This is a ambitious product and I like it! It has a steep learning curve and I don't necessarily agree with all of the powers you have but still It's a new take on platformers and I thought it was made pretty well. Congrats!

Very consistent gameplay, a wide variety of mechanics and very beautiful artwork.Probably they have a lot of trouble making this game XD. For me, it's a masterpiece.
Congrats!
A lot of controls to get used to and once you start moving it can get a little too crazy to control but fun!
This was fun, but super hard!
That's funny! This game is in the same ballpark as my own for this JAM please check it out. I really liked the grappling hock machinic.
Had trouble the first time I loaded the game where keyboard input wasn't going to the frame with the game in it. refreshing the page fixed it up for me. There was a lot going on, I like the idea of having some "almost broken" super powers but you can't keep using just one of them. Fun entry to the Jam. I enjoyed the time I was playing it.
Realy nice GameConcept, with gravity have you to think two times what you have to do on one mission. Nice Idea like the Musik and Great work with that physics jumping. :)
This game is wild! Moving around was really satisfying once I grasped the controls.
The controls were a bit finicky at times, but I think there's some fun mechanics/ twists used to freshen things up! Definitely digging the retro aesthetic <3
All the abilities are very polished and super ambitious! I spent a while playing just the tutorial :open_mouth: using all of them was kinda overwhelming, kinda just stuck to shifting gravity where I could. Looks like a lot went into this though, solid game!
Very hard to control but it was really fun!
Looks and sounds very good. The powers and the meters for them are really innovative. It's hard to keep track of it all but I really enjoyed trying out a game like this.
The controls take a while to get used to, and once you do get used to them, things get chaotic pretty quick, which for the theme works really well. I admire the amount of mechanics you tried to stuff into this in such a short amount of time, and the fact it came out as polished as it did is really incredible. In my opinion, it would have been better to lower the amount of movement options, and try to refine them as much as possible. I think the gameplay would flow a lot better with fewer movement options, so as to better encourage mastery of the traversal, as opposed to having to remember what each button does. The tricky part about having a lot of mechanics is knowing how to use them instinctively. I found myself having to stop and look at the side bar a lot just to figure out what I could do.
For other aspects, graphics and audio work really well. I'd love to see a version of this game that's further refined, because it's a very interesting take on platforming.
It feels overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it is quite fun. Good job!
What an interesting game! The art is very nice and the ideas are plentiful and cool. The game is quite chaotic with the 6 forms of movement, though. Cutting it down to around 4 may make the game more manageable. Bounciness is also too bouncy, and most of the forms of movement make you move to fast. Overall, great idea and nice job!
so many good mechanics here! i just love roping games good work! really fun and innovative.
Damn, as you continue you realize there are so many abilites, and all of them well done. I actually managed to grapple onto and enemy rocket AND even destroy their rocket with my own. Well programmed sir.
This was a really good mechanical yet challenging game. Love every aspect of it, from the challenge to the style. Controls needs a little getting used to, but oh man...it's a blast once you get the hang of it.
Very cool platform game with a lot of fun mechanics!
Too many controls make me a little too crazy to control but fun!
Wow, this was really good. Learning to combine powers in moderation made this a lot of fun.
Nice game there. It's kind o unplayable for me since my mouse doesn't have the scroll button, so maybe you can add some way to remap the inputs in the future.
@jaspior Oof, that's unfortunate. I'll definitely look into adding that in a future post-jam version.
@kwiper yeah, at first we planned to make it a bit more minimalistic (especially because we were all tired due to a jam we participated in a week prior), but as the main mechanic revolved around juggling cooldowns, having only 3-4 abilities made that a bit weak. I do agree that settling at 6 ended up being an unfortunate complication in terms of learning the game.
Being honest though, 2 of those abilities (namely the teleport and the bounce toggle) weren't designed to be used much, especially the former, and are more there to serve as a get-out-of-jail free card and a tool for more advanced players, respectively. Given more time to flesh up these ideas, we'd probably introduce these abilities one at a time and shuffle them around to better balance the cognitive load on the player.
I think this was a really good use of the unstable theme. The mechanics really helped that. I felt like the learning curve at the beginning is way too steep, especially since you need to keep track of a lot of different movements. Also not everyone has a middle mouse button (think about us poor Mac users!) so I wished there was some alternative I could've used. But really impressive work for just 72 hours.
Honestly eveything I could say has already been said. Really interesting take on platformer games. Though I agree that there are probably one or two unnecessary mechanics. It doesn't help focusing on mastering the game. But overall it is challenging and I think it is rewarding. Which is probably hard to balance in just 72 hours. So great work indeed !
Awesome game but so so hard!! I finished tutorial and stage 1 only, after 25 minutes
Nice level design, impressive amount of content and mechanics, but I had a very hard time playing. I think the controls could be more fluid. Took me a lot of time, unforturnately due to frustration I haven't played until the end, but still, this is impressive, good work!
