I absolutely adore the chalkboard graphics! They're so cute and colorful! Can't play the game from my Mac though :(

Absolutely love this meow-tastic game! The cute little cat characters and their hilarious howls when hit add a charming touch. It's a purr-fectly delightful gaming experience even thought I'm a bad stg player hhhh
@thalie-nd We are so sorry about that. We uploaded a new package on itch.io(https://catandcat.itch.io/meowpheus),and tested it on mac safari. If you still want to play it, please use the version on itch.io.
Thank you so much for this feedback! :sunny:
cute graphics wish it supported wasd because going between the arrows and x and z then going to mouse can be really annoying but its a really cute and fun.
Hey, this was cool! Art style was really original and all fit together beautifully. The limit break felt nice and powerful and the boss designs were cool.
It definitely kicks off **hard** - would be nice to ease the player in a tiny bit more. Would also be great to leave credits about what was/wasn't created during the jam/by who - I loved the music but wasn't sure whether to rate it as an asset made by your team or not.
Cool game. The hand drawn art style is so cute!
It's a fun game :) I don't play a lot of bullet hells so I don't know if this is a typical mechanic, but I liked the tradeoff between firing speed/movement speed as you hold down Z.
Although, I was unclear about what the bubble size meant. Is it just a visual indicator of how long you've held down Z?
This was super cute! And honestly thank you so much for the insta-boss kill button, this game was clearly designed by people who love and have a lot of experience in the bullet hell genre.
I am historically terrible at bullet hells and I couldn't even clear the first boss without using the cheat button T_T
I love the art, and I think the bubble mechanic was a super clever take on the theme and the balance between offensive/defensive play was such a natural thing here.
I liked the music a lot, and sound effects felt on point, although the meow-ing was a little loud for my liking.
Hmmmm this one was really interesting. On one hand, it had one of the most brilliant mechanics I've seen for a bullet hell game, but on the other hand, it just wasn't balanced very well (in my opinion). I think the bosses should have had a fraction of the health. I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong, but it took me three minutes to beat the first boss - that was with charging my shots, using powerups, and doing my best to avoid getting hit. I think it really just needs some balancing, but the gameplay speaks for itself. This concept is wonderful. The risk/reward of shooting but then limiting your space is just genius.
The art/music is also great too :)
Nice game! Art was fantastic. Really enjoyed the ideas put here. The bubble limiting the area you can move in, and it shrinking as you're attacking was very cool. Also your attack speed being tied to how small your bubble was, also very neat. Made for some tough challenges. Although in a bullet hell style game, being brutally difficult is a good thing, I'd say for a game jam it'd be nice to be able to continue at the boss you last left off at, instead of starting over from the very beginning each time, just to let players experience all that you put in without making it a large grind. On that note, had a blast playing, and it was very well done. Good job!
Loved the art style and the music!! And the sfx were super cute!
猫猫可爱~整体的美术风格超棒!如果能调整一下难度曲线就完美了
This was a really clever concept! Bullet hell limited space AND a bubble for our cat to live in where they can move. Loved the graphics, loved the sound a bit of refinement difficulty wise and honestly I wouldn't paying for this.
I see cats, I love it! That's simple! Anyway, without jokes you did a really good job implementing the theme on this hell shooter game! Also, the graphics were very cute and the original music was very well executed and it was in parallel with the vibe of the game! Good job! Keep up!
Getting major Undertale and Deltarune vibes from the bullet hell gameplay! Despite it being difficult, I really liked the crayon art style.
Cute graph, rock music and hardcore gameplay, such contrast makes it a special game, I like it!
Cool visuals, but a bit confusing gameplay
wow, this game is hard, but it's realy cool! Great bullet hell game. Congrats!
The bubble mechanic was interesting and fun; I enjoy seeing little tweaks on the bullet-hell formula. Combined with the limit-break, it added a lot of depth to the game. The difficulty curve was a bit too brutal for me to be able to beat, but it was still a fun concept.
Took me a while to run the web version (couldn't get passed the main menu) but overall it seems like a very cool game! Love the art too!
The graphics are adorable and the music is just great! The "aaaa" sound didn't really fit, in my opinion - not very catty.
Very hard to beat - the poor, poor cat will never get his fish back
The bubble mechanic and how it interplays with your fire rate is really neat; I'm reminded a bit of the Laser Dome in Dome Keeper, where your penalty for continuous fire is restricted movement. That said, while I'm a fan of shmups, I hate to say it but this was *way* too hard for me. I didn't make it past a third of the first boss's life bar - and there's supposed to be *multiple?* I can't imagine actually managing to beat this game. ^_^;
