Hi, first congrats for finishing this jam ! Here some feedback:
Firstly, For the menu, use a canvas scaler and scale it with "screen size" instead of constant pixel size, it will fit every kind of screen resolutions ;)
Secondly, I didn't saw the link with the theme, maybe you could enlight me and I could retry ?
In any case, congrats for your efforts and for the 2D game in unity :P

Nice concept which really well fits the theme! I particularly like the fact that you can use a human to bring zombies on the rail to kill them ahah !
Maybe it needs polish on physics because it's a little bit fucked sometimes and that make survivors become zombies :'(

Just one thing, maybe the player is moving to fast sometimes, so it makes him a little bit difficult too control :)
I like the mechanics, the fact that the terrain is reducing and getting different weapons is really clever!

Overall it's a good game, easy to understand and peaceful. I found it really addictive but I think some points could be improved: - It too easy IMO - If you don't buy anything you have just to deal with empire stuff (as you can't sell them to gain space) - There is too much repair ship, I've never broken more than 1 part of the platform

Concerning the AI, it is intentional. One enemy is dumb and has a chance to fall and the other is intelligent and follow you without falling! We could surely improve this in the future version of the game :)

In a post jam version we will take into account all the feedbacks about player controls to provide a better experience :) For cubes, we will probably enlarge them but we have to deal with the fact that we want the terrain to be seen entirely in the camera view, so if cubes are larger it may have less cubes (We have to think about it to improve that part too)

Concerning crystal we doesn't plan to simplify the crystal as it's the main mechanic of the game to choose beetween player upgrades or repair the floor! But as you say maybe we should have a look at the gold cost of card! Maybe have a look to crystal by freezing a little the game when choosing to simplify the choice?

Sometimes I was not on a hole, but not far and I lost anyway :/
I like the fact that when you fall into a hole it's like you fall into your house and you restart :)

Graphics are impressive! the idea is really great!
The only minus I could give is the camera, it makes a bit difficult to see where the player is landing and makes controls a bit difficult some times. Also, the player hitbox to die is too large IMO.
Fix those point, your game turns into a finished one and became awesome :p

I tried the jam version (not post jam) for the vote! As already said, the score does not increase in this version!
I love the graphics and the controls ( we have early the same control system in our game if you ant to checkout)
The game concept/gameplay is really cool the fact that enemies make you run out of space but you can organize them to refill space is really innovative :)
Maybe the dash should be in the mouse direction because I was a bit confused in a first time (maybe it's just me ^^')

I had to say that the concept is good (reminds me a bit of old "Asteroid" arcade game) but the ship is hard to control with a keyboard :/ It should be better with twin stick or with WASD/Arrows and the ship pointing in the mouse direction ;)

Hello, I like the mood of your game and the graphics + narration! But I found it really hard, I was stuck at level 1 because I saw data to late and the moving speed was low so I didn't have the time to avoid them :/

Nice idea and nice use of the theme ! the music work perfectly with the game. You said that the platform can't carry more than3 enemies but sometimes there were 4 or 5 and nothing happened. More, the health should regenerate after a time but never happen too. Did I miss something ? ^^'
I think you improve the difficulty, we can stay in a position and just spam W to win without using space or lose lives.
Concerning lives, I love the concept of losing lives either on enemies and by using space, quite unique use of the theme/life system.
I like your minimalistic art style, Great job overall :)
