Okay now this is ambitious, a souls like in a jam, you guys are nuts. Clearly the mood is working great, the dweller was a big surprise for me, and i am actually impressed by the job done here on the mood and i really had fun in exploring the level!. The spotlight guiding to firecamps was a nice addition.

I think you are well aware of the flaws, the UI indicate there is a level system but i don't think there is, the physics is buggy as hell, i litteraly did not get hit once, it is useless to kill enemies, the camera is weird... The game's not finished... take this with a grain of salt cause i'm not particulary a good jammer, but you might want to reduce the scope next time, doing a souls like that is playable and has such a good mood on 3 days is an impossible mission! And present screen shots of the game so people will want to try it out! Any screen of the village in the dark would be enough.

Nice try! i look forward too see your next games with this kind of ambition! I'll genuily will remember the dweller with his red eyes spitting flames!

@magic-mike Thanks for the feedback! We wanted to do even more than what we could get done as you can see

I'm glad you had fun!

Great enemy defeated! I have to say that I was pretty happy to find some kind of secret boss under the floor. You've made a pretty great job in 3 days! It would really have been an awesome jam game if your game could be played with a controller and had some kind of music.

As @magic-mike said, you really should put some screenshots on your LD game page as well as on your itch.io page. It will attract more people.

The atmosphere, music, level design and art, were all really nice. I found the control system pretty janky though. The motion blur is turned up way too high, and the mouse sensitivity is extreme, so every movement of the mouse causes the whole game to blur, like the character is drunk or something.

As the other commenters have said, you should really add some screenshots. I basically just downloaded this game at random as there was no way for me to tell what it even was. I think it's good enough that more people should play it. Maybe you could add a bug fix with reduced mouse sensitivity though.

Thanks @abdonatioera, @chocolat-endive for the feedback, I've already made most of the changes that you were asking for and added a post jam version. I also added a few screenshots to help show what the games about!

I'm glad you both enjoyed the game!

I just played a god damn dark souls with a boss fight! :) That's impressive jam entry! Great job, folks.

You've got a ton done in 72 hours! Very impressive and fun game to play.

muriel 2022-04-10 21:33

Jeje as many said you really managed to get a dark souls un 72 hours, good job.

Also I loved the fact that you can do a Roly Poly (Watch the following video XD) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gAxcGkAY2I

Thanks a lot for your entry I really enjoyed playing your game!

A Souls clone is a bit too ambitious for a 48 hour game jam IMO, but cool level design! I am impressed with what you guys did manage to do in that time.

This is pretty crazy! It did feel a bit boring as there wasn't much reason to kill the enemies, and the open world didn't seem to have anything to do, except for the secret boss fight, which really took me by surprise so good job!

The beams of light shining down from the sky were cool and mysterious, and the visuals had some really nice vibes to them. As others mentioned, it's very ambitious, but your entry is certainly impressive.

That was pretty insane for a jam game. The combat was really bad, but honestly I didn't mind that much. It was fun exploring the world you built, and the boss caught me by surprise. Would have liked to see a bit more originality in your interpretation of a Souls-like for a game jam--I think if you ruthlessly stripped away unnecessary stuff and added your own flair, you could make an ambitious project like this more feasible to complete within the 72 hours, while still having that Souls-like feel (ex. trying a simpler combat system that's easier to make feel good, not implementing unnecessary bonfires, etc). Overall though, really cool entry and I appreciate the ambition.

[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1457959497?t=00h33m55s)

FromSoft better watch out, there's a new player in town :smiling_imp: It really is crazy how much y'all were able to cram into such a short amount of time, nice job!
