LD39 — Running out of Power

Supervision by Rudra Nil Basu 2017-08-05T07:22:43Z

Very interesting concept. I feel this could do with a little more polish to make it more player-friendly. The multiple character mechanic, though very interesting and unique, is a bit buggy and (unless its intended) you can control multiple people at the same time if you bugger around with the system too hard. Great entry overall. :)

Expectations by thebmxeur 2017-07-31T23:27:52Z

Very interesting game! I found it a bit difficult to figure out what to do; if there was some sort of tutorial and/or playing guide I feel as though this game would be a lot better off. The graphics are great and the feel of a text-based game is just fantastic. Great entry!

p o w e r ARM by xand 2017-08-07T05:05:54Z

@karai17 Yeah, I did skimp out on the clamping. I have functions in the game to do it, I just... didn't. xD

Olafshot by SirOlaf 2017-07-31T23:13:27Z

The controls feel good and the presentation, though a bit "static" because of lack of animations, is great as well. This game is a great Ludum Dare entry.

Alienation by Robber 2017-08-01T03:47:33Z

This game is amazing.

Zombie Power Station by CodeChomper 2017-07-31T23:33:58Z

Great entry! The player movement is a little slick at times however the feel of the game is quite nice. :)

BatteryPackMan by junjunlowpoly 2017-07-31T23:09:08Z

Very nice game. The graphics are great, and the only thing I would change is to say that you need to click through the messages at the beginning. Took me a minute to figure that out. :)

MotherBoard by nikrt 2017-07-31T23:38:42Z

Fantastic entry! I love how when you jump you can see the screen; that paired with the music made it feel almost like an epic action movie. Awesome job!

Battery Escape !!! by EggshellDog 2017-07-31T23:17:24Z

Graphics and feel are fantastic! Gameplay is fun and unique. Great job!

Game Rover by bruins 2017-07-31T23:30:44Z

Graphics are fantastic. Audio is great. If I were to suggest anything, I'd say maybe tweak the jumping noise so that it doesnt clash with the music. Feel of the game is alright, and the overall presentation is immaculate. Great job!

Number Station by maxr00 2017-08-01T05:37:28Z

You had me break out the pen and paper! [Image](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/228994776635015168/341816432641966090/Snapchat-928527723.jpg)

This was by far the most rewarding game Ive played. Coincidentally I just got into listening to Shortwave radio last week. So it really hit me in the excitement area. Fantastic work. :D

Be The President by MrSerp 2017-07-31T23:24:35Z

Interesting take on the theme. I would have made each month last a bit longer, but otherwise, its a great entry.

LD44 — Your life is currency

Bartleby in Space by CarlsonAndPeeters 2019-05-02T08:53:53Z

The graphics are sooooo cute! The thrusters have a nice feel to them, and the interactions with the places/people/animals/things is very well done. Great job :)

Chesty the Treasure by Lord9000 2019-05-02T08:40:29Z

Cute game. Graphics are good, music is also fair. Good entry!

Deep Space by Curled Leaf 2019-05-02T08:49:42Z

Great sense of atmosphere (pun totally intended) with this game. I agree with @levidsmith - where is east? I wandered until I ran out of oxygen looking for it. Otherwise, the entry looks solid with a rough Astroneer / Space Engineers vibe. I like it. :)

LD46 — Keep it alive

The Drown by Simon Rahnasto 2020-05-11T20:16:29Z

@tomssuli Do you remember what the crashes were? Although it's a little close to the deadline to fix for the LD version, we are thinking of working on a post-Jam version and any crash reports would be helpful!

Thanks for pushing through it and giving it another chance even though it crashed. :D

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Forest of the Lost by MartensCedric 2022-10-16T19:04:19Z

The mood in this game is well executed. The monsters can be unforgiving at times, but I did like how the animals during the day teach you how the enemies will end up attacking during the night. Good entry!

Flight of the Instrument Man by korfi 2022-10-15T00:58:13Z

The game is very smooth with a controller. Each theme/stage is a good environment, enemy design is unique. Great stuff!

LD54 — Limited Space

Gremlin Books Incorporated by bramreth 2023-10-07T16:44:23Z

As others have said, the vibe on this one is very Portal/Stanley Parable. I like that a lot about it. The way books in your hand wiggle and shake as you move the mouse around is a very nice touch.

The one piece of feedback I have: I had to set my mouse sensitivity to "Very High" and my own mouse's DPI fairly high to get a comfortable sensitivity.

Very nice job!

Out of Spacetime by bellicapelli 2023-10-07T16:50:05Z

The graphical style of Astroneer and the quick-action gameplay of Race the Sun? Sign me up!

The time dilation mechanic was super neat and nets you extra brownie points from me.

LD55 — Summoning

Demon Well by 100th_Coin 2024-04-25T04:07:19Z

This game was an absolute treat! The comedy in this game is my cup of tea through and through. I couldn't not enjoy this even as I struggled with my incapability of playing video games. The voice acting was great, the acapella music was fantastic. I did have some slight issues with the platforming on the final level, but with a couple extra playthroughs I think I've gotten the hang of it.

I recorded my first playthrough with commentary. https://youtu.be/Aon5ltKDKLA

A true gem, this one is.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Vox Regis by Sheepolution 2024-10-14T23:10:29Z

This was so charming, I found the visual execution to be absolutely incredible. It helped make this game with simple mechanics feel lively and complex. The voice lines are a nice touch. I'd say you _killed_ it with this one, Sheep!

Fastigrades by Kyrio 2024-10-12T18:05:04Z

Great little game that I replayed quite a few times. The graphics are consistent and fit the game well. Great work!

Among The Deep by Langotriel 2024-10-14T23:25:44Z

Great graphics, great audio, great vibes. I loved the parallaxing of the backgrounds and the feeling of switching tools. The cohesion of all the components creates a compelling experience. You two managed to put together a fantastic entry!

Exter-meh-nator by Samuel Fine 2024-10-12T15:32:52Z

I like this one! The primary camera not being attached to my player is a really interesting game mechanic that I think was well executed in this game. Great work!!!

LD57 — Depths

Captain Peggles: That Man's Chest by Sheepolution 2025-04-19T18:45:08Z

Awesome idea, incredible execution, just all around amazing. Especially for the timeframe. Praise be to Sheep and team, this is one of the most innovative entries I've played for any LD, period.

Shleep by Rongo Matane 2025-04-19T19:11:56Z

I loved this, it hit all my little happy points. I found the video cutscenes to be a really nice addition. It's not often I see those in a game (let alone an LD game). Every new thing that was added to the gameplay as time went on was a welcome change. At first the wolves were daunting, but the guard dogs kept my sheep safe :)

Nine Lives Deep by Simon Rahnasto 2025-04-19T17:36:54Z

@fraanns Ah, that's a real shame. As the one who programmed that, I feel bad your experience of the game was impacted. I appreciate your kind words even with that issue! It'll definitely be fixed for next time.

Nine Lives Deep by Simon Rahnasto 2025-04-20T16:07:41Z

@thesmellofoxygen That's unfortunate to hear! The game's source code is available in the ".love" format (you can unzip it like a ZIP file), and our EXEs are built using this process - https://love2d.org/wiki/Game_Distribution.

If you still want to play the game and don't want to use the EXE, you can install Love2D (https://love2d.org) and then run the ".love" file directly.

The Imptern by ChuChuGeralt 2025-04-20T19:23:53Z

Neat game! The music went really hard. I also encountered needing to click the button a few times for the door to close, but once I figured that out it wasn't really an issue. I like the different items between floors, using your kills as currency is a good idea. It let me decide if I wanted to stay on a floor to farm some cash, or move on. Great work!

Leap of Faith by Kyrios 2025-04-13T01:20:29Z

The graphics in this game are wonderful. The transition from sky to underground was very pretty. Great music too. A simple concept executed very well. Great job!

AM I ORTHODOX? by ZungryWare 2025-04-19T18:05:26Z

I thought this was incredibly neat. The story was very good at hooking me in - the combination of the character you occupy having little information and you the player having few words to use to get information is compelling. I think I share that same feeling of having built tension not lead to a satisfying ending, which at least for me was subdued by the game's description outright declaring what to expect. The sound was great. I loved finding new responses where words with 5 or 6 ticks on them were included, knowing I had to dig to find a way to ask about it.

Kudos, this is one of my favorites.
