I liked it. Very contemplative game

I liked it. Very contemplative game
Great game. The post jam version corrected lot's of bugs, great work!
Nice turning in rhythm games, the ideia of the in-game editor was a nice ideia too! I liked the fact that if you try to mesh some button to avoid collapsing the plataform, it wont work so the player really have to hit the right side with the right note. Great game!
Great ideia to think in a game with politic instability. The art is amazing too!
the boss battle was unexpected, I loved it! Nice game, at least in one place I'm not scammed in this kind of machine lol!
Nice game there. It's kind o unplayable for me since my mouse doesn't have the scroll button, so maybe you can add some way to remap the inputs in the future.
You can play on google docs too, neat game there!
Hello fellow physicist, from where you are and what do you study?
Nice game. It works well but some music and sfx (cc0 or open source) coulde enrich your game.
Another suggestion, try yo make the dialog box a little different from the background and/or a little transparent. It's good to differentiate what is the dialog, what is the game and help to navigate through the room.
Other than that, a very nice game and a lovelly lab. Congratz
@soulo, I'm from USP (SĂŁo Paulo University) and I'm doing my phd in the HEP area with direct dark matter searches.
It was just now that I realized that you joined in the compo, not in the jam That makes the game more impressive, congratulations!
Solid artwork and amazing music. It is really fun to play
though there are some minor bugs, like, sometimes the next message button dissapears
this game made me remember that character in fallout new vegas that had an theoretical deegree in physics. Nice game!
Nice pun with the theme un-stable, great game!
I loved the music used there and the sfx are on par. Great choice!
Nice game there, I would love to know how did you programed the visual novel side in godot. Did you used any plugin or did all the code? The game was really enjoyable!
Something that bothered me is that you can add charge to the neutrons using gamma scattering. The neutron can decay in a proton, eletron and neutrino and the proton can "capture" an eletron and turn into an neutron and an neutrino. as far as I know, there is no other decay mechanic for those particles. Anyway, sorre for the physics mambo jambo.
Even thouhg you hasn't made the music, it was a nice choice and very fitting to the game mood, good work!
there is a collision bug here:
Capturar.PNG
I don't know if the x position of the ghost should be stationary when it is on a plataform.
The art and music are great, nice work!
Nice game. Like said by everyone, the size and mass change mechanics where absolutely good!
@vir, it's crt effect, to mimic old tube
I've studied some shader at https://godotshaders.com/, there are lots of them with cc0 license (public domain) wich is good
In theory, use change the UV of the viewport rect and in the fragment use a sinoidal function to make the scanlines.
If I remerber correctly, Godot use a slightly easy language for shaders. For Unity, you can try something like this:
https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/shaders/fullscreen-camera-effects/ultimate-crt-80048
https://luka712.github.io/2018/07/21/CRT-effect-Shadertoy-Unity/ -> this one is well documented

Also, thank you all for the feedback.
@jpatchz , We may add some way to restart the loop. Since the main character is in a curse, just asking for the entity to bring it back doesn't fit thematically.
I will work a lttle more in this game after the LD's ending. I believe that an indicator of the number of orbs needed to open doors can solve some problems. However, adding indicators to where to proceed and what to do breaks the mood of the game a little, so a first and shorter level may be ok. Adding some stopwatcher to think without wasting all your time may be an addition in the future.
As an aesthetic, I would like to put an rewind effect in the entity returning hand, since it's possible that the rewind and looping isn't so clear for every player.
Thank you all again!
Thank you @deltamain , I'll look at the code. there may be some issues with the condition for the jump and coyote time.
The art and graphics of this game remind me of cyanide and happiness and flash games, very nostalgic! A good game for the first jam, the game didn't have any bug ( i didn't find any at least). Keep going with this good work!
I loved the shader used to get this vibe in the game.
I really liked this one. There were various games in this jam that used some kind of mental instability in a disrespectfully and your game use it in a way that can be used to draw awareness to this topic, congratulations!
Hi, like other people said, you can't get out from the tutorial screen and the x key doesn't seem to work.
You put a comment in itch.io where you said that you would wait the end of the jam to solve it.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules from the rules, you can patch those bugs if they aren't working properly (x button):
Certain Bug Fixes are allowed. You canât add new features, but if something broke or didnât work correctly as you were finishing up, you can fix this after the deadline. You are asked to highlight the changes you make in your submission (a short change log). You probably wont get a 2nd chance with some players, but at least it wont be a problem for future players.
Anyway, nice game!
Nice game. As said before, some outline to highlight the text in the main and selection screen would be good.
I liked the game. Simple and yet, well polished. Congratz!
I enjoyed this game. Some way to know how much water there is on the boat while steering it would be good.
I'll always pet the dog, sorry =\
Nice game.
For future updates, you could make the object snap to the maze grid since its possible to not move all the way and get stuck.
I really liked the visuals of this game
Nice game. As said above, choosing the menu using a/d or attack spamming the click instead of the z key could be a nice addition to the game
In a real backroom, I would pee at any corner lmao. I loved the idea of this game, nice work!
Great aesthetics!
Addictive game, Making the squashing square delete coins instead of giving them to you could make the game more challenging
Thank you for the feedback,
I've updated the instructions so the right keys should appear for anyone that plays the game now
I didn't understood what w and s do in the gameplay. Anyway, nice game!
We opted out from the audio since we used a music from a humble bundle we bought. We'll update de itch and ludum dare page to give more informatio (but whitout spoilers ;) ) and credit the resources used. Thank you!
@bluedingo that was the idea! We aren't natives so sometimes our English text may sound confusing.
@mhorth , we used Kenney future, from Kenney assets
On our first brainstorm, I almost picked an idea where the space would be limited by light. I'm glad to see a game where not only this idea was chosen, but it worked nicely too!
I liked the game. The spacebar skipped to the next level, not sure if intended but helped to progress when I was stuck
neat idea, I've never thought of mixing Norse mythology and chthulhu mythos
Art is art, don't look down on it just because it's simple.
Nice game. It took me a while to understand that I control both sides. aswd and arrows keys works fine so after some training, it's possible to play fine!
I didn't understood how to use the upgrades =(
Really nice game! It would be nice if we could go to game in the instructions screen, without having to return to the main screen
So, where did you find inspiration for this game???? Jokes aside, getting used to the control takes a while, but it's a very enjoyable game!
Nice survivor-like game! As said before, the bat is bugged, it seems to maintain distance from the player
