Simple but nice puzzle game

Nice puzzle game. Good graphics and sounds. So atmospheric
Nice platformer game. Looking for new levels and modes in future
Nice and addictive game for 5 hours. Also found hidden mechanic, I can use wall jump to climb on tower top
Nice game with nice concept. Tried on easy and extreme difficulty. The record on extreme is 8885. A bit confused playing first time, but IMO controlling the ship at with one austronat is a way too easier than having a team. Also the sudden death with asteroid which is not showed on radar confused too. Still I enjoyed it

- Can't move boxes in column where drops new box - Sometimes box hits even I jumped - Sudden deaths and I can't understand why it happened (lava or crossed line or out of HP)

+ Nice music + Nice graphics. The thunder effect is awesome one + Good concept
- Needs a higher difficulty monsters or new ones - Difficult to understand how many HP enemies have - Unbalanced cost of cubes
- The shop dissapears when I try to buy an item with higher cost than your current gold amount - You can buy lifes over the limit - The monsters has no reaction at your attacks. So if I try to attack the monster with 3 HP with 1 damage sword, I take 1 damage guaranteed - The diagonal movement is even faster than vertical and horizontal movement

Well, it's a good game with old style 3D as Doom or Wolfenstein3D. However it needs a lot of improvement to be played at least 5 minutes. The sound killed my ears, very loud

Also the realization of health indicatior is confusing too. It rotates with unit and just changing the color, that it's hard to understand how many health player and enemies have

@mertios, thanks for complexed review, and I can explain what you mentioned in it. Firstly, graphics. The game was developed on Unity 2017.3, so the text problem has a point here. And the only texture, which not using "point" filter is oxygen bar. Others are imported right. Secondly, gameplay. True, it has problems cause of not having a game progression with increased difficulty. I'm sorry that I had not enough time to add it in 72h time limit, so wait for new version of the game Also, I can add the source code, if you interested in. Maybe you give some tips to improve the game

True that the dungeon feels empty, but it can be fixed in new version of the game The bar around player character is oxygen and whenever it depletes, you take damage every second, which increaces in time too. And the situation with gas you mentioned can happen cause of random and it's hard to avoid them completely About art assets used in the game, it's one asset, but player and enviroment have different sprite sizes, so this happened. It will be fixed in new version too

@keyurrana, thank you for review. I agree that the jam version is raw cause of lack of time. And the post-jam version controls are same as jam ones :laughing:. Just increased size of character and hitbox

Very simple game. The idea with bullets teleported to other side of screen is fine. But that's all gameplay. Also I didn't understand the game scoring. It increases over time or by killing enemies or both?
Simple and nice game. The concept of making drop as speed reducing factor is nice one. It has a good variety of enemies too. Sometimes the hitboxes of bones goes weird and you got hit even you dodged. And good music
Nice concept and game. Also it would be nice to select the item to move with keyboard too, because you always need to move your hand from keyboard to mouse and it's annoying

Nice entry and awesome voice acting
Good entry for jam. But there are several problems with the game itself: - Differences between the towers. What's the profit to set up the blue towers, which has the doubled cost of red one? :shrug: - Preferences how the tower targets the enemies. As I expected, the tower should choose the closest enemy to the core. But it always targets the furthest enemy from come. - The disappearance of towers within time. It would be a nice balancing mechanic but with a lack of information about towers makes disappointing of losing the towers for sudden. Hope you can fix it in post-jam version :smile:
Nice graphics, and decent gameplay. There is some issues to stop the fire cause of having the placeholder hexagons, which can block the view and scripts mb. Also, it was unexpected at first playtime how to move camera . So, I recommend to add the button camera controls and zooming it.
Really funny game, especially the in-game sounds. A nice solid gameplay.
Did you think about adding some healing items or get bonus life by having the certain score?

@cosmicpickle Thanks for feedback! There is an easy mode for in-game controls: just HOLD the movement keys to move in the rhythm. And the game will be much easier to play.

Cool game! This is a solid shooter with Nuclear Throne style!
But it has some cons, which I found during 10 minute gameplay session: - Switching weapons. When my machinegun was out of ammo I tried to scroll the mouse wheel DOWN, and nothing happens, so I thought that I had no weapons at all and missed the weapons. But after 5 minutes, I realized that mouse wheel UP switches to next weapon. So please, make the mouse wheel DOWN possible or automatically switch to another weapon with ammo. - No theme matching. I didn't realized what's the point for the theme. Restarting the level? Maybe. But there is no cutscene or text which describes the jam theme. - Hard to find enemies. Sometimes on big rooms I didn't find out why the doors are still closed if I " had killed" all enemies in the vision range. - Background music is silent. The music is damn good, but I couldn't hear it properly cause of it's low volume.
Nice first entry! The game is neat with cute graphics and fluid controls. Hope to see new levels for this game
Cool game! Like the plot and low graphics style of the game. A bit weird how dices and enemy attacks work. Also the random events sometimes can't take a chance to choose how many dice I will roll. And the spider poison got a too much damage with every turn. And there is no point for rolling less dice than you have, or I couldn't understand the game rules at all. Thanks for making this game
Nice game! Like visuals and utilizing the pipe-game genre. Sometimes the game feels so random, so the score can range to 0 to a lot, or losing a game because the random has rolled incompatible pipes. Also I thought that the cross pipe will starts to fill in three other directions. Still it's a good entry for a jam
Really cool game. The idea and graphics are great. The only thing was about the stats of the cards. I really didn't understand what the sword means: is it attack speed, attack damage or DPS? This misunderstanding was at the peak when I summoned "Anger" and instead dealing lots of damage, it dealt lots of attack with 1 damage. But still, that's a great entry for jam!

I agree with you that this game needs more variety in mechanics and enemies. In fact, some of mechanics are already implemented in the game. But we decided not to add them in case of making the game really unbalanced

I agree with you that the game has a lack of visual feedback and UI elements, which turns out not understanding what's going on and what should be done now About mana banks and maximum mana manipulations, that's a cool idea, but it needs to be checked in practice

About the cheesy moment you mentioned, yes, you can make these type of cards. But by adding lots of empty cards you will lower your chance to get a card with effect. Also making one card with great ammount of symbols can't help you either, because it's mana cost will increased too. So it's about making low-cost cards with good efficiency And I agree that the game has UI/UX problems, which can cause misunderstanding how to use Cut/Combine mechanic and other stuff

Yes, the Cut/Combine mechanic is the intended way to finish the game. If it wasn't then it would be pointless for use. And it also mentioned in game plot, so you will delay the inevitable: trying to cut the cards :)
For cancelling the Cut, it follows the Touch-move rule like in chess. Also, in case of random appearance of symbols when you try to cut the card, with cancel button it could be heavily abused for rolling better symbol positions

I totally agree that the game needs more instructions on how to play to users, who play card roguelike genre at first time, but it takes not so much time to understand what's going on
The card's cost depends on card's difficulty which based on used symbols in the card. Some symbols can increase or decreace the difficulty for sertain ammount

Cute game with simple and engaging mechanic. Very like the low color visuals, looks pretty neat. The game has tension when you press the button to make a star to get out from the level - that's a good point. Good job!
Pretty cool game with quite interesting idea of using 2048 game mechanic. Also I found some bugs, when the old man could not collect the blocks in his way and moving in the wall to decrease the amount of "Something" and keep playing
Nice game page design! The swipe mechanics, I think, fits better for mobile. The color game scheme is a bit toxic. The gameplay at start feels good, but making the swipes for 3 minutes - that's crazy

Cool game with fun story and great concept! The gameplay changes at all time, and this is a good thing. However, I found a bug that sometimes my character becomes invincible for peasants attacks. And the build size is huge, but I saw on jams a lot bigger builds (4GB), so you really need to think about optimizing it
Nice runner! Really like how 3D combined with 2D graphics. However, the spawn of generators feels so random that the game skill means nothing to the progression.
