I liked this game quite a bit. The retro style was really nice. I managed to complete it too, turning off the factory.

I liked this game quite a bit. The retro style was really nice. I managed to complete it too, turning off the factory.
The sound design is nice. I liked the skybox too. Interesting concept.
I like the art style, reminds me of Night in the Woods. I found the way the cat jumped about when you're low on health made it quite difficult though.
Great idea. I thought the music fit very. The shapes of the enemy ship were interesting and provided for good variety between rounds.
I really liked this game. The concept is great, the ambience is fantastic and the writing is really well done. I liked that you could choose different characters at the start. There was a bit of an annoying bug though, the pages kept repeating themselves, even when I didn't have that book in my inventory. I think it would be nice to have a map in it or something too.
The art was charming, and the music and gameplay were great. It took me about four runs before I figured out what I was doing though, maybe have a button to bring up the controls infographic while playing.
Seems like a nice game. Kind of unsure what to do though. I walked around for a while reading the messages provided by the cubes. I couldn't find a way into the cabin or a way to leave the island and get to the other islands. I managed to clip through the cabin wall and enter the boat, then waited in the boat until the rising water pushed me through the roof. I then sailed across to the island with the plateau, but the bridge was broken and I fell to my death as I jumped across. I didn't complete the game.
The graphics are very nice, I especially like the way you've done the water and the trees. I can see the outer wilds influence. Maybe things could be a little better signposted though. I might spend some more time with the game later on and give a more in-depth review if I complete it.
Overall it seems like a well polished entry, good work.
I enjoyed this a lot. The shooting felt great, watching hoards of zombies explode into splatters of blood was really satisfying. The music was awesome too, and fit well. It might be nice if their was an indicator pointing in the direction of the zombies though, I kind of just randomly ran back and forth.
@lord-shulky Thanks for playing, and finishing it! Yeah, I think it probably was a little too easy, what with the amount of sticks. I took a look at your game too, really nice.
@sjpixels Wow, yeah, that's some great feed back there, thanks. And thanks for playing it! I made a couple of bug fixes based of your suggestions, like the audio issues and attacking through walls issues. So thank you.
@steve-dragon Thanks so much for the kind words and feedback! Yeah, I originally wanted to have a few different types of attacks, to make it a bit more mechanically challenging, but didn't have the time to fit it all in. I might release a post-jam version. There was so many ideas I had for it that needed to be cut out due to time constraints. Anyway, thanks for playing!
@skruffye Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I think it was a little easy, I might release a post jam version with increased difficulty and more enemy variety. The sticks are used to regain health if you're hit by enemies, but if you have full health you wouldn't have noticed anything.
@ugly-robot Thanks so much! Yeah, I was going for an aesthetic similar to Dark Souls.
@baubau Thanks! If you mean the wobbly shadow, I used a shader for it. [The book of shaders](https://thebookofshaders.com/) is a great resource. For this, the chapters on "shapes" and "noise" are what I referenced.
@smiley Thanks for the feedback! I just tested it on Firefox, and yep, it's not working. The game had some audio popping and stuttering issues before, which is why I opted to use the shared array buffer export option in Godot, but I might revert it back as it's not working on some browsers.
The art and the music were great. It would be nice if there were a few more tasks to do.
Nice game, the music was nice and soothing, and I liked the monochrome color scheme and art. The idea was very innovative too. It was a bit confusing though, I think it would have helped if things were a little more dynamic. Like when you click on an organ the organ info panel slides out from the side rather than just appearing. It would have been good to have all the organ health numbers constantly visible too, maybe along the top of the screen or something, so that when you are dealing with one organ, you can still keep an eye on the others. I don't know what the "upgrade" or "special" boxes did either.
Once I understood what was going on, I enjoyed it. There's a fun game loop here.
The atmosphere, music, level design and art, were all really nice. I found the control system pretty janky though. The motion blur is turned up way too high, and the mouse sensitivity is extreme, so every movement of the mouse causes the whole game to blur, like the character is drunk or something.
As the other commenters have said, you should really add some screenshots. I basically just downloaded this game at random as there was no way for me to tell what it even was. I think it's good enough that more people should play it. Maybe you could add a bug fix with reduced mouse sensitivity though.
Fun game. The graphics were really nice. I liked the concept too. I thought the beginning was more difficult than later stages though. Maybe having larger asteroids than can break multiple defences at once might help.
Great idea. I liked that the end boss was constantly visible. Really added to it.
This was really nice. I didn't know what to expect at all when it started, but the more it went on, the more I wanted to press the button. Loved the ending song too. Great work.
Great game. I loved the music and the retro art style fit very well. I think it would be nice if the enemies de-aggroed as you ran away from them though, rather than chasing you across the map.
The art is very nice. Fun to play. I liked how the jumping felt very precise, and the delay before the attack introduced some interesting strategy.
Nice game. I liked the art. The colors looked really nice, and the music was very good too.
Nice entry. The music was great, and it was funny seeing all the weird stuff coming at your ship. It did seem to get very difficult at about 120ish seconds in, which is were I lost. Maybe try smoothing out the difficulty curve a bit.
The atmosphere was great. I liked the music a lot, it fit very well. The graphics could use a little work though, I was a bit confused at first as to why I was dying, I didn't realize the lives were going down. Maybe indicate that a little more somehow.
Nice art and sound! The control system is very innovative too, but could maybe use a little work in terms of how it's implemented.
I think there might be something wrong with the web version. It nearly crashed my browser when it changed scene. The windows version was spamming a bunch of errors to the console on scene changes too.
This was fun! It took me a while to understand what was happening though. Maybe flash up a message saying "low resources" or "low stockpiles" or something when you try to build and don't have the required things to do it. That might make it a bit clearer. Overall, once I understood what was happening, I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a lot of minesweeper. The sound effects and music were really great too, they built quite an intense atmosphere.
Fun game. I liked the way the tiles moved to the music. Great idea.
@j4cko16 Each beat is 0.5 seconds, and about every 20ish beats the pattern changes, but yeah, I ran out of time to add more relating to the theme.
@kusaji Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, it was a bug, it's fixed.
@thesmellofoxygen Thanks! Adding a fail sound is a great idea, I might do it in a post jam update.
@cheeks, @steve7411 I checked, and yeah, there's an issue with that. Thanks for playing!
@davidtheginger Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, I think it's a little easier to sync the audio with the gameplay in Godot.
@alex-de-la-cour Thanks for the feedback!
@mhorth Thanks for the detailed feedback! I do like the idea and might try expanding it, at least to the point of a post jam update adding some of the things you and others have said. Glad you enjoyed it!
Interesting take on the theme. It took me a little while to understand what was going on. Nice art.
I enjoyed this a lot. The art, music and atmosphere were all really great.
Nice music and art, I liked the potion seller sprite! It was kind of hard to hit things though, maybe including some auto attacks or something could fix that.
Great art! I really liked the tower system too, with the different elements combining. Nice work.
Fun game, fit the theme well. I liked the way you did the platforms.
Loved the art and music, very atmospheric, and the constrained level design was great. A little confused as to the resolution of the story though.
A fun game. The shotgun and laser feel very nice. I liked the camera perspective of the game too.
I liked the fried egg, the way it moved was great.
The graphics were very nice, highly polished. Gameplay was fun too, there was a real sense of speed.
Nice game! I liked the art and the music was great.
I liked the idea of placing the towers, and how they attacked on timers. The enemy movement was interesting too and made for some strategy. I felt the game could have done with some sounds and additional feedback though.
The art and music were very nice. I liked the way the jumping felt, kind of floaty, but it suited the game well.
