Nice concept and great take on the theme! I'd love to see a blown out version of this with dodge rolling and bullet time. Be proud of your jam!

This has a really great vibe. The art and music really set the tone for this to be a chill exploration game. The humor was actually more subtle then I expected and the VO cracked me up. Great stuff!
Loved the mini game system but due to your take on theme I didn't get to play as long as I liked. (so I played a couple times) Great entry!
Fun little game. Nice subtle use of the theme but I think it would've had more impact if the dropped torches were as bright as the enemies and player. Def enjoyed it and would've played longer if there was more content. Also the audio was perfect at setting the mood.
Pretty relatable stuff here. I have a feeling it will go over well with your target audience!
Nice mood. Would be better with less crashes
smooth feel, juicy effects, snazzy pixel work and swinging music choice!
Interesting concept. I enjoyed the exploration element and drowned. I would've liked to see more of the game but respect your choice to only allow me to play once.
Interesting Concept but even level 1 rogues get stealth right? haha, I def enjoyed the experience would've liked a more satisfying death animation. i.e. a strong enemy chopping off my head or the Giant Hipster smashing me with his hand. Still a fun entry.
Held off on rating because I couldn't get game to accept my keyboard inputs. Maybe a bug?
Any chance for a Mac or HTML5 build? I would love to be able to play and rate this game.
Nice chill mood. Very much enjoyed it. HA! that ending though.
Yep def hated the group. Would've liked to have had the pleasure of experiencing the ending a bit more first hand vs. reading it but enjoyed the game. Great job!
Love the artstyle! Not a lot to the gameplay but you made a fun little thing in a weekend and that's a success in my book!
Ha, we had similar thought of 'keep the party alive' but totally different game idea. Great minds! Cleaned the plate, unclogged the toilet, threw a new CD into the player and danced on the table. What more could you ask for? Well done!
Fun, solid entry that's extremely playable and on theme! I really appreciate the fact that we had to collect 3 resource types though I would've loved to see them taken a little further. I think it'd be awesome to have the gameplay effected somehow based on which resources you are running low on? Just a thought. Still just having to locate the appropriate resource while shooting enemies was enough to make this more interesting then other entries I've seen. kudos!
Nice concept that makes for a fun game. Essentially a bullet hell where you can only dodge. Thought the difficulty ramp up was well executed and I had a fun time with this one. I'd recommend that when you beat the level it starts you on the next level that's unlocked by default so you can just press 'space' to continue vs. having to select the next level. Main reason being I played the first level twice on accident :smirk:
Love the pixel art/animation and the (gameboy?) inspired chiptunes. At first I wasn't sold on the idea since it seemed so simple but the level design picked up and the game became a lot more enjoyable and challenging. Well Done!
Fun cute game!
Cool game! Your new instructions made it very clear what to do and I enjoyed the concept and the art very much. I do think if you had more time you could work on making the animations feel snappier (melee combat is always tricky). Still I think you had a well executed idea that felt very polished which is tough to do in a jam so you should be very proud!
Fun take on the concept!
Eye catching take on pixel art (this is what got me to play). Could see you adding the UI as others have said but I respect the intent of focusing on audio queues.
