Song worked incredibly well with the game. Incredibly enjoyable to have my slimes bouncing around while im jamming out and trying to break my high score. Really really enjoyed the game. Well done dude

Really enjoyed the simplicity of the game.. Thats not to say its overly simple.. just a good interpretation of the theme with solid execution. Really enjoyed the entire idea and found myself playing quite a few times just to beat my high score. Well done!
Fun game! Challenge was definitely there as you get beyond wave 5. +1 for using your own engine. Keep up the great work!
Pretty groovy art design. Definitely a flash of the past in this one
Adorable graphics + good execution on idea.. Just wish the game had a challenge curve as you progressed through the ranks (possibility to get killed).. Really good start and well done
I enjoyed the fluidity of the movement and was impressed overall with how clean everything looked and reacted.. only got stuck in the trash structures once but was able to free myself eventually. Well done interpretation of the theme :+1
Really cute design. Love the idea + execution.. Ran into a small bug where i couldnt keep playing but a refresh is fine by me to try again :D. Keep up the good work
Really nice text based gameplay. Really liked the interface you guys put together.. had a Papers Please feel to it which i loved.
Think that a really simple few tracks for the intro / day to day gameplay would have added a lot to the overall feel. Really enjoyed the presentation and the overall idea
audio was on point.. definitely gave me a good scare while wearing my headphones. with a little bit of balancing work it would be perfect. The simplistic idea and the fact that I was told there was 100% a way through made it a fun challenge. Well done with limited time.. had quite a few jumps when i thought i made it only to hear the "screech" sound
Wonderful entry. Really enjoyed the simplicity of the entire game. Creative approach given the theme. As a cat lover this felt like a the daily routine for my cats. :+1 had a good time
Cute game. Jumping felt a little floaty but thats alright because the challenge was there once you miss a jump or two and start panicking/ :+1
@pabricka i definitely ran into some keycode issues when going from Windows->HTML so Id imagine there are a few issues with different keyboard manufacturers/language usage.. Didnt realize it would be an issue until there was <30 minutes left :( sorry about that for those who it broke the game for (@girania)
Music at the beginning is pretty adorable and catchy.. Had some issues when running in my browser so will try on a different computer later tonight (was seeing massive frame rate drops on the first level).. hoping it was just my computer
Platforming idea is pretty cool and a fun mechanic to work around while navigating the levels you guys put together.. was pleasantly surprised with the amount of content and #NoSpoilers but I knew I couldnt trust that whale tail at the end
Level design (entrance / exit) was really clean and satisfying for transitions.. With some more polish + checkpoint systems for the longer levels this is a great start
Initially was a bit confused about what I was doing with my turns of life but really enjoyed the idea of creating an challenge for yourself based on your current life situation.
The music+mood really matched the overall decision making the game forced on you each successive turn. Would like to see named incidents creep into the turn system but understand that time constraints make that difficult.
Well done
This is incredible and makes me so happy. Why fake retro when you can actually do a Commodore game. Links to repos on web version are wonderful and give me some new repos to check out.
Really cool project
I really enjoyed the game. I like puzzles and happen to be a programmer who likes to throw together random scripts / parse things
Not what I expected. The wife walked away from this one while I grinded to the end.. well done unique experience! --------------------------- Error --------------------------- Failed to upload your rating.
I hope you enjoyed the game. Judging from your rating you are eager to give this game a great review with a detailed comment on its Ludum Dare site

Remember that though the game might have been rather short, much emphasis was put on compatibility, security and reliability so you got to enjoy a high quality game.
Thanks for playing!

P.S. did you know that you can hit Ctrl+C in a Windows message box and it will save the text to clipboard? Go ahead, try it. --------------------------- OK ---------------------------
Enjoyed the game. Art and sound worked really well together. Definitely felt like the game would benefit from a full mini map so there's an idea of how much level is still remaining.
Think you guys have a really good base to go from. Well done!
Attacking felt a bit awkward but I definitely kept retrying to get the hang of it. The art feel was really nice
Was really really enjoyable but couldnt survive beyond a minute. Would love to see this expanded to a game where you have to choose when to go out and play / more decisions around the daily grind of being a musician.
This is a wonderful entry! well done!
Would love to see this executed outside of the tile like system. Only real issue I had was at times it felt like I didnt have full control of my character.
Really enjoyed the music + the feel of the game. The learning process of the tomes was really enjoyable too
Well done
has a really nice slay the spire feel to it.
well done guys

got real far before getting the error code others have mentioned above.
really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the entire game. got completely lost in the experience for a long while... it was great
well done!
Really unique concept. Definitely something where more mechanics as the levels progress would be incredible (trying to survive through years of disease, etc)
Very well done across the board!
Got my soul back in 31 days but saved >300k extra souls... oops
Enjoyed the idea a lot. Wish there was some mechanic to allow for auto-collecting money from my buildings. Might make it too easy but my little fingers hurt
Well done dude
Really like the minimal movement controls. Felt really nice to hop around and fire some shots at folks down in the pit. Would be fun to add a kill counter + some other fighting mechanics (the more ridiculous the better).
Well done!
The sliding feeling of the movement felt like I was supposed to skate around all the enemies. I may have just been too bad at attacking to make that work. Either way I had some fun running around the dungeon trying to avoid everything while collecting gold
Well done
@gentel I'm really happy to hear someone was able to get through all 20 levels! I know the jumps are pretty tight from doing rough QA myself. I made a note to update level 14 on the next post-Jam release (believe this is the level you can run left and fall off)
@sylvie so many silly decisions made during the jam and I think the base resolution takes the cake.. I'll be pushing a post-jam version that uses a more sensible resolution (not 1920x1080 default w/ no option to resize)
@reheated You are definitely not unobservant! You picked up on literally everything in the game.. all the things that you couldn't access weren't fully realized in the jam version of the game.
Thank you so much for the kind words and very thorough review!
@mrspeaker thank you for the honest feedback. I had a very similar feeling as I was adding the jump blocks into the game; you and @goerp are spot on, thank you for confirming the weird feel / breaking of the experience. Unfortunately thats the 1 sprite I hand painted so... it of course looks terrible and out of place
@gonutz he wasn't supposed to kill you if you didnt kill the rat. There's a text line where he "gives you a seeing potion". Once you get that you will see blocks that reveal a path to the star
For folks who kill the rat you are stuck with a sign that tells you to jump. My solo playtester was able to proceed on that level after killing the rat so I thought the puzzle of "being stuck" with a star in plain sight + a sign would be enough
Believe theres only 1/2 folks who managed to struggle through all 20 levels
definitely not stupid you @gonutz! i played your game and was one of the ones who managed to get all the way through  This is not anywhere near that type of puzzle (no real clear solution presented)
Really impressive project. My initial take was this is really good for a Jam game.. but holy moly this is a wonderful accomplishment; creating something unique and as creative as this is a feat in itself.
The most impressive thing is the stickiness of the controls and the desire to "try 1 more time". The entire fit of all the elements of the project makes me think I'll be seeing this on Steam / in a production build sometime in the future.
Very well done
Was able to get through quite a few levels but the windows did feel a bit tight (very possible my platforming skills are a bit rusty and my jumping was a bit suboptimal)
Felt the frenzy of a squirrel just trying to get a nut to survive
Really enjoyed the art style and overall feel of being in the trees.
well done
Overall a really fun idea to be fighting off folks for useless goodies  I'd love to see more RPG style elements for attacking to keep things interesting
The voice acting had me laughing (in a good way). I really enjoyed the way it fit into the feel of the game (struggling to describe why it worked so well)
Well done dudes!
I really enjoyed the overall idea of the game. Im really bad at paying attention to things so maybe I just didn't get things all right in order to do Tricks.
really cool base product
Enjoyed the roguelike design of the game. Think I'm too nooby to get past the boss and see a merchant / what's next.
Think there might be some benefit to using "overly simple" AI mechanics in certain rooms (i.e. enemies on paths that the player would have to avoid with good movement).. I might just be salty that I died so many times
Entire feel of the game is on point. Would love to see this game pushed forward and see tons of rogue like mechanics introduced.
Well done
I enjoyed faffing off for an entire lifetime. Felt a bit too real though.. perfectly mirrors my life of crime
Controls were a bit funky to get used to but enjoyed the silliness of it for sure
I did find a bug where you could respawn inside a piece of falling block and be stuck. happened to me with 1 life left at 12.. did go back to get my 15
Enjoyed the idea of having the decision to risk it with a continue vs spawning a new offspring. Definitely fun to have a 1 arm, 1 leg, 1 eyed fatty try to get through any level
Wish I had got a little farther (lost at level 16 with arms and legs to spare) to see what other enemies you guys added to the game.
Overall the game had a nice bit of variety and a cool base idea for the theme
Well done!
Combat took some getting used to but from time to time I would slice 4 dudes with a single hit and that felt pretty badass!
Really liked the decision making with the 3 different health pools to choose from. Would have liked to see some variation on the enemies but overall well done guys!
