The game sounds good but unfortunately the image is broken and the file is too large for me to download without something to look at first. Can you upload a screenshot?

file size was way big for just a jam game. the graphics being set to ultra high was not good. my gpu heat shot up over 80c with this game. i tried clicking on settings, it never opened. when i got in game, the only thing i could do was walk back and forth and swing. not sure what the point of the game was, but i never found it. and with the game destroying my GPU i just couldnt go back and give it another try. also i couldnt open an escape menu to exit the game, i had to use short cut keys to get out and kill the process to stop the game. if you put in a quit game, or back to menu thing in the level game area, make it more accessable.
yea i wanted to play this game so bad but i agree with the comments below or up or whatever angle your looking lol  im sure its good thou hope you can make a smaller version. also for unreal make sure you have FPS limit set to either smoothing or fixed. otherwise it messes up with streaming software as well as causing performence issues
Nice concept!
I like the idea and the sound.
Cool game with fun story and great concept! The gameplay changes at all time, and this is a good thing. However, I found a bug that sometimes my character becomes invincible for peasants attacks. And the build size is huge, but I saw on jams a lot bigger builds (4GB), so you really need to think about optimizing it
Unfortunately I couldn't play it, I think it's too heavy for my poor notebook :(. I could only get to the initial menu and see that beautiful background image, with that dark atmosphere and the semi-human crow O.O. I was really excited to play it, maybe lowering the graphics quality can help make it playable.
I was able to play this game but I got stuck on the rats lol. I cannot find where they are coming from, i feel like I've pressed E everywhere. THe graphics are amazing (although demanding) and the mood is on point though. Also rats are very annoying, it feels like a coinflip everytime you try to jump over them
@blobasaur You might go on -1 floor. Use elevator for that =)
Hello,
This was a cool concept for a game but after I collected the plants I was stuck and could not progress in the game. Also the jump and attack with the sickle seemed kind of useless/wasn't sure what it was for. Cool concept but def needs work on execution.
Cool quest I think I hit the invincibility bug, kill lots of villagers. I had fun. Thank you for sharing.
Saw this one on a stream and after playing it, the mood here was incredible, but the gameplay was a bit repetitive.
That said this game nearly begs to be expanded on and polished, cuz the setting, concept and everything is really on to something. Its oozing with potential and a post jam patch would be something I'd love to try again.
This is a interesting game that would shine with a bit more love. The graphics are very impressive, but they feel like they run worse than they should (I was barely reaching 60 with an RTX 2060). This feels like a game that has almost suffered as a result of the graphics due to the performance, and due to the download size. The most successful game jam games tend to be the ones that are the most easily accessible to all, and this sadly isn't.
The combination of the graphics and the audio create a strong mood, and having the village in the background in the fog is a great form of environmental storytelling. I wanted to see what this world exactly was. The gameplay is arguably the weakest part here-while the collecting of materials for the cure works well enough, the combat system is very basic and simply not fun since it is just swinging at the villagers repeatedly waiting to see if either you or them die first. A sort of dodge/leap back would probably help the combat feel a bit more fleshed out.
Overall, this is a good entry, especially since from what I saw in the dev accounts, most of you are still pretty new to game jams. It'll be nice to see what comes from this team next.
I think it was a good entry. I would have preferred if the language wasn't so jokey and more history accurate. Combat wasn't that great as all I could do it press the mouse button until the enemy died. I also didn't really understand the ending. Excluding that, good job
What a solid looking and funny game! Caught me off guard when the player said "Dafaq?" :joy:
Played it on stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1456566145

Thanks for review and vote =)
The mood is about atmosphere and feeling in game.

I feel like this one is an undiscovered gem! So little ratings even though you posted a lot of WIPs and posts about the game. It's really cool and looks really pretty, good job on the game designer and art lead part. The gameplay was interesting too, humor also hits well, conpared to the gloomy mood. Amazing entry!
Great job on the atmosphere and the story! The game is very intriguing and fun to experience.
Two things come to my mind with regards to improvements.
First, the combat felt very sluggish and cumbersome. I know it's not really the point of the game to fight, since there were not many of them, but those that were in there could have used some work. The biggest issue for me was that I missed a way to defend myself from the incoming attacks, either by parrying or dodging.
The second thing is kind of a nitpick. In my opinion, the ending song, while pretty good on its own, does not fit with the overall atmosphere of the game. I would prefer something calmer and more melancholic. Anyway, it's a minor flaw in an otherwise perfect-sounding game.
Great job overall!
