Great idea for the theme! Very good implementation. I also liked how many different objects you have (although putting the fishing rod or bowling ball into the trash bin is a bit weird  )

I really had fun playing this game! Really great work with it. This style of game is really my thing. I love that you've got a leaderboard as well. I wanted to add that into my game but whenever I published my web request code it just didn't work in the browser. Thanks again for the game, I really enjoyed it :)
The "noooo" when the trash falls is so funny! It's nice to catch the trash in the air too. I really enjoyed! :) [future me problem.png](///raw/28f/44/z/4b104.png)
This is a very cool game. A perfect theme-match. Well done!
Very relatable. An excellent take on the theme. The dialogue in the story mode is very cute. I was surprised how much I was able to fit in there, I thought I wouldn't make it to day 7!
Sloppy physic always get me. Nice entry.
I think I have experience in this kind of problem :innocent:
The challenge mode -> a total success
Thanks for all the kind feeback. we really appreciate that you love the game as much as we do!
(@BearDing8: not weird. The fishing rod is actually broken at the end, and the bowling ball is unlucky in that it won't make any strikes. That's why they have to go :D )
(@DanC2236: We had a similar problem. On itch you can only make HTTP**S** calls. In Unity you can get away with just HTTP calls. Maybe that helps you for the next time)
Who doesent love a simple physics game, and I can proudly say I am a master at stacking garbage, both IRL and in this game. Thanks for making it.
@noskro Thanks for the response! I managed to figure it out and implement a highscore board on my game before the submission deadline. I was determined to get it introduced haha. But now I know what to do, I'm going to make a plugin for myself so I can add this into future games. Great work again on your game btw
Great game! It matches the theme perfectly.
Damn you and your end of game timer! I enjoyed the story mode, but the items I hadn't picked up were getting in my way.
The Challenge mode was even better, and the pizza box was the best trash can extender ever. You bastards got me with that end of game timer though. Well done.
Relatable
The descriptions and dialogues are hilarious. I like that you get to take your time stacking and restacking the items before moving on to the next day. Different items having different sounds is also a nice touch.
The only issue I had was that sometimes items seemed to get a little stuck when dragging them down from the table, but it's no big deal at all :)
Here is my glorious stack!

Ps. Managed to snatch the high score ;)
Enjoyable little game! Loved the physics and trying to get a perfect stack without letting my pile drop was INCREDIBLY ADDICTING. 9/10 would play again. Audio was ambient too!
When I was in full screen mode, the button barely fit in the screen though, not sure if that was an issue or my end or a common thing!
Damn, how much time can a grown-up spend rearranging virtual trash in a virtual bin? Apparently, unlimited time! Oh those famous single-use bowling balls, this game is just like real life. I, too, frequently struggle with trash bins that are too small to contain my used fishing rods.
Pro-tip: playing this with a stylus is much more fun!
You keep on reading these comments, I'm gonna stack some more trash.
Such a cool implementation of the physics stacking game. I love the fact that you actually have to estimate when to stop, that puts a really nice twist on the whole thing. Overall a really solid game, and the story is just a little too relatable...
Cool puzzle game, great physics and controls. Well done!
Pretty cool game. Got to rank 3 for now but arthurds' highscore is just too insane :D
Nice simple physics fun and a good way to make something usefull of all the trash!
Yo guys it's very cool! We did almost the same gameplay, haha.
Great game, highlighting the struggle we must all face... do i have to take out this garbage yet.
this surprisingly feels like a hardcore puzzle game, I really like how it takes some thinking and planning to create a tower of trash lol, and the story idea is funny as well. all in all this game is much fun to play, I love it
the game is a bit too relatable lmao
the game has a simple mechanism but after some playtime it turns into a puzzle on how to keep it stable.
the physics is so simple yet amazingly fun. good game :v:
Neat idea, fit's the theme really well. I don't know why anyone would put a bowling ball in the trash, but that thing made me loose in the challenge mode. I bet this would work well as a mobile game!
I was expecting a game, not a callout... 🥲 Very chill, and a great take on the theme!
Strangely addicting game, simple concept but really well excecuted! Obviously the physics can get a little bit finnicky but thats part of the charm of these types of games.
Great humor! The Game is simple but fun. Two different modes is satisfing for a jam. Thanks and Congrats!🐱
Nice trash game lol Super addictive. I love the sound that the green bottles collides with each other!
Really nice entry! It's surprisingly addictive, and I love the detail in the sound effects! Congrats
Great game! I've managed to build a very promising foundation with two pizza boxes above the trash can, but on 29 items in it sadly collapsed as I put too much weight on the edges. The only thing that bothers me is the randomness, sometimes you get a fishing rod or a second pizza box as your 2nd or 3rd item, and sometimes you get 3 bowling balls almost in a row.
Will definitely go back to this and try to beat my record (which is 5 rn, because I'm greey).
Amazingly creative, the simple joy of arranging trash is beyond comparison. I eventually stopped trying to fit garbage into the bin and started creating structures, trash fortresses, and towers, all doomed with the same un**floor**tunate fate.
10/10 would get divorced again.
Nice game ! Physics game and tetris like are always fun to play ^^ At one point in the story mode an item fell out of the garbage bin and i couldn't pick it up since it went outside the screen, but apart from that it was really cool !
Really creative and fun. I enjoyed the gameplay, graphics and audio. Great job.

Hah fun! took me a little bit to realise that when I grabbed was important
Hahaha story of my life this  Love your game! I like how you interpetited the theme, really grounded in reality. Its short, sweet and challenging! Also, I found the "wok beker"

Really smart interpretation of the theme. This is definitely something I see myself delaying. The art of the trash was I really nice touch, the socks for example. Worked really well. It was a really nice highscore hunt. I got to 23. Have you played a bit around with the unity physics engine? I believe this could have been nicer with a more predictable behavior of the items, by increasing gravity, decreasing drag and giving them all a bit more friction. But this is all just based on guessing by playing. Maybe it turned out as you wanted.
@j0ye Thanks for your kind words, glad you enjoyed the game! Also many thanks for the suggestions to improve the physics. In fact, this was our very first project using Unity physics. We're very happy how it turned out, but we also see some room for improvement. During the jam, we tuned a few settings, but many tweaks also made the whole experience worse, so it was reverted. In the end, we settled on a good enough feeling for the Jam and focused on finishing the rest. We want to release an updated version after the ratings and will work on the physics, for sure, taking your suggestions to heart. Thanks :)
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my stream!

Overall a nice game. Thanks for submitting your game!
ez
It's pretty fun and quite hilarious, it feels like tetris but trash-themed XD
I'm guessing the layout is set for mobile? If that's the case it's an interesting decision because I don't see much mobile attempts on a game jam, great job overall.
@specturnal: The layout is part for mobile, but also part because "portrait mode just makes sense when you try to build up". We did focus on the WebGL build during the jam though. The submitted build kind of does work on mobile, but the menu was all screwed up and we had no time to fix that. That's why the jam build is "just" web for now.
We started on those fixes for a mobile version the next day and got it running pretty fast, only to run into performance issues once you had more than 20 pieces or trash on the screen. So now we are working on redoing all our physics and trying to find a way to make it stable on mobile as well without taking anything away from the game... but with real life catching up after the jam it all takes so much time :D
oh yeah, forgot this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8MbyfCrrWQ
yo plz put my name next to the highscore as well thanks <3
Sorry, @arthurds, you are only 3rd place right now. After I snatched the high score from you someone else beat me and i don't have a screenshot from it. So for now I will remove the highscore from the page :( But there are still 8 days left to get to the top again!
@noskro oh rip! but dont worry glad someone beated that punny score, great game!
Funny game! I included it in my Ludum Dare compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/dNThIjw08MI
