I love how completely unreasonable this game is, really funny game with a great message. Good try trying to make my computer melt!

@legolula Thanks for the feedback. Glad you had fun!
Are all those grapic assets from you? If they are third party, you should opt out this rating category. ^^
If they are, that's quite impressive. ^^
Also I think you nailed the mood of a scifi junkyard ^^
@leorid All assets are made by us, except for the skybox I think. But thats a really small part :D
@snotax Updated my rating ^^ (no rating on graphics before)
@leorid Thank you very much :)
very cool! I loved the modelling of the garbage collector and the mother ship. Music was groovy and the main mechanic felt smooth (picking up and disposing trash), especially the throwing mechanic, felt satisfying to throw trash were it needed to go from a distance. The only thing I can mention is the difficulty ramped up VERY quickly. I had only just learnt the controls before I had a huge pile to sort through lol. Otherwise great work!
Wow, these kinda games make me wanna do a 3D game, the models look really good did you make them yourself? Was impressed by the overall look of everything and enjoyed the music. I did get hella swamped with rubbish very very quickly, maybe consider having the first couple of loads a bit smaller? Good submission, gave me a chuckle!
It's pretty nice! I tried to do smth, it's fun. But at the end the sound cuts out and the game actually freezes
@junklab Thank you for the feedback :D You could say "It's inevitable" ;)
@osh-studio Yes we did them all ourselfs. Thank you very much for the feedback! Glad you had fun.
@bravebanana Thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear that it crashed!
The models are really well made, and the sound effects are pretty rad too! I love how it becomes incredibly chaotic immediately. There enough time to learn how it works with the tutorial, and then *WHAM* you're on your own and the pile is growing fast! Very fun concept, and executed well. Nice work.
Cool game. I feel sorry for the poor robot :P
Well, I think I'll start with the bad things first:
I feel the gameplay could've been done better. I don't think the ships that dispense the trash should come in *faster* as the game goes on; you're already really slow at the start, so I think it should've stayed the same speed. Eventually you just *cannot do ANYTHING* about all the crud that piling up on you! I also think it didn't properly show my score at the end, just showing '0' as my total score.
I was surprised at how similar these issues were to my Ludum Dare 40 entry Shape Invasion. That also had the problem of objects piling up on you, the game dropping frames, and there being NOTHING you could do about it! The difference is that this is a Jam entry, it's in 3D, and it looks/sound orders of MAGNITUDE better than my LD40 entry!
As for the good stuff:
These graphics look REALLY damn good! Objects being outlined to show that they're highlighted is also a welcome addition. The music may be a little basic, but the sound effects are superb as well! This game sure has good presentation.
Good game, despite the problems. You all did a lovely job.
Hi, the art and audio is pretty good. The shipments are coming so quick that it is possible to manage what is coming in, but the the core idea behind gameplay is really good, just needs some balancing
Super great looking game. I love the art assets. Looks like it was modeled after the Vector robot, or maybe Cosmo? Either way super cool. One problem, for me the tutorial seemed to be messed up the first time and I didn't quite get what I was supposed to do right away. I saw the tips but there was already a pile of garbage. After I lost and restarted it worked, would have been helpful on the first playthrough. I would have liked the game to be a bit slower, you spend time developing the box stacking, but the trash was coming so fast I didn't really get a chance to play with it before things got out of control. Also, on the second playthrough I think the game over was broken because trash trucks were just coming 3,4,5 at the same time dumping a constant pile of trash until I was completely buried. Though that was kinda cool too.
@szkocka Thank you for playing and the feedback!
@ronanrory I appreciate your big chunk of feedback :D
@archimagus Thank you for your feedback. Yes it's surely possible that there are some bugs left in the shipped version :D
This game is REAL good!! I feel like you have plenty of things to do, maybe the ship dropping the props should come less over time, or even check the last remaining props to store, however, i've reach 94 score, i had lots of fun with this, great job! :v:
Interesting game.
Really nice game! Some small bugs (moving camera right a little makes it continue rotating, unresponsive controls at times) but has an enjoyable gameplay loop with some good art :D It would be cool to see it expanded with the junk drop points and disposal points placed in different areas to add some extra strategy optimisation/variation to the mix.
A really good entry! the mechanics are great and the gameplay loop is awesome. It's a bit awkward how after some time ships literally never stop coming and it becomes humanly impossible to clear the trash: maybe the inevitable should be a lit less inevitable. Other than that, a great game!
@zsharpfire Hahah true, balancing is quite a challange in game jams :D Thanks for your feedback!
So I think your on something great here! I know its a game jam game (they can all use polish haha) but very good job on the gameloop side!
Haha I had fun playing this one! A view thoughts:
- It became very clear from the beginning that the poor little robot did not have any chance, as the trash was coming in much to quickly, I did not mind though, I thought it was funny. But I don't know if all players can appreciate it. - The clipping of the camera through the wall was upsetting, that could have been prevented I think - The graphics are done very nicely and I like how the items were color-coded so you knew what to do with them - I did not really understand why the metal compressor had a counter. I saw that it started compressing at 5 items, but I thing that the cooldown for that could have been much longer, so that the player needed to do other types of trash before starting compressing again
P.s. one rating to go, good luck!!
I think the idea and the way that you did the game is cool, they need improvements, but this a cool mechanic and a cool game design.
The fact that the robot and everything is 3D looks really cool, I wish I only had more time to realize somethings. Btw, the fact that all the assets have a huge color line is great because people don't forget where you should bring everything!
Congratulations for the job, I hope you guys had a lot of fun making this game because the final result is really cool!
This is a very good idea well done! The graphics and sounds are cool and the game made me laugh! Especially when the waste began to arrive exaggerated quickly and it became chaos ^^ The movements are little too slow but the maneuverability of the robot is rather good. GG to the whole team!
I'm gna take this game as a direct attempt on my pcs life...but I loved it :D absolutely ridiculous but it was great fun.
Lets get the bad out of the way first, you need to tone down that camera swing with the mouse. Not sure if its the mouse acceleration or just speed or what, but it makes it REALLY hard to get started. As it feels like a bug and bug fixes are allowed, maybe consider adjusting it before the jam ends.
I persevered however, and found a really fun game! Sound managed to add and not get annoying even with repetition, graphics were very solid, and the mood... I definitely just had to stop and watch after a point at the sheer helplessness I felt. That's some good story telling!
Well there was a lot of trash all of the sudden XD. Good looking and fun game. The controlles were a bit annoying in the beginning but i got used to them after a while. Great entry. Got pretty laggy at the end .:-)
I really love this! Great interpretation of the theme, very different to other things I've seen. I've noticed you're rating a lot of games but don't have much karma - thought I'd mention that if you also leave comments when you rate, you'll get karma and your game will be pushed more :)
What a great idea! Nice graphics and audio. I had fun playing it - well done!
Nice game overall, it was a good idea to have outlines of different color and ability to throw items. The only thing I didn't like about it is the inevitability of lags. Too many rigidbodies...
Graphically, the game looks quite nice and the outlines are a nice way of showing where things go! The trash filling up definitely feels inevitable, although I wonder if it's almost TOO inevitable. The sounds fit well. The vibe and visuals remind me of WALL-E :)
The game looks amazing in terms of graphics. Sounds are also very nice. The game fits the For points to improve, I found the controls a bit difficult and there were some bugs with placing the items. Good job overall!
