LD47 — Stuck in a loop

St. Exton's Night by aurel 2020-10-27T11:43:51Z

The itch page of the game is awesome, its very detailed and it helped me out with playing the game. It definitely has some nice looking visuals. The game is also kind halloweeny (if that's even a word lol), I mean its themed around evil spirits ain't it?

Loopey (VR Only) by shadowbrain 2020-10-27T14:59:08Z

I love VR games, and this was a fun playground to play in. After playing I couldn't exit, so I had to force quit the application. I must say for sure you got me stuck there.

Loopy Planet by bigbadollie 2020-10-27T16:06:05Z

Its a fairly simple game, but it matches the theme pretty well! Didn't expect there to be more ships initially, but it gets pretty tough when you gain 3 of them hence you have to keep track of all of them. Well done.

wheelspin by stoogebag 2020-10-27T15:12:01Z

Its a cool game, definitely matches the theme, however I didn't really pay attention to the dialog a lot. Graphics wise, some more polishing would've been nice. Shooting the shurikens I feel like is a bit buggy, the arm of the player doesn't look towards the mouse all the time.

App-ocalypse by ReDDarKwh 2020-10-05T04:01:42Z

10/10 would shoot brains on the social media addicts again. A great approach on the theme! My only complaint would be the resolution of your game being way too big for my screen, so maybe set it to 960x540?

Save Her by Lestat 2020-10-05T12:03:36Z

It was fairly tricky but I enjoyed the atmosphere of the game, and yeah you definitely nailed the mood ngl. I also see that you used those beans in your previous ludum dare ^^

Superposition by tong 2020-10-15T03:19:54Z

I see where you were heading with the game, but I think the display size was too big for me, so I couldn't play the game properly. That being said, I like the fact that you managed to make a local multiplayer game for this jam!

Countercl0ckwise by Iker Díaz 2020-10-06T04:00:17Z

The itch page that you provided doesn't seem to work.

Just in Time by Pietrek 2020-10-08T14:53:18Z

Whilst there are many submissions with the idea of a "time-loop", this one has a pretty cool effect when the time rewinds back, it could've been more smoother, but it still does the job. In terms of platforming, the jumping can get weird sometimes, I think the ground detection should've beeen reworked a bit. Other than that, the game is pretty good, and it matches the theme well with its story. Well done!

Speedy Dodger by Agent8364 2020-10-06T04:03:17Z

Nice gameplay, though I don't know how the game matches the theme. The only thing that matched it was the music in the background, which was on a loop.

Orbit by Johan Alexandersson 2020-10-06T04:20:10Z

I love PICO-8 games, and this is fantastic. I've heard PICO-8 has many limitations, but you still managed to make a fully fledged game using it. Good job!

RailLoop by LeBossMax2 2020-10-06T04:30:16Z

Even though its not finished, I had fun trying to mess around with the train rails, and I really want to know how you achieved the rail loop drawing mechanic. Don't stop with the project just there, I think the game still does have potential to become a fully working awesome game.

Quantum Loops by necauqua 2020-10-09T11:16:20Z

At first I was quite confused because I skipped the intro (not a fan of reading), but then I got the hang of it, and it a pretty good mouse aim trainer! Very cool. The music is soothing too, with the satisfying sound effects.

Paper Planes by SamDemaine 2020-10-06T09:00:40Z

Its a straightforward game, nice simple interpretation on the theme. It probably be a game that I would play on my mobile device, with the minimalist controls. Good job!

Running on Time by Pieter-Uys Fourie 2020-10-06T03:54:18Z

Nice "train" interpretation of the theme. You do need some mouse precision to deliver the right amount of supplies, but other than that the graphics were simple, I liked the use of the colors, and the gameplay was smooth. I wish there was some visual feedback when the pawns raid the Capitol, a mild camera shake or some kind of visual effect would've been nice. There's no audio in the game so you might as well set your game to not be rated in the "Audio" category. Overall, good job on the game!

DIMENSION LOOP by Danial Jumagaliyev 2020-10-06T03:56:13Z

@zwodahs yes, I think the game is on the "developer" level difficulty at the moment

@tauheed-game-dev @fumybulb @spawncampgames @sebastian-caron @geckoo1337 @thegreenworm @tim-eriksen thanks for checking out my game :slight_smile:

The Altar Beckons by SirPigeon 2020-10-05T12:19:16Z

I had fun exploring the underground caves, but once I got back to the start again after placing the diamond, I didn't know what else to do. I also personally wasn't a fan of the camera movement, I wish it moved to the same direction you're heading, not to the opposite, if you get what I mean.

Gold Looper by Galse87 2020-10-06T13:47:52Z

An interesting interpretation of the theme. Like its said in the rules of Ludum Dare, "programmer art" is very much welcome and I think your attempt at doing the art by yourself was not bad. I like that there is a camera shake when you get hit, its a good way to give visual feedback to the player. There are many things you can improve in this game, like add more enemy variety (with more different behaviours/AI rather than just follow the player). Overall, the game is okay.

The Raider by Panchu 2020-10-27T11:36:04Z

Its a nice simple platformer, and there are many things too improve and add, like some more polishing, interactions and perhaps enemies too. Cool that you made your game available on Android, so I'll give you a bonus point for that.

Exit The While by ZebraVogel 2020-10-05T11:52:25Z

Simple, yet quite fun. Reminds me of the tasks from an app where you learn programming (SoloLearn).

Paradox Planet by kingofsquirrel 2020-10-27T10:24:48Z

I must say, this is pretty good for a first game! Though I didn't really seem to figure out the connection of the game with the theme of the jam. Other than that, there's definitely lots of room for improvement, some more feedback when you get hurt (perhaps a mild screen shake), some polishing would be nice (e.g some post processing effects), and some more interactions (more enemies, more abilities - like a dash or some sort of power up). Of course, it is your decision if you would want to continue working on the game, but you could use some of my suggestions that I mentioned for your next game too :)

Paradox Planet by kingofsquirrel 2020-10-27T10:47:38Z

@kingofsquirrel oh! I get it now, you should probably clarify that in the game's description ^^

ray caster racing js by awesomearcade365 2020-10-09T11:06:30Z

Interesting that you didn't use an engine like Unity or Godot. There isn't really much to do in the game, but it does match the theme. The graphics are simple, but its pretty understandable, judging that you only used html/js/css. Cool entry :)

Welcome to Station Alpha by Theo Ratkin 2020-10-07T06:45:11Z

It was very satisfying to ride the metro several times, with the sounds, the music and the well looking models! With even more interaction, and perhaps plot twists, this could potentially become a fully fledged game.

The Legend of the Stormer by josephdevelops 2020-10-07T04:29:25Z

10/10 would Naruto run through Area 52 again. Whilst the graphics weren't the best (not saying that they're bad, I mean programmer art is very welcome) in this game, I still enjoyed playing it.

Meltdown by Jetyh 2020-10-09T15:03:11Z

Never thought someone would think of interpreting loop as an acronym, its pretty clever. I couldn't really figure out what to do (the reactor kept filling to the max and I always kept restarting), so a brief tutorial would've definitely been nice to include in the game.

Takinfin by BEK 2020-10-06T03:27:08Z

For a first game jam, this is impressive, and I understand that you couldn't work on it full time because of school (so did I). Simple interpretation of the theme, yet fun gameplay! Good job!

Fire Exit by HisHighness 2020-10-27T10:14:18Z

This game brought me back some Lemmings nostalgia, so thanks for that. There is a lot of room for improvement here, like the ability to restart the level is really needed for this game. Other than that, good job!

Smells Like Chlorine by TheGreenWorm 2020-10-27T10:08:04Z

So this is how it actually feels to be a janitor...

I got stuck on the first puzzle, so I had to watch the walkthrough. It looks as if a lot of work for such small time was put onto this, so great job!

Death Day by Nekopi 2020-10-27T15:03:25Z

I feel like there was a great teamwork involved during the development of this game, because I just love it and can't believe you made this in such small time! I like the many interactions you can do to complete tasks, like with the water. This is probably one of the best games of this jam.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Gem Raiders by Hare Software 2021-04-28T18:23:40Z

Cool game, I really enjoyed the way you had to play strategically, the game bugged out whenever I tried to go to one direction only, but despite that the game implements the theme in a unique way, haven't seen any RTS-genre games yet in the jam. Overall the game was great to play and it can be further worked upon in many ways.

Going Down in Fishstory by Jonas Tyroller 2021-04-27T10:21:40Z

I honestly didn't know how to feel about the ending, RIP Booba. Nice implementation of the theme, and great controls. The game was at a pretty good difficulty, it wasn't hard, but it wasn't so easy as well. Great job with the voice acting as well, really didn't expect that to be in the game. I thought Liam's voice was Noa's voice in the beginning

Going Down in Fishstory by Jonas Tyroller 2021-04-29T03:15:43Z

@yaen oh wow. I thout it was Liam's voice for some unknown reason. But props to all of you either way  XD

Madness Inc. by NoelOskar 2021-04-27T06:50:05Z

Cool game! With some intense music, it would've been much more epic, I suggest using Song Maker https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Song-Maker/song/5108911672655872 you can make simple but great tracks using it like that one. I loved the enemy designs, the first one was challenging at the beginning, but once i found out that you can dash, it really helped out a lot. Also I think there should be a longer invulnerability period after you get hit, because its really easy to die fast. The enemies have cool death animations as well, personally enjoyed fighting the monke

That being said, this is still some really nice work done in 48 hours.

Red Archer by BadPiggy 2021-04-27T10:08:18Z

Another great game from you, and I believe this is the continuation of the saga from your game Red Handed? Anyways, the mechanic of shooting and dashing towards the enemy felt really great, however the time slowing mechanic I think felt a little too overpowered, but that didn't ruin my overall experience when playing the game. Great job!

Downfall by ReallyQbert 2021-05-05T04:20:42Z

Its a cool game with simple graphics, applies to the theme. The music was a little glitchy, but I suppose that was because I was playing on the WebGL build.

Groundbreaker by Danial Jumagaliyev 2021-04-27T03:25:45Z

@noeloskar Thanks for the great feedback! There is certainly a lot to explore in the game, and I will probably update the game with a Settings tab. May I ask on what operating system you played the game? Because the highscore should easily be saved automatically once you lose.

Groundbreaker by Danial Jumagaliyev 2021-04-30T08:32:20Z

@quoc Hello! Thanks for wanting to try my game. All versions of the game work properly, must be a technical issue on your side. Could you try downloading the game instead?

ROOTS by TheGreenWorm 2021-04-29T14:15:33Z

This was a very relaxing game to play, and I have to admit, this is probably the best game of the jam that I have so far played. The way you approached the theme is brilliant, and I like that every time there are new obstacles underground, it made the game feel a bit less repetitive. Once I had an occasion in which I got stuck for a few seconds when I hit the end of a water bottle and the root's ends started piling up a little, but other than that this was hands down an amazing game. Tres bien, Pierre!

Slicky Finger by Omaewander 2021-04-27T14:52:24Z

Cool finger motion, screaming of the struggling dude was funny and on point. Noice game.

EveryDay by xpoho 2021-05-06T08:23:40Z

The style of the game reminds me of the good old flash games that I used to play back in the days. The sound effects were good, and the implementation of the theme was pretty unique. The part close to the ending made me laugh when the dude smashed the progress bar  Overall this was a solid jam game!

DeepScape by koalabear 2021-04-28T17:13:08Z

Gathering kelp never felt so great as ever before. Solid submarine movement, but most importantly - seeing squidet and interacting with her was just really amazing. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Really nice game.

HELL deep is your love? by Villanelle 2021-04-30T11:10:21Z

Man, this down-scrolling platformer was **HELLA** tough. The music was fantastic, could get my head bopping to sync with the beats.

Ludum Dare 48 - Deep trouble in Little town? by Geo3D 2021-04-28T13:27:54Z

I love the low-poly 3D environment, some audio would've made the game more fun to play though. The use of the theme for me wasn't clear at first, however the use of "F" was pretty damn laughable. I also was going for compo at first but then switched to jam, so - you're not alone on that ;)

Lost Mind by Ali Azeem 2021-04-28T14:35:58Z

Screenshot 2021-04-28 192053.png This game has a really good atmosphere, it definitely was creepy! What could've been awesome is a cool scary jumpscare whenever you lose. The pixel art was good, but in some places there were differences in scaling of the art (I suggest using Unity's Pixel Perfect Camera component next time). The audio effects were on point, I do wish there was a slight heartbeat sound effect that would become more apparent as your fear went higher. Therefore, graphics-wise and sound-wise, the game was pretty epic.

About the gameplay mechanics, they were pretty basic, and I wish there were more elements to the gameplay, to make it a bit more chaotic. What I'm trying to say is - eating pills felt a little too broken. If this were a real life situation, you would probably not die of fear, but of consuming a lot of pills. So maybe, if you take a lot of pills, you would start seeing more hallucinations, or your view gets more messed up. Since this is a jam game, afterall, the mechanics were okay.

The game has a nice implementaion of the theme, it did feel like it was getting just a little more tough as you ventured deep into the haunted forest.

The story was interesting enough to keep me going. Though seeing the ending kind of made me sad, finding out that the main character's friend died in the forest. But the accomplishment of winning payed back, so I guess I'm happy that I found out the end of the story.

Overall this was another cool jam game from you, JudgementCole, you did great with your teammates. Keep it up!

Infinite Descent by BluishGreenPro 2021-05-13T04:46:12Z

Nice variety of platforming movement, a great use of vfx, and cool music!

Deeper unto the Dungeon by Sieber2210 2021-04-27T17:25:25Z

Cool game, great use of assets. A pretty basic but nonetheless nice implementation of the theme. There is a lot of room for improvement though, and that is mainly adding more visual and sound feedback by effects that could have been added. Despite that, I think for a jam game this was good.

LD49 — Unstable

Rocky Reactor by Hare Software 2021-10-09T12:10:35Z

A solid turn-based game. The game board kind of reminded me of Joustus from Shovel Knight a little bit, but the concept of that game is different. A really nice touch were the voice lines of the characters. Great job!

Atomica by Wassim 2021-10-09T12:04:16Z

Great concept of unstable atoms! Overall, I enjoyed playing the game while listening to some of the chillax music in it. One thing that was quite hard was probably the aiming, since the core/player was pretty big and was blocking the center of the screen just a bit, so I think the camera angle could've been adjusted a just little. Edit: forgot to mention that the intro was super cool and a nice touch. Not everyone is able to make it in time to credit themselves in jam games :]

Mercenary Diaries by Huntrox 2021-10-17T07:31:51Z

A nice mercenary hiring simulator! The art and the environment kind of reminded me of Papers Please, which was pretty cool. At first I didn't get how the game fit the theme, but after reading through the description it made it very clear. Overall, good job on finishing a game in 48 hours!

Pile Up Medieval by zimny11 2021-10-17T10:13:19Z

What an interesting take on the theme. Y'know I was working along side with some team, and they were also making a city builder, but more strategic. This here doesn't involve as much strategic, which makes it almost like the antonym of their game XD. Anyways, good job on the game. Definitely one of my favorites!

Download more ram (100% Legit) by NoelOskar 2021-10-09T12:07:39Z

My PC went boom boom and my house went boom boom. But thanks for the ram, I never knew you can download it.

Alchemeow by Robert Li 2021-10-17T10:16:01Z

The art in this game is magnificent, and so is the writing! Though I think the gameplay of the game could've had some more work done, for a jam game, this is incredible!

TECHNUCLEAR by TheGreenWorm 2021-10-09T11:56:58Z

Another fantastic game from you! I personally really liked the effects in the levels and the UI, this is a very simple yet creative and polished game. The music was pretty catchy too!

eXtreme Restaurant Simulator by Lascax 2021-10-17T10:19:32Z

Didn't expect to see a full-on mobile game. This is without a doubt a clever and a funny use of the theme. This game made me imagine that working as a waiter can be very difficult, especially when carrying too much stuff on your plate! So well done with the game!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Shimash by thedashdude 2022-10-17T13:59:26Z

Nice usage of theme, I also really liked the graphical effects and transitions between game modes. Would've been nice to include some music, but regardless it was still fun to play :)

Sizzle & Serve by superjai 2022-10-20T15:43:47Z

A really well-polished game! This game really does test your multi-tasking abilities in serving food and it gets pretty chaotic but fun when there are several orders pending. Well done guys!

Onades by sergilazaro 2022-10-21T08:35:56Z

This was really satisfying to play! There's definitely lots of minimalistic effects, which I adore and the fact that you used your engine really inspires me to try to do something like this in the future! Great job!

Watch Out by 100th_Coin 2022-10-20T17:26:18Z

Wow, what a great concept dude! Nice voice acting, really enjoyed playing through the levels. Only when you mentioned the colorblind mode did I start thinking about why the colors mattered and then I figured out that each two hours had a specific color to them. I also really dig the 2.5D style of the player, and the addition of a shadow when the player was getting blocked by a block from the view, was a very nice touch. Overall, a super polished game, well done!

Speed Barber by PhoenixofForce 2022-10-20T15:48:06Z

An interesting way to go about the theme! I like the style and I actually found it quite satisfying to shave people.

Fall Girl by civmaniac 2022-10-20T17:01:50Z

Damn the cowboys with guns were kinda unexpected and caught me off guard in the 2nd level  Overall, I liked the concept and I finally understood how a job of a window cleaner can be disastrous. Well done!

Potat-OS by JMad 2022-10-20T16:40:44Z

Potat-OS - the best OS I've ever used. Aside from the confusing champagne mini game, overall I liked the concept and the puzzles I had to go through! Clever and creative use of the theme :)

Robotbotbot by alpharock6 2022-10-20T17:15:03Z

Really liked the mechanics of the game and the well-thought puzzle levels! Would love to see this expanded in the future somehow, 'cause I think it can be explored more! Also really liked the hand-drawn type of art style of the game, kudos to the artist!

Sweet Seconds by Jag 2022-10-20T16:55:34Z

I've played a similar cooking simulator from this jam, but I found this one to be way more relaxing to play. The soothing pinkish-white colors, the chill music and the sounds, it all made the experience fun and satisfying. Well done!

Room Again by SofiGnedova 2022-10-15T12:38:07Z

Very nice puzzle game. Can I just say that the art looks fantastic? It gives me the vibe that Tim Burton's cartoons have. At first, I was quite frustrated, but then I finally got it - the item on my hand doesn't go away when the world resets. So I think I was able to get to the end? Screenshot 2022-10-15 173634.png I do gotta agree with the comment above, "Here's Johnny" reference was kinda funny.

Exp10sion by lynnezzzy 2022-10-20T15:56:42Z

Nice puzzle levels, I like how the difficulty curve was pretty moderate and helped me understand the mechanics of the game, making it more and more challenging with each level. Though it was just a little bit boring to wait out the rest of the 10 seconds whenever you needed to traverse a path for your ghost. But hey, it was the theme of the jam, so nothing to do 'bout it. Overall, good job!

Stormlight Manor by RogueBrain 2022-10-20T16:49:02Z

A simple yet a fun and creative approach to the theme, the levels were nicely made, considering how you really gotta figure out the path towards the exit without just blindly running to it.

Clique Hell High by Sean Esopenko 2022-10-20T16:03:13Z

I really liked the main mechanic of the game, both pretty hilarious and clever, creating room for some interesting level design. Another nice lil' touch that I noticed was the music being dynamic, very nice. This is a very polished entry!

Orbit by benpigchu 2023-10-08T12:52:58Z

This was pretty fun and satisfying to play, even though it was really simple. It reminded me of an old flash game that I used to play as a kid, and your game transported me back to my childhood 🥹🥹🥹

BLOCKIES by Ayxs 2023-10-08T22:57:27Z

A clever concept for a 3D tetris game! Placing blocks felt really satisfying, and I like the little details about the different blocks having different "game features", it makes it all a pretty unique experience!

Ribbon 2 by 100th_Coin 2023-10-20T21:21:43Z

Such clever puzzles, so many innovative concepts in this game! My only criticism is that the movement of the camera gets weird when you clump up the ribbon.

AnathemA by 3mpty 2023-10-15T03:14:00Z

I'm impressed by how immersive the game is! You nailed the graphics and the audio. The enemies' movement felt pretty fluid, which increased the eeriness factor this game already had. Add to that, this is your first game in Godot! My only tiny criticism would be the reloading. It got me a little confused at first. I wish it were either automatic or the hint to press "R" wasn't a one time thing. Other than that, awesome entry!

The Little House That Had Been Very Good This Year by WFMG 2023-10-08T20:34:41Z

Pretty simple and cute game. There's something interesting to watching a stack of gift boxes fall down. On one hand, its miserable, but on the other hand, its kinda satisfying to see them tumble down.

Meowpheus by ffffchai 2023-10-09T15:20:51Z

Getting major Undertale and Deltarune vibes from the bullet hell gameplay! Despite it being difficult, I really liked the crayon art style.

Crazy? by Danial Jumagaliyev 2023-10-08T20:24:41Z

@bluedandelion Thanks for playing the game! You have to drag the rats directly on to the fat rat's head. On that note though, the hitbox for it is pretty small, so I'll probably increase it in size in a patch after the jam.

Crazy? by Danial Jumagaliyev 2023-10-08T22:25:44Z

@ayxs Thanks for the great feedback, I took a moment to improve the LD page of the game. Originally, I was gonna make the room fully visible for a few seconds before the start of a day, and I'll think about implementing that after the jam.

Outland Escape by Spike Studio 2023-10-08T12:42:43Z

A really polished game! Great detail across everywhere, from the little effects in the overworld, to the popping juicy UI. I liked it a lot.

Fun Ant Game by ElmoEinstein 2023-10-08T12:50:32Z

Getting obama was really tempting, but worthy. It was fun to strategize the placements of the buildings! I wish there was more liveliness in the game in terms of the visuals and animations, but considering the fact that you only had 3 days, this was pretty impressive on its own!

Snowlord by minjutin 2023-10-20T21:13:50Z

From the building of the forts, to them actually fighting against the big baddie, I really enjoyed the innovative gameplay with the step up in minesweeper!

Project Minima by BlueDandelion 2023-10-08T22:50:14Z

This was a pretty cool celeste-like platformer. Sadly I could not make past this section ;-;

It seems quite impossible to get past it

Locked in the DARK by Alexandru Barbanoua 2023-10-09T15:33:20Z

Nice concept. The music and the graphics really set the tone for a dark and spooky atmosphere, which fit the theme pretty well. If you're gonna continue working on this game, there's definitely lots of room for improvement. My one tiny suggestion would be to add some transitions between the menu and the level, whether it would be a fade or something else is up to you, but ultimately there are many things to consider for further polishing :)

Payment Comes on Friday by Tetracold 2023-10-15T14:28:17Z

I really liked the juiciness of the graphics, from the different expressions of the character to the fluid movement and scaling of the boxes. Despite the repetitiveness of the gameplay, I still enjoyed the game! I'd suggest adding more obstacles in your way with each day, maybe having to do some extra task like labelling boxes or having several sections in the limited space of the truck.

River City Transit by vivid-hallucination 2023-10-08T23:02:59Z

What a nice and relatable concept this game has  I found that the best way of survival is to just beat everyone up which was pretty hilarious

Glitchstream by Donut Team 2023-10-16T17:22:38Z

A very basic shooter game with interesting graphics! Though you do have to take into account that not everyone has a mouse which can toggle its sensitivity manually. Here are a few things I'd recommend adding if you're gonna work on this game more or make another shooter game: - More feedback. This is always important. At its current state, the game has minimal visual and audio effects, and those are key to making a shooter game feel fun and fair. For example, there could have been sound effects for every time you hit an enemy and there could've been a central hit marker showing from which angle an enemy hit you. - Fun Enemy AI. Instead of making the enemies spontaneously spawn and immediately start chasing you, make use of state machines and give the enemies more variety in behavior. - Better level design. There's jumping in the game, but where are the platforms? Place around obstacles and platforms, this will make the game more fun!

Blashout by mncc8337 2023-10-14T12:51:09Z

Our concepts ended up pretty similar lol  The game relates with the theme pretty well with the limited vision area. To me what stood out the most was the upgrade system, which was creative with its names and kept me playing more of the game. I do however think that the game is a little too easy right now and the difficulty curve rises quite slowly, so consider doing some balancing if you're going to continue working on it!

Skrungle Rescue by dooskington 2024-10-14T19:55:48Z

Cool game. The map is massive, which is impressive for a compo game, but I would have liked to see more features get unlocked as you progressed in the game, maybe a level up system where the more skrungles you save - the stronger and larger your attack becomes.

Funny how you can kill your own skrungles though, right after you freed them

Pirate Bact Blaster by Phobos001 2024-10-14T19:19:41Z

Very nice visual feedback in the game, I enjoyed playing it. Wish there were more variations of enemies. Nonetheless, still fun!

Flower Friends by Jejkobb 2024-10-14T19:47:51Z

Cute and nice concept! Graphics-wise amazing, I really like the cloud effect that you did for the thought bubbles, reminded me of the graphics in Baba Is You.

oh but what a gruesome ending.. lol

C.Bee.O. by Sibi 2024-10-23T22:34:46Z

The bees' movements feel so fluid and realistic - the polish in this game is amazing! I feel like the game does need some balancing, I would keep the difficulty of the first 2 levels and scale it more in the next ones. Regardless, the levels do a great job at introducing new mechanics. Wonderful jam game!

Tiny Companions by MidnightMist 2024-10-21T05:05:30Z

Really enjoyed this cute metroidvania - one of the most fun games I played in this jam! Even though there were no tutorials present in the game, I managed to get the hang of the game mechanics and they were pretty straightforward! Jumping was a little tight, but it did not cause frustration (phew, glad that the saved bugs don't abandon you upon death (also a very clever checkpoint system))

The Rubber Room by Danial Jumagaliyev 2024-10-14T21:47:25Z

@fractal Thanks for playing! Besides the shotgun, you could use explosive rats to damage the rubber room. Alternatively, every additional throw in the hoop after getting the shotgun will result in extra ammo drops.

Planet Maxim by danielkozlov 2024-10-23T16:36:13Z

Silly little game, really gave off the vibes of old Russian flash games. Also what a gorgeous intro, maxim is literally me

Howard and the Ants by henk 2024-10-23T16:27:17Z

A nice little explorational game. The mechanics are straightforward and well-explained at the beginning. The inclusion of a map was great, kept me excited to see where the paths would lead to the bottom. I just wish the ants had smoother movement 'cause they almost phase into you when they are coming from off-screen, but on the other hand it does serve a purpose to always keep the player always on their toes.

P.S kudos for making a game without the use of an engine, took a peek at the source code and was intrigued :eyes:

Thoughts of tiny creatures by FuTaiBu 2024-10-14T19:13:06Z

Good entry. I wish the camera was centered to the player so you could see what's below.

Tiny Friends :) by daflamingpotato 2024-10-14T20:07:51Z

Simple graphics, nice and neat concept, and probably one of the few puzzle games that use the theme well this compo jam. I think this game requires a step-by-step tutorial rather than a wall of text explaining the controls, and it would have been nice to see a level where you would need to use all four little guys to beat it.
