Theres no game at the link above. Looks like fun though

tontonpizza 2018-12-04 04:07

@cody-foster thanks for the review. I had troubles with the build (i build with my local saves, with bad screen resolutions..) It should be ok now.

also you game was fun ^^

cody-foster 2018-12-04 04:43

@tontonpizza Thanks for playing our game. I tried again and now its way too big for the screen. I only see the top left corner of the screen.

jakmcploofy 2018-12-04 05:15

I played the game, and it was great! Clearly lots of thought and time was put in.

turtlewit 2018-12-04 05:21

I like the style a lot! With a bit more polished, this would be a very nice looking game. I like the characters! I also love the Night In the Woods styled platforming and dialogue, but I often got stuck trying to jump onto platforms. Otherwise, great work!

treegemmer 2018-12-04 05:33

Great music!

alastairwyn 2018-12-04 05:54

I really enjoyed the music and the art style. You walk so slow! O.o

beats 2018-12-04 06:08

Does the game end when you fall off the edge?

tontonpizza 2018-12-04 06:18

@beats yes, but the function i call to quit the game doesnt work for HTML build (Application.Quit), only for the downloadable version. thanks for playing the game to the end

evan-leibman 2018-12-04 06:37

Definitely felt some night in the woods inspiration, but it wasn't on the nose, so great way to make a style your own! I fell into the lake and slowly drowned, not sure if that is the end or if there was more. I think a more clearer objective could help keep the game focused, as opposed to the free-roam style street you walk down after leaving the house. Great Job!

tontonpizza 2018-12-04 06:42

@evan-leibman thanks for the review. I didnt figure out a way to close the app when its the html version.. it works better with the .exe . have you tried to restart the game after drowning ?

kruemelkeksfan 2018-12-04 06:50

That is awesome, I love the ending quote and how this game turned out. First I thought, that pressing shift to walk faster would be a nice feature, but considering how it turned out I guess that it is ok as it is.

kambing 2018-12-04 06:53

The beginning was strong, in the room and the hookup, but it turned black after i played the guitar and the other mouse was gone. No idea what happened. Then i drowned in the blue stuff.

mikest 2018-12-04 14:39

i also wasn't sure where to go and drowned. i like the art and music. i think the game has potential. good work!

guilb 2018-12-04 15:35

Nice concept, I like the art and the sound. Maybe the game should has more options on the choices but I understood the idea!

sashbros 2018-12-04 16:35

Nice work and gameplay..Its just that the directions of what to do wasn't much clear.. And I drowned.. Some buttons for restart may be awesome.. Other than that.. Great work..Also the speed of mouse can be a little bit higher.

tontonpizza 2018-12-04 16:42

@sashbros Thanks for playing my game. there is no restart, that's pretty much the point.

sashbros 2018-12-04 16:54

No problem @tontonpizza it was really fun playing the game..I think you inspired a little by the Night in the woods !!

tontonpizza 2018-12-04 17:05

@sashbro Yes i like to mimic popular game as a "Click-Bait" for my message. I played your game and i see you have troubles with lags. Upload the unity project files i may take a look at your code

eric777 2018-12-04 22:33

I love this genre of game. Platformer/metroidvania, nice art! Ambitious goals, pretty awesome for 3 days!

While playing, I got about 4 or 5 quests from npcs before I died suddenly (fell down a huge pit). No worries, I just refreshed to play again, but the game apparently remembered me and refused to let me play again (saying something to the effect of "you've already made your choices."). I think I get the "you only live once" idea here, but somehow I must have found an abnormally short path through the game and would have liked to try again.

All around good job!

stu 2018-12-04 22:35

Interesting concept. I enjoyed the exploration element and drowned. I would've liked to see more of the game but respect your choice to only allow me to play once.

acaral 2018-12-05 00:05

The idea of "you've already made your choices" is very great and original

praleks 2018-12-05 01:11

really sad(

ropedog 2018-12-05 04:03

I really like the mood and overall feel of this game. The music and dialogue set the tone well. The graphics are also really well done. I think with a bit more time and polish this would be a really good story/platforming style of game. Nice work!

paulhocker 2018-12-10 05:09

very NITW feel -- will be playing again -- tanks for making it
