A verg good game! Very good mood and good objetives. But I had no Idea in which direction East is. And it would be so much easier to play and I think it would get a better rating and more people would play it if you could play the game directly in the browser. With Unity you can simply change your game in the build settings to WEP-GL and upload it to e. g. itch. io or simmer. io. And whats about the Theme? But overall a very good game :).

Thanks for your comment! About directly browser gameplay feature. Game build size is nearly 150 - 160 MB i don't think WEB GL can handle it. İf it can i may try to load it on browser. About the East direction and game, I think pathfinding on a planet is adding something to gameplay and feeling. I don't tell which direction is East because i wan't players to think how can i find my way on space without compass but a great shining star. And about the theme, i was thinking more storytelling and objectives to get in the theme but i ran out of time and completed it this way. Thanks for your comment again!

The graphics in this game are amazing, the all round atmosphere due to various sounds and such is also very good. i really liked it and you did a great job!

Hey! This was really good. I love these sort of atmospheric games. Ran the wrong direction first time then used my brain and ran the right way. Wish you could have added more to it! Awesome job!

Great work ^^ Though I must say, it left me confused xD

I died a couple times and on every run I tried to go faster and faster. And on the last I skipped searching the ship and went straight for the antena. My objective didn't change from "Search ship", but I didn't mind and continued on. When I suddenly saw two astronauts lying there.

When I interacted with the new astronaut, it played a cutscene. I thought it was a bug, but then it said something about dieing multiple times so I don't know what to make of it xD

Still I really enjoyed it.

Nice entry here, I liked playing your game :)

Couldn't figure out which way is East so I just ran until I got bored. Amazing cutscene work at the start though.

So far this is one of the best and most complete games I have played for LD44. Very good job with the game. The intro was thrilling and I enjoyed it.

I really like the space feel to the game, such as the thruster jump and "sun" lighting effects. I got stuck trying to find the source of the radio waves, because I didn't know which direction "East" was. Is it relative to the asteroid circling the planet? I went right from the ship, assuming that the "sun" was north and couldn't find anything. Maybe it would help if the player was constrained by rocks or walls to prevent the player from walking too far in one direction. Hopefully someone makes a gameplay video so I can see where I was supposed to go.

Great sense of atmosphere (pun totally intended) with this game. I agree with @levidsmith - where is east? I wandered until I ran out of oxygen looking for it. Otherwise, the entry looks solid with a rough Astroneer / Space Engineers vibe. I like it. :)

curled-leaf 2019-05-02 09:42

Thanks for the comments! Maybe it was a mistake. I want people to solve that direction puzzle but i guess everyone is in rush about playing other games quickly. About the problem; East is towards the sun.

bustosman 2019-05-03 08:53

It's a very interesting concept going on here, but if there was supposed to be a cut-scene at the end it didn't happen for me. This game definitely would have been better if there were more things to do. For example, if the player headed anywhere else besides east there could've been areas with unique level design to explore. Decent entry.

curled-leaf 2019-05-03 12:19

Thanks @bustosman. We will be doing few increments in the gameplay and story in the future but for jam, there was not enought lime left to do these. So we don't include them in the game.

Beautiful game, great atmosphere and voice acting! Loved it! I got the false impression I could get things 'solved', but all I got was a big mind-fuck. I played it twice (so actually 6 times) to fully understand what was happening. It's a bit like The Stanley Parable - In Space, where I also didn't get from the beginning that the game never really restarts.

Absolutely amazing, I played it again just because it gives this very realistic lonely space feeling! The fact that you couldn't interact with much just added to this, as well as getting just "east" for direction. This gave it an extra survival touch! The only thing I missed was the link with the theme; are you paying with your life every time somehow? I didn't understand that, but then again maybe that was also part of the mind-fuck.

Ahahahah great comment @jorne you truly understood what's goind on in this dark space planet. I really love your comment and feelings. It makes me very happy now :D Thanks for your comment!

I reached the end after reading comments and dying at least 1 time :) Some bugs sometimes with objectives that doesn't display, or don't change even if completed. Good game I am impressed.

mrbrooms 2019-05-06 10:51

Toooooo short I need more of the story !!!

angiekatneko 2019-05-07 04:01

Couldn't finish past the first few seconds, it gave me anxiety and I panicked. But from what I could see I can tell you put effort into it. Nice job, keep it up!
