This is definitely the best looking game I have seen so far. It is very well polished, and it's fun to play, with a message to boot. Awesome job!

This is definitely the best looking game I have seen so far. It is very well polished, and it's fun to play, with a message to boot. Awesome job!
I jumped the first time a guardian appeared, even though I was prepared for it, I wasn't expecting a giant, floating, purple face. I had a lot of fun playing this. The graphics and audio are really well done. Amazing game!
Short but fun. I really like the art style, and the controls are responsive. Awesome game!
I had an insane amount of fun with this, I especially enjoyed flinging things out into space! The physics are really well done, and the graphics, while simple, are also well done. Great entry!
An impressive game. The art and music are fantastic! And the sound effects fit the game perfectly. Great job!
The sword swinging mechanic was executed very well, and was a blast to use! The music really added to the feel of the game, even if its a bit repetitive. The controls are also very responsive. Overall I had a lot of fun playing this game. Awesome entry!
Fun little game! It took me awhile to figure out what to do with my following, but then I realized I could lead them into the fiery pit of doom, and promptly started doing so. Great entry!
This is differently a difficult game, but in my option, that's what makes it fun! I really like how it appears you are playing on an arcade machine, the way you stylized the screen really enhances the feel of the game. Really well done.
The concept is interesting. While the game feels nice, I wasn't quite sure what to do at the start, but once I got a basic grasp on what I was suppose to do, I started to enjoy it. Nice entry!
A very impressive entry, as well as fun. I like the fast paced feel of the game. The art and sounds are very well done. Awesome work!
Really fun game! The art work is superb, and the music really contributes to the atmosphere of the game. One thing though, when I was playing, the controls unexpectedly stopped working. While I could shoot, the bullets didn't seem to do damage, and I could not move. Other then that, great game!
I had a lot of fun playing this game. The sound effects are hilarious, and the animation for the sprites are amazing. Awesome work!
Loved the music. The tanks and turrets are really well done. I found it a bit hard to aim, but that's probably just me. Awesome entry!
The art style is amazing! I like the mix of 2d and 3d. It is hard to tell when you have damaged the enemy. I jumped when the game started up, I wasn't expecting it to announce its presence so loudly. Awesome work!
The art in this game is amazing! I also really like the concept. Awesome game!
I really enjoyed playing this! While I did notice some bugs, none of them were really that big: I could stand on and in the platform, and I would sometimes run while in the jump animation. But other then that, this is a really fun game to play, and the art looks great. Awesome job!
I had a lot of fun playing this, even though I died a lot. Great work!
Nice game! Levels are very well done, and the controls are very snappy as well. Great work!
@unlink It worked! I don't have the 3840x2160 resolution, so I set it to the highest resolution available (1366x768), and it now everything is scaled properly.
The controls for the game are really smooth, and the sound effects and music are well done. Overall, its a rather calming game. Good job!
This was definitely a unique entry. Very fun and challenging. Well done!
Good job on this game! The only problems I have with it are the controls, which for me, are almost impossible to use, and the sound effects. Other then that, its a decent game. And I had fun playing it (other then the controls) I really like the art as while.
I had so much fun jumping around and blasting things! Really awesome entry!
I really enjoyed playing this! Difficult as I find it. Everything is well polished, from the controls to the switching mechanic. It also looks great, and the music fits the game perfectly. Great entry!
Awesome game! I really like the style of the enemies, and the overall art and music of the game. It did take me awhile to get use to the controls, but once i did it was really fun to play.
It's a nice little game! Would like to see some more levels. The player controller could use some work though.
The art for this game is amazing, and the sound effects give it so much life. The game play, while simple, is very satisfying (Especial shaking the colonists off), fun, and polished. Awesome game! I really enjoyed playing it.
Wow! The art, the sound, the game play, everything is extremely well done and polished. Amazing job!
Thanks for the encouraging comments everyone!
@robowarrior1982 I original had a collider on the trees but I had to remove them due to bugs when exporting. But thanks for the feedback! I do plan on polishing the game after the jam, so any feedback or bug reports are greatly appreciated.
I'm glade everyone seems to be enjoying my game!
@frostdragonliz I was rushing near the end, and completely forgot to add transitions to stuff like the upgrade screen, even though I had been reminding myself to not forget to add transitions throughout the jam. I'm pretty sure my brain fell asleep during the final hours.
Thanks for the awesome comments everyone! And for the feedback! I'm really happy that people aren't just playing, but also enjoying my game.
@pcoridan I just set a collider around the player for the attack range. As for the animation, I couldn’t figure out how to get the animations to transition seamlessly, at least not without a lot of playing around with unity. Thanks for the feedback.
@ryfi Thanks. I plan on adding some more stuff and doing a lot of polish after the jam.
@sver Haha, thanks.
Thanks for the feedback! @dk5000p
@webox @hunter-towe Thanks for playing!
The attack for both the player and the monster is something I definitely need to work on. Thanks for the feedback!
@deformhead Thanks!
@kiv Thank you!
@hans1203 Thanks! I'm glade you like it.
@arkinrev Haha, thanks!
@m0dsat I’m glade you like it! I am already working on an update for my game, which will have an improved combat system.
@glimaleite Thank you! I believe I have fixed both those issues you have brought up. I added an animation to the upgrade screen, and a sound effect for when the player is damaged. I plan on uploading the update sometime next week. Thanks again.
@lesinvisible Thanks! I wanted to keep it simple since I wasn’t sure of what I could accomplish in 48 hours.
@m2tias Thanks for playing! And thanks for the feedback!
@aileron Thanks! Could you please elaborate on what you mean by 'deeper mechanics'?
@aileron Thanks. I'll keep those in mind.
Solid game! Everything runs smoothly, and is well polished. The art is amazing, and the music really works well with the game. The pace of the game is slow, and to me, the gameplay was a bit dull. But other then that, I did enjoy playing it. Awesome work!
I love the concept! Your game is well polished, and plays smoothly. My only qualm is the lack of impact your game has when you do something. It's hard to know if a wasp has killed one of your ants, or if your ants have finished collecting from a strawberry. A little screen shake and particles can go a long way :D Other then that, I enjoyed playing your game. Keep up the good work!
@mad-brokli @glowt @feingehacktes @ssstormy Thank you so much for your kind words. We really appreciate it.
@ssstormy You die when a projectile hits you, or when you touch a monster. None of us thought about smoothing scene transitions, we were all focused on other things it slipped our minds. That's why all the scene changes are so abrupt.
@almax @huntrox @mashas @blitzcloud @noobdev Thank you so much for the feedback! I plan on doing a post-jam update, which will hopefully balance out the game.
@comicsans Haha, Thanks! We will post an post-jam version which will balance out the game.
@kapitstick I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've noticed that bug too. It will be fixed in the post-jam update.
@noobdev Thank you. I'm hoping to add a boss-of-sorts to each dungeon.
@simon-rahnasto Thank you!
@nikita-demidov @egos @charlietu @lunardust @pranjalbisht @aderix @coatline
Thank you for playing! I'm glade you enjoyed it :D
We will be releasing a post-jam update that will balance and optimize the game, making it run a lot smoother. It will also fix a lot of bugs, and, there's the possibility of a boss being added.
@nikolay-zapolnov Thank you! Currently you only have one life. We will be releasing a post-jam update which will have a few changes.
@yahub Thanks for playing! Yes, we do seem to have a knack for making hard games. The is a lot of balancing done in the post-jam update.
@kirroyal I don't think any of us know how to use path finding, so we didn't add it for the jam. I might add it to the post-jam update though :D
@shess Thank you! I'm glade you like it!
@ausstein Thank you for the feedback. Your points are very valid. The code we did was a really big mess, and caused a lot of lag. I have already gone in and cleaned it up. It runs a lot smoother now. I also added a delay when the monsters spawn, that ways you can run in and grab the minions and get out before the monsters react. I will release the update after the jam.
Right now the random generation is truly random. We have very little control over it. I'll try changing that in the update.
Thanks again for the feedback!
@kaeveris Thank you! Currently, there are no easy rooms. Everything is just random. I plan on fixing this in the post-jam uppdate :D
@zuf Thanks for playing!
I have fixed most of the problems mentioned. I will try fixing the physics, but I can't promise much improvement since I'm rather new to top down physics.
@space-nomad Thank you for playing! I'm glade you enjoyed it.
@someone Thank you for the feedback! The spawning issue has been fixed, and will be released in the post-jam update.
@game-mon Thank you! We're glade you enjoyed it!
@ryjcio Thanks for playing! We plan on releasing a post-jam update, which will involve some game balances.
This is such a great designed game! The mechanic is genius, the level design is great. Incredible game!
The atmosphere in this game is incredible and ominous. And only got better the more I played. Loved the story aspects as well. Amazing job!
An amazing game. I loved the art style, and the atmosphere was perfect. Took me awhile to get the controls, but other than that, an incredible job.
@tinykidtoo Thank you! We might just have to add that.
@gareld Thanks for the kind words!
@purrseus Thank you so much! We're so happy you love it.
@magna Thank you! Yeah, we completely forgot about mouse sensitivity, we'll be sure to add it to the post-jam update.
@oc1d We're happy you enjoyed playing! Your feedback is duly noted.
@realkonstantin Thank you :smile:
@save-sloth-studios Thanks for playing. We'll be sure to add some more warning when enemies attack in the update.
@hakunasoft Thanks! We're don't think we'll be taking this too much further, since we do have another project in the works. But it can change.
@deseteral Thank you! Much appreciated.
@joonamo Thank you! We were going to add some platforming bits, you can kinda see that in the fifth level, but we decided we wanted to focus on the combat.
@liero116 Thank you!
@pierre-morreel I've removed the dash in the post-jam update (which will be coming out soon), due to it, as you've said, being pretty much useless. I may also increase the difficulty, we didn't get to do much play testing, so the balancing is a bit off. Thanks for playing and feedback!
@sublustris Спасибо (с помощью Google Translate)
@gamescodedogs Thank so much!
@fishmasterino Thank you! We tried to keep the enemies spread out. Can't have it being too easy XD. I'll try figuring out a way to fix the text on the signs.
@kostya Thank you :D
@skosnowich Thank you! It's actually not a shader, the camera resolution is just set to a very small size XD I've increased the difficulty for the post-jam update (coming out soon).
@pnkvrt Thanks! Very much appreciated. I'll be upping the challenge in the coming update. Also, you can turn off the camera tilt in the settings.
@cyriaque Thanks! Yeah, we're couldn't find away to make certain things clearer, so we had to settle with making them as big as we could.
Best. Game. Ever.
Absolutely incredible! My favorite game I've played. Would definitely love to see this expanded upon.
@suchista Thanks! I agree. I wanted to add some sort of respawn system, but ran out of time.
@digitaldude555 Thank you so much! Combat could use a little polish.
@mopifish Thanks!
@gus-goucher That's not good. I'll look into that. If you want, the web build is working now, so you can try that.
@gus-goucher Thanks! I was trying to avoid making the game difficult, so I'm glad I was able to pull it off.
@digitaldude555 Thank you! A map was planned, but I had to scrape it due to time constraints. I agree on the tact on-ness of the theme. I wish I could have done more with the concept.
@brusi Thank you! The game can definitely be unforgiving. I would have added a respawn system, but ran out of time.
@gbgames Thanks XD I probably should have been a bit more clear on the RMB instructions. Also, yeah, the bee does stick out quite a bit. Trying to get everything to conform to a color palette while making sure the enemies had variety and didn't blend into the background was a lot harder than I thought it was going to bee.
@leorid Thank you! I wanted the tentacles to collide with the ground, to make it feel more, well, grounded. But with all the problems it caused, I probably should have just removed it entirely. Those are some great ideas! But I'm not sure if I'm going to do anymore than some bug fixes. I've already got a couple projects going on. But who know, I may change my mind later on, because I do rather like the concept of it.
@raptor851 Thanks! Yeah, the hand getting stuck can be quite annoying, but it's mostly a visual bug. Just press the LMB to reset it. I'm sorry about the camera, probably should have finetuned it more. Could you expand the the grabbing issues?
@rawb Thanks! That's pretty cool, I'll have to check yours out!
@marvalgames @foursay @bassilij Thank you all so much!
I'm still debating over what I should do with this. I like the concept, so I guess we'll see.
@devzhrssh Thank you! That's a great compliment, means I did that bit right.
@dmitrygalias Thank you! I agree. Probably not the best sound choice.
@arqitech @rbn Thank you!
@nick-hayashi Thank you! That's very impressive XD
@agrimes Thanks. Yeah, the game could really benefit from a respawn system
Thank you all so much!
@milan8890 Yeah, the arm getting stuck is definitely a problem. Just press the LMB to get it unstuck.
@cakts Checkpoints are definitely something I wish I added.
@vila6 I'm glad you had a lot of fun playing!
@ditam Thank you! Yeah, no parallax in this one XD
@hawkin Thank you! I would have liked to give the player more instances to use the grapple, but couldn't make the map any bigger due to time constrants. Hollow Knight was definitely on my mind when making this. But I ended up taking a lot of inspiration from a game called Rain World, which I haven't played and only discovered it a couple of days before the jam. But it was very pretty and I loved the atmosphere.
@morricore Thanks!
The hand-bug is purely visual, just press the LMB to get it unstuck, and orbs being out of reach was just poor planning.
But yeah, it is missing a lot of needed features and is missing polish in quite a few areas.
@theo-clarke @evan-minto Thank you!
What a great game. It's so well polished. The art is adorable, and I love all the animations. Great job!
I absolutely loved your take one this. The art and music are great. I thought this was infinite at first, but nope. You pact quite a bit in. The only problem I had was it took me a while to get use to the movement. It felt heavy and clunky at first, but after a couple minutes of moving around, I got use to it.
What an incredibly fun game! I absolutely loved it! Everything is so thought out, and very well put together. I managed to get up to 1878 (or somewhere theres about XD).
Absolutely loved this one. The mood, graphics, and audio are all top notch. While it does get a bit repetitive after a while, I enjoyed the relaxing nature of the tasks and the lack of danger. Great job!
Definitely has a lot of fun with this one. Perfect game to sink hours into XD Great job!
