Good on you for trying something unique and interesting. Didn't get any good generated content unfortunately but I think you did a great job regardless.

I got some chuckle worthy parts, some puzzling ones, and some ho-hum passages too. I love this take on the theme, very surprising! Nice work!
Interesting idea. My favorite line was: "I wasn't happy with my job, because I was a kid?" Indeed. :)
Interesting narrative and good atmosphere there! Nice Job!
I love how unique this is. I also love the very funny voice lines, that were most likely created by the developer. However, I think this game was lacking visually. If you have more time to improve this game, I would start by adding more visuals on the screen, and better UI. In addition to that, I did not know which lines would make the audience say "Yay!" or "Boo", so I would also suggest adding a way to tell the player what certain lines do.
Great narrative and mood you were able to put together. I also liked the humor here, well done!
Look, this has some issues, but it's probably one of the best takes on the theme, it's a very creative idea, and if it weren't for some execution errors could possibly be one of the best of the jam! Mostly, the prompts should show the whole sentence, not just the start, and you should be able to mix and match to form a single sentence, not just pick a box and see the entire sentence on screen immediately. Other than that it would be most presentation, refining some graphics, an ui overhaul, but this is the core of a very great idea for a small joke-y game, if you polish this and release around the time of the oscars next year i'm sure it would find great success! great jam entry for sure!
@white-rice Thanks for the feedback! Yeah with more time I would have liked to refine the UI and add some crowd visuals :)
@vitor-milioni Appreciate the feedback! I agree there's lots of opportunity to expand the speech possibilities -- I like the idea of mix-and-match.
This is a really great take on the theme! I chuckled reading my finished product
The concept is original and very interesting, but I would have loved to have more fine control over each reply!
The lines were hilarious, and I liked the sound effects too. I do wish I had a better understanding of what choices would be penalizing, so the game could be more easily "won". Letting the player read and copy/paste the entire speech at the end was a genius idea I would never have thought of. Nice work!
@anhievus @chairshot-games Thanks for the feedback! Given the theme, losing is inevitable but yes, we could have given more indication as to what lines help delay the ending :)
This was alright but most of the messages were nonsensical. I like the idea though. Needs a better indication of what will be seen as boring.
Another horror game  RIP stage fear people.
I like the idea ^^
So, some of the most surreal landscapes I've ever seen. Totally transformed by man. And that got me to go out and buy a bigger house.
And with that, I was asked to exit the stage.
This made me laugh, which I needed, so thanks for that! Interesting take on the theme.
I like the idea, but wished I had more control over each entry or a longer preview or something. Didn't get any memorable entries, but I'll try again!
*"So, gentlemen, stay with me awhile, for nothing prevents us from talking to each other if we were unable to come to the help of the corruptor"*
Well if that isn't the most profound thing I've heard all day, I don't know what is!
Really cool idea, I'm glad I ran into this! It would be nice if there was a replay button after you have exited the stage. A really fun experience, keep it up!
@arttu-halonen Thanks for sharing! Sometimes the generator does spit out some great quotes :)
Very interesting and funny game! What I thought could use some improving is mostly audio. Other than that its quite enjoyable game. Great work! :)
very innovative idea for a really uninspiring theme!
does the way the player plays the game have any bearing on the MC patience, or is it just a straight time limit for your speech?
my run's favorite quote was: Screen Shot 2022-04-11 at 3.15.52 PM.png
@sakura-magika Thanks for sharing! And yes, I was hoping for one of the other themes :)
The answers do vary the patience drained, but it's fairly random. I had thought about adding a sentiment analysis engine, but running sentiment analysis on generated text seems like a crazy loop :D
Interesting concept. Missed some introduction scene. There is no way to find out how your replic will influence MC patience (at least I failed to find any correlations there), so, in terms of gameplay, the game turns out to be just selecting 1 replic out of 3 in random, which is not very exciting. Good thing is - you get your whole speech at the end, that's give you an ability to discover some new facets in it. End game track is nicely selected :) Good job making the game!
photo.png This is exactly what happened: in 1984 TED was founded, and in 1989 the US invaded Panama in order to hold the first TED Talkā¢; perfectly accurate.
It's always fun playing around with generators like this, but it's hard to make them feel rewarding after the novelty wears off.
It was a good idea to frame the game around giving a speech.
Very unique take on the theme! I loved it, although my speeches made no sense haha
