LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Reversyphus by mactinite 2021-05-09T15:02:37Z

Really cute, nice sounds but could use some music. Pushing the gold feels smooth, but I wish you could walk normally by holding instead of having to press repeteadly. Really like what you did with the water puzzles.

Simple yet entertaining :)

Boundless Depths by ping78 2021-05-01T17:59:57Z

The graphics and lighting are really cool! Sometimes it feels a little weird that you can dig diagonally and it took us a while for us to find any cargo. The fuel and cargo bars could contrast a little more.

The concept of the game is nice and having to balance the fuel adds something to it. You have to find a balance between following your urge to keep digging and going back to the surface. It seems when you go straight down you don't use fuel, which I suppose could be seen as both a good and a bad thing. Impressed by the visuals, though!

Fun game and great job!

Debt Collector by thomz12 2021-05-01T18:21:29Z

Was excited to play this one! The race element makes things pretty interesting and having to choose between whether to get a better upgrade or "save" your money adds another layer on top. Kinda wish there were shortcuts for the upgrades so you don't have to stop clicking. Looks are cool and it's addicting. With more content or some kind of "campaign" mode, it could be even cooler! Sad to see some people cheat the leaderboard (?)

Overall a nice game with nice sounds and graphics :)

Blub blub Ottersub by Jordgubben 2021-05-09T14:53:10Z

The fish are indeed really cute!

Like some other comments have mentioned, it would be cool to have more feedback on actions and pictures taken. I was also kinda confused as to how to get to the eel. Would also be cute to get to "see" the picture as a little image when going back to the surface with a new fish! It's a fun concept, kinda like Pokemon Snap but underwater. Could be fun if developed further :)

Deep Bomb Galactic! by Gale-swift 2021-04-28T10:57:58Z

The game has that old-school browser game feel and cool sounds! It's satisfying to get chain reactions and even more so when clearing the whole screen.

It could just be me, but I find it a little hard to aim. Even if my mouse is in a precise spot, it feels like the bomb goes off at a slight offset. Maybe it's just that the hitboxes are a little bigger than they look.

I wish you could preview upgrades/bombs before buying them, but I really like that they are there and that there are so many to choose from!

Good job on your game!

LAYERS by Le Slo 2021-04-27T12:16:24Z

Love the graphics and sounds! The simple, clean Itch page fits the page very well.

Dig To The Core by pirate_pie_develops 2021-05-18T17:44:23Z

We'd have to agree that the first rounds are very short and although the controls are simple, it's not easy to understand how the game works at first.

The graphics and particles are nice and cohesive.

With some balancing (and perhaps some music), the game could be a lot of fun! :)

My Innermost Criminal by Chironyx 2021-04-27T17:36:51Z

We love love love the idea. It's so clever! Perhaps even worthy of a full game?

We encountered one (game breaking) bug in the first level with the light where after rewinding a couple of times we got stuck in rewind mode causing the game to pause indefinitely on death since we could no longer rewind.

Great work!

Crumbling Caves by Andreas Roschal 2021-04-30T11:25:03Z

The building really cool and UI is neat. I like the puzzle element that comes with the blueprints, but the drag and drop seems to have an offset which is distracting.

Music and sounds alright but I find the vocal parts can be confusing because they sound too much like what gameplay sounds usually sound like.

Art is nice and roll bug enemy really rekt me haha. Stats on loss are nice too. Good game overall and fits the theme well, great job guys!

Bunny Bunny Dig Dig by ZakAmana 2021-04-27T19:22:01Z

We really really like this game. How could you get it done in just 48 hours?!

Itch page and game art looks great, sounds are good and the gameplay is a lot of fun! Arrows/WASD work well for this game and feel good to use.

Drill by Laurari 2021-04-30T11:34:12Z

Neat game! The little "tutorial" in the main menu is a great way to test things out and get a quick idea of how the game works. Also fun that that's how the player interacts with the menu. Wish the drag hitbox was a little bigger, I found myself having to reclick the drill a fair amount. Glowing crystals and sounds are great!

I wonder if there are any secrets/easter eggs around, could be a fun thing to have if not :D

Abracatabra DBDBDeep by gamefive 2021-04-27T17:55:58Z

As soon as I saw that it was a potion mixing game, I was really excited to check it out. Fun concept and we like that the slimes change color!

It was a little hard to understand what the enemy slime was doing and we were confused by the attack speed numbers since we are used to attack speed being shown as attacks per second rather than time between attacks, but overall a cool experience.

Could be fun as a campaign :)

Into Debt by darqweful 2021-04-27T18:27:38Z

Was excited to try this one out. The guide is helpful and the theme is nice. We must admit we felt pretty guilty doing this stuff tho haha. The colors and sounds are nice. Something to consider could be adding "office" background noise to really add to that "call centre employee" vibe :D

It could be good to add a bit more feedback on some of the actions to help keep track of when something is done and what's going on.

STARPOON by RedSPINE 2021-04-27T07:04:35Z

I like that it keeps you thinking! Cute and clean graphics. Color swaps were neat to see too 😊

It lagged a little on my browser, in case you'd like to know.

Tato - Potato by Noel Widmer 2021-04-28T11:16:02Z

Didn't think I'd find someone who loves potatoes as much as me!

Clever take on the classic snake game, keep things interesting. Sounds are fun too.

Good job!

Didn't have time to try to get a higher score, so here is our highscore for now ;)chips.PNG

Bunny Box Breakout by BangKerpow 2021-04-28T12:46:10Z

Like the colorful graphics and the sound design, although I kinda missed some music. The tiles coming closer and closer really help create a sense of urgency. If you plan to keep working on it, adding combo counters and effects when erasing a lot of tiles at once could be fun

I wish the tiles would erase themselves a little faster though, especially when it's the consequence of the previous row of tiles clearing up. Neat little game. :)

Bubble Diving by Lymze 2021-05-09T15:09:17Z

SO SO CUTE! Really love the graphics and effects overall. The game seems simple, but it still has so much depth (hah)! Sounds are also good and I really like how the music changes as you go deeper, it's a nice touch that really adds to the mood. The game looks and feels polished and is fun to play, great job!

Could make a really awesome mobile game/campaign.

Edgar qui court by tugliffe 2021-05-09T15:19:03Z

Good sounds and cute game. The controls could use some polishing to really make the game feel tight. My best tip would be to allow the player to still jump when they have JUST gotten off a platform since it can be pretty hard/unintuitive to time the jumps right without sliding off platforms otherwise. Coffee was funny. :)

Descend by Toreole 2021-04-30T11:44:42Z

Really cute art and love the talking sounds. Controls are intuitive.

It's a little sad to think the little animals are dead. And they are going down... Like to the fiery flames? 😅

At first glance, the start of the dungeon doesn't really suggest that it's a special place, it looks like it could just be some tunnel or part of a castle. I think make it look more mystical/scary somehow would help set the scene. However, even though the game was short I found myself quickly bonding with the characters. Really like the overall style of the game. Could make for a neat adventure game/RPG!

I wonder what was beyond.

A Taste of the Past by Emily Pitcher 2021-04-27T07:20:40Z

When I first saw the game, I was excited to play what I assumed was a cute pasta game with lovely art, but what I was met with was a touching, deep narrative. The game looks and sounds great, and the story is touching (albeit I must say some dialogue in the beginning feels a little disconnected like when grandma is talking about something and Mei follows up with more laments about food).

In spite of all these great things, one of the things I like most about this experience is that it could resonate with someone going through something similar to what Mei is going too.

Great work, guys!

Random Deep by stipple3D 2021-05-18T17:51:01Z

Very interesting concept. It was fun to play around with. Throught the playthrough, we kinda missed having some kind of sounds. A little more "juice" in the form of both particles and sound effects would make the game even more interesting!

Creative use of randomness for sure, though!

Immersion by Nastya Safonova 2021-04-28T19:34:05Z

Interesting atmosphere. Love the sketches you posted. We kinda missed having some sounds in the WEB version, but appreciate the "deepness" of it ;)

Eva Power Plug Nap by Smelly Games 2021-04-28T11:07:53Z

A lot harder than it looks! I think part of the reason could be having to keep track of those 6 buttons. The bars also move quite big distances. Music ties everything in really well, though! Does Rei have their own story? :)

Bee Beesness by Anaxie Studio 2021-04-27T06:43:50Z

Thank you for all your feedback, bug reports and appreciation! Happy so many people enjoy it. We want to give the game some more love when we have the time.

Also, there is an official guide in the Itch community if you want a deeper understanding about what's going on 😊

Bee Beesness by Anaxie Studio 2021-04-27T09:45:19Z

@zolar yeah the theme is something that might seem a little abstract in the current version. Our idea is that the more you grow your hive, the deeper your queen can move into it (and the more space you get). The main missing feature is a guarding mechanic where sometimes enemy bees will try to kill your queen and steal your honey, so the deeper you go the more protected you are. ^-^

The queen and the hive does still move deeper, she just doesn't have much to hide from in this version :)

Bee Beesness by Anaxie Studio 2021-04-27T17:43:34Z

@woergbi Sadly we didn't have time to implement the enemy bees. We were planning to make it so when you have a bigger hive there is also the chance for a whole group or "army" of swarm bees to attack your hive and thus make the difficulty also scale somewhat. But right now it's just the winter.

We're glad you enjoyed it!

Bee Beesness by Anaxie Studio 2021-04-30T11:29:13Z

Thanks once again for your helpful comments everyone!

@laurari will definitely look at that, the bee names on HUD is something we are going to implement in the update 😊

@ping78 beery nice to hear!

Bee Beesness by Anaxie Studio 2021-05-02T12:00:02Z

@c4scar thanks. We are already working on some of those features for the post-jam version ;)

Bee Beesness by Anaxie Studio 2021-05-06T17:45:11Z

@tomssuli thanks for the great feedback! Some content was indeed left out due to time constraints, but we are working on putting some of it (and some of the things you and other comments also mentioned) into a separate update to make the game more complete! It should come out pretty soon :)

We are also finishing up our main project (called Mergiverse, info on Twitter), so Bee Beesness might not see more updates for a while until we are done with other projects, but it's definetenely something we might revisit more in the future! It's nice to see people like the concept.

Running Late by Andreia 2021-04-27T06:53:30Z

Could just be me, but I could fingure out how to pull out the phone! Haha. Cute game and nice sounds.

Into Conflict by C4Scar 2021-05-06T17:59:28Z

Interesting concept, we like the balance between reputation, rebels and invasion/expansion. We were a little confused in the beginning as to which color we were and what was generally going on, but we eventually caught on. The main "issue" was we didn't understand you had to click multiple times to invade. It could help to have the camera be centered on your nation when you start the game and add some more labels/tooltips.

It would make a fun online io game with some more polish. :)

Deep into the mines by zapdos2 2021-05-09T15:30:09Z

Great effort! We also learned a lot during this jam. If you want some feedback, a four-directional sprite would have made aiming easier. Perhaps an option to shoot with spacebar could have been nice too. I noticed this thing where sometimes the grid lines will show. I think it's some kinda Unity thing but no idea how to fix it. Hope to see more!

LD49 — Unstable

Stacks by ping78 2021-10-07T16:45:02Z

It was a little hard to click some of the items, but I like the funny item selection and the lighting. :)

Trailer Trials by thomz12 2021-10-10T07:41:59Z

I was surprised to see it runs so well on web! The graphics are nice and although I kinda missed having music, the rest of the sounds are nice too. I also appreciate the ability to go through levels and replay them as well as the unique setting (and of course the leaderboard). We made it to top 15 on the first level!

The only issue I had was that some times the parking spot seemed a little unpredictable and wouldn't accept my parking even though it seemed like it should (didn't always have the cleanest parkings tho :P). Great job!

Cthulhu goes to Work by battlecoder 2021-10-07T16:52:08Z

Epic art guys! I like the funny dialogue and the game feels solid.

Hang in There Until Meetings Are Over by junjunlowpoly 2021-10-10T07:52:22Z

I couldn't help but click once I saw the duck! It was fun to choose how to use energy and I like how many different conversations there are. Gaining a heart back after using none is a clever mechanic. Good job specially for only being made in 2 days! I wish I could talk to them all!

Overclocked by Coda Highland 2021-10-07T17:17:46Z

I like the little bit of story put into it and the creative setting. I struggled to understand what the goal of the defrag puzzles was at first, until I noticed the little lines. The heat mechanic is interesting, although some times standing still doesn't seem to stop it from rising. Appreciate having puzzles mixed in with the rest of the gameplay, though :)

ALCHEMY unsTABLE by kpded 2021-10-13T11:48:35Z

I never get tired of potion games! The art is really cute and so is the little cat! I like the idea of moving potions with magic, and the game is challenging in a nice way. I also really love the sound design. It seems the menu buttons can only be used with the keyboard (?), but I wish one could also use the mouse. The brief tutorial did a good job in my opinion.

All in all, it's a really charming game! The alchemist should probably do some remodeling tho, hehe. It'd be interesting to see something like this as a full game.

ALCHEMY unsTABLE by kpded 2021-10-13T16:20:48Z

@kpded Perhaps you'd have to build, upgrade and manage your own shop? Or become increasingly famous, having to work in more and more well-known places? :)

Ciftlik Bar by gord10ahmet 2021-10-05T11:57:40Z

Saw you on Twitter! Neat game, the voices made us chuckle and it was a fun experience. It was a little hard to keep track of who had been waiting the longest. Our first high-score was 74$

Cheers :)

Atomic Decay by Zahab_AQ 2021-10-05T12:04:51Z

Cute game! It was entertaining. Our high-score was 610. All it's missing is some more sounds and polish :)

Good job!

Fellowship Manager by Honest Dan 2021-10-13T18:33:44Z

Wow, as others have said, so much done in so little time!

Solar Colonies by Fenderbate 2021-10-05T08:03:13Z

Looks really neat and plays well too! The effects for placing things down are cool. We loved seeing the little details like grass growing after a while. The only thing is that the music was really faint and the people can be a little hard to click. By the way, there is a typo on your LD page title

Great job guys!

Unstables by joonamo 2021-10-07T16:38:08Z

Omg so cute! Charming work, guys :)

Cloudfall by Diego Escalante 2021-10-10T07:21:53Z

Neat little project! Reminds me of a moodier version of Ice Cream Jump. I like the effects you put it, they really help to add that little bit of extra polish and spice. Could also be called "Crowfall" hehe :)

Dungeon Mage by The-Vecter 2021-10-10T09:53:07Z

I like the little intro sequence, the character's wiggles and the sound design! The enemy numbers amp up a little too quickly in my opinion, specially for earlier levels, making it hard to collect enough for the upgrades (although it does get easier after playing a couple of times), but the game is a ton of fun and feels good to play! Good job :)

Louis The Scientist by Maxime Cyr 2021-10-05T16:40:52Z

Harambe!

Really cute graphics. I've always liked potion-mixing games  The option to skip the intro is also nice. The narration was funny and wholesome. Good job guys!

SkyTris by Domin77 2021-10-10T08:05:27Z

Cool game, wished sometimes, that it was a little more precise.

Place Called Home by Kora0h 2021-10-07T17:03:26Z

The piano sounds and music are neat! It was a little hard to understand exactly what to do at first, but the tutorial helped answer some questions. I could imagine a game like this being pretty cool when developed further!

ECOLLAPSE 2030: the world is ending and also you are a penguin by cyndrdev 2021-10-05T15:13:56Z

You guys are hilarious!

The game is simple but nice. We made it to top 5 in the first level! We also think it's nice to bring awareness to a serious topic like our climate. The sound and music is also great.

Cool stuff guys! :penguin: :snowflake:

Atomic Rock Paper Scissors by lucasvb 2021-10-10T07:30:05Z

Really cool unique concept! The game is easy to understand and adds a neat spin on both rock-paper-scissors and match three games and the music is very atmospheric. The updates you've shown look really neat too. Good job!

A day in a life of an electric spaceship owner by spacecadet 2021-10-10T07:39:35Z

Very cool entry. The sounds were charming and the art style very cute. It did take me a little bit to figure everything out but after a few tries I was able to beat the game. Overall a very nice game :)

Danub: Potion Packer by Vaulkhar Alexis 2021-10-05T17:05:58Z

The graphics are so good! We agree that it was a little overwhelming at first and it took a while to figure out where everything was and how to use it. We got a lot of mmmhing in our playthrough. Love all the little details and Amazon references, though!

Llamas on Log by Joshua Jebadurai 2021-10-05T11:37:27Z

One of the cutest things I've seen all day! Beautiful logo and pretty art. The gameplay loop is very simple but really pulls you in once you get into it!

On another note, I think we encountered the same bug as @matt-heinrich

Keep up the good work guys :)

Spellkeepers: Mage Brigade by Anaxie Studio 2021-10-05T06:47:08Z

@tiar oops, the page should be working now, thanks for the heads up! The links are listed right here under "downloads and links" is that what you meant?

Spellkeepers: Mage Brigade by Anaxie Studio 2021-10-05T09:47:46Z

Thanks for trying it out, guys!

@yotamco what browser are you using? We noticed it doesn't run well on Chrome, but Firefox runs well for both of us :) Otherwise you can also try a downloaded version (windows or linux).

Spellkeepers: Mage Brigade by Anaxie Studio 2021-10-05T11:38:37Z

@yotamco happy to hear you're giving it another shot! :D

Spellkeepers: Mage Brigade by Anaxie Studio 2021-10-05T14:41:21Z

@ayced thanks for your comment. All of those features (and a couple more) were planned hehe, sadly we didn't have time to implement any of them.

@strictpeak thanks! Names were a lot of fun to add ^^

Spellkeepers: Mage Brigade by Anaxie Studio 2021-10-05T18:17:20Z

Thank you for your comments! It is indeed on the easy side. :)

Spellkeepers: Mage Brigade by Anaxie Studio 2021-10-06T06:47:57Z

Thanks for your kind words everyone!

@joonamo :laughing:

@mspawa you’re right, we were planning to use the other paths too but ended up prioritizing other things and completely forgot to put indicators on the path used!

Spellkeepers: Mage Brigade by Anaxie Studio 2021-10-10T19:24:41Z

Thanks for the report @mrarc! We're not sure why that it, but it might have something to do with it being Chrome (Chrome is giving us issues with this project too, but other browsers like Firefox work) or potentially with it being a Mac.

Radio Inactive by Edoardo Talamini 2021-10-05T11:51:04Z

The art is really cute and it's a pretty creative concept. It felt like playing Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes haha. The added challenge from the scrambled instructions were also cool. Some background music or a fitting ambience would make the experience even more immersive. BOOM!

The difficult life of a newborn planet by Saltysa 2021-10-05T16:54:28Z

So pretty! It gets pretty challenging after a while. We were sad to watch our cute little planet go.

Keep it up guys!

Genomancer by Noctiphobia 2021-10-19T16:38:56Z

Really interesting concept and it's fun to see another "wave survival" game! I like the amount of combinations, although I'm not sure I understood how to swap between abilities (or whether they are all active at once). The graphics and (specially) the music are also neat. Good work, very creative!

Missed Spelling by Gryhyphen 2021-10-05T11:30:18Z

We like the concept, it's funny and quite innovative. We also like that you have to make a whole sentence. However, we find the shielding mechanic a little unintuitive since you have to block out the letters you DON'T want instead of choosing the ones you do want, and my brain wants to do the opposite. Apart from that it feels like sometimes letters reach the middle but don't count for the word, but maybe that's on me  The sound design is also pretty neat, though!

Unstable: Search & Rescue by StrictPeak 2021-10-05T14:45:04Z

Dang, when we first saw the screenshots, it looked like an old-school game 5 years in development haha. Nice HUD!

Paper Work by elbowGeese 2021-10-13T11:56:09Z

Love the mood! The overall loop and aesthetics reminds me of those web-based games back in the day with similar premises. I also like the graphics and all the different stages of making an airplane. The unfolded image on the second click is easy to mistake for an unfolded piece of paper though, perhaps a slight tilt would help with that?

Overall a neat little game! My score seems to end up in the negatives a lot, though hehe.

GLITCH by Yotamco 2021-10-05T11:44:26Z

Funny idea! I wasn't expecting the voice acting and the mechanics were entertaining. Sounds were cool too, only thing missing is some music!

WildGuess by Rashid 2021-10-05T15:00:47Z

Really neat game! The art and atmosphere is good and we like the characters' different personalities. One thing that we would have liked to see is a bit more user feedback, for example buttons lighting up to show they are being clicked or hovered.

(Spoilers ahead) It was a bit hard to see what the right choice was. Siding with the wife in the Wilson family leads to a loss, which implies that the right path (which MUST be taken) is to stop her from going outside and enjoying her hobbies which sounds rather morally dubious. (Perhaps this is on purpose?)

The voices and sounds are a nice touch. We also like the spin on the theme.

Cool project, guys!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Seven Seconds to Midnight by HitchH1k3r 2022-04-20T16:33:14Z

I don't think I fully get how the game is meant to be played, but I think the programmable automatas are super cool! The music and visuals are also pretty neat. Some kind of subtle introductory level at the beginning would probably help quite a bit. As for the questions you asked, I think a tinkerers character would make sense since you thinker a lot with the automatas but (as far as I've seen) there isn't really a lot of magic or spell casting going on. Really neat game overall, I can see a lot of work went into it! Keep it up guys :)

Decisive Battle by Erkberg 2022-04-06T20:49:54Z

I love the combat system! It reminds me a little of For Honor. I wasn't sure which actions dodge which attacks, but I still managed to get through to the end. I also love the atmosphere and the music adds to that. A post jam version would be even cooler! Your YouTube channel has some neat content too. Wish you a nice week!

Shotgun King: the Final Checkmate by benjamin 2022-04-07T14:51:53Z

Really creative concept! I liked it a lot although in my first game I didn't understand that you can shoot from a distance so I didn't know how to beat the king xD Really good job!

Shoal by Kerdelos 2022-04-05T19:08:04Z

I'm a little fish! A bunch of little fish! I love the art style and atmosphere. The sounds are a nice touch. Sometimes the game stopped scrolling, but I'm not sure if that's intended or not. I enjoyed it overall, good job guys!

Don't protest me! by KuKuRammus 2022-04-05T13:26:48Z

The graphics and layout remind me of Papers Please. The choices are really cool, and I like how the concept is so simple but still has depth! The mood and audio are great too, the sounds and effects when the protests get really large are a nice touch. Great job!

One More Song! by hadesfury 2022-04-08T06:43:48Z

Very pretty, I love the visuals! The game itself was engaging and I like the puzzle element. I must say some of the choices took me a while to find and Jesse is pretty well-hidden behind that drum, but overall I liked it! High quality entry! Music and writing are nice too. More branches would be cool!

Love Finds A Way by Dining Philosopher 2022-04-07T08:19:19Z

Pretty mean to delay love, haha! I missed having a little bit of music, but the sound effects are charming, and I like the strategy element. As usual with leaderboards it's tempting to try to get the best scores. Unique idea and neat execution!

Pipes of Goo by Yngvarr 2022-04-06T12:04:34Z

Cute! I agree it was unclear which way the goo would move while crossing through crosses and when it would turn into water, but it was a lot of fun to play! Simple but engaging.

My highscore is 2400

Dungeon Escape by mar3k 2022-04-08T13:49:34Z

I think the idea is very innovative, it was cool to run away from the boss. The game was fun playing, there is just one little thing that I didn't like, which is that I felt like the music kinda didn't fit with running away from the reaper, it was too chill / cheerful almost. Great game though!

Loyal Prisoner by RalfZ 2022-04-11T12:58:36Z

Quite the funny angle, I don't think I've ever played a game about staying MORE time in jail haha. At first I thought the dude in the second room was me, so it took me a couple days to realize it was another inmate.

Could have been fun to have more things to do or more opportunities for mischief apart from just fighting, like maybe vandalizing or trying to break out (and failing and thus getting an even longer sentence ). Even something like "situations" happening randomly and making the player make a choice about how to act could have been cool, but I get that more content takes more time.

I like the music and the UI (that song is catchy!). The art is decent too. My best was a little over 40 days. Good job!

Post Solis by Nikolay Zapolnov 2022-04-06T12:35:20Z

Game looks neat! I appreciate the nice guides, although it was a lot to read. I like the variety of things you can find and the little notes. It felt like there were plenty of things to do and manage. The graphics are nice, although the trees seem a little small in comparison to everything else, Speed options are nice too. You guys got a lot done in little time, good job!

Overworked & Underpaid by Chartle 2022-04-05T18:38:33Z

Cool style and really hectic gameplay! The sound design is also lovely. The only thing I was missing was more feedback when picking up an item to make it clear it really has been picked up and *maybe* clearer icons for what is what since it gets so stressful. Nice game and good job overall!

Sheep Heard by ChrisAntem 2022-04-20T17:05:12Z

Really creative gameplay! I love that it's "sound" based and also the stepping dood. The sheep rolling around is probably the cutest thing I've seen all day! The songs were good, although I think the first one is my favorite. The third one was a bit louder than the other ones. Occasionally, I feel like the dog would be running and barking right next to a wolf but the wolf would just keep going. Overall, I really like this entry! I'd love to see more from you guys :relaxed:

Baking Simulator 2022 by Sarah 2022-04-07T08:00:30Z

Hi! I like the humor and loved grabbing eggs with spoons  I wish you could move the recipes around to interact with things behind without having to close them, but thankfully they're not really in the way too much.

I like that the colors actually mix together in the batter and the looking glass is also nice touch. Little details like those can add a lot :relaxed: The experience overall did remind me of real baking (albeit probably with nicer results x.x). Overall a pleasant entry!

Sorcery's End by James Dunlap 2022-04-11T13:33:56Z

Yay another tower defense!

I'm on wave 13 as I write this. I actually thought the mines were literal money mines at first, so I was confused when they went boom  "Money mines" could be a nice addition since then you also have to balance economy vs defenses. I would have liked to see more info about the towers in the form of tooltips or something else to know how they're different from each other. The randomly generated maps are neat and I like how organic things feel. The graphics are nice too. Towers getting destroyed sometimes helps keep things going. I just wish the game could be played in full screen. Neat game!

MOTH by Beefsock 2022-04-05T19:41:25Z

I liked it a lot, the atmosphere was great!

My happy weedy farm by Marin0104 2022-04-05T09:33:31Z

Really cute game! I like the choice controls. It was a little hard at first to get the character to do the right action since all actions share a button, but I got a little better at it after a while. The one thing I miss is some kind of score counter to keep track of how well I'm doing (if there was one I must have missed it), but overall a cute little game.

As much as I love the graphics, I agree with @0x-void-x0 avoid the graphics vote, though (and any other categories that may not apply).

Brickroll by adrianafitz 2022-04-21T15:08:02Z

Such a cool idea, and I love the execution! It feels retro but like it got it's own kind of vibe at the same time. I love the sounds and animations, and the game is surprisingly challenging. The way the walls become powerups is quite clever. There are so many small but interesting mechanics. I would maybe speed up the "brick wall transitions" a tiny bit. Overall a great entry! My highscore so far is 02:26.

BLACKSUN by Davide Rossetto 2022-04-05T12:21:28Z

Love the overall mood and aesthetics! The gameplay is quite interesting and not what I had expected (which is not a bad thing). I like how the statues slowly lose their color to show how long they have left, really neat way to do interface.

I put all 5 people on the scholar and it took me way too long to realize that it wasn't doing anything because I didn't have a gem for each person, lol. I made it to 450 days.

Routine Medical Examination by Iamsodarncool 2022-04-06T13:53:16Z

Lmao the voice acting

The whole time I thought she was saying "dog", which made it even better. Subtitles would have been nice for people who can't have sound on etc. Wasn't expecting a puzzle game, but the puzzles are neat and I like the tileset and camera effects. The music fits nicely too. Sadly, I too got stuck on the rope level, wish there was a way to retry a level.

Overall a nice entry, guys

Mia's Bear Service by Lumous 2022-04-06T09:10:28Z

Cute! I love the little references like the Mario stuff. The intro cutscene was neat too. Some items were a little hard to see at times. It was also a little hard to notice how much time each completed bear gives, and maybe they could give a little more. Good choice of music and sounds.

Soak 'Em Out by Cruise Elroy 2022-04-05T18:31:42Z

Beautifully retro and so cute! I like how cohesive all the elements are.

Stopping Karen by Fis 2022-04-17T15:12:36Z

I looove the buildings and UI. The concept is simple but well executed and the funny sounds and signs really add to the experience. The leaderboard is a great addition and adds replayability. I played the original jam version, but I can see how adding a speed-up mode is great. It feels like the strategy is quite similar for every level though, put the tags next to the party so she has to walk back and forth all the way.

Cute and fun, good job guys!

Will There Bee Another? by Gabriel Dias Oliveira de Almeida 2022-04-05T19:27:14Z

The text boxes seemed really familiar, and then I realized... It's RPGMaker isn't it? Really unexpected use! I really love the graphics and the vibrant colors. The concept itself is also quite creative and I like how it fits the theme. The routes are nice too. Cool game!

fireme.club by velvetlobster 2022-04-08T13:47:49Z

Love the art style, and the music is sick! It's really cool to be able to face other players and I've seen some familiar faces around :)

It was a little hard to understand at first, but apart from that it's a neat concept. It looks professional and I'm impressed by the amount of content. Cards are funny too. Great job, guys!

Sickly Victorian Boy by CSdoesCS 2022-04-06T14:53:13Z

The art style is really nice and the mood is achieved very well. It plays very fluently, although I think sometimes it was hard to know what he actually wants, andd the pond minigame is a little too hard (or maybe I just didn't get it :D ).

Dating under the Comet by Joscco 2022-04-06T13:22:21Z

I looove the visuals and colors! The scene transitions are nice too. The dating/breeding mechanics are a neat twist, and the tutorial in the beginning was well presented and quick to get through. The action messages are hilarious too. During my third life I got a potential match to a full bar but it didn't count as a match even after trying more interactions, which led to me losing.

Overall I love the uniqueness and style of it, great job. I'd love to see more from you guys!

Unhoarded by Andreas Roschal 2022-04-08T07:01:21Z

Love your Itch/LD pages! The game itself looks nice too, and the enemy descriptions are pretty funny. I was really expecting I'd get to be a guy running around, but got a nice surprise instead.

I love the selection of skills, it's perfect! The knight indicators and loot sounds are a godsent. The only thing I missed was a better indicator or whether you could afford a skill or not so you don't waste time shuffling between them or take your eyes off the action. Really neat entry and a lot of fun!

Eggspiration Date by Nash 2022-04-08T14:11:59Z

Really cute game, the atmosphere was really nice and very calming. Even though I didn't get the egg on the stone structure, it was very fun to get all the (other) eggs, good job :)

Different Strokes by Scott Steffes 2022-04-06T08:03:28Z

Wow! I love the mood and the art! Very creative idea and original take on the theme. It's so cool to be able to interact with others through art. The sound design is nice too. Really inspiring project, overall.

Helly Belly by lootgrounds 2022-04-06T12:21:00Z

The color themes are a nice touch! I really like the game overall, it's addictive and fun to play. The graphics are neat and the difficulty curve feels good too. I really like the effect when grabbing a powerup. I got to 210.41 before I accidentally killed myself, whoops! The whole experience felt pretty polished. Nice job!

Dancing Trees by Ixio 2022-04-17T08:06:30Z

I love the lighthearted and funny plot as well as the little references here and there :relaxed:

I'm not sure how the placing works, but more often than not, campfires ended up pretty far away from where I was actually clicking, which made it harder to delay the seacomers effectively. I also wish there was replay button. Apart from that, it's quite a pleasant experience.

My best was 53. Keep it up, Godot friends!

Your Regime by deniskazantsev 2022-04-17T15:28:07Z

Love the theme and the gameplay overall! I wish there were tooltips or descriptions explaining what each option means a bit more, but I like the amount of choices. It feels like a lot of content for a compo game! The sounds are good too. I could see this working as a bigger game. Good job!

Miss Bunny & Mr le Sheep by Garymarance 2022-04-06T09:40:23Z

I really liked your game! It was hard to choose and in the end it was sad to let one of them go. It really reminds you that nothing is forever, but that new things come and good things can happen even after someone dies. Good job to the whole team!

Faces of the Beast by stamestratagem 2022-04-06T21:02:16Z

I love love love the aesthetics! The art is so simple but looks so slick and unique. The music synced up with my clicks and it was really cool. I also love your choice of faces and the little references. Global leaderboards would indeed be cool. Liked it overall!

They Are Coming by PeaNud 2022-04-08T13:26:21Z

I saw this game on stream a couple days ago. It's soo pretty! The atmosphere feels polished, especially considering this was made in so little time. The shooting felt good and it's better now with the clearer hit indicators. I usually had to walk over/around powerups a couple times, so I would suggest making their hitboxes slightly bigger so they're easier to pick up while running away from enemies. The mouse sensitivity slider is a nice addition, and the music and sounds are also pleasant. I don't want to imagine what you could create with more time lol. Or maybe I do, it'd probably be pretty awesome. Good job guys, all in all the game is neat! I made it to wave 4.

Tabby Turmoil by tetrapteryx 2022-04-07T07:32:24Z

Cute kitties are inevitable! The art and animations are so, so cute and the music and sounds are fitting. I wish the kitties' hitboxes were a little bigger to make it easier to target them while they are running around and maybe a clearer end score, but all in all adorable!

Heal me, please! by Andrey_Zhukov 2022-04-05T11:40:28Z

I really like the concept and the art is just gorgeous! Overall pretty fun, I enjoyed figuring out all the recipes. I could imagine this as a bigger visual novel/mixing mix game like Coffee Talk. :relaxed:

Heal me, please! by Andrey_Zhukov 2022-04-05T12:01:48Z

@Andrey_Zhukov I cured 7 before writing down my thoughts!

Extremely Exteme Sports by kuviman 2022-04-17T15:35:54Z

Love the online multiplayer! There seems to be a bug where people can stand/get stuck on the start line and always count as winning with 0. I'm not good at the game, but it's neat regardless!

Populus Romanus by Bauke Regnerus 2022-04-06T07:35:25Z

Love the art (especially the buildings) and I really like this concept. I've been quite intrigued by balancing games like this one lately. The sounds and UI are pleasant too. I would love to see this developed further!

Good job!

T Knight againts the Hydra by Becher 2022-04-10T11:46:27Z

The graphics are great, and I love the paper aesthetic! The tutorial was well-integrated and quick and the cute hydra is the perfect enemy for the theme! The game feels polished, especially for being made in so little time! The only thing missing is an indicator to show when your attacks connect with enemies. I'd also suggest making it so touching a head while it's "resting" after attacking doesn't count as getting hit, as I probably lost most of my lives getting close enough to the heads to hit them while they're done.

Good job overall!

JUNKER by BackwardsCap 2022-04-09T19:43:32Z

It felt like Among Us on steroids, haha! I like the little puzzles and the sound design is interesting. I think sounds becoming louder or fading away depending on distance adds a lot. The indicators to help you navigate really help. Pedal bike was a funny touch

Good job!

I Know What You Did Last Ludum Dare! by TentacleMax 2022-04-05T13:43:26Z

The characters are so cute! Interesting concept and nice mood. It was pretty hard to keep everyone alive, but that's part of the challenge! The one thing that bothered me was that the characters were a little hard to select at times, but cool game overall. I like the name, lol.

Last Bastion by sansman01 2022-04-06T12:58:48Z

Cool concept guys! I like that you get to be part of the action and kill enemies yourself. The portals are a good way of getting around quickly. The graphics and animations were cute, and I liked the sounds as well. I'd say things got a little too hard a little too fast, and it was hard to get close enough to turrets to upgrade them which made me fall further behind. I wish the gates were fixable (if they are I must have missed it, I leveled them up a bit but the door didn't come back), I like that you can upgrade several levels at a time, though. The different towers were also nice. Cool game, and good job!

Computer Scientist Training Lab by YellowKamel 2022-04-05T15:00:27Z

Hi, thanks for the stream earlier, it was fun!

I played your game and I love the concept! You don't see "programmy" games like this often and there were a lot of different neat little elements and obstacles. It felt like playing snake with an added stressor on top. I'm quite comfortable typing on my keyboard, but playing this gave me anxiety about making typos lol. I also love the dialogue and sounds. I found myself wanting to press space or right click instead of enter to progress the dialogue, but apart from that I got nothing else to comment on. Good job!

Walterfall by Ulisses 2022-04-05T12:53:10Z

Simple and neat. The umbrellas are a nice touch. I really like the controls, although I think it might have played a little better if it was portrait mode instead of landscape since that way you'd have more space to see stuff coming towards you. Nevertheless, it was actually quite addictive.

I made it past 5000!

Battery Low by Milestone Games 2022-04-05T14:47:13Z

Looks gorgeous and there is so much polish in there! The engine sounds, the tracks, the movement speeding up... The UI is really nice too. I really like it overall. Great job, guys!

Stickman Dam by Sawyer 2022-04-06T13:43:21Z

Simple but neat concept! I was a bit concerned about being able to find the leaks in time since there is no map, but the water particles help lead you to the right place. I like the upgrades, just wish there was a way of keeping track of score.

Nice job, and nice to see you try out game jams, it's a lot of fun!

Rifthoppers by Kimberly 2022-04-09T20:30:15Z

I really really like being able to mix elements together to customize my weapon. That's probably one of, if not my favorite part of the game. The music and visuals are also good. There's already some juice in this game and there is potential to make it even juicier. Bear's roar goes well with the ranged weapon.

I would imagine some kind of story based campaign that show off the characters' personalities and play through different maps with more and more obstacles could be pretty fun together with the "arcade mode". I could also see people sinking a ton of time into the game to get into leaderboards. Co-op would also be fun.

Some people like hunting for achievements in repayable games like these, so that could add to the list of "things to do". I think some kind of progression would also be important. Best of luck with the project! Would be cool to see it on Steam someday

Almost successful operation by DanilShekarev 2022-04-05T19:09:28Z

I really liked the concept, especially that you are able to also use the walking people for energy source in a pinch! I really liked the first music I got (the horror one), it fit the mood well. The swap to another, more funkier soundtrack caught me a little off guard  I also had issues with going through doorways sometimes, apart from that the movement felt nice.

We Need To Talk by Doot 2022-04-08T07:11:57Z

This game looks so good! I love that you turned it into a "fighting game" and the humor in it haha. I'd say it was a little hard to read all the answers since time's ticking, but it was fun nonetheless. Best of all, was **(spoilers ahead)** the wholesome ending. Good job, guys!

Sky Shepherd by Teto 2022-04-20T20:14:42Z

Really interesting concept! It's a twist on "Tetris" that I haven't seen before. The music is great. I heard there are secrets, but sadly I don't think I found any unless they're very subtle*. Cool stuff overall!

*Edit: Apart from the king sheep if that counts :eyes:

Cosmic Contact by Kemsou 2022-04-05T11:59:42Z

Great use of assets!

DOWN the DUNGEON by renrok 2022-04-10T15:26:02Z

Really cool game. It was fun to play although I think that the monsters were a little too tanky. The music was very fitting, but more sound effects could have been nice.

FreeFall by aaron1_cabj 2022-04-07T08:29:26Z

Really artsy! I love the intro and that the background changes over time. The controls felt a little slippery, and although it reminds me of wind, I feel it might feel better to play with slightly less slipper movements. I think I would also have liked the difficulty scaling to be a little faster. The art combined with the music feel really high quality. Solid entry overall!

Unknowable by Briibot 2022-04-05T19:01:57Z

I love the art and the sounds and music are nice too! I found the gameplay a little confusing, would have liked some more info/instructions. Really like the little note and interactables too. I wonder what the story behind the main character is.

Good job guys!

Operation: Cable Jumper by Mr.KitKat 2022-04-06T15:00:16Z

Good job! The game was a lot of fun and felt pretty exciting! Could have maybe been a little harder towards the end.

Colony Defender by Henrik Ganard 2022-04-06T11:51:14Z

I like the scale of things and it feels really nice and 3D. Settings menu is appreciated. A little mini map or way to keep track of both your pods and your base would come in handy. Good job, guys, I think it has potential!

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-10T15:25:54Z

Graphically, the game looks quite nice and the outlines are a nice way of showing where things go! The trash filling up definitely feels inevitable, although I wonder if it's almost TOO inevitable. The sounds fit well. The vibe and visuals remind me of WALL-E :)

Cursed Ronin by Kaljal 2022-04-05T18:29:57Z

I really liked the idea of the cursed blade, I think it fits the theme perfectly. The jumping felt nice, but I think the player shouldn't be able to "push" enemies around. As other comments noted I also think the attack should be a lot faster.

Extreme Plant Sitter by suvi 2022-04-09T19:05:50Z

An accurate representation of why I can't seem to keep plants alive. Art style is great! The sounds are clean and impactful. The levels and menus feel really polished, and I like the silly plant physics lol. The gameplay was fun, although I felt like moving the watering can around was a bit clunky, it got "stuck" in the sink sometimes and other times I had to click it multiple times to pick it up. Overall a really polished and pleasant game to play! Only thing missing is some music.

OSTRO by Totteri 2022-04-09T19:20:29Z

I like the story and presentation! I missed having some kind of sound, music or atmosphere during the intro, but apart from that the choice of sounds is good. You've really managed to capture the atmosphere with the visuals and sounds. I got stuck pretty quickly, but maybe it's just me being dumb today, lol. The only thing I missed gameplay-wise was being able to copy paste. Good jobs guys, keep it up!

Sapper Master by yusovv 2022-04-06T12:11:34Z

Your pages and images are gorgeous! I was a little bit confused about what was going on at first but I think I understood. I like the simplicity of it, but I found it to be a little bit too easy. Good job nonetheless, and again lovely promo images!

The dialogue is nice too. Really funny and chaotic.

Somnipathy by Cyzaine 2022-04-07T08:09:59Z

Cool art style and really neat portraits/text boxes. I always enjoy a game with a leaderboard, although I don't seem to be too good at this one. I like there are a lot of rooms to explore. I think more in-game music would have added to the spooky atmosphere. Good job, Godot friends!

Take the exam by Zef1r 2022-04-07T14:36:51Z

I liked this game, it's an interesting concept that I haven't seen like this before. Somehow I felt like I was doing worse after getting the gym bonus xD It's very casual so it would probably make a great mobile game on the go! Good job over all

The Railroad to Elsewhere by Save Sloth Studios 2022-04-05T18:51:14Z

Love the art style and animations! Although it wasn't very long, It almost felt more like a full game than a jam entry :o

I love the little minigames and the sound design was nice and unobtrusive. I feel like there is more to the story than I can figure out with my sleep deprived brain. Could I get a hint?

Great job overall!

Future me problem by noskro 2022-04-05T11:51:48Z

Relatable

The descriptions and dialogues are hilarious. I like that you get to take your time stacking and restacking the items before moving on to the next day. Different items having different sounds is also a nice touch.

The only issue I had was that sometimes items seemed to get a little stuck when dragging them down from the table, but it's no big deal at all :)

Here is my glorious stack!

my stack.PNG

Ps. Managed to snatch the high score ;)

Foundations by 0x746564 2022-04-11T13:08:45Z

I like it, although I struggle to see the connection to the theme. I had never tried this variant of solitaire. The game seems pretty complete, so I wouldn't be surprised if people started playing this regularly :)

Subtle sounds could be a nice addition.

Catocalypse by Neshtyak 2022-04-05T13:09:48Z

Wow, your thumbnails are gorgeous! The little cats are so cute it makes me wish I had more, but the gameplay quickly reminds me of why that wouldn't necessarily be a good idea lol. A little bit more polish would make it even better. Straight-forward and very frantic. Nice job, guys!

@pickyburrito49 We wanted something really quick and simple for the dialogue (ironic, since the story became such a big part of the game lol) so my programmer partner quickly put a dialogue system together using an array of arrays with commands/keywords for different deities so I (designer/artist/writer) could easily put the story in while he coded other features.

@kimberly Thank you for you feedback and kind words! You bring up some good points, some of which we've also been discussing internally. As for the maps, the plan right now is to indeed make them bigger by default (and maybe have a few that are smaller/more zoomed in on purpose). We might add the option to zoom in on bigger maps as well.

@fae-pdf Hey, fellow Artemis lover! Wow, wave 200 is probably top 3 high-score wise (if not first). Thanks for the feedback! We've also noticed that there are not a lot of incentives for using multiple characters at the same time as just plopping a bunch of small ones down is also a viable strategy. Definitely something we need to think about (still haven't come up with a solution, though, so suggestions are welcome!). Thanks for playing, and we're happy you enjoyed it!

@angiemon Thanks for all the good feedback and suggestions! We'll definitely be keeping those things in mind.

@teto Woah, thanks for your detailed feedback and kind words! It's great to hear you enjoyed it :relaxed: There are two of us, the programmer and me, who does story and art. The music and sounds weren't made by us.

A seagull outside started screaming in a laugh-like manner as we read the part about the multiplying seagulls, haha! It is indeed intended, although we will probably change it so the rats do it instead since that would make more sense (and give a bit more of a warning). The trick with them is to have units near the start to kill them early so they don't get to become a huge flock.

We're sorry about the wolves at the end, I was able to beat them during playtesting, but it seems a lot of people got stuck on them. We're taking notes on everyone's feedback. Thanks again!

Bird Dream by FuzzyDunlop 2022-04-05T18:56:21Z

I liked the game. The music was very calming, which made me very upset at the alarm  The part when you lose control reminded me of those old flash games where you had to shoot something and then "control" it to reach as far as possible and it would just bounce everywhere

Cup Half Full by BangTheWall 2022-04-11T13:43:42Z

Very frantic! A nice spin on Tetris. Although I get the game is meant to be chaotic, I would have liked a little more control over the pieces while holding them to make them easier to position however. Apart from that, I don't really have anything else to point out. I like the leaderboards! Congrats on your release.

HANG UP! by Jesse J. Jones 2022-04-13T16:28:04Z

Although I saw you made a new version, I chose to try out the original jam release. I'll try to keep in mind some things have already been tweaked.

The visual style is great, and I love how you made the start button typeable, lol. However, my favorite thing has to be the sound design. It's excellent! The music, the sound effects, the little voice snippets and especially the "letter sounds".

I agree a word mode could be fun, you could even take it further and do short comedic dialogues. Really fun and polished game overall, a full version would be neat! Great job guys, probably one of my favorite entries this jam

155 Hitmen by somestufz 2022-04-20T16:41:28Z

Simple game but good concept! I like the option of building boxes, it feels a refreshing twist to a familiar formula. Although it makes sense, I'm not sure how I feel about your own bullets also damaging the target. It feels a bit like a hassle since it makes it even harder to shoot the other hitmen and the game already seems hard enough as it is. In fact, it might even be a bit too hard as it is right now even with the build mechanic. As others have said, more visual feedback would make the game even better. Good job!

Knighthood by SMdG 2022-04-10T11:53:33Z

Cute graphics that go well with the retro/pixel sounds (although some sounds were a little loud). I like the choice of weapon too. The difficulty scaling seemed good too. The main thing I would add is more feedback to see when an enemy is taking damage. Good job!

Bitboy by Proxy-Games 2022-04-14T10:00:29Z

The story and execution are really really cool! The controls and gameplay are nice and simple, and I like the subtle mix of 2D and 3D, but what really carries it through is the story and it's delivery. I also like the cool intro and some of the filters/shaders. The sound design is pretty great too. Quite the creative entry, keep up the good work!

The Ultimate Martian Roulette by HaaYaargh 2022-04-07T07:46:31Z

Been wanting to try out this one ever since I saw it on stream! Wasn't expecting the neat voice acting paired with subtitles and everything :o

I wish there had been a little more instructions, but I understood what to do pretty fast.

There were so many different funny things! The dialogue, the little facial expressions, the scribbles on the table... lol. Imagine playing this online with other people, it'd be great! I love being able to look around. Got to day 3 on my first try. Really fun game with a cool concept.

Elder Rang by OllieOA 2022-04-05T13:52:37Z

Absolutely hilarious! The dialogues are genius and sound effects are nice. My favorite thing has to be the end-game screen  Gave me quite a laugh. Great job!

Timebound by zSharpFire 2022-04-05T15:26:24Z

I like that you can choose between multiple weapons. I assumed the loot boxes were walls at first and avoided them, lol. Very glowy and frantic. The screen shake is a nice touch.

Let's Do Alien Taxes! by BurnsDesigns 2022-04-06T11:31:02Z

Love the immersive design on the itch page and (since apparently I'm masochistic) the concept overall! I managed to fill in everything right (although some things were a little hard to see sometimes). I love the choice of fonts and the little pieces of humor. Good stuff!

Myst the Alchemist by netpunk 2022-04-09T06:09:41Z

I like the spin on the roguelike genre! The menus are cute, and potion-mixing games are games I can't get enough of. Myst's garden is really plentiful, lol. If you ever make a full version, it could be cool to hide some more of the ingredients so you have to go to certain spots or mine after them to get them. I think it took me like 10 potions to find a good one, and after that my life goal became collecting crystals. There doesn't seem to be a way of tracking how long you survived for, which is something I missed, but apart from that, an entertaining entry!

Into the Depths by TheGameOverGuy 2022-04-05T18:41:32Z

Cool entry, I like the idea and the rooms can be quite challenging (which I like). I think the zoom-in animation shouldn't happen on every floor though and it was sometimes a little hard to distinguish between wall and floor.

Keep Yourself Alive by Nocuous Pinch 2022-04-08T07:06:08Z

Simple, but pretty neat! What I like about this one compared to similar games is that there is strategy to shooting constantly or choosing to stop for a while. Grenades are neat too. Cool stuff!

Winter Blossom by KyuuTanosian 2022-04-20T16:47:43Z

Really cute! Love the visual and the graphics in the menus and on the Itch page. The gameplay reminds me of Icy Tower, Ice Cream Jump and similar games. I would maybe make the platforms a teeeny tiny bit longer and I also agree with the comments saying the ice comes a little bit too fast. The music is quite soothing. Neat game!

Hungry Bird by GameDevAlexandr 2022-04-08T06:49:57Z

Simple, but with some interesting mechanics. Could make a nice mobile game.

Human Resource by Tieran 2022-04-05T15:39:35Z

I like the concept, gave me an idea about what it's like to be a maintenance person, lol. The graphics are cute and I love the funny little details.

It was pretty easy to get through though, I would think about ways of making it a little bit more challenging. Neat game!

Omni Empire by arqitech 2022-04-06T11:18:53Z

Neat little game!

I would have liked more control over zoom levels, or an "extra step" in-between the current zoom options. I find that the very first view you start with was the nicest, but I couldn't seem to get back to it. I liked the detail of being able to pick which asteroid to mine (and it added to the dread of running out of resources since they get less lol), although the mining stations would probably benefit from having a clearer way to tell when they are done mining and ready to be replenished. Stacking guns on the moon and planets feels good, and I like that there are multiple choices for things to build. I ran out of things pretty quickly and only had inceptors left to build, but the inceptors are cool too.

I also like that you can try to beat your times. I lasted 6 minutes and got to wave 8 on my second try.

Good job on the game, and also on the Itch page!

transaction failed by riley9 2022-04-05T13:02:30Z

I clicked for the interesting graphics and limited color palettes and stayed for the cute, funny dialogues! I also liked the cool transitions between scenes and the use of color to show interactables. The addition of darker/deeper themes makes for interesting contrast. Pretty cool, especially considering this is your first game ever :open_mouth:

And Then You Fall by Zack HD 2022-04-10T18:54:49Z

Hi Zack, the concept is really cool and unique! At first I didn't know at all what was going on, but after a short time I figured it out  Sometimes it felt weird to not be able to move more to the right/left, it would be nice if it were possible or clearer where you can move.

Generations against Time by VBJ Gamedev 2022-04-17T15:20:35Z

Funny concept, I like it. The game started off a bit too easy in my opinion, but after it was just right. My favorite thing about the game is probably the funny text and the changing "bullets", lol. Good job!
