the AI is quite good
Very good concept here, i think it can go a long way with more balance.
Graphics and sounds fit well, the controls are good, the INTERACTIVE tutorial is clear.
It just need more balance, the randomness of the shapes order make it sometimes impossible. it shrink too fast for a level 1 too.

Well i get past the big wall and i died under a rain of little bombs. i dont want to retry because it feels too random and luck about how to get past the wall.
The idea of exploiting glitch is quite innovative and can be fun. In this case however it is not really user friendly. And that's the main reason i did not have a good experience
- the controls are not intuitive, i want to use Space to jump, and E or my right and to interact so i fumble a lot - What are the glitch doing beside changing de color ? i dont know?
Ok i ve read the description of the glitch. No chance you can understand this throught regular play unless you commit a lot but i can't dive deep if it feel too random and clumsy.
Did you find someone to live test the game in front of you without giving him hints ?

Good pace. But the controls are a little too rigid, the jump is not reactive enought and too many leap of faith
Very good game, i like how fast is the pace and how dynamic it is especially with the camera movement. didnt get bored at all, but i think my left click has a lower life expectancy now
shrinking window add some freshness in this genre. but, i just die and die at the second screen, no time to figure out what to do and it is quite frustrating.
Oh this game is really cool, i like when you assume the difficulty with no checkpoint

Good game here, it looks simple but you can't go no-brain for the highest ground reachable, you have to think, and think fast.
its confusing. "start to flood if you take a wrong step". Is it just random or is there a logic behind this. Because well, it floods if i take a wrong step but I HAVE to make it flood in order to reach the door

interesting game play. does the sounds decrease in a linear fonction of the distance with the player ? maybe something in 1/r² would make it easier to find the right spot.

Really cool game here, i love the narrative. But once you find a good spot, you juste have to spam the bullets and you can't die (unless you buy the bazooka)
good mood study. i like the that the feedback when you hit a rock is purely visual, you dont break the sound ambiance.
first try i died in the rocks, so the 2d try i went right to dodge the obstacles, but when i get close to the lighthouse from the right side, the camera was completely messed up and i was unable to move. But that's not the point ^^
Good game and interesting gameplay. the graphics are simple but effective.
few bugs when you get stuck in a platform or float in the air.
but i think you should be able to recognize what is interactible with the mouse and what's not.

few things however : controls are too rigid, even close to the end i didnt get used to the shooting with arrow key. i always want my character to shoot in the direction he looks...
so i started just dodging ennemies.
After i opened the 1st door with the key, i had a REALLY annoying bug the player could not stand still, he always move either right or left, but i managed to play whatever.
feel like it need the ability to duck, and control your jump.
but still, good work here.
Very pleasant to play and just hanging around. The controls are smooth, the choice of color is good you know where you have to go. It feels good in this an harmless world
Good concept. Maybe we should not be able to trigger 2 area at once, was frustrating when only a pixel of me would trigger the wrong zone

Hey, quite innovative game here. Few things more user friendly : I type not looking at the input box, and when i know i typed a wrong letter, i would use backspace but it does not work. Maybe a little Audio feedback to remind you you cant erase a letter would be cool. Also, you can navigate between ID using the arrow key, so this way its 100% key board.
I like how the game is responsive with the visual feedback of shaking and the sound when you fire. sounds not much but it make it juicy

I like the heatbeat speeding up.
But however it is still too simple. I don't know how are your coding skills, but you can add some features to make it more juicy.

I think i m stuck in the tutorial. i placed the little rocks on top of the screen, i sold the metal at the space station, but i m still stuck in the scene with the tutorial-little-guy and i dont know what to do next. I played for a while but i m confused. how do you go to the next level ?
i made it to 49 day, it is weird cause i though i was going to live forever with my heart production at 2 but it slowly decreased and i died.
Interesting, i had fun playing it but of course it can be more polished.
first thing not userfriendly was to see your heart value decrease even if you have a positive production (yes you have to wait the end of turn, but not clear at first)
The concept is good but i think it is too difficult. Maybe make the box blue when you have to sum, and yellow when you have to substract ?

i have few notes : The build up, and the art does not really fit together imo. When i move, i feel more like dancing like the other people than avoiding them.
Few games here treating the theme in a similar way : /roomys-room - /panic-attack-at-the-party .

The second level was almost not playable on my computer, cause too many AI. Idea's interesting and the take on the theme innovative though.

Instruction very clear, the design make it intuitive and you understand the gameplay in seconds. But maybe a warmup level will would be appreciated.

Is the algorithm of tile spawning made so you can never have a whale falling ? i looks like it's too randomized and you can have only Animals for a long streak, but perhaps my strategy was suboptimal

well polished game. it shows good features. just need more variety in the ennemies but you its already a great release for the jam.
One thing i noticed, first time you play, its not clear you have to chose the bonus pressing a key since the panel has the same sprite as the controls button you have to CLICK before the game start. But it is no big deal at all
You can go back in the screen from the left side, so you have to do a biiiig circle to get here.
23 pizzas here. It is super dynamic so you click the Restart button a lot of time before getting bored. Good job here.

sorry but i have to rate it although i didnt finish it because i died 8 times in a row for a little mistake and i had to restart from the very begining...
However i think i got the idea of gameplay (not the story but i can imagine a twist).
it is smooth and pleasant just not the part where you have to restart when you hit a tiny thing
Innovative concept, too bad you were tired because adding more storytelling hidden in txt files would add up so much to the game, it would keep interest and also distract from the main goal
As the ludum dare rule's says :
"Is using the Theme required? Officially no, you are not required to use the Theme."
I think this game was a personnal challenge, like you said, learning new tools. Its ok to join the event to stay motivated.

sorry if i sounds rude, i may use the wrong words since i m not fluent in english. 2 or 3 people here seem to dont understand the game at all or figure out how it is related to the theme ; an anonymous guy was even more agressive lol.
I just remind that the theme is not mandatory but still, i dont see the purpose of the game.. honestly, i can't dive deep like half an hour in a game when i don't understand what's happening. I can only vote for the mood category. we can talk about the game in private if you dont want to reveal too much publicly

Good idea, well done. a little bit to hars with the uncontrolled jump, the randomness of the alien that sometines prevent you to survive.

really like the sounds too. was not clear at first ho to control the player, i thought the UP arrow will move it in whatever direction it is looking. I think it is the way it's done in games like GTA1 or Take No Prisoners

You have all the mechanics working to make a text based RPG, but i think this one is too short. Maybe I've done something wrong but i can reach either good or bad ending in 1 minute ?
it also need some sort of visual/audio feedback when you play a card.
The game is juicy for its genre. i can't survive long enought to hear more than 10 secondes of the music shift.
I tryied to build a big chunk of blue box in the middle, so you just have to circle it and the purple bad guys will crash on it so no need to aim. can save your focus on dodging the reds and green
Not my favorite game of its genre but everything works fine. the movements are fast but the difficulty does not scale with it, it maybe needs more ennemies. Still a good job cause i have not seen bugs so far

It deserves a web version, so i downloaded the source code and build the WEBgl, cause i know there are a lot of issues with unity and WEGBL export and not everyone can do it.

i like the atmosphere. I think its a little bit to harsh. the jump is quite slow, and pixel tight leaps are very punitive.

Once there is a lot of people in the room, you dont know if your actions still do something or not, because its kinda random and its hard to figure out what your movement is since its the sum of the Jump loop, your Input, and the force applied by the ennemies. Can you add a shadow or something to know where you are ?

I like the art on this one. It could be better with some powerUps and more ennemies. I made it to 3200 points and then, the game was very slow. Don't know if its intended or if its because of all the scripts eating my RAM ?

Its the kind of game that can makes you rich on the play store. looks perfect to me
I think i got the idea about attacking and defending by "stealing" the ennemy's attack. It's like if action points were the room left in your bag.
You have a fun promising story with the hero being the bag, but unfortunately the combat system is not so clear. i need more feedback about what is going on.
