LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

He Has Hostages by Joseph Manley 2018-12-05T03:25:36Z

Nice concept and great take on the theme! I'd love to see a blown out version of this with dodge rolling and bullet time. Be proud of your jam!

Ho Ho Hold Up by SeanW 2018-12-05T03:20:24Z

This has a really great vibe. The art and music really set the tone for this to be a chill exploration game. The humor was actually more subtle then I expected and the VO cracked me up. Great stuff!

Triumph Tribute by guilhermesouza 2018-12-05T01:56:01Z

Loved the mini game system but due to your take on theme I didn't get to play as long as I liked. (so I played a couple times) Great entry!

Dungeout by Raveroth 2018-12-06T02:04:57Z

Fun little game. Nice subtle use of the theme but I think it would've had more impact if the dropped torches were as bright as the enemies and player. Def enjoyed it and would've played longer if there was more content. Also the audio was perfect at setting the mood.

Ludum Dare: The Game by Darylsteak 2018-12-05T02:08:11Z

Pretty relatable stuff here. I have a feeling it will go over well with your target audience!

Dark Roads by sebastianscaini 2018-12-05T02:52:22Z

Nice mood. Would be better with less crashes

AkimBear by ecmjohnson 2018-12-05T01:39:55Z

smooth feel, juicy effects, snazzy pixel work and swinging music choice!

Dear GrandMa by TontonPizza 2018-12-04T22:35:56Z

Interesting concept. I enjoyed the exploration element and drowned. I would've liked to see more of the game but respect your choice to only allow me to play once.

HoldOn by Eresia 2018-12-05T01:01:43Z

Clever idea and great execution!

PeonCraft - Sacrificed by Kornel Meszaros 2018-12-04T22:54:23Z

Interesting Concept but even level 1 rogues get stealth right? haha, I def enjoyed the experience would've liked a more satisfying death animation. i.e. a strong enemy chopping off my head or the Giant Hipster smashing me with his hand. Still a fun entry.

Queen of Blood by Elliot Walker 2018-12-04T23:02:18Z

Held off on rating because I couldn't get game to accept my keyboard inputs. Maybe a bug?

Wastage by andrejsch 2018-12-04T23:51:39Z

Def could tell where this was headed by the promo pic and very much enjoyed it. I will say the vegetables felt a little unnecessarily hard to find. Also shredding cash seems like a bad business plan :smirk: Great production and fun game!

LD46 — Keep it alive

FlameOver by fancy89 2020-04-22T17:56:34Z

This is such a clever idea! What a great minimalistic concept and so well executed! Favorite I've seen so far!

Dad's Breath by Jungle 2020-04-22T14:58:57Z

Any chance for a Mac or HTML5 build? I would love to be able to play and rate this game.

The Glimmering Woods by Kyrio 2020-04-23T15:15:56Z

Nice chill mood. Very much enjoyed it. HA! that ending though.

A Healer's Tale by Space_man 2020-05-12T16:30:01Z

Yep def hated the group. Would've liked to have had the pleasure of experiencing the ending a bit more first hand vs. reading it but enjoyed the game. Great job!

Peck Beach by matfernandestt 2020-04-22T19:45:22Z

Love the artstyle! Not a lot to the gameplay but you made a fun little thing in a weekend and that's a success in my book!

Keep The Party Alive by tuesi 2020-04-23T13:40:42Z

Ha, we had similar thought of 'keep the party alive' but totally different game idea. Great minds! Cleaned the plate, unclogged the toilet, threw a new CD into the player and danced on the table. What more could you ask for? Well done!

The Call of the Unicore by sndr 2020-04-22T17:20:09Z

Fun, solid entry that's extremely playable and on theme! I really appreciate the fact that we had to collect 3 resource types though I would've loved to see them taken a little further. I think it'd be awesome to have the gameplay effected somehow based on which resources you are running low on? Just a thought. Still just having to locate the appropriate resource while shooting enemies was enough to make this more interesting then other entries I've seen. kudos!

Bunnurse by Brainoid 2020-05-12T16:07:41Z

Impressively polished given the timeframe! Love the art direction and mood. Straight forward take on the theme but I still didn't play any other game like this. Great execution!

Witching Hour by CaseyH 2020-04-22T17:51:28Z

Nice concept that makes for a fun game. Essentially a bullet hell where you can only dodge. Thought the difficulty ramp up was well executed and I had a fun time with this one. I'd recommend that when you beat the level it starts you on the next level that's unlocked by default so you can just press 'space' to continue vs. having to select the next level. Main reason being I played the first level twice on accident :smirk:

Deamon Flower by JustusPan 2020-04-22T15:49:15Z

Love the pixel art/animation and the (gameboy?) inspired chiptunes. At first I wasn't sold on the idea since it seemed so simple but the level design picked up and the game became a lot more enjoyable and challenging. Well Done!

Hungy Hungy Dwagons by cheesepencil 2020-04-23T15:27:51Z

Fun cute game!

Shiny by LeGoLaZ 2020-04-22T15:33:44Z

Cool game! Your new instructions made it very clear what to do and I enjoyed the concept and the art very much. I do think if you had more time you could work on making the animations feel snappier (melee combat is always tricky). Still I think you had a well executed idea that felt very polished which is tough to do in a jam so you should be very proud!

Mosquito by Leetchi_Heda 2020-05-12T16:10:56Z

Fun take on the concept!

Chains by Rendow 2020-04-23T13:52:29Z

Well done. I would've like to see more polish like others have said but you made this thing by yourself in just a couple days. Be proud!

Feed the dog by mungobulge 2020-05-12T16:18:44Z

Eye catching take on pixel art (this is what got me to play). Could see you adding the UI as others have said but I respect the intent of focusing on audio queues.
