Good and fun game. Very short tough. Also would like to have a bit more time to get to the potions. One mistake and your doomed. Good job.

Hey there. First of well done with this game. It is very well executed. I am most impressed by the fine detail such as the instructions which forms part of the background. This art style is also very well done. Audio and mood is cool. Oh yeah and the controls feels perfect.

First of well done on getting the game completed in the short time. Some things that stood out: 1. I like the art style of the game. 2. Instructions were simple but understandable.
What would make it better: 1. I would add more gravity to the player. 2. Increase movement speed. 3. Sometimes the goblins fell of the platform.
Other than that I love the idea.
Well it seems like the were walking away from the player to the end of the platform and just kept on walking.

The graphics in this game is really outstanding. The sounds are also very good. The look and feel works very well. The only thing that I feel could use some work it the game play. It feels like there is no real objective. I do understand that one weekend is really short and I honestly must say what you have done is really amazing.

Nice game. The UI was very good and the instructions of how to play was excellent. I quickly knew how to play. Graphics and art work was also very good. Controls felt good.

The game was not bad. Player movement felt weird.
Cute little game. Interesting idea as well. I must say there are a few things that did not feel very good for me. One of them is the gravity of the world/player. Everything felt a bit too slow. Character was cute and the animation also nice.
Good game. The only thing that felt wrong was maybe the players animation vs the speed he it moving at. It did not feel correct. I think if it were any other enemy in the game one would not have noticed it but because it is the player in front of you that whole time one notice.
Hi @najmm , this was a cool game. I really enjoyed the game play, the graphics was very good, the sound did fit very well with the game and the hints and tips really help me as player to understand the game better. The only thing I struggled with a bit was controlling the player. Also the enemy movement was very predictable. Other than that very good job.
I enjoyed the game and had a good time killing robots. The window res was a bit of a problem but could manage. I was missing a health bar.
I am a huge fan of warcraft and this is an excellent game. Loved the twist. Also the sound and graphics and animations are outstanding. Good work

First of the game is great. The art style and look and feel is perfect. I think this is one of the best looking games I have played in LD44 this time. The control I did not like to much, specifically that when you move a character he gets unselected. Other than that it is a solid entry.

Thanks for the advice @cpv, however I did make the jar file clickable which means that you can just double click on the game jar file and the app should run. Thanks for the good feedback.
Hi @ogma , first of I want to thank you for the detailed feedback you gave me. It is not often that someone will take the time and explain in detail as you did how his/her experience of the game was. Thanks for that.
Also thanks for the art style complement. The aim for me in this Ludum Dare was to get some insight and feedback especially on the art style for future games I want to make and so far I got very positive feedback. Which means I might endeavor future games in this style.
Regarding the level designs and game play I actually got sick on Saturday (Flu bug) and gave up on the game all together but on Sunday evening I decided to take the game further. Therefor the game is obviously full of bugs and flaws but still.

@icxon thanks for the awesome feedback. I know the AI of the enemies are really weak and was actually done in the last few ours. I wish I had more time to create better AI.

Hi @ogma , first of I enjoyed the game. It was fun. Very good idea. The sound/music was really good for me. It is a catchy tune. I loved it. Feedback on some stuff that stood out for me which could be improved, first I would say make the bullets of the cops a little bit slower, I really struggled to dodge them. Regarding the GUI/HUD, it was so small almost unnoticeable. Controls also felt a little bit strange to use. I would make use of the mouse as well. Maybe click mouse to move somewhere. Overall, nice entry.

Hahaha, very funny but fun game. It took me a few laps to get use to the control but managed at the end. Best score for me was 37. With a small amount of improvements on the art style this game could be a mobile it. The gameplay is perfect.
Wow, I like the fact that you felt comfortable to use your own engine for this jam. Well done on that. I must honestly say this is a good entry. I did however found a lot of bugs. Especially clearing the stuff on each level when one dies.

Thank you all for the feedback. Thanks @Linver but I am not using JOGL, I am using a game engine called jMonkeyEngine. http://jmonkeyengine.org/ It has a LWJGL render pipeline and JOGL pipeline. So I did not have to worry about all those other issues. I am a big fan of jMonkeyEngine and java, even JavaScript. I am more a developer than an artist and that is mostly why I thing I still code java games.
