work!

LD57 — Depths

Brainwash by limered 2025-04-08T14:35:35Z

Hilarious! Wiped this brain clean! :D Well, half-clean, tbh. Core mechanic is really satisfying and well-made, but the amount of work to be done was too big for me. I wish there is some surprising elements, idk, like when you clean a section some joke or meme pops up and floats away. Brainrot theme is an endless well for that kind of staff :) Anyway, solid entry and good job!

Cartoscoot by Mr_Field 2025-04-11T21:34:04Z

Amazing! That's incredible game, I really happy I stumbled upon it. Plays super smooth and has this refreshing puzzle-metroidvania gameplay. Design feels briliantly thought through!

Planet Diver by milano23 2025-04-11T23:34:29Z

The game is tough, haven't make it through, feels pretty hardcore. However, starting every time and trying was fun. I also think the game's metaphor about literally diving throuhg planet is hilarious xD

Descendant by silkworm_sweatshop 2025-04-11T19:57:21Z

Just wow! That's insane how many content you've managed to create! Laughed a lot when I first left my wife and child just to die on a spikes 3 turns later :D Gates mechanic feels weird - the game in fact turnbased, but gates are open in realtime, blows my mind! Oh, and I was very bad in solving those puzzles + there are so many possibilities to softlock yourself so I wished many times there is a restart level option XD

Armstrong: Plunge, Protect, Punch by abcdef65g 2025-04-09T11:54:08Z

800 meters :D Not a very deep dive I geuss. Liked characters and poster design, brings up vibes of some retro boomer-shooters like doom and duke nukem. I noticed at least 2 kinds of platforms, from the description it's clear that some are breakable - green ones are, I geuss, but I haven't tried. I tried the other ones XD My point is - it's hard to tell from platforms design which are breakable and which aren't. Also overall gameplay feels a bit slow\shallow for that kind of games, my screen was often pretty empty, like with 1 lonely platform\monster wondering around. Anyway, I had some fun! And punch animation is pretty neat! :D Good job creating a game!

Feast Thine Eyes On Flowers by Hempuli 2025-04-09T22:30:00Z

Very peaceful and calming experience - thank you! It was lovely to play around with the flowers, listen to the wind, and watch them sway. And stumbling upon that gem after all :D

Hyperspacedive by marudziik 2025-04-10T11:27:41Z

Didn't understand that I'm not allowed to move onto upper half of the field at first, thought I faced some control\collision bug. I got it pretty quickly, but, anyway, still think it may worth it to mark the zone where you are allowed to move somehow. Overall - solid retro experience, nice solo work!

Scavenger Deep by hope42morrow 2025-04-09T23:43:28Z

Great job folks! I wouldn't be the first one to say that the art and the vibes are great :D Keep it up!

Coin Grind by jester1454 2025-04-08T16:04:54Z

Great job! Bombing, shooting and jumping feels really smooth. Sometimes I wished there is smth that prevents me from playing it safe (like that scary spelunky-ghost thing or just timer). But I enjoyed playing regardless :D

Listening Winds by Hoichael 2025-04-09T23:20:39Z

The visual part really stands out. Loved those contrasts and shapes. Stylish! Great entry.

Diggidy Dig Dig by UntitledQ 2025-04-12T10:37:25Z

Awesome mechanic - very addictive. I’d love to see it developed further, I would definitely play it! :D The way discard button works is not obvious - at first I decided it is bugged, so I just restarted several times after I softlocked myself. Only then I realized you actually need to select cards to discard them. Also would be nice to be able to utilize all your hand during the turn - say, I have 2 coppers and 2 flats in a hand, feels unfair that I only can make 1 shovel. I mean, it doesn't influence anything in the long run currently, cause you can't lose, but adds ability to play maximizing your utility anyway :D Great job creating the game, folks!

Beneath the lies by bashem 2025-04-11T23:23:32Z

Entry scene had me laughing out loud! Later, every level down I waited for a new conspiracy to be revealed :D I had a great time playing this game! Awesome work!

Where is Jeremy Wattson? by Dock Frankenstein 2025-04-11T22:12:45Z

Enjoyed game's narrative and visual design a lot, very expressive! Awesome entry and greab job!

Fire Exit by ThorPalsson 2025-04-08T20:54:07Z

Wow! Just awesome work! So solid short horror experience in 3 days - that's super impressive. I enjoyed it a lot. Loved all those short encounters I faced while climbing the ladder, some of them really caused goose bumps. And at the same time the game manages to be funny with all that elfs staff and ending scene song xD

Yummy Depths by Neon Glass 2025-04-11T22:30:12Z

Great job guys! Some thouhgts\impressions that come to mind: Character animation is so stylish and the music is so chill that i wished little cthulhu wears sunglasses :D I think music is not looped, so at some point of 2nd and 3rd stage it stopped playing for me ;( Super cool background level caling\background change animation! Enemies feels weird, like you almost never can dodge aqualangist's attack in stage2, and submarine in stage 3 usually just blows up itself.

Copper Soul by Kamuniaft 2025-04-08T05:37:19Z

@zettasimp Thank you for playing! Fair point regarding battles. We were thinking about adding at least some rock-paper-scissors kind of mechanic but then just got overwhelmed by staff.

Copper Soul by Kamuniaft 2025-04-08T14:07:46Z

@jackshadow Thnak you for playing! UI definitely needs a lot of work still. You should’ve seen it on day two, it was way worse! xD

Copper Soul by Kamuniaft 2025-04-10T06:02:48Z

@keely-brown @brian-russell Thanks for playing and thank you for your feedback, guys. The game is quite random and unbalanced indeed, we weren't able to fully tackle those issues during the jam, those are not easy ones ;( We now have an idea for a combat mechanic and plan to work on it for the post-jam version. Our current goals are to introduce a proper combat system (which will also allow for more meaningful character progression mechanics) and to add more interesting tiles - like a shopkeeper you've mentioned, and tiles that interact with the surrounding environment. That should help improve things in that area.

Still a long way to go, though :D

Copper Soul by Kamuniaft 2025-04-11T09:44:53Z

@tosmaster Hey! Thank you for playing and for the feedback! We really took some inspiration from physical tabletops. Valid points regarding battle. It's more like a resource tradeoff indeed, and a battle palceholder to add some vibes. And also a statement, like, "hey, here could be a full-scale battle mechanic" xD. There are definetly positive outcomes for events, I guess you just was a bit out of luck at the time :D

Copper Soul by Kamuniaft 2025-04-11T09:48:52Z

@sam-gorman @marudziik Thank you, guys! Yes, there is a mechanic, that you are losing HP when you can't lose energy. It's intended, cause we didn't want the energy to be such a fatal limitation. However, it is really not communicated at all, that's a fair point, thanks for bringing it up!

Maps of The Darkness by Wolfier 2025-04-08T23:36:11Z

Cool idea with drawing your own map. Overall retro vibes are also strong. It was a bit irritating how enemies push you on attack - often out of the room, messing with the camera. Also I wish there is no timer. I haven't even fully explore the first floor when it almost run out. So, the message I'm getting from the timer is - don't waste your time exploring and drawing the map - better rush and find the exit fast. Anyway, I had fun :D Great job creating the game!

Maps of The Darkness by Wolfier 2025-04-08T23:43:53Z

@wolfier oh, good to know :D I kinda assumed I'll lose when the time will run out and just hitted Esc 5 secs before in advance. Wasn't very open-minded of me xD

Antz vs Plantz by Blue Pin Studio 2025-04-11T12:53:35Z

Super cool! There is space for strategic placement and new towers constantly appear, it was really fun to play! I got used to the ant annihilation system I built, it was painful to see those melon-sized ants wiping it all out together with the seed spots XD Great job, looks very polished and gameplay feels solid!

Vanity Check by NoNumbersGames 2025-04-08T17:31:04Z

Had some fun chatting with the demons and when the time has come - was smashed by them in a splitsecond. Not an easy thing to face yourself :D Awesome that each "demon" has its own music theme - really enjoyed that. Also, characters design feels simple but somehow appealing. Good job guys!

Vanity Check by NoNumbersGames 2025-04-08T18:27:34Z

@nonumbersgames totally my fault, I shoudn't have been so suggestible :D

Focal Depth by parkuhrmd 2025-04-11T11:28:08Z

That's awesome! I enjoyed cataloguing all the different species, chilled and then tension suddenly started to build up and the ending turned out to be surprising :D Environment is beutiful and carrying that qxygen hose around kept me busy enough. Amazing work for a game jam's scope!

HIM(1).Locked by fosf0 2025-04-11T17:45:38Z

That is incredibly well-done and catching! Complexity is overwhelming for me though.. I was trying to unlock last 2 files for almost an hour and at this point I'm just giving up ;( Anyway, I truly admire what you’ve done here!

Scares on Schedule by python-b5 2025-04-09T22:50:53Z

Looks like I would be a very poor guardian ghost. I tried, but haven't been able to scare away a single villager XD Minigames are quite hard, especialy the "Hover" one with the levitating dishes - haven't managed to finish this one even once. The overall concept is fun, I loved art and sounddesign. And those little interactions with the scene - coffin, chandeliers and staff. Good job guys!

Scares on Schedule by python-b5 2025-04-09T23:00:34Z

@python-b5 your explanation gave me some confidence - I tried once again and managed the hover game, actually now I think it's the simplest one, lol. Even scared one peasant away! Maybe I can be a ghost after all :D

Scares on Schedule by python-b5 2025-04-09T23:10:59Z

So, overall, I wish there is more merciful complexity curve, like first peasants have just one slot and easily scared away. In other words, I wish I have sometime to actually manage those minigames a bit.

K1937 by LogovoStudio 2025-04-08T19:39:00Z

Same here, died several times. Like, it was clear that I should keep the staff running, but I wasn't able to interact with anything in a practical way. However, that's an awesome pixelart you have here, I really loved it. And overall atmosphere is strong.

Plain Sight by ejunegao 2025-04-15T10:41:24Z

Awesome, cool visual style and I loved there are actually choices and at least two endings! Great job and really solid game!

The Stochastic Abyss by Ezard94 2025-04-09T21:52:45Z

At first I was trying to figure out what's going on.. but then I just clciked super fast through all the deck of cards and won 2 times in a row. Haven't been so lucky on my thrid playthrough, though, > 2000 cards in my deck, merciful god! XD So, in the end, I haven't really figured out if my actions influence anything except when to draw a card. If they are - there are defnetly problems with some feedback on that. Ohm but I figured that you don't lose when the timer ends - it just start to go negative :D Arts are pretty interesting with that "minblowing fundamental science magic" vibes, and that was some exploration experience!

Payback Pit by Alem26 2025-04-11T15:27:29Z

That's a lot of work! Had some fun running circles from those swarms of monsters :D I can mention a couple of things that I think could be simplified a bit:

- there are tons of ore types you can see in UI but you don't influence which one you get and you just sell all of it right away, so, in fact you don't really care, but UI make it looks like it is important.

- There are many different places, like, shop, selling point, upgrades shop, You need to interact with which one separately and while they are in a single "zone", it still feels like they are quite distant from each other and are separate places you have to "keep in mind in figuring out". I think making just one place would've simplify perception and make them feel more player-friendly.

- You forced to sell ore one by one, and that just feels irritating, cause you have to take care about alot already - reloading, dodging monsters, getting the ore, etc.

So, it's all pretty minor stuff that can be solved one way or another, but my general impression is - I, as a player, was a bit overwhelmed by stuff. So, I think the experince in general can benefit from having maybe less - but more polished and simplified features\mechanics.

Anyway, amazing, how you guys managed to get so many things done, great job making a game!

Hoard by Talif Moor 2025-04-11T23:55:57Z

Cool mechanic, really fun to play. Though feels like you got to be fast and lucky to succeed, in other words highly dependent on how good blocks you are going to get. I wish I, as a player, have some tools to manage this randomness a bit, maybe break big blocks into smaller ones to hand craft perfect block. Title gives a good hint on how to play, cause at first I tried just pushing every container straight from left to right xD Great job!

Deep Zero (updated version) by SesMiRe 2025-04-08T19:55:22Z

Cool initial cutscene! Though, looks like this kid dived into this cave on purpose xD I made it to the surface, but wasn't able to find any trigger that should finish the game. Also wondered around the labriynth for a while - that's a lot of modelling work! Good job creating a game, keep it up!

BURIED by meylish 2025-04-08T22:18:06Z

The ending was a bit grim, I was hoping I can save the dude xD Really liked soundd esign and the overall art style feels consistent. Very solid entry, great job!

The depth of insomnia by David_best 2025-04-09T12:24:14Z

Feels very unfinished, to put it straight. Camera controls are clearly bugged and I couldn't guess what I needed to do. Environment itself - half flooded ship with some kind of mechanical insects - looks interesting. Better luck next time!

Deep concussion by xoudz 2025-04-08T16:48:34Z

First of all, it's lucky that I got that helmet :) Almost made it out of the cave, but failed to make it through that climbing section. I guess I was supposed to memorize keys pattern before starting to climb, but I didn't and that was the end of me. A pathetic death by boredom after meshing all the movement buttons for several minutes XD Maybe I bugged myself, idk. Great job with visual effects and I liked that Entry scene, with falling, picking up the flashlight and staff.

That cursed rock, I stucked on: Cliff.png

into the forest depths by Fliegen 2025-04-08T23:01:06Z

Great artstyle! Cool meachanic where you can cut off arms so enemies can't attack you. Tried to cut off leggs, so I can easily run away, but that didn't played out well xD Overall complexity feels a bit over the top, it's really hard to pass through the granny encounter even when using arms cutting hack. Also I think the experience could benefit from some background music loop, just some open licensed one. Oh, and hilarious first scene with a gnome teaching you how to fight before trying to kill you :D Impressive job overall!

The Truth Lies Beneath by pacome 2025-04-11T20:48:47Z

Super chill music, enjoyed it a lot! Jumping and dashing feels good. That mechainc with a bird huning you really looks fresh and cool. Though, I wish there is some ability to break free from her and use her as a movement tool - feels unfair when she just caught you and stuck under some platform, so you have to restart. Too hard for me to get to the end, starting from the very beggining each time is rough XD

. by protzz 2025-04-08T21:38:48Z

Super impressive Compo entry! As someone who’s spent dozens of hours playing Balatro and Inscryption, I love seeing how this game taps into similar mechanics and ideas. And the vibe feels pretty solid already! I also can really empathise with the desire to create a cool Steam release. I think this game has a potential and given that you managed to create it in 2 days solo - I think it is really doable, keep it up!

DATE IN THE DEPTHS by WHOLE GARBAGE SALE 2025-04-08T17:11:29Z

Haven't figured out what the input button is ;( Can switch menu options with arrows, but can't select any, cause "enter" or any other button I tried don't work. Idk, probably smth with my keyboard/system.

DATE IN THE DEPTHS by WHOLE GARBAGE SALE 2025-04-09T07:36:50Z

Now I was able to play! Turned out I haven't tried "Z". The concept is halrious, but I felt a bit guilty luring all those fish just to eat it XD I love how the mechanics play off each other - like luring in both tasty fish and enemies, while some fish run from your light. I wish the game is a bit lighter, or at least, osbtacles has better visibility, I had to strain to see them and that did't felt quite fair. Overall, I had fun! Good job creating a game!

Deep Truth by Emily C 2025-04-09T13:28:56Z

Lol. The concept is hilarious. Had some good time listening to crackpots mumbling. Liked how you guys made this "deep thought" generator's voiceover! The runner gameplay section is visually cool and impressive, but the gameplay itself feels a bit clumsy and irritating - too hard to navigate through all those surreal 3d forms floating around. Never made it better than "D" ;( But I had a lot of fun anyway, thank you for this experience :D

Life&Depth by Jacky San 2025-04-09T21:29:21Z

This is sooo good! I really enjoyed it. There may not be a ton of mechanics or details, but what’s there feels super polished and fits together really well. I especially loved the moment where you launch out of the water in that little submarine, then just lie on the ground to catch your breath - like some kind of sea creature :D Soundtrack and effects are very well done and artstyle is solid. Awesome work guys!

Devour by ScoobySnacks 2025-04-11T13:46:33Z

Cool concept! Nice to be a giant underwater devourer :D I was a bit mislead by that spikes mechanic - wasn't obvious you can actually ignore them after you passed them with the end of the tongue. Dragged that ship to the bottom with pleasure, wish there were more of those xD Good job!

Eraser by mars88 2025-04-12T00:14:51Z

Great narrative and artwork! Loved David Lynch references :D

Spirit Lock by Brian Russell 2025-04-11T14:26:29Z

Awesome! Loved the world switching concept and the mood in this game a lot. Cool characters design! It was a bit hard to handle 4 worlds at once in the second last section, a lot of staff to memorize, wish there are some hints where platforms are going to be in a particular spirit world. Not an easy thing to solve I guess, since they can ovrelap. Maybe some preview mode, just thinking out loud :D So, overall, I had a lot of fun playing and really enjoyed the experince! That's super impressive you've pulled through the game that solid and polished solo!

Bag of Bag of Bag of Holding by ZettaSimp 2025-04-08T13:51:56Z

Amazing how you've managed to fit fun puzzle with tutorial and jokes into just set of slots! I've had a lot of fun digging through the bags and in the end somehow managed to softlock myself on the "bread of sandwitching" step xD
