Cool concept, reminds me of Crypt of the NecroDancer. Definitely could be smoothed out a little bit in terms of controls, but nice job!

Cool concept, reminds me of Crypt of the NecroDancer. Definitely could be smoothed out a little bit in terms of controls, but nice job!
Cute use of theme and nice sprite work! I wish the camera gave you more of a sense of where you were about to go -- screen transitions caused me to run into people a lot. But it was a fun experience overall!
Really impressive work! Though you can see the stuff you didn't have time to implement, the stuff that's there is remarkable. Whenever I felt bored, the merchant would appear and I'd put myself in dire straits to buy those upgrades. I wish I could see the status of my shields when the repair option was up, and it would've been nice to know how far along I was. But really really great job!
Really solidly put together. The trajectory on my bullets felt strange and made it hard to consistently aim, but I got the hang of it. I also wasn't quite sure if/when I was taking damage. But the top down naval combat was really cool and looked great. Good stuff!
Cool concept, somewhat rocky execution, but for a fully 3d stealth game for LD its very impressive. Like the visual style and the soundtrack, and the use of theme was great. Would've been cool to have more to spend life force on and more penalties for being seen. Good job!
I wasn't sure what the UI at the top meant, like what was my health and stuff. But it was a fun game and the upgrades felt nice and the enemies provided a good level of challenge. Great work!
Really impressive, fully featured project. I'm terrible at this kind of game so it was super hard for me. But the visual style was super strong and consistent, the gameplay was clear, and the audio was good too. Awesome work!
Great aesthetics, cool concept, unique take on the theme; great stuff! Would've loved a longer, more fleshed out experience, but for a jam game it was really cool!
Cool game! Ran into a couple bugs with zombie behavior, but that's to be expected in a jam. The arrow mechanic was nice and I could see it being expanded into a larger project. And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Love the aesthetics, great execution on a rock solid premise. Some of the jumps felt super precise, and it would've been nice to have a reward of some kind of completing a level with both characters. But killing one for a powerup was a cool mechanic. Great job!
Cute game! Fun to watch my mountain of money grow, and the physics were impressive. Might've been cool if there was some kind of enemy to combat or another source of challenge. But as a idle simulation type-game it was really enjoyable.
Really good use of the theme, nice sense of risk-reward to it. Combat felt a little clunky, but the powerful weapons were satisfying to use. Great stuff.
I got really addicted to this. I want to try to get more and more money. Its hard but engaging and encourages me to try again. And the visuals work really well with the design. Great stuff! And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Solid puzzle mechanics, nice core concept, great visuals. Would've loved more levels and mechanics; I think this is worth expanding on! Great stuff
@synedraacus just added a linux build; I can't test it because I don't have a Linux machine, just built it from my Unity project. Hopefully it works!
Yoinked over 300 monies! I love that its called yoinking...there was a great sense of humor to the game. The visual layout was a neat idea also. Short and to the point, but I had a good time with it. Great stuff, and thanks for tuning into the stream!
Really cool game! Some of the platforming controls are a little buggy, mainly with when you can and can't jump. But the upgrade system is really cool. I'd like to try replaying it with different upgrades (I went with double jump, high jump, and light) Once I realized the background music changed with upgrades, I really dug it, too. And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Simple idea, but very well executed! The use of theme makes for a nice customizable challenge; I ended up over leveling myself and not having enough health, which is exactly like it should be! Great job!
Really nice puzzles, interesting game design, good artwork, original ideas; this game is so very up my alley. And all the ideas were executed on really well. The camera perspective made some movement and understanding what was going on in the level confusing at times, but that's my only complaint. I had a lot of fun playing it. And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Good use of theme, gameplay felt a little clunky but I could see this being a larger game; definitely some cool ideas in there and nice visuals!
Really impressive, powerful stuff. The relationship between the gameplay and the story is perhaps a little on the nose, but its really impressive for a Ludum Dare game. I definitely felt motivated to help my little guy swim to safety. On top of that, the art and audio were fantastic and the characters and writing were super strong. You should be incredibly proud of yourself, this is a real achievement and one of the best entries I've played.
Took me a while to realize I could move down without being on stairs. Once I realize that, it was a nice little puzzle game, though the connection to the theme is a bit of a stretch. The lightning looked fantastic, though it made it such that I couldn't tell where the second to last staircase was. Good job!
Really creative and unique game, I'm impressed that the audio recognition worked as well as it did. I had fun talking to myself in my apartment. Its definitely less responsive than playing with normal controls, but it also feels like thats the goal. Good stuff!
This was a great little puzzle game! The core mechanic was really cool and made great use of the theme; I could see it being expanded into a full game with lots of different age mechanics. The joke about putting the guards to sleep was great too. Awesome job!
Great concept, I was playing solo but I think it works better as a multiplayer game, trying to one-up your friends. I had a bit of trouble with the hitboxes and timing my jumps. But the production quality is super high. Great stuff!
I had a lot of fun playing this. The core mechanic is really solid and I could see being expanded into a larger experience. Its a ton of fun to just let an enemy whittle your health down, then switch places with them and obliterate them. The difficulty and complexity escalated nicely too. Great job!
This was awesome, great spin on Mario Party! I love how the amount of money you've made effects the difficulty of the boss fight at the end. The minigames were very well done with their own style and polish; I wish I had gotten more than 2 in my playthrough. Great job!
I was very impressed by this. Cool mechanics, nice upgrade tree, good art. A little unbalanced toward the end perhaps, but most importantly, I had *fun* feeling like a super powerful grim reaper tearing up bad guys. Great stuff, and thanks for tuning into the stream!
Super tough, but really cool! Proud of myself that I managed to beat it eventually. Great use of theme, strong core concept, and nice aesthetics all around. Platforming was maybe a little too tight for my liking, but the game was short enough that you could forgive the punishing aspect. Great job!
Best graphics I've seen so far. And I love how the gameplay ties into the art, making it fun to search for the needed character. Only complaint is that sometimes people would walk into the well on their own and I'd take damage which didn't feel fair. But really great stuff!
Dude, this was awesome. Really creative mechanics, great battle music, and I definitely felt the push to beat all those people and take their souls. I'd love to know how you did the card generation! It felt perfectly balanced, like I had just enough time to try to find the winning hand but it was still a challenge to do so. Great work.
Great use of theme, and a really well made puzzler! I liked how puzzles would challenge you in different ways and make you rethink your initial assumptions. Really great work!
Nice job! The audio was really impressive, and the art in the opening scenes was top notch! Gameplay was a little hard to control, but the use of theme tied into it nicely. Good stuff!
Can't see the itch.io page (but the title has me excited)
No apology necessary! Congrats on finishing a game! Good use of Robin Hood-esqueness for the theme!
Nice job! Environment visuals are top notch; would've loved to see a similar stylistic design on the characters. Once I upgraded my weapons it was a ton of fun, albeit a little repetitive. An endless survival round might be fun too. Great stuff, and thanks for tuning into the stream!
I didn't think this was funny or fun. Not the kind of thing I want to play a game about at all.
One of the best office simulation games I've played this LD! The line about "schedule another meeting to unpack this further" was too real. Great use of audio too!
Nice stuff! I like how you amass a big group of friends by the end. I wish I could shoot behind me though.
Nice innovation on the clicker game formula! I wish clicking on a soul-less building didn't automatically open the repair menu; would've been nice to have a separate option for that cause I accidentally opened it all the time. But nice work!
Great visual aesthetic, smart concept, good humor weaved throughout. The harsh white and black colors hurt a little bit as I stared at numbers tick up and down. But I was engaged in those numbers, which is impressive! And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Great use of the theme and loved the character graphics! I'm not usually a big IF player, but I liked the characters in this a lot!
Absolutely love the artwork! The main character is great. I agree that the controls are a little slippery, which made exploring a little tough. But great stuff!
The core mechanics was really unique and fun! It was maybe a little easy to avoid the foxes by jumping back and forth between sides. But I had fun with it and could see it expanded into a larger game. Great stuff!
One of my favorite entries. The minigames were great, the art was solid (loved the boss character model), and the premise was really unique and clever. The humor extended to the money saving mechanics as well, which was a nice touch. Really great stuff, you should be proud! And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Clever use of the theme! I could see the resource allocation mechanic being really fun to play with in a larger project. Levels had a good level of challenge I felt. Great stuff!
Funny concept executed well. The difficulty definitely spikes up pretty fast after a certain point, but the general humor of the gameplay is strong. I like how you're kind of giving the people what they want by shooting money at them. Great job, and thanks for tuning into the stream!
Really impressive programming game! Definitely hard, but I'm amazed out how fully-featured it is. I can spend hours trying to solve these kinds of puzzles; really good work!
I had a lot of fun with this! the addition of new mechanics in each level was nice. Hard to control, but not too hard; though I did feel my hand cramping up a bit. And one of the better uses of the theme I've seen. Great stuff, and thanks for tuning into the stream!
Really clever implementation of the theme. I'd love to see this expanded into a longer game; I think the concept has a lot of potential!
Fun, silly game, and the music was fantastic. I wish I had known earlier that the ladder was an upgrade, cause I thought I was doing something wrong not being able to use it. The upgrades were pretty expensive for the amount of money you made each turn. Overall great job!
I like the core concept, and multi-row runners are always up my alley. I had a hard time telling which row the enemies were in though. The music was good also, but maybe a bit too loud relative to the sound effects. Good stuff!
Really great stuff! The pixel graphics were really good (particularly the backgrounds), and I loved the varied opponents. I also liked how I could leave my goal to try and score (and inevitably miss and lose). The audio had a very high level of quality. I might recommend lowering the matches to first to 3 since they dragged a little bit. But great stuff!
Great premise, great execution. Reminds me of that scene from the matrix reloaded in the best possible way. Timing when to jump could be tricky, but in a way that added to the fun and challenge of the game. Great stuff!
Nice idea and I really liked the simple visual style. Would've loved more creature types (gimme some humans), and it would've been nice to know what the upgrades did before I bought them. Good stuff!
Dude, you should put yourself up for graphics voting, because that face effect is awesome! Was a little confused by the gameplay, but its got an impressive suite of mechanics. Really good stuff!
I could definitely see this being expanded into a larger game! Felt a little easy as-is, but the art and mechanics were super impressive and polished. I'm not usually a tactics player but I was very on board with the world you built. Great stuff, and thanks for tuning into the stream!
I'll be honest, when I saw the screenshots I thought "well that's gonna be a nightmare to control." But I was very wrong! The gameplay is super responsive and it was a lot of fun to dodge the cop and make him crash into a wall. It did get a little easy; maybe adding more cops as the game goes on would work well? Either way, great stuff! And awesome music and voice acting!
I had fun with this! It was charming and funny and the theme was used in a really smart way! I couldn't really understand which upgrades did what though. But overall great stuff.
Great graphics and good use of theme! The movement was a little slippery and I couldn't really figure out how I was supposed to attack. But the infinite double jump at the cost of life was really clever. Good stuff!
Took me a little while to realize how I was supposed to be jumping, but once I got that down it was fun to zoom through the levels. The pill gambling mechanic wasn't super clear to me; like I still don't know when I should be betting pills. But its a cool concept that I'd love to see expanded on. Great stuff!
I had a lot of fun with this! The mixing of the gameplay elements kept it interesting, and the whole package was funny and entertaining. And thanks for checking out the stream!
Took me a little while to figure out how the game works, but now I'm interested to try playing it against a friend. Not sure I ever fully grasped the strategy, but a really solid board game implementation! Good stuff.
Art was great and the characters were a lot of fun. Would love to see the idea of a fancy man on a desert island expanded on; its a funny concept. Combat was a bit tricky, I couldn't really figure out how to reliably avoid damage. Congrats on your first jam! And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Great aesthetics and humor, its a really cool world you get a sense of when you play it. Overall controls and physics were very finicky for me, so it was kind of hard to appreciate the encounter design. But I'd be very interested to play a polished, fleshed-out version of this concept. Good stuff!
Very interesting concept! The connection to the theme seems like a bit of a stretch, but the core gameplay is really clever and fun.
Was confused about the mechanics at first, but once I figured it out it was a very rewarding puzzle solving experience (with a bit of time pressure that added to the enjoyability). Definitely ran into some bugs, but nothing too awful. Visuals were simple but the lighting helped to amplify them. Great stuff! And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Great use of theme; you really feel the pain of it costing you health every time you miss a shot. It was a little lacking in variety, but still, great job!
Clever twist on tetris! Definitely forced me to throw a lot of my tetris experience out the window and learn how to play a familiar game in a new way. Art was top notch also. Theme is a stretch, but either way, great stuff. And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Love the art! Would definitely recommend throwing some music in there, even if its just auto-generated or something like that. Not usually my kind of game, but I managed to make it through 17 waves. More enemies and units would be cool if you expand on it! And thanks for tuning into the stream!
Nice job, rare that you see a narrative-focused game like this in LD, and your aesthetics were on point; love the minimalist style. I felt a little disconnected from the story at first and my choices in it, but once I got into it I liked it. Great job!
