Fun game. The player moved strangely and was generally hard to control, but the concept and graphics were nice.

I really enjoyed the mood of your game. I am a sucker for a good Sci-Fi aesthetic.
liked the game it was fun and i really like the mood and audio tho i couldnt see the sacrifice theme in this one
Cool game, i felt like i was an old person collecting pills for an appointment. Seriously, pretty fun, but kinda grindy. Wish it was a little more difficult and less about traveling super far
I liked the game. I see the sacrifice angle in that gathering up pills makes your more vulnerable to attacks. The enemies had a good health level so when you did run into conflict it felt nice. The controls tripped me up a little bit at first. I'm used to games like this using W to apply force to the ship in the direction it is facing. The fact that it was oriented to the screen made me do a double take. By far the biggest thing that you could do to improve this would be to add something to the background so that movement could more easily be conveyed. I had several pills, but I was moving so slowly that I wasn't even sure I was moving. Seriously though, this had me hooked even with how simple the premise is. Great work!
Mano, realmente curti muito seu game cara, joguei varias vezes e vicia de verdade, realmente é bom !!
Great audio very fun to play.
I disapprove of "unexpecteed bugs". That said, I didn't seem to run into any.
As everyone else said, I really like the audio and mood. I rarely felt the need to sacrifice the pills though; the gun seemed to handle them quite well. The only time it didn't was when I was too loaded down and couldn't out pace the harder ones.
Quite fun for how simple it is. I think I would have liked a stary backdrop or something to break up the endless see of grey.
Oh, and I really like the radar.
Thanks everyone for your comments. Unfortunately during development I got very ill. I'm just getting over the cold now, but here's a quick response.
@great-bobleny The UI messes up in different resolutions, I thought it was only WEB GL, but I saw it happen in desktop. Also see that sometimes the capsules count as two if you hand carry them in. The Radar was actually one of my favorite parts in developing this.
@ncadieux Thank you... @samuel-lee did the audio, and I didn't put in proper credits.
@rena-hataka Obrigada meu amigo
@owl-and-jackalope Thank you. I had plans to add in a star field, but I ran out of time. If you get to level 3 difficulty some times you need to launch capsules back at the enemies to kill them. Having two capsules when getting swarmed sometimes help.
@dry-squid I had to remove the boss fight because it wasn't fun at all. If I had one more day I would've been able to possibly implement more than one
@lerpish You have to save the capsules which you can instead use as a weapon against the enemies when you launch the capsules at them.
@joseph-manley Thank you
@aphid98 I realized after launch that few people like the floaty controls. If I do another space game in the future I'll look out that.
Slowinged down was hardest making
Game was okay. Did love the sound effects and game idea. What I did not like was the controls. I would have loved the ship to fly in the direction I it is pointing. Overall it is not a bad game.
Your game was played on my stream ( https://www.twitch.tv/ursagames/videos ) on the fourth day of Ludum Dare streams. Thank you for sharing your game with us! You can find the timestamp of when your game was played here: https://goo.gl/N2rkr8
Great little game, the music really helped set the tone and pace of the gameplay.
Found the slow drag taking capsules back quite dull but did have a few nice moments where I had to throw them away to defend myself. I think if you work on this further you should perhaps look at something other than movement speed to sacrifice, perhaps fire rate and/or acceleration.
I liked it quite a lot, the audio and song is amazing. The capsule mechanic is very nice, but i think that that "launch system" is a little bit hard to control. Good game overall :)
Incredibly good audio and SFX! Very fun game! :smile:
Sorry I couldn't leave you a rating, but I really applaud your efforts on this while being ill. Lots of great advice already. Initially I was also thrown by that break from Asteroids controls, and would have liked to see more personality in the capsules. A "Thank You!" when you saved them, or an "Oh No!" when imperiled, or "HELP!" when approached. (Random name generator?)
In my play I tended to run into the enemies a lot while searching for caps, but I did have some fun, and think you could get this where you want it with some refinements!
Great base game with the added theme that rescued capsuled only draw you down. Unfortunately I wished the enemies would approach you from farther away in order to make the player actually feel danger or pressure to leave the capsules behind. I also really enjoyed the music, but I was a larger fan of the menu music than the actual gameplay music. Great job overall.
Clean menu and presentation up front. Moving around as a twin stick shooter but using WASD was way harder than I assumed it would be. Nice audio throughout the experience. I would make some type of scrolling background as I couldn't tell how fast I was going during longer treks. Nice asteroid theme :)
great game, great concept!
i really like how the player has to decide whether to go fast or carry more people. very cool mechanic. the music really also sells the premise that you're trying to save as many people as possible before they get eaten by asteroids.
the only thing i really wish is an easier way to tell where everything is. like grid lines or something. it would also be easier to read the minimap if it showed you in the center.
overall, great game! very interesting twist on asteroids
Hey MrTroy! Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream!

Fun game, I really like the mood and atmosphere. Though, like others were saying, the controls do feel a little floaty. I feel like this could be solved by having something in the background so that I have a sense of movement. With the blank background, I underestimate my speed and crash into the enemies.
Awesome job guys!
