Junta! Police State 1981 by rjhelms 2021-10-09T05:18:10Z
Well done, feels like a finished product and a great take on the theme. Even though I got penalized for running over innocent civilians it still made me giggle. GG

Simple agame, wish I could see this nuclear lasagna cooking tho. GG
Amazing, as soon as I loaded it up I was like aw damn, this is gonna be legit. Awesome pixel art, and the flame burning down the blocks looks incredible. Well done!
I have played quite a few games so far since this is my first ludum dare, this game is EASILY my favourite! I loved it so much from the very start with the semi-cinematic opening, the take on unstable and the reveal of the beautiful scenery that you crafted. I thought it was full of humor and the idea of the game was really easy to understand, and once you figure it out then it won't take you long to finish, which is a good thing for a jam game imo. Fantastic work, congratulations on a great entry <3
This needs more plays imo, such a cool graphic style, really takes me back to my first time playing games with half life. Really nailed the mood on this one. I thought that the player was a little bit grippy on the surfaces so it was slightly hard to move in tight areas, but other than that I think this is a great submission. 5 for mood most definitely
Couldn't understand the game at the start but kinda worked it out after a while. What is meant to happen after you get the blue ball? Is that when you win? I liked the shooting particles and the crabby dude, but the player control was a bit tedious to use.
The catching was pretty intense but also super funny, I like the take on the theme a lot.
Fantastic little game, HAD to finish it and the last two levels were really hard but I made it! Well done to making a simple game put keeping it polished and playable for anyone! More levels please.
Such a good little game, found it to be the best tetris-like game I've played so far in LD. Well polished game, good job.
Well done art, I agree with above about having some kind of tutorial to show the mechanics.
Awooga. This was so funny, had to get to the sexy booby, was not dissapointed. Whens the full surf game coming tho? hahaha
I loved the animation at the start with the red eyes, super cool. The music is hilarious and great quality, did you make it yourself?
This game so good, I only wish I had a player 2 to verse. The sideways movement felt so clean with the noise and animation. Loved it. When I found out you could jump kick I was stoked, great little game. Feels complete.
Clean everything, very simple but executed perfectly, sticks to its basics but has the polished. The game is super hard from the get go when you start a run. Maybe a easier curve at the start of the run with larger blocks and less ropes would improve the experience for the average user. Audio on point too gg
I think I ran into a bug in the second room, my hand ability got stuck coming from one location. Loved the eerily drawn face mask, well done.
Fun and simple game, felt very satisfying and fair to get a good landing. I felt like I was a space X pilot. Well done!
So good dude! Perfect take on the theme, and well done at that. Being able to speed up the planets was pretty hilarious too.
I like the fact that the character has a model when you look down, and a shadow, although the controls felt a little bit delayed when I stopped walking.
The movement in this felt super clean, loved the 8 directional movemnent. Had me laughing.
Really well built game, the different views were so cool. Satisfying to finally get the system down pat, after a million meltdowns lol. Can tell this is well programmed, and has a great aesthetic with it also.
So good! Such an original little game, was kind of a puzzle in a way because you had to solve the room in the right order to get the little kittens out. Really liked it and it gave me a good laugh. GG
Nice mix of the two gamemodes with this. Would be more satisying if the tetris blocks came down a bit fast and the player could move a bit faster. GG
Actually really enjoyed this, usually I'm too scared to play horror games, but because it felt like the AI was unstable and not actually 'hunting' me, I was able to deal with it. Great idea and I can see it being built upon. Enjoyed it.
I can't believe this was a compo game! Amazing entry, everything is so well polished. Great job with this. Can definitely imagine a full game with more pieces and a bigger scale.
Man the sprites were so clean in this game. Story was good but I think I saw a typo in the intro. I would say it needs sound FX on hit of enemies, and the was quite hard to see in the dark.
Get these ants away from my honey man, was fun to fly around and the ant timing was solid. Couldnt reach the ants if they tunneled into the side a bit.
Was scared that something was gonna jump out at me, good job with making darkly light space. Could use some spacial audio cues for when the ground is falling out beneath you. Solid entry :)
So humans evolved into rolly balls with jetpacks? Love it, some nice systems in here with the inventory and pickup-able items. The ice storm is super OP at clearing the bats. My one gripe is that I spawn with like zero health if I die, making it hard to continue playing. Maybe a reset button would help?
This was so much fun, I genuinely couldn't stop playing - I think my highest was 11. Very satsifying mechanics, pesky wizards knocking my nice tower down.
I got a good laugh out of that intro zooming in screen lol
Man this was good, you could just tell from the get go that it was a great entry, loved the enraged mode. Well done to the team.
Twas a fat download, but thats ok. The graphics were really cool and I thought VFX looked good. I found an easy way to do well in the game was to just stand where I spawned.
For me the best mood / visual game I have played, absolutely loved the imaginative landscapes and different paths you could take. Made me feel very thoughtful and creative, would love to work on a project that had this kind of vibe. Great job, its a 5 for me.
This game black screens on browser :( let me know if you get a fix and I'll give it another go!
@ayced thanks for the tip, got it working.
Pixel art is nice and sound interactions on point. Couldn't find the actualy reactor for awhile tho.
Damn, as you continue you realize there are so many abilites, and all of them well done. I actually managed to grapple onto and enemy rocket AND even destroy their rocket with my own. Well programmed sir.
I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong but when I craft the bomb it just drops? Can you lmk and I'll try again
I am traumatized from killing the sad cube and then a million sad cubes came flying at me. This game surpised me a lot, in a good way. Simply platformer with a cool unstable take! I'm hoping its a character for the game, but if not, you should DEFINITELY keep making games!
Obviously the pixel art is on point, story is great, sounds are satisfying and the simple mechanics are easy to understand. There was a part on the last level where I was like, how am I going to do that, then once I got 5 cards I unlocked the super combo power. Could see this becoming a fully fledged game if you had other cards in the mix too, attack or defence cards? Flying or floating cards? Anyway, great game :) Am a big fan of your channel.
Man there's actually so much in here for a ludum dare game, character model looks legit, you have a minimap, you even have semi-transparent walls when you need to see through. The enemy models are a bit basic but the hit detection is on point. Running around spellcasting feels pretty good, maybe some sound design is all thats needed.
Man is still alive without a head lol. Would be cool to see him move faster with healthier limbs as well as some more sound FX. Good job on the connectable limbs.
Awesome audio and some really clever mind teasing puzzles. Loved the interaction design so that every click felt nice.
The little character is so cute lol. Also thought the sliding red wall looked great. Simple but effective art style communicated the mechanics easily and well designed levels. Mans run animation was SO fast hahaha
Man this game felt like something you would actually spend money on it was that well done. Great job to the team and big respect to the solo programmer <3
Man has all the pickaxes, the throwing mechanic was super satisfying even when I spammed the crap out of it. Timing on obstacles was good, I managed to get to the end but only by pure luck. Not sure if it was my screen ratio / resolution but I could not see where to go or what obstacles were ahead - which felt pretty unfair.
This game needs more plays! I was so blown away after playing, didn't expect to have such a lovely experience. I absolutely fell in love with the characters, the pixel art was so good, would love to work with the artist on a project. Highlight was defintely the rope maker who could detect a rope wanter was hilarious. I think I would have liked to see the whole world in pixel art, but thats just a preference. Well done guys.
Trenchrunner is a super polished game, it feels complete and well thought out, I like the players trade off of movement to bring out the theme, and the levels were always exciting with the gas slowly approaching. Not many LD submissions with a boss either. GG
Damn I loved this game, the two fists were so cleanly animated it was unreal, must be rotoscoped? Great job, real contender for best overall game !!! No critique from me
I am a fan of the drawn in ingredients and the funky music. I think I would have continued my run if there were some more audio FX for continuing ie, positive audio for good matchs or a increase in tempo to create urgency. Had fun with this one, good job.
Man I was chasing this dude everywhere, found it slightly difficult to aim at the guy. The unstable visual effects worked well to stop me getting to the dude.
This game was so good, as soon as I got the hang of it my brain like flicked a switch and I was looking for the combos. Simple yet original idea, and the audio that goes with it is also perfect.
Enjoyed this game after I figured out a good strategy to hit the orbeting objects. Gravity was well done and chasing the objects around orbit gave me mild KSP vibe. GG!
Cute simple fun, enjoyed this submission a lot. Felt compelled to give the good boi his big ol' cake. Controls were easy to understand, felt like a polished and finished game. GG
Instructions seemed hard at the start but actually were very intuitive after starting the game. Interesting take on the theme, well done.
I enjoyed the 3D structures, and the driving feels pretty good :)
Hey cool little simulation game, can imagine it turning into something super dope if there was simulated riots with little people and everything. I found it hard to find the end turn button at first, maybe make it more obvious for the user. GG
Not sure what the heck was happening, but the character made some funny noises, so that was fun. Maybe some more instruction for the player would be good.
Good theme, helping the environment is good, this game is simple but well executed. 45 seconds is a good time for this, no bugs as far as I could find and accompanied by a solid soundtrack.
Great little soundtrack for this and the animations were hella smooth. Critique would be that the jump didn't feel super responsive and slightly floaty. GG
Damn this was super hard to get a really high score, I think I only managed 20 and that took much time and patience. Super unique idea and I loved the environments and calm music. Great entry guys.
Art is great with the hand drawn animation for everything, I would love to do a game like it. Ambition project getting a whole ship system in, and I think a few of the games aren't working. Got some definite Among Us vibes from this.
Am a stickler for pixel art, this games art is dope af. Also you weren't lying, man is hella overpowered lol
This game would have benefited heavily from some audio, love the idea of a jellyfish game with ambient sounds and a relaxing vibe. To me the concept of this is great, but man pupu goes crazy with the red orbs. Good job friend
Enjoyed the hand drawn illustrations, I need to do a game like that some time. Would be good to see attacks up and down.
Man this game was soooo good! Everything well polished and thought out. The pixel art was incredible, huge kudos to the artist on that. The sounds and music were on point, just the whole thing was great lets be honest. Loved the selection of characters. One of the cleanest games I've seen so far. GG
Music reminds me of stardew valley after the 3rd level. Pushing the animals around was slightly tedious, a grab and throw might've been better, but harder to programme. I liked the small details like picking up an egg while a chicken was around made them angry lol
Nice and simple battle game :)
This intro was killer, I got mad lost in the game tho. Sadly I think your intro beats mine! GG
So many portal locations, theres some decent enemy and character art variety, maybe the backgrounds could use some work. Good job !
The music made this so much funnier.
Well done! Art style matches the music and looks great. Breeding succesfully was very satisfying, had to have a few gos tho, the learning curve was a bit steep.
Found this super challenging, but very fun and fitting with the theme. Cool idea to chew the gum lol.
Really simple but fun game, one of those games you just have to finish. Got 7.21 my first try, music was catchy to go along with it and I think moving and tilting instead of normal movement made it work with the theme really well. More people need to play this lol
Music for this was epic, love a good pixel art game, when I finally got it working with a friend it was good fun. Well done sir! Get the last ratings!
Holy crap that genuinely scared the crap out of me, the base game seemed like a innocent classic iPad game, but was quite a bit different to that. Nailed the theme and was really funny.
@Sceef damn sorry about that, I'm pretty sure I have a fix for that I can upload right away.
@everyone else, thank you for your kind words!
PS - My record is 35 ;)
@schafawafer I see you matt, haha thanks
Actually thought this was really fun, theres a great concept here and the controller felt realistic but responsive enough to be fun. I would say the music needs some work, and if you could work out a system to keep the unstable pile a bit higher for longer, it would be even better.
Good entry, particularly the slow motion when you get hit and the music.
The fun facts throughout were great, I do love building block games. Would have been nice to see a way to earn money after you start so you can continue to build.
Actually enjoyed this game, always enjoy platformers tho. The mass and size mechanics were well done, I liked being able to squish the enemies and press buttons when I got thicc. The art maybe looked slightly weird when it got resized.
Not exactly sure what's happening but spawning balls is definitely satisfying :D
One of the comments I see is true, first boss I've seen in this Ludum Dare! The models and art are incredible, game feels well polished and simple. Could use some more audio to go along with it. Did you make the assets yourself?
Character art is well done, are you using a skeleton for it? The parts with the double cactus were very hard - I could not get far.
Hilarious little game, I got a good laugh out of it. Was all extremely detailed and well thought out. I believe you will score well for humor and I also think your pixel art is on point. GG
Man this game looks good, from the clean pixel art sprites to the orbs that accurately float around the player, not to mention the creepy monsters. What a well polished product in this project. I did find that I could often sidestep the monsters but thats okay, hitting them felt better anyway. Wish my project looked half as good.
Good feeling jump and fair courses, I got the hang of it so quickly. I liked his jump noise.
At the start I won really quickly, in like 9 seconds. I was like what? So easy. But after replaying it I found that the ending moves around all the time, which is an idea I like a lot! Well done.
Pretty hefty download there at 1.5gb, was a good game, love these types were you upgrade and try and get further each go - quite addicting. I would've maybe changed the camera angle to not be on the table like that as I often felt dizzy / motion sick when I got a wild spin.
I am pretty sure that I beat the game, I defeated all the enemies on the last area, then there was nowhere to go, was that the end?
This game has a lot to it, I like the feeling of getting chased by a hoard of those guys. It got pretty frantic there at the end, you really have to swing your mouse fast. I did like this mechanic a lot, but it did feel a bit slow when he was wielding the sword. I am also sad the music didn't loop cause it went hard. Solid game
I feel like theres already so many comments here, but just wanted to say how blown away I was. Fantastic entry I want you to win for overall!
Just saw this on a stream :) Fun game and good mechanics that tie in with the theme. I found it difficult but fair, the timing on the different forces was well done to make levels challenging. Good entry.
This was awesome! Loved the intro scene with the two random commentator dudes, and the 3d environment was so well made! My opponents were no match for me however, especially since they got stuck at the first gateway. Well done.
Needs a bit more instruction on the controls and I feel like the camera zoomed in too much, especially after I attached to some huge objects. Art is great, I even found a dead spaceman :(
Cute little pixel art, I think the run sprite was maybe a little bit jumpy. I think the jump for a platformer game is super important and could use a little work here. The levels were designed well to keep the player with options to stay safe, but also there was a large amount of levels that offered similar challenges, so it was a bit easy to feel stale. Teach the player something new, challenge the player with it, repeat.
This game looks so damn good, I made a huge pile lol.
I see pretty pixel art, I click. Beautiful game with nice music, simple UI could and not too many hints about the cards left the choices fun to make. GG.
So nostalgic of balance bike type flash games I used to love playing growing up. So good, perfect use of the theme with an original idea. Great visuals and easy mechanics. GG
I scored 27, game controller felt clean and responsive, was nice mechanic to shoot around the enemies to cave in the ceiling. Felt great when I sniped the last corner to kill 4 at once. Good job fren
Man this game looks and feels really good, this sound matches well with the pace of the game. The models even have little legs was a nice touch.
Man I hit wave 4 and got absolutely swamped with enemies. LOVED the illustrations of the enemies, they were so cool. Really enjoyed the graphics of the moving ocean and the platforms with indicators was a nice touch. My critique would be that the style of the enemies and the environment doesnt quite match, if you could somehow add aa illustration like filter on the environment it would have been next level. SMG was OP af
Like the retro hackerman vibe but gameplay didn't keep me playing for long - too stressful when everything is popping off.
Got it working. Definitely unstable, found it difficult to stay within the area of the circle.
Curious little game, always a fan of simple but effective visual styles. GG
Awesome Game! Can't believe it didnt get enough ratings!
Awesome game! I loved it. Easily one of my favourites
10/10 audio, dat whisper ASMR. Great submission.
Hilarious game and great concept, can't really fault this game so good job. Great submission.
Favourite game of the jam so far - I love it! Can't stop playing it.
Damn just played this after I saw the results! This game gave me chills - the voices and mood were so fucking good.
Started our relaxing and enjoying a peaceful game, next minute Im absolutely stressing about the swamps of traffic - very clever game. Well done.
I got to 22 clones also^ LOL. Was a good dodging game with quite a bit of skill, I feel like it was 80/20 skill luck. I think my game is like the opposite. Fun game, would have been nice to have extra animations on the enemies. Good Submission.
Really well polished game! Bursting the balloons was super satisfying as the audio was overall very good, a little bit frustrating chasing after coins but I still gotta get them all. The particle effects were seriously amazing, the fire and timer were too cool, fantastic submission.
Really good job! Love the pixel art and the simple concept done well and polished. Less is more! Well balanced and very fun. Great submission.
This game was so cool, the feeling of running over tiny ledges while trying to stay alive was dope. Loved it :D
I loved this game! Super fun with a really cool concept and design. My only flaw is a quickly reached late game where i could just fly off the map. Other than that loved it and great submission.
Some damn good visuals here, in particular the idle animations were on point. I'm a big pixel art fan so these animations were good to watch. Good submission.
Hilarious game!! Love pretty much everything about this, great idea and great submission.
Played this game yesterday! Did you make the models yourself? They are so clean and nice, love this concept and it was really polished. Can't criticize this at all.
Love this game, audio made me feel so immersed in the world. E N E R G Y.
So cool, absolutely loved the aesthetic and sound FX.
Amazing soundtrack and vibe to the game, super hard I couldn't make it to the end in one go, but I definitely spent 30mins trying lol. Great submission.
Very polished game, good fit to the theme, good visuals and audio. Great submission overall.
Graphics were cool, I enjoyed the camera movement and the pacing of the models. I think it took too long for the game to properly ramp up. Also I had hella laser turrets and the fucked shit up. Good submission.
Wow, these kinda games make me wanna do a 3D game, the models look really good did you make them yourself? Was impressed by the overall look of everything and enjoyed the music. I did get hella swamped with rubbish very very quickly, maybe consider having the first couple of loads a bit smaller? Good submission, gave me a chuckle!
Man this felt luxurious and professional, what a supremely well polished entry! Great job, I love it.
Instantly, I love the graphics and the mood - there's just something about the simple boxy graphics that goes well with an eerie mood. I think you could have had something super gripping if there were infestation creatures in amongst the mist, I was already scared. Good Submission.
Super fun game, the cinematic intro was 10/10. Fast paced mini games are always fun and these were well executed. Great submission.
Pixel art fire was on point, really good submission.
Really enjoyed playing this game - super addicting! My only gripe is that it got way too easy in the mid to late game, I felt like I could survive forever - I was just waiting for freeze and hill cards, and my island was covered! Maybe scaling the cost of the prayer cards would help with that. Great entry and very impressive overall for compo. Well done.
Loved this game, the story, the music, the graphics, the gameplay. Everything was good. Well done!
Super polished game! Easily the best of the top-down dual-stick style games I've played of this jam. Every interaction in this game is very clear, the overall UX is extremely well done. There was nothing I couldn't figure out easily, the communication was excellent. Music and sound FX were good, and the variety of enemies made the gameplay fun each time I tried. I just saw someone get over 30 minutes WTF.
Really loved your interaction design, and also your easy-going personality on stream! Would love to collaborate one day :)
Loved everything about this game, I think my favourite arcade-ish style highscore game. I got to 40s and then got absolutely clapped, super fun and the slow motion is everything.
Well done! Polished pixel art game, easy to understand and fun! Good submission.
This game was cool, reminded me a bit of quake-like shooter style, I thought the audio was great and I really liked the shot particles bouncing off stuff - how did you do that?
Cute platformer with a unique look! Not sure if its already in there, but I feel like the jumping off ledges could use coyote time :)
Great vibe to the game and I thought the writing was really well done. It took quite a long time to collect stuff after a while, but y'know, gotta keep this noble born bear fed. Good Submission.
This was stressful, I managed to save 16/20 people :D The audio really bumped up the mood, good submission.
Love me a good skill game, made it all the way to the end after a few tries. The key is patience, thanks for the great submission.
Graphics and mood were absolutely on point, I laughed at the monsters that had SLAY on them. Not too sure about the mix of keeping eyes open mechanic alongside the typing one and moving around, felt like a lot at once, but that's just me. The style reminded me a bit of limbo, animations and movement were on point.
Loved this game! The aesthetic was awesome and the gameplay was unique and fun! Really liked this submission. It reminded me a lot of a game from LD49 that I loved.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/tables-tremors
Still different quite a lot, but I actually thought you guys might be the same team from last time haha.
Good job!
GET YO HANDS OUT MY PIE. Very funny concept, I particularly enjoyed the jetpack. Someone thought, this game needs a jet pack - and they were right.
This made me sad, I love my good boi! Awesome game!
I got 103 lesgooo :D Whats the highscore?
I smashed that bridge! Nice 3D game.
Love that you can move the soldiers around and they stand to attention in formation, so cute! The line up and shoot mechanic is definitely unique and I can see it becoming quite a skill but maybe you're button choices could be better.
Duuuude, this was a compo game??? Holy shit this is like a full legit game! Well done, it took me a minute to figure out the mechanics of the game but after that it was very intuitive and I really enjoyed the style and audio. Super impressed by how much is in this, but it's all good stuff. Well done.
Amazing idea, gripping story, and fantastic choice of artworks. I found this to be so interesting, I never thought of using the image generators in such a way and I have to say this is the first time I've experienced someone utilizing them really well. In my experience people have just been using them for funny one off images or cover / album art. Great idea and well done, should definitely explore doing this further.
Something about endless runners that look nice, I can't stop playing lol. I liked the music paired with the hand drawn sprites, you have a nice parallax bg which is something I wanted to add to my game but failed. Good job, I had fun :)
The 10 seconds is the perfect amount of time to plan your next moves whilst also being challenging! Well thought out mechanic and detailed explanation. Good entry.
Simple and fun game, I loved tetris so this was easy for me to understand and play! Music became a little bit repetative, but only a small gripe :)
Dude this game was actually so awesome, as soon as I saw "Eleventh second" I clicked, great title and a great take on the theme. There was a great story, and very simple mechanics done well. I loved the feeling of hitting the powerups and also of reseting the time. The whole game was superb and well polished, great entry!
Cool concept, good music and audio, had fun with this as I'm a platformer lover! I think it needs a little more in-game intuition for instructions to the player. Good game :)
Soooo stressful but that's just me with this type of game. It was super well balanced and felt good to get the combos right. Well done :)
Duuuuuuude this was awesome, I have a soft spot for intro cinematics and this one was so good! Love it! Game itself was really fun, action felt punchy and fair, and the instant restart made it easy to keep playing. Really really enjoyed this one :) Although I wanna know what's behind the mcnuggets door.
Oh man this was actually so good once I figured out the controls. I was getting chased by like 100 zombies at the end, but it was a good take on the typing mechanic and having to move around to avoid the zombies. I liked it.
Oh man this was such a fun one, another game I couldn't stop playing! I got to the 18th wave, I wish I had longer to collect the coins as I missed out on so many. And in a way the strategy was to kill the monsters near your base so it was easier to collect. Well done, a simple game done excellently
So good Adam! The poses for the moves were so nice and i loved using consective lefts or rights to make angus dance across the stage, nice touch. I did find a bug when I tried to replay the game it wouldn't let me unless I refreshed the LD page. As always, beautiful submission :)
Such a cool idea, I love how you're being hunted by the creature - actually gave me a bit of a thrill that the camera was so zoomed in. Great vibe from this game with the ominous audio, great atmospher well done.
Really liked the idea of the "date" situation, and the camera/sprite movement was really nice. I think the swiping away the bad comments could be slightly more intuitive. Good game :D
Great visuals and vibe! The mechanics were really crisp, and I enjoyed the memory aspect of it. I love upgrading games so this was perfect. My one feedback would be the recipes ahead list seemed like it wasn't moving because it didn't slide across, the sprites just swapped instantly, so if there was two spoons in a row, they dont look like they move, if that makes sense? Anyway, great submission!!
I escaped!!! So good and I love the drawn art style :) Was super simple and easy to follow how to play which means the game design was on point! Really fun and I just had to finish it. Great entry.
Dude! I could not stop playing this game, omg I loved it, so much was well done about it. I think there were a couple of bugs here and there but nothing that broke the game. I played for so long but couldn't get past the 18th wave which was super hard. Well done, inspiring me to make an upgrade tower defence.
@gangrue There are safe zones and I just detect if the player is in a safe zone, otherwise assume they're getting rained on
@ruslan-kossak Mostly recorded them and editted in in audacity, but the music was done on beepbox. Highly recommend!
@bukkaketears I love your comment so much, thanks for playing haha
@adamcyounis @gousen-pride honestly the banana was there in the sprites early, and I was like this looks fine for now, then had no time to change so had to fit it into the story ... lol
Such a cool atmosphere and I loved the simple and unique graphics! I'm wondering how you did the white beam of light? Are you able to tell me more :)
You left such a nice comment on my game so I had to try yours, and I loved it. I really want to make something similar to this for my next game, an upgrade style came you can just keep playing over and over. I had so much fun with this and the audio never got too dull for me. I did find that the 2 and 3 dices were really good and the 5 dice was super super OP. If I rolled any of the other dices late game I was screwed, I also found that I could jump out of the map. Loved it so much, great entry :)
Who knew bird names were so hard to type lmao! The little facts about the bird were super nice, but at a certain point I couldnt read them as I was madly trying to keep up! Good game.
Really fun game with what felt like original mechanics, was really hard to balance clearing the mobs whilst also making sure I was in the upgrade squares. Althought it took me a minute to figure out I could dash through walls. Really good submission with great mood, visuals and audio.
This game reminds me a lot of binding of isaac, I like this take on the 10 seconds theme as it was nice to switch between characters! Well done on this entry.
This is my favourite game so far, made me laugh so much when I first started killing people in evil mode. Really simple concept but original idea! Graphics were great and had really good visual communication and game design! Well done :)
Really fun game, I liked how you only got points for jumping over the cars but they were also the thing that kills you. A good double edged blade mechanic. Good entry :)
The main sprite animations were so good, I loved the shield up one especially! Simple game but fun! Well done sir
Art was truly amazing, I stared at the finishing screen for so long wishing so badly that I could draw that good. The music was good and after I understood the mechanics the game was simple and fun, although my gripe with it was the player was sliding around a bit too much, I feel like with these puzzles they should move a bit more predictably. Well done, good entry!
Interesting progression when you get further but I had to stop as it got too stressful with the constant worrying, not your fault tho. Good game!
So fun, loved the use of pixel camera! Simple but fun game with an easy but still tricky goal to work towards. Well done!
Really nice test of memory, it was simple and easy to understand but maybe a little bit slow. I liked the camera controls :)
Such a nice mood to this game! I loved the take on the theme as well, and the graphics were superb :) I couldn't figure out how to learn plowing tho.
Press space to die haha, love that. Art was great alongside the vibe, really loved the parallax background and the simple game mechanic done well. Very polished and a great use of the theme! Love me a good platformer too :)
Unfortunately the exe isn't working, please update me if you get it fixed and I will play :)
It works now!! Enjoyed the first person 3D game, however I wished the camera was a little wider(?) I felt a bit tunnel visiony. I also wish the checkers were flat from a collision perspective. Despite these, the mood was awesome and it was a cool idea.
Great sound effects! Made me laugh, after figuring it out I found the game quite easy, I feel like I could've stacked bodys outside forever! Good entry
probably the best game I've played this ludam dare. love how you can extend outside the original gameplay screen with the dirt tiles, and i think the sound effects are satisfying and fun.
super polished and felt like a complete and balanced game. Visually very nice to look at.
Great job :)
Such a fun game! I need to make a game similar to this in the future, I had a lot of fun once it started getting chaotic with a million projectiles flying everywhere and my computer starting to lag lmao, loved it!
Great narrative in this game, and for the most part all of the audio was excellent, and sucking up the eggs felt very satisfying. I do think the music during the rounds was a little too upbeat for such a dark, dystopian world :D well done!
Man I loved drifting around on the little chair, was a little tedious picking up and dropping off the key cards, but overall I'm impressed with the 3D graphics. Did you make all the models yourself?
As always, bippinbits delivers a fun game that keeps me entertained for an hour at least. I always check out your entries as they are always amongst my favourites, and this game is no exception. I think its the systems you guys buid which keeps me coming back, the accelerated game loop is addictive and so satisfying to build your own system. Thank you guys for another excellent submission <3
love the visuals on your opening screen. In full screen mode it was a little overwhelming and intense, a bit hard to distinguish between the different elements, they started to all look pretty similar. overall fun entry!
Took me a while to figure out what to do, and the background audio was slightly tedious, but I can tell you put a lot of effort into your systems, so good job on that. Solid entry :)
Good job for making something in the unreal engine, I always find it a bit tricky since I'm very used to Unity now. Im inspired to make an unreal game myself. Well done :)
Graphics were good, I was missing some sound and maybe some explanation of the extra vehicles that spawned. I was able to figure out some naturally, which felt good. Good submission.
I was an absolute menace at the very start, snapping up every soul. Then I realized I only had a certain amount of energy and lost instantly. Good vibe and good submission :)
Cute little bee, reminds me of pong a lot! Super groovy music as well :) good entry !
Graphics are great, and feels very peaceful, did you make the models yourself? I do think this entry would be improved drastically by a moving camera as well.
Wow, impressive. Atmosphere and mood were really good, and it felt like I was always so close to reaching the goal without it being unfair, managed to get it in the end. Really fun :)
best game of ludum dare so far. time flies when you're having fun. Mechanic was super fun but really really satisfying. I think the sound paired perfectly with everything, the music was calm and enjoyable. I'd love to make a game like this one day, well done ! :) I reckon you'll get in the top 10
Well done for creating a solo submission! Unfortunately I got stuck in the second area and couldn't move. The area change noise also scared the crap outta me it was so loud haha.
Absolutely LOVED this game! Such good atmosphere and I have such a soft spot for the graphics. Please please please can you tell me more about how you created the PSX style look? I am dying to make a game similar. The game overall played great and the concept was super interesting, kind of like the movie Tenet, but make it harvest. Well done!!
Should have allowed an audio rating cause I thought the audio was good too :)
@marcoming Yes maybe a visual warning for low oxygen would help make it more accessible :)
@kr4ft3r I am glad you enjoyed it ! I love your comment :)
@BurnsDesigns Let me answer some of those questions :)
You slow down based on how many oysters you pickup, so many players felt like they went slower up, when its only due to them having more oysters on the way up. I agree the depths should be more lucrative, the RNG matrix I created can easily be adjusted but I can't change it now that its past deadline. Agility is your ability to change direction, at max agility you will have zero gliding movement lol. I agree with all of your ideas, I wish I could incorporate dropping mechanics in time for submission :(
@Achilnos Thanks for playing! Happy to have made your favourite game so far!
Super cute game which started off super peaceful but rapidly became intense and chaotic. Good entry guys :)
Really simple but enjoyable game, the aesthetic was great and I felt nice and calm whilst playing. Wish I could rate this :(
Damn this game is super polished, was really impressed by all the audio, animations, and especially all the low poly particle effects. Great submission, I had a lot of fun.
Very cool style and intro, I felt like I was missing the ability to move diagonally but that was my only gripe. Good submission!
the first time the tomato spoke was so funny, watering voice clips got a little repetitive. Wasn't too much going on but I still felt compelled to keep watering thiiisssss guy. Simple + sweet
Holy crap this looked and felt really good, the atmosphere felt quite spooky too. I got a massive fright when I got jumped by a bunch of ghosts, they kind of railed me. Well done.
Such a visually pleasing entry! loved the atmosphere and the aliens, cool creative concept! fun to have a 2 player ludum game too!
Great visuals, sounds, and also really fun. General game loop was chaotic, but fair once you learned the tactics. I thought this was great :)
music slaps, love the increase in speed when you harvest wheat. maybe the game would benefit with a bit of look-ahead on the camera, but other than that, loved this entry :)
Wow the hand drawn sprites came out really great for the otter and seaweed, the gameplay loops is very simple but it is a jam, so that makes sense. I had a similar issue! Well done :)
In a way this game is super similar to mine, 2 dimensional controller trying to collect things and then getting upgrades. I do wish there were more upgrades however.
Those orbs were incredibly menacing for an inanimate object, very funny to walk around a corner and have one staring at you. A little difficult to tell which power was selected. The limited flashlight range added to the suspense and the sound when you collected all of the vistages was spooky af.
Great entry!
i absolutely LOVED this game. It reminds me of spy books with coded messages I loved as a kid, I want you to make more levels!! I could play that all day, my favourite game of the jam so far. Super unique and innovative idea, amazing entry :)
Cute and simple fun game, liked the speed up / slow down of the music !
The change at night was super unexpected but super cool, the graphics were sick. Felt like a really polished game, great job!
I like the little drift marks and the map, but driving was a bit sticky, good submission! definitely nailed the theme
Such a clean game for a 48hr entry, player tutorial levels are super intuitive and easy to understand, loved the challenge of the learning curve, felt very polished. I could see this with 100 levels on the app store. Great entry!
Such a fun entry ! I was so engrossed as soon as I started playing, pixel art was incredible, and game play so thoroughly developed, I loved sending my heroes off on missions. And I love the audio! I’m humming the music now as I’m typing this. Would say it took me a little second to realise there was info on the traits and strengths/weaknesses of each character, but when I accidentally hovered over the icons it was easy to understand. I loved playing this, thanks for such a fun submission!
I don't feel bad for Edwin at all, man had it coming. That being said, this game made me laugh, I liked the road runner game a lot. Lots of personality in just a few small games. Really fun submission
I really loved the idea of controlling the inside of the van, the game reminded so much of overcooked with the ingredients and cutting mechanics. I do think the game could have used more sounds! Great submission.
Cool take on the theme! I was a little confused understanding how it worked even after looking at your screenshots, a tutorial would’ve been helpful, but love the colour and mood
Unexpected and never seen before. Nice
Just played the game, the mechanic worked pretty well but was sometimes a bit unclear as it would type in a different line to the target word :( jokes were great tho :D
Unfortunately found a few bugs in this game, sometimes would shoot the rocket and it seemed to drift forever offscreen and the only way I could fix was by refreshing. Would be great to have some sort of idea of where the final delivery point is, I felt a little lost. Music was boppin though!
Wish I could've gone full screen to enjoy the nice models, did you make the models yourself? Evident you guys put so much work for the visuals, but found it a little difficult to understand what to do / the goal. Water creatures chasing you were cool. Good submission!
Sooooo well polished and well done. Great tutorial, great mood and great aesthetic. As soon as I did the first roll I knew we I was playing a good game. Great submission.
LOVED this. Played with my partner, somehow they were more well rested (?!). Started laughing as soon as I heard the background music, such a fun wholesome game
Cool take on the the theme! It would have been nice to have some kind of indicator once a guest had already been assigned a seat, there were lots of names to look through. I decided to create a little drama, and boy inviting the ex of the groom and a women wearing a white dress did not bode well, -5 wedding for me haha. I loved the graphics, so clean and smooth, Fun submission!
5 stars all the way, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS GAME, the lovely little music and all the simple but beautiful tiles. No pressure just relaxing and making pretty pixel art. Well done, favourite so far.
Well done guys, super fun game. Pixel art is on point here, personally I prefer when all the pixel art matches in size but it still looked good. You went through a lot of effort to put the crafting system in, so props to you. Good submission :)
Vibe was great and a classic time based platformer. The art was good but I think you can explore adding some more forgiving platformer mechanics like coyote time to jumps and wall jumps. Great job team
Great palette and componenent art, such a clever interpretation of the theme! My own robo vac got lost in my shower this week so I can personally relate to this game haha! Cool submission!
The pixel art is great, I'm a big fan, and it feels well balanced. Good submission and well done for doing it in 48hrs.
Amazing visuals, I loved being able to pick up and put down gear all the time. I got down to level 11 but could not find anywhere else to go? I'm still surprised by how much you guys did, well done!
I like the idea of having the abilities pickup-able and clearing them through each gate, it makes the platforming also a puzzle as well. Well done :)
Beautiful looking game with really good UI, sound design, and also just a fun game. I want to make a similar style game for this jam but in the end went in a complete different direction, so I'm glad I got to live out that idea through you guys. Well done :)
@doubley Thanks for playing! Did you beat Level 20? there should be a win game state after that :) (possibly a bug)
Genius idea and super well polished, as someone that loved tetris this was great. Superrr hard though but it was definitely a fair challenge, definitely my favourite submission so far. Well done :))
Loved the graphics, very smooth to look at and colour palette is really soothing. I enjoyed finding out what all the different options for each grid type were!
The intro was too good, great voice action and narrotion. Thanks for the laugh :)
Really cute game, easy to understand and play but was super fun! Controls were and game design made the whole experience very intuitive, well done, loved it.
LOVE LOVE LOVED this game!!! Had me absolutely wheezing with all the humour, I malfunctioned for about 10 seconds trying to figure out if I was NOT NOT a robot hahaha. The most I've laughed out of all the games I've played so far, storyline is on theme, paper throwing is wild, boss is rude. 11/10!
5/5 for the humour category! Honestly the name alone had me cracking up, I got a high score 258! So many elements tickled me, the windows crashing, the brute force at which my little koala dude unloaded the packages, grandmas obscene shopping addiction... One thing I would say is I think the lives in the top left corner should maybe have a 'package' icon, as I didn't realise for a while that I lost a life if a package was run over. Great submission!
sooo satisfying, and also slightly triggering of how tight moving furniture can be! I would play 20 more levels of this, loved the last level. Great submission!
Damn they really be bonking non-stop in this hotel hey. Well done for a hilarious submission, loved it.
Such a fun chill game! Opening screen art is so beautiful, and music in the background is perfect. I could easily see myself spending hours on this as a mobile game. Seeing everything eventually slot in together perfectly tickled my brain. Great submission!
I loved the death screen, the music and visuals of it were perfect, I also just saw it a lot cause I was rubbish. Good platformer :)
As a longtime lover of parking games since miniclip.com days, this was such a fun blast from the past. Also a reminder that maybe not everyone is capable of handling high powered sports cars (me). Lots of fun, awesome entry
I love the style of everything, the concept and the audio too, although some spacey music would have done well here. I think the game itself is quite hard but overall it was a fun experience, I love the pixel art asteriod waves too, can I ask how your experience in game maker was? I haven't used it.
Super funky vibe, loved the aesthetic of the music with the font and background. Gameplay was intuitive and fun
This was SO fun!! I absolutely LOVED his walking mechanism I couldn't stop laughing at it. The training level at the start was such a clever and effective way to teach your player the mechanisms of the game. It was very amusing to watch my dude bumbling around in stun mode after he'd been attacked, sometimes I was stuck in a corner and it looked like a street fight and I was losing haha. I also liked the framing on the start page, where you could see the dude (lizard ? )'s hands. Such a fun game, great entry!
Pixel art and palette was beautiful! Got to the end, great submission
WOW!! I was so excited to see you had made another game this Ludum Dare, and you once again exceeded my expectations! The gameplay was incredibly balanced, excellent level of difficulty that kept my gf and I playing for over an hour to finish it!! Art was BEAUTIFUl, i especially loved the red glowing church, I would make that more prominent on the screen as it's so pretty. Only comments I have are that it would be great to choose who you swap between teams, and also, the wildlings suck hahaha. And omg my heart broke everytime the heros would go and mourn their friends in the graveyard D: I got so attached to the characters, if anything happened to my Ub + Flavinius, I would've thrown hands. Seriously such an impressive submission, best game this Ludum Dare, and easily the most on theme, can't wait to see what you do next time!
Such a cool idea! I love the play on perspective, adds another level of puzzle and complexity to a simple and great concept. Didn't love the sound when you press the button. Great submission, would play more levels if they came available!
Music had me bopping from the get go, love the mood you've created. Struggled a little bit at the start, would have been helpful to have some labels on the different members of my team, and what their special skills were before selecting. With a little fine tuning this could be a really fun game!
Love the monochrome pixel palette, grew up loving typing games so this was up my alley. Really liked the freestyle to restart feature! It would be super cool if the demons came in an order that made you play a song haha, great submission!
Fun submission! Unfortunately it crashed while I was trying to light the candles for the first time. It didn't feel immediately intuitive to place the candles on the triangles, especially because there was no visual feedback that they were in the right place, whereas the apples showed the black mass growing. I really liked the little guy's graphics, very cute
Pixel art is great, felt like the jump to the hard one was very quick! couldn't figure it out, also broke the game when i stood ontop of a earth square, and the earth wizard raised it, and then I was stuck outside of the map.
Good submission!
I'm not a stranger to merge games, but I think my time as an ipad kid has used up my merge capacity for a whole lifetime! That said, the cat / ducks are very cute, and the gameplay is smooth and graphically pretty! Great job
I think the concept of this game is really cool but it might need a bit more balancing, it seemed impossible to leave my room, even if the counsellor was deep in another room without him detecting me. I never managed to get the cookie :( Also agree with another commentor that I thought I was the counsellor at first! Maybe some text to indicate that would be helpful. Great effort for your first submission!
Does exactly what it says on the box! I spent a lot longer on there than anticipated, enjoyed making them dance to the music haha
Graphics were very cute, loved the look of this game, just wish it was more complex so I could've spent more time! I got all the cats in 30 seconds ;)
Art was very pretty! I love the girls hair and look, the enemies were quite glitchy, and often blocked my way, or would get lost and then I couldn't find them. Cool concept, great submission!
Beautiful art ! Loved the medieval demon style, and the blob fish burger. It would be great if the dialogue was a little bit quicker! Great submission
Amazing amazing submission. Superb art and very precise platforming with a fun physics system. The game also had a nice difficulty ramp up with some very challenging levels. I thought the skill ceiling was pretty high as well, with the last level being really hard, it took me like 15-20 minutes to get. My only critiques would be, maybe a nicer background song and maybe some more invincibility time when you land on spikes, it would feel like if you fall in them you'll lose all your lives anyway.
Seriously great entry though, well done, favourite game I've played so far...
Played your game! It was a really great take on the theme and I found it quite a challenge to figure out the imposter, especially in the later levels! I think the camera move speed adds to the memory challenge of it all. Good submission Wendel!
Well done bippinbits! Another great submission, I'm always impressed by your entries, you and your team did a great job. Looks and sounds amazing, my only critique was that I ran into a few bugs here and theres, for example my chopsticks got frozen at one point and I couldn't un-freeze them without quitting.
125 top score! great Pico 8 game! Love the rabbit exploding graphics, simple but fun arcade style game, great submission!
I absolutely loved your game! It was a great take on a memory game and it got challenging very quick. The visuals were super cool, I loved the hand-drawn looking deflummoxer and the mookai/mookies. Honestly a perfect jam game, super impressive.
I wish I could be on the leaderboard, but I only managed to finish Level 1 - 40.48s
I'm not sure if I was using the launches correctly? they didnt seem to give me much of a launch. Other than that I really loved this entry, awesome audio and visuals, as well as a great atmosphere. Well done! :)
Easy to pick up and play, had a lot of fun with this one. Graphics were super cute and the theme was perfect for this jam. I wanna know what happens when you get enough flees on the last screen :D
Such a cool atmosphere you've created! Loved my little pill man, I'm realising looking at these comments that my progress bar was not working, I was pretty confused as to the end goal, but still thoroughly enjoyed myself! Got 134 viruses, would also have loved a full screen option, was quite hard to see everything as it was so small. Managed to save the sub from a few near misses, very fun! Great submission!
I played your game! Was fun to play a simple physics based tower build, and the art and vibe was very cute. I was unsure how to use the different tools on the right? They were clearly required to keep the tiny creatures alive, but I couldnt access them. Great entry :)
Hey, I played your game! I mean where to start, did you guys do those assets all yourself? The pixel art was seriously amazing, was getting Sea of Stars vibes for some reason. Gameplay was fun but the art definitely shined. My only critique would be in the woods, maybe having a bit more visual clarity about where I shouldn't really try going, I ended up thinking there were paths were there wasn't and getting a bit lost.
Other than that, a great submission!
Boats, I'm gonna need you to tell me your best time, ASAP.
I want the world record.
Screenshot 2024-10-08 165721.png
Amazing game btw
You don't want this smoke mr @itsboats. You may be the creator of Da Eg Hatcha, but I'm the best hatcha eva.
The new input definitely feels easier, I feel like it helps an already challenging game, good update. Although I like the old input as well.

@itsboats @koolruz Okay, the worlds greatest egg hatcha player has been summoned again...

Video Proof (enjoy some intense spacebar tappage): https://streamable.com/ja9njt
@itsboats I updated the link, maybe that one works?
@ategon yes sure that's fine with me :)
Love the atmosphere of the game created by the art and sound design, and especially loved the shrimps idle and eating animations. Unfortunately I could never get more than 6 points because the jumps were just too high for my shrimp to reach, shame as I would've played for longer if I could!
Hello! I played your game and got super addicted :D I managed to max out everything and overall thought it was very fun. I agree with others that its maybe a bit too slow, it could use a speed up time button like some simulation games have. Also maybe some kind of kitty boss as the last enemy would have been cool too. These are nitpicky things, I thought your game was awesome :)
Loved this game, just pure fun really. Kind of reminds me of skill surfing too
I played your game! It was a lot of fun, I ended up spamming pipsqueeks and the rush rams to win, the rush rams were seriously OP! I like the take on a deckbuilder auto-battler, our game is also a deckbuilder, you should check it out ;)
Was this game a solo job or team?
Congrats on the submission!
The art was great and some good sound design in there too, however the burning noise became slightly grating after a little while. Overall impressive entry :)
First voice controlled game I've ever played, very cool mechanics. Gameplay itself was quite simple and would love more challenging routes! Loved the art and voiceovers, great work on the entry!
What an odd yet intriguing game, I couldn't help but feel like there was going to be some sinister twist but the fact that there wasn't one almost made it more creepy! Simple game which I could totally see being a full horror game if you made it a bit scarier, great entry.
Such a fun game! Love a good ugprade system where you end up feeling like a god and just barely have to move to kill everything! Very fun.
Amazing atmosphere and visuals, also love the way you present instruction / guidance to the player without giving overly obvious hints. Shows great game design skills, super polished entry, you should be proud! :)
Cute game! Would love to see it developed a little futher, I think sounds to signify that your creatures have the right food, or have paid, or are cranky and about to leave would be really helpful. It would also be cool to have only the same species able to sit together for another challenge. I loved the art and the mood created by the music, great work on the submission!
Hello! I played your game! Very morbid but funny, I managed to fill up the blood tank on my second run, I was a bit confused by the bar on the left and what made that go up, was it just time?
Anyway, good entry and impressive as a compo!
LOVED this submission! Such creative challenges, the pumpkin carving was so fun to be able to change the pixels! I absolutely LOVED the one coloured element being their flushed cheeks when they were reunited, such a sweet touch, the colour in each others black / white worlds *aw* Such a great submission congrats!
Always impressive to post a compo game! Well done :)
Holy crap the visuals are awesome on this game, how did you do them? It's giving me maplestory nostalgia vibes (even though its not a platformer). Were there multiple people working on this game?
Amazing! Obviously taking inspiration from Papers Please! but making it super funny. As soon as I realized what y'all had done I was so impressed, awesome entry guys!
wow guys what an amazing effort! definitely took me to the DEPTHS of my nostalgia ;) Very clear to see how much effort and work went into this, loved the mechanism to 'collect' all the characters to use. The deepfried boss music was very fun, and loved to see all the credits including emotional support at the end. Great entry! Looking forward to seeing what you make next jam :)
Another amazing jam game, have loved your other stuff. I loved the art style, combining watercolour-y effects for the background with pixel art sprites, especially the dog! I have a border collie and you've captured their mannerisms perfectly! Think I'm going to bed now....
Seriously beautiful game my goodness, unfortunately ran into a bug with the player animator that got stuck in a loop and I couldnt continue, happened twice :(
I love fishing games! It was kinda cool to have it physics based with the rope, I thought that was super interesting. The hardest part wasn't actually catching the fish, but bringing them back up haha! Well done :)
Love the concept! reminds me of a lot of 'gravity' based games i played growing up on minclip.com, felt morbid walking past my predecessors graves haha. Great entry!
Randomly clicked on an LD game to do my first rating, and low-key hit the jackpot, what a vibe! Honestly first impressions with the running and diving were very strong. I'd like to see some more indicators about when you can do tricks and maybe some over the top particle effects to go alongside hitting sick tricks. Well done!
That crash into the floor feeling is so satisfying. Loved the arcadey vibes.
Nice ambient sounds and cute sprites! found a bit hard to get the hang of the controls, but loved the look and feel!
Very zen game, and I love a good upgrading game as well, maybe some more zen meditative music would have added to this.
xx.png
As someone who's idea of gaming as a child was typing tournament, this is my kinda game. Loved it! will be back to defend my record if needed ;)
@kaba thanks for playing! You've got the very first high score :)
gawdamn @farzher thats a sweet time, even got the 69 in there. will update the world record :)
@farzher insane time, not sure if that will get beaten lol - congrats
@farzher thats crazy, such a smooth run... I think it says 29:88 (correct me if im wrong) - ill update it now
I hope Satan is excited.... for no slices of pizza haha. love the prius defence system, great submission, got heaps of laughs from my partner and i !
Really tricky and precise platformer, the mechanic was super interesting though, not what I was expecting. Would be cool to add some mechanic where bouncing continously gives you bigger jumps. This is definitely very speed-runnable. Well done :)
I love physics based games, and this was perfect for a jam, well done :)
Lovely atmosphere man, would love to get some tips from you for how you acheived your audio - keep it up :)
Good stuff man! Keep it up, I'm sure I'll see you next Ludum Dare :)
poor julio! can't this guy catch a break!
Not a bad 3D platforming setup, especially for a compo. I did find it was possible to miss an ability and get soft locked in the area ahead, but overall well done submission!
Very trippy, was on full screen and felt a little lost in the eyes staring back at me. I had fun tho!
I found it a bit hard to understand, but slowly got the hang of it. Well done for submitting a compo tho! Even with bugs, its still impressive.
Super polished feeling game, really liked how everything felt and the concept was great. Unfortunately Level 5 was just too precise, didn't feel fair. Overall great entry though, just needs some more balance in the level design.
Amazing entry as always! Love the creepiness you went with this time!
Love a good spaceship shooter, absolutely adored the little accelation noises. Impressive to get all the systems in for a compo, my only gripe is probably the drift-y feel of the spaceship was a bit hard to work with sometimes. Other than that it felt quite polished.
Well done for making this in 48 hours for compo! I like the idea that they look like powerups / treasure but collecting them is actually not what you should do. I made it passed floor 2 but then it took me to the start, not sure if there was more floors.
The environmental pixel art was really awesome! Did you do it yourself? The mechanics were interesting, I think the movement could use a bit of polish, but the gameplay was easy to learn and follow. Loved the additional camera effects.
Short and sweet, these sokoban style games are satisfying when done well. I feel like the addition of the rat made it unique compared to other ones I've played. Most polished game I've played in this jam so far!
Wow what a sick concept! I kind of messed up by taking the first code I saw instead of reading down through the comments a bit. Visuals and SFX were awesome, I could feel the quality as soon as the game loaded. Absolutely love the idea though.
Really satisfying game, the chain effect of the blooming flowers was great. Agree with some of the above that zen mode is the way to go, felt less like a strategy game and more like an idle cozy vibe. Well done though!
Graphics were great, I think the CTR effect was really nice but slightly too much. Tricky game once you realize you get heavier while collecting. Good stuff :)
Super cute pixel art, the sounds and the visuals went well together. Pretty crazy for a compo entry, well done.
@immortalfox not as good as my last entry, thats for sure. Didn't have much time this jam, thanks for playing!
