I was an OIer and I know about Conway’s Game of Life, this game makes me feel a little bit familiar.
I think the tutorial needn't to be so detailed cause I'm happy enough when I created the bird by myself even if I didn't know how I made it. All in all, Well done~!
What a cute game! Really love the models and textures. Kind of difficult I cannot pass level 2 but I found I can keep playing even if I'm dead and the subsequent levels are quite easier. amazing considering of the tight 48 hours. Well done!
I don't have 3 friends to play with me so I've got no way to enjoy fighting but nice job! I really love the graphics especially the goddess Discordya(OMG she has voice! She laughs!). The text switches so fast that I don't have enough time to read them.
All stage cleared. Love the graphics and the mechanism. Would be better if some BGM added. Well done!
Great work on the black-and-white clean theme and interesting layout. The interaction of clicking the key information is cool.
Only when I finished playing did I realized I should tell by tactile information rather than just guessing what had happened. I wish I could get this clue in the game, perhaps from the doctor. (Maybe there is but I missed?)
And I wish I could turn back to the stories after finishing.
BTW I think CURRENT isn't included in the game.
The background of scene #1 seemed complicated so I don't know what to interact but others are OK. I love the funny but sad mood that this game brings to me especially after you finished all stages and the sad background music retains and replaces the original music (but the music restored after he gets job, perhaps it's a bug). All in all, nice work!
Finally I found out the time you attack depends on when you press down the space, rather than when the animation ends, which is quite confusing.
Really nice pixel arts and happy to see the cells jumping at the title. So cute! Music sounds great too. The concept of consuming the minions to exchange ability is quite similar to ours.
Here are some feedback:
- Some clearer tutorials might be needed. I even didn't know what the red guys was when I first played.
- The death judgement doesn't looks working well cause when I think I'm killed, I sometimes enter the next level, sometimes get stuck with nothing able to do and sometimes return to main menu successfully but without data cleared when I start a new game.
- The level design is weird. I was still eating pink cells with no force on the last level and suddenly got killed by dozens of steel guys in the next level.
- Ability system doesn't look working well too. Sometimes I consume less than expected to get the abilities. Sometimes my number of minions become negative.
Enjoyable in spite of those!

Well, I did not get how to enter the next floor... Maybe there is a bug that I cannot fully see what I'm supposed to see because of the size of the canvas?

OMG finnaly did i find it outside my screen and i upload this image to tell you the resolution ratio is not like correct. (i'm using chrome as my browser.)
and the other thing seems like a bug is that i can keep clicking 'exit' and the exit tile will fill up every tile that is not a village.

The concept of using Japanese patterns to present the acient Japanese monster is great. I love this. Maybe a health bar would help me to feel the crisis better!
A lot of fun! I think sometimes i need some more obvious warnings for standing for too long cause i keep watching the upper part of the screen ignoring anything under my feet. Sometimes i even fall into the lava unconsciously. Besides, i think a space button for jumping would be great. Congratulations!

So great innovation in this game! The design that you made the game turn-based is very nice! I feel a little confused at first since there is no instructions to tell me to block his route but after I get it it's really fun. Graphics are also great but the background music does not sounds to fit the game...
I like the basic concept. It's interesting. I think the game can be better if the game difficulty is more progressive, e.g. only one ball comes at first and then there will be more and more. I'll feel myself stronger then. Nice work!

I survived for 3 minutes and i think i can make it longer. Great work! I really like this scene in lava with skeletons dropping from the sky. very nice graphics and audios. And the idea that i'm becoming stronger and stronger but still not able to make it forever is good. Congratulations :D
OMG, what a sad story... the game is so serious and it brings a question to me that do we really have the right to choose which one to live on and which one to die? i don't think we can do this because i feel extremely sad for 'killing' one of them. And also, i really love the design that i have to deliver the potion one by one so i have to read the letters and talk to the characters one by one. The completion is also very good and i feel comfortable if the nurse notice me of something i have to do. Awsome work!

@itooh We used logistic formula to control the laying process and K is set to 20 so the number of little dinos will not exceed 20. We used simple Monte Carlo algorithm to simulate it and it appears to be very unstable that sometimes the little dinos lay 3 eggs in 5 seconds and other times they do not want to lay any egg for minutes :|

Great fun game! I think it really a good idea to let the players put the resource blocks and defensive blocks in the same frame, just like I'm playing a complex strategic game in a simple tetris-like scene. Congratulations. Btw, i think the frame around the firework shooter icon is quite confusing because I often think I was placing a firework shooter but I'm actually not. Maybe being able to sell some blocks will help?
A lot of fun with 3 different weapons. I like the shotgun the most because i can kill multiple zombies by one shot. btw, i think the game do not show a lot of 'inevitable' because i feel i can keep play it forever without getting hurt. single weapon is enough to kill multiple zombies and drop multiple weapons so there can be infinite wapons and the game will never end. Anyway, good work!

It's a very good idea to use the meme 'I think we need to talk' for this theme. I like it. btw, I sent the gifts in a likely correct order (flower-puppy-ring) but the reaction seems no difference. Is there really a good ending or there is no way to change her mind?

Beautiful art design and super addictive! The lightpoint that flies around UIs is amazing. Congratulations! The difficulty could be higher because I kept slashing the meteorites without the earth getting any hurt until my arm burned out and I had to stop with total score the 3rd place.
Simple game with much fun. Nice work! I suggest you to write some tips to tell the players that the player can use double jump at first because I could hardly play at the beginning.

At the beginning, when I was playing around, I always died very quickly, but gradually I discovered some tricks, such as always ensuring that there are only two kinds of pressure on my head, strategically giving up the other two kinds of pressure, and lying down for year-end bonuses, from which I can feel to the philosophy this game brought me, teaching me to better face the stress in real life :D
Btw, the hair-shooting design is funny but doesn't seem useful, and I don't know how high the water goes when I'm going to die 0-0.

Good cower defense game. Congratulations! I end up keep pressing 'D' instead of 'F' trying to build the last tower without any response causing a failure. I think some robustness, e.g. more health for the base, would help.

Very nice game! Congratulations. I feel myself stronger when I figured out the acting logic of the monster and made some strategic motions to beat them. But the battles against 2 monsters are still too difficult for me.

Defeated the boss just now. It's unbelievable that you finished a metroidvania game in a game jam. Great level designs with a lot of fun. The machanics to change your head is a bit like a game called "Puppeteer" on ps3 which I like it very much. Btw I suffered a bug for a long time that you may get through the platform and fall into the lava on stage 2 of the boss.
Awesome! A little bit confused at the very beginning but soon get the perfectly designed machanics. 13 minutes cost but didn't reach the 2 hidden tombs, which is a small pity.
Oh this look sooooo good. The sticker-like graphics look very very cute. A bit hard when my minions starts dying and the power of shooting decreases causing more minions die.

It's unbelievable that you used your own game engine to finish such great renders. The idea that enemy bullets summons a new one is also very interesting!
Very cute little skeletons. I really like thoses little guys. Sometimes it feels buggy when I fight with some 'ghost knights' that does not actually exsist when I move into an empty cell. Anyway, nice work!
The monsters are cute. Good. A little bit confusing that I do not know the effect of each tower and I don't know which is the most effective one against the skeleton monster. I got killed immediately on seeing him X(
The mechanics are quite innovative, though the level design could be further refined. It might be worth considering how to better allow players to utilize the mechanics to achieve the level objectives.
