You can't have too many cats by mollekake 2019-04-30T23:54:27Z
I very much enjoyed the alternative endings and the clever cat removal mechanics! :cat:

I very much enjoyed the alternative endings and the clever cat removal mechanics! :cat:
Really good game. When the insults came, I ended up hiding in the corner. A good game with a good message.
Game was very fun, but it has a little bit of a learning curve with so much happening all at once. Fun game, good job!
Good core mechanics! I think with a UI revamp, perhaps some snapping to building placement, and a clearer building tree could massively improve the game. Good job.
Good game fun mechanics. Very good progression. At the beginning it felt difficult to kill one dude but later on I was killing them in bulk. I think additional enemy types and maybe a final boss could really add to the game and make it feel a little less grindy.
@nullandkale I didn't get the win screen either.
I really like the game concept with there being literally too many objects in an area that you run into them. One suggestion that I think will improve the movement a ton. Add some sort of particle effect or more static objects around you so you can tell that you are moving.
Great games, I had a good amount fun playing this. It's a simple puzzle game but with the timer it works really well! I think if you added a variety of car types it would increase the fun of the game. So you got like tiny smart cars and then large vans.
Only problem I had was when the gate closed on a car and it couldn't move and the gate wouldn't open again. gltich.png
I really enjoyed the mood of your game. I am a sucker for a good Sci-Fi aesthetic.
Holy crap, that game me made uncomfortable in a good and terrifying way. Your game was so good @mortifix actually made me bring up and play it. You did good work, thanks for sharing this with us.
Really fun game, I wish that for rotating the character when using PC controls it used the mouse location instead of the arrow keys, but I had a blast playing it and the particles, graphics, and gameplay all mixed very well.
PS: I really enjoyed watching your stream throughout the process. Today, the last day of the Jam, it felt like something was missing. I'll have to stop by again.
I love the cyberpunk aesthetic and all the references were *excellent*! The game played very smoothly and I had no issue throughout my playthrough. Great job!
I really like the Star Trek-esk theme. The roles of each crew type were relatively easy to understand the mechanics behind them. Good job, I had a ton of fun!
@johnsensei Thanks for the feedback! The web version is missing some lighting features we implemented. As for the new hostage popup, I agree. Unfortunately, we didn't think of that during the development but it's something to take note of for next time!
@casey-macneil Thanks! They do blend a bit too much into the background, don't they? Good suggestion.
@eddie-li The artist, @mortifix actually suggested to do so, but unfortunately it was something added in last minute so maybe something we'll fix in a post-ludum version?
@demogorgon All the different hostages have traits that modify their bounciness.
Thanks @spacemonkey! We were thinking of adding a little more diversity to hostages, like maybe some hostages can slow down cops and some explode pushing physics objects around.
Thanks @izi! This is our second jam. We had tons of fun making this game and plan to release a couple updates in the future. (And of course participate in the next jam)
@mrpiedpiper I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@cr0wns Thanks for the criticism, I'll try to update the controls to feel a little more solid.
@mitch-cutler Nice!
@lyrcaxis You play a very courteous sociopath. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
@potatoez I'm glad you had a lot of fun. I'm thinking @mortifix, the voice actor, had fun making them. Maybe I'll get him to add more.
@morriss Thanks for the good wishes!
@tpamir We plan on making the movement less floaty in the next patch. I am glad you enjoyed it!
I absolutely loved this! It was a little short but the complexity of the game for a jam was awesome! I think what you put together was extremely clever! Great job!
I genuinely got into to this. Good job. I suggest removing the bilinear scaling though. It will make your spritework less blurry.
The screenshots look very interesting, but unfortunately, the itch.io page isn't set up. :/
The audio is pretty good, it definitely adds to the aesthetic of the game. There is a bug though when releasing your mouse when outside of the game screen. Good job!
That's analog not binary, but it looks pretty and plays well good job!
This game killed me.
Simple and straightforward mechanics. I had some fun with it, just wish I could attack diagonally. Good job!
Lovely.
@raphiell Hey thanks. We were really bummed we didn't get through everything in time.
@luigi-rizzon Thanks for giving our game a try. It's obviously missing a lot and we plan to add more. You can actually go over to the farm area and press interact `Enter` to plant and harvest. Very basic system.
Very enjoyable, I thought the game mechanics were presented a really great way and music usage was amazing. I think the combat could be sped up a little bit though. Awesome work.
I really like your twist on "Your life is currency" you had both office work and vampirism. I had a little issue with the compass where it kind of floated around, but it played well and had a good amount of variation, good job!
Love the concept and could really see the game continue to spiral out of control (Maybe could have worked in the GMTK jam too haha)! I liked that the game really gave you a feeling to push forward by giving the player a feeling of diaster!
Also, I suggest some tweening during movement. It'll make it feel a bit less teleporty! Great work!
@lychee That's my fault for not testing the build outside of the editor until post-jam! As for gameplay, I 100% agree I kind of cut content a bit there. Hoping to add a bit more over the next week for polish!
@ghatazorg Thank you! <3
Very fun and I love the chaotic nature of it all! Though after the tutorial I beat all the levels by just press right arrow.
Great work!
Very difficult, but fun!
